Yesterday, I got the Cheeseburger at Mildred's Grill at Grandfather Mountain. The meal came with a drink, fries, and a pickle. The food itself got cold rather quickly, which was a disappointment. Taste-wise, it was standard. Nothing special, but not bad. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it for the price. If it was closer to $8/$9, I would recommend it. I just don't find it worth the value of the money. The restaurant itself had a friendly stuffed bear, Mildred with a chef hat, which was cute and good for photos. The lighting was decent. They're was seating both inside and outside. Outside, picnic tables. Indoors, tables with chairs. Not a lot of space to get through though. I had to maneuver around quite a bit with our stroller. High chairs and booster seats available. Wish that they didn't group so many tables together indoors.

I love Grandfather Mountain, but Mildred’s is like an airport restaurant. It’s the only place to eat on the mountain, and the combination of quality and pricing simply would not be viable without a captive audience. I’m still glad it’s here though.

It was a decent fast food place at the top of Grandfather Mountain. For the only place where food is available for Miles around here, it was a decent place and had Vegan/Vegetarian options. The cold drink had unlimited refills.

Wow! This is not like any other park restaurant. This place has REALLY GOOD FOOD! when I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich, I was hoping for something that was at least edible. What I got on my tray was one of the best sandwiches I'd had in a long time. The fries were crispy and tasty! It's always a rule of thumb to pack a picnic lunch at parks, but do yourself a favor and when at Grandfather, EAT AT MILDRED'S ❤️

Great place to eat at Grandfather Mountain. They have plenty of room and honestly the food was reasonably priced and served fast. I was sure I was going to have to drop $50 but only spent $35 for me, my wife, and a meal split by my two older kiddos including drinks. Check it out the next time you are at Grandfather Mountain.

Forget that you probably paid $25 per person to be able to get thru the Grandfather Mountain entrance just to visit Mildred's Grill. They have many choices and decent prices. Did I mention ice cream? I'm a sucker for the hot dog all the way! Don't miss it!
