Milano Verticale | UNA Esperienze

Hotel Verticale is my go-to hotel in Milan. Whenever I’m in the city and there’s availability, I stay here – I’ve never really felt the need to look elsewhere. The rooms are modern, quiet and, above all, very clean. The bed is really comfortable, the layout of the room makes sense and the amenities are exactly what you need when you’re travelling for work. The staff are consistently helpful and professional, both at reception and at breakfast. Breakfast itself is a real plus: generous, with very fresh products, a good selection of sweet and savoury options and some well-prepared dishes that go beyond the usual anonymous hotel buffet. Because of all this – the quality of the rooms, the cleanliness, the service and the breakfast – the overall experience feels much closer to a 5-star hotel than a standard 4-star.

I was super disappointed by Milano Verticale. I was hosting a large group of architects and designers and chose this hotel because it looked well designed and had good reviews. To begin the poor first impression, the hotel staff did not have the updated booking information from Booking.com and told our guests that they were not registered in the system, even though I had a copy of the bookings in their names. The evening staff seemed generally uninterested in providing a good first impression, and it took too long to sort everything out. They even assumed we were a different group because we happened to be of the same ethnic background (no similarity in names) Secondly, the smell of the hallways were terrible and stale, as if the carpets always remained damp. The room was spacious but did not feel clean, despite looking like it had been serviced. When I went into the bathroom I found blood splatters in the bidet and on the shower wall. When I brought it to the staff attention the next day, they were very apologetic but they claimed it was dried soap. I cannot prove otherwise, but I really doubt it. The food made us feel sick both after dinner and after breakfast. There was something about the quality of it that just sat in your stomach like a brick. The coffee was a highlight though, and was actually really nice. Overall, I would never come back to this hotel which is unfortunate as it's well located and the rooms are spacious. So much potential but needs a good clean and an overhaul of the food.

Loved our stay here! Rooms were super clean and the service was superb. Also super close to the city center and train station and walkable everywhere. Would come back in a heart beat!

I recently stayed at your hotel again, and as always, it was a wonderful experience. This is not my first time here, and it certainly won’t be the last. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. I want to give special thanks to two members of your staff who made my stay even more enjoyable. Fabio was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and his professionalism truly stood out. I also want to highlight the blonde lady with glasses who was on shift today (27-11-2025 at around 3:30 PM). Unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was exceptionally kind and helpful. Both of them are a great credit to your team. Thank you once again for the excellent service. I look forward to my next stay!

This is a four-star hotel that almost feels like a five-star. It's modern. It's clean. It has a great design aesthetic and the room and bathroom sizes are big. The toiletries are of good quality too. It's about a 10-minute drive from the Duomo an area where you can find good places to eat and walk around.

Terrible experience. The jacuzzi was not working so we reserved the sauna, the key didn’t work so we had to go back to our room to call reception. They told us the key would work, but when I went back down, the second door was also locked. We had to call again and wait for a staff member to come. Inside, the sauna area is poorly organized: two showers, one with only shampoo and the other only shower gel, so you have to switch while showering. No clock to track time either. Very disappointing for a hotel of this standard.

This is always my go-to hotel in Milan — simply perfect in every way! It’s conveniently located near Garibaldi Station, the metro, and plenty of great restaurants. The staff are amazing — special thanks to Valentina and Kiara for their outstanding hospitality. If you want a stay with no regrets, choose this place!

The receptionist man who checked us in were super nice. We got upgraded to a junior suite, which was a breath taking room. The room service was super nice and the breakfast was amazing. It was delicous. The staff during breakfast were super helpful and kind. They even made some joke with us :) .
