Google
Worth every penny. The owner John was the goat. He knew his shit about the city and made it enjoyable. The electric bikes were a great addition for the 2.5 hour long tour. Never been to Colorado and this was the first thing me and my fam did and it was so fun. Not much history but what do I expect in the west. Def recommend to anyone.

Kiersten P.

Google
We basically saw the entire city on our tour! Our tour guide Chris was amazing, knew the history super well and brought us some really cool places we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. This tour was so worth it and a great way to see the city!

Leslie W.

Google
Wow! Wow! Wow! Ian was our guide and was a wealth of information! SO well done! He took us safely around Denver to see so many spots we read about online. This was such a fun way to see the city! I encourage anyone who wants to see it all in just a few hours to do the Downtown Tour! Fabulous experience!

Google
We had a fantastic experience with Mile High Bike Tours in Denver. Chris was an excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable about the city’s history and full of fascinating . The tour was well-planned, informative, and professionally run from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend it! It’s a great way to get to Denver.

Google
Great service. Booked for a full day but returned earlier than expected. Got rebooked for a half day and refunded without even asking. Phone holder, water, lock and helmet included. I would recommend to rent a bike here!

Google
"Denver Like Never Before with Mile High Bike Tours" Mile High Bike Tours offers a fresh lens to view Denver, and our guide Ricardo made the experience unforgettable. His deep knowledge of the city and its history was a revelation, even to us longtime residents. Ricardo's patience and reassurance put my bike-rusty partner completely at ease, making the ride enjoyable for all. The route was safe and scenic, particularly the Cherry Creek trail, and we enjoyed every moment without any issues. Our stop at First Draft for beers was the perfect touch to the outing, blending exercise with relaxation and good conversation. I wholeheartedly recommend Mile High Bike Tours for a unique, fun-filled exploration of Denver, thanks to Ricardo and the team. Can't wait for our next tour!

Toni K.

Google
Monique was our tour guide, and, boy, was she friendly, informative and so much fun to be around! She clearly was well-versed in bike safety and the sites and history of downtown Denver. I would recommend this bike tour to anyone that knows how to ride a bike! I hadn't ridden in probably 10 yrs, and I was able to keep up. There are a few long hauls up hill, but if you're fit enough to handle those few times do it. This was very enjoyable tour, and the weather was perfect in early August.

Julie W.

Google
We took the tour with some friends and it was an absolute blast! Hans was our guide and he was knowledgeable and fun. We've lived in Colorado for 19 years and we saw lots of things we've never seen before, and learned a lot too. At the end we stopped to have a well deserved beer. I would highly recommend this tour to locals and visitors alike!

Glen C.

Yelp
Just had a great bike tour of the city with our tour guide Chris. He was very informative and knows so much about the city. Great way to see most of Denver in a limited amount of time! So glad we did it!

Dagmar S.

Yelp
Our guide, John, was fantastic. He knows a lot about Denver and is a natural storyteller, which made each stop interesting and entertaining. Highly recommended for a way to see the hidden gems of Denver.

Yelp
Had the opportunity to book a tour with Mile High Bike Tours during my vacation in Denver. I have to say this was one of the highlights of my trip. My guide was Justin and he was fantastic. The tour goes for 2.5 hours and covers 9 miles but don't worry there are plenty of stops and the bike ride is at a nice pace. This is a wonderful way to see the cities major landmarks, historic sites, public buildings, sports stadiums, and the overall beautiful architecture of Denver. Overall this is as a great tour and I recommend anyone traveling to Denver or even locals to attend.

Yelp
Excellent tour. Our guide John was awesome. Very attentive. Really cool guy. Bikes were in good condition. Plenty of interesting information.

Yelp
We had an awesome time seeing the Denver sites by bike with our amazing tour guide Justin. We definitely recommend the tour for out of towners or locals. You will cover a lot of ground, while hearing about the history behind it, seeing some interesting attractions, and having fun fun fun!! Even stopped for a brewski at First Draft!!

Yelp
A great tour to take to get a layout of Denver. We biked around a lot of Denver and we marked down different spots to try out after we were done. My only complaint, the guide didn't wait until everyone on the large tour was at the meeting point to talk, so if you have a bike which had a problem shifting gears (like me) then I missed out on the beginning of the talks.

Yelp
My friend and I took the tour on Sunday from 10-12:30PM. It was a great tour. We had so much fun. The tour guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The owner of the company was there as well. He was super friendly. I will highly recommend you to use their service.

Yelp
Another city, and another bike tour. We love these - what better way to see a new city and figure out the best places to go? A walking tour will only get you so far and individual site tours, while detailed and informative, don't give you a good overall feel for the city. However, a 2-3 hour bike tour, encompassing 8-12 miles gets you almost everywhere you'd want to be with a brief overview so that you can decide if any one place is worth going back to. The always lovely Melissa Z and I headed to Denver for a weekend of exploring the city and hiking in the mountains. Normally, we'd prefer doing a bike tour on our first day, but that day was spend catching up with an old Tampa Yelp Elite friend - you have to prioritize, people, and friends come first. Therefore, we woke up early our second day and headed for our bike tour. Our tour guide, Karen, was very knowledgeable of the city and we knew she wasn't full of BS because if she didn't know something, she told us so. She kept us at a good pace, on safe streets or bike lanes, helped us get some awesome pictures, and helped us figure out places to come back to for exploring later. She also had the added benefit of being from Plainview, Long Island, where yours truly grew up. How weird is that? A resident of Saint Pete travels to Denver only to meet a tour guide from his hometown on Long Island...small world. If I had any complaints - and my name is Todd; I always have complaints - it was that I feel there were other places we could have gone to for exploring. For example, Denver has many statutes and fountains in the city that it would have been cool to get the background on from the tour guide. I know you're stuck for time and you have to prioritize, but I may have dropped one or two items and gone somewhere else. Not really much of a complaint as I enjoyed all of the info we got. The bikes they use are 3-speed with baskets or pouches and very comfortable. The group was small - only 8 of us, which our guide said was big, but we've been with bigger bike tour groups than that. Why am I going with 4 stars instead of 5 - I just think there might be more interesting places to see besides the performing arts center - which we'd find anyway if we wanted to see a show. Been on bike tours now in Denver, Austin, New Orleans, Chicago and I know I am forgetting others, and this one was good, but just not the best. Still, I would definitely recommend it if you want a good overview of the city with a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide.

Yelp
Awesome tour! Our tour guide was the best, the ride was informative and fun at the same time. We all had great conversations (the 2 of us, 2 other riders, and the guide) and learned a lot of cool stuff about the downtown area in Denver! We called the day of and asked if any rides were available and lucky for us one was at at 1pm. We paid over the phone for the tour and got a confirmation email. Even though the bike store where we met was closed for the day, the tour guide met us about 20mins before the tour at the shop. She had waters for us and fitted us for a bike. My bike had a basket in the front where I could put my bag. The other bikes had pouches in the front to store stuff as well. Once we were all ready we headed out on there road. There are lots of bike lanes around downtown that we used. I felt safe the entire time. We rode for about 2 hours, stopping at sights and for a bathroom break. Then we stopped at a small brewery at the end to wind down. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a good feel of the city and it's history.

Yelp
Great city ride that took in so much of Denver. Our tour guide did a fantastic job keeping the eight riders together and explaining all the sights, and the history behind them. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Rebecca Q.

Yelp
Monique was a wonderful tour guide of the mile high city. She was informative, friendly and positive. Our weather was perfect and biking the city provided the best way to get the history and see the sites. I would highly recommend this tour. We ended in RiNo at a brewery such a fun day!!!
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Highly recommend this tour! I enjoyed the ride through the city. It was fun, easy and informative! Our tour guide, Monique, was friendly and engaging! Don't hesitate booking this tour, you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Wonderful tour with Brock! Brock knows the city and its history so well. He told interesting stories along the way. The tour was the perfect length (2.5 hours). Perfect for those who want to get to see the city without a car!

Yelp
I take a lot of tours, every new city I got to I try and take a city tour. So on a recent trip to Denver the 1st thing I looked into was booking a city tour. After looking at the bus and walking tours the bike one seemed to be a nice even ground covered more than a walking but got you outside. It very flat and easy to ride a bike around in Denver. I did dislike the fact that to stop you peddle backwards, I normally peddle backwards on downhills and to adjust at red lights so this was rough for me but overall the bikes gave a smooth ride. The tour was pretty laid back and there was even a section of purely just riding on it. I possible would of like a little more information but maybe there wasn't more to tell. Overall I was satisfied with the tour but it wasn't anything above average. If your are looking to be outside and see the city this is the way to go.

Yelp
A great bicycle tour of downtown Denver. We were celebrating our 44th anniversary and what better way?! The route is flat, so anyone can participate. We saw all the downtown sites, plus the terrific bicycle infrastructure - protected bike lanes and off-road paths along the Cherry Creek Trail will delight. Our guide Monique answered all our questions and offered many possibilities for an anniversary cocktail!
google avatar

KJ L.

Yelp
Brock was an excellent tour guide ! Had family in town from Georgia and he custom made our tour to see the art spots in town. So friendly , great communication up front , and all around a great host . Will do another tour with him soon!

Karen D.

Yelp
Jace was terrific! My husband and I are relocating to Denver for work. It was a great way to get to know the city a bit and Jace did a great job answering questions!

Laura K.

Yelp
Super tour of downtown and nearby neighborhoods. Justin was a great guide, kept us safe and shared lots of history and context. Easy, easy biking - electric bike unnecessary even for my older parents.

Yelp
I planned a bike tour to entertain out of town wedding guests and acquaint them with Denver. Everyone that took the tour felt it was truly a highlight of the wedding weekend. Monique is a wonderful guide. The trip is fun, informative, safe and the bicycles were very easy to ride.

Kaydin D.

Yelp
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour with Monique! She was extremely kind and energetic. She was very considerate of my disabilities and ensuring I was having a good time throughout the ride. The ride was long but worth it. Plenty of stops and such good information throughout the ride. Definitely was a great experience.

Yelp
We experienced the Bike & Brew Tour the day we flew into Denver on a red-eye on possibly one of the hottest days I've experienced. Nevertheless, it was a very neat experience and I'm now a big fan of bike tours! Registration was a breeze; just called to book our party of 5 mere hours before the tour was beginning. When we got there, they had us outfitted for bikes (a little tough to find a miniature sized bike for an ultra petite gal like me) and we were on our way! We biked around the City for about two hours, stopping at all the main highlights/attractions in Denver for short history snippets from the tour guide and some extended breaks for water, restroom, and ice cream :). An inexperienced bike rider, I was a little nervous biking on the road next to vehicles, and sometimes people would give us glaring looks when we rode on the sidewalk...nonetheless, I still felt relatively safe since traffic wasn't bad and the tour kept us off the roads as much as possible. The tour led us to an awesome pub just a couple blocks from the start of the tour for some beer sampling (cost of drinks not included in tour price) before we stumbled our way back the few blocks to return our bikes. Just kidding. We didn't have much to drink, but safety first guys! Will definitely want to try the Twilight tour next time I'm in Denver, to avoid the heat!

Yelp
This tour was a fantastic way to see the city of Denver! Monique and Jeb were such good guides. My wife and I took the tour a few days into our 4 day trip and didn't realize how much of the city we didn't see in the first 2 days. I would recommend booking early in your trip, so you can get your bearings of the city and discover some places you may want to revisit while in Denver. I love discovering a city thru the eyes of a local. Thanks again, Monique and Jeb!!

Mary Ann N.

Yelp
My 83 yr old husband and I had a great time on this tour! It was so much fun and a wonderful way to see Denver. We are not bikers(and we're old!) but we were able to handle this tour. The bikes are easy to ride and the tour is flat with just one slight short incline. Our tour guide was very friendly and a wealth of interesting info on everything along the route. Water, rain jackets, sunscreen and optional helmets provided. All ages will enjoy this tour. We highly recommend this as a fun way to spend several hours in Denver. Hint: plan ahead at least a day or two because the tours book up.

Yelp
Hooray! For Roger and Monique! After a wonderful week at Estes Park with extended family, we had several hours to kill before our flight out of Denver airport. I called with only one days notice and Monique accommodated our family of five on a downtown Denver bike tour with Roger as our tour guide. Understanding that Covid had shut down a lot of business, we were grateful to be able to enjoy the city on a beautiful warm day, with literally almost no cars anywhere in sight due to virus and also protests in early June. Roger was engaging, fun, super helpful, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. It was very warm, he always made sure to get us in the shade when we stopped so he could give us some great tidbits about the history in the town, and we asked if there was somewhere we could get ice cream at the end and he took us to union station and we all enjoyed some sweets together. And all-around fantastic time!

Caitlin F.

Yelp
Loved this tour! Worth the money. Karen was an excellent tour guide! She was so knowledgeable about the city and a very enjoyable person to chat with. Great mix of city attractions and nature views. Highly recommend!!

C S.

Yelp
My wife and I took at some reviews and like many others provided high ratings. We can not say enough about how much fun we had. First the guide was very friendly and accommodating to all of the group. He provided Denver insight at appropriate times and made sure everyone could hear what he was saying. Second we covered a fare amount of what we were looking to see on the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Yelp
My husband and I booked this as our first thing to do in Denver and I'm so glad we did!!!! We were shown around the city and got to see many highlights that we later ended up doing! -Safe, informative, fun, easy for any athletic level, excellent tour guide! Our tour guide, Monique, was AWESOME!!! She had a loud voice and high energy level, perfect for a bike tour guide! She was very enthusiastic and had a lot of information about the city. We were able to stop at Union Station about halfway through for a little walking break and water bottle refill..much needed! And we got to stop at a dispensary and a beer after the tour! We met some awesome people and had a lot of fun! Highly recommend!!!!!
google avatar

Amie D.

Yelp
Brock was an awesome tour guide and I honestly have to say this was one of the coolest way to experience Denver. It was beautiful weather and the bike trails in the city are really nice. We learned a lot of history about Denver and fell in love with so much it has to offer. We are very happy with the tour company and the equipment provided. You won't regret it!
google avatar

Wiechmann C.

Yelp
First time on a bike tour. It was AWESOME !! It's not your typical follow me and stay in line stuff. It's lets get out here and explore !! Loved it and highly recommend it !!!!
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
Unreasonably accommodating at the last minute. Our family of five called first thing in the morning in hopes we might find some spots. Monique was amazing and opened up a tour for us. Another family joined us making a group of 13 people. Monique kept us safe and well directed. She had some great insights on downtown Denver and was great with everyone in the group. Our bikes were top notch. It was a great way to see Denver and good for all biking skill levels. Highly recommended.

Yelp
It's a great bike rental company. I was visting Denver and got a bike from Mile High Tours. They pointed me to the right direction, and went from the business location to the bike track in downtown. They also provided me with a complimentary water bottle and a lock for the bike. I liked the bike loaned (it was one of those with a brake within the pedals). Very convenient for city traffic (I own a mountain bike and it's a different mechanism when braking -- a brake in each handle). Moreover, their bike had 3 speeds, which was plenty for me, and helped save my legs in uphills. Plus, the attendant took the time to show me how the bike worked, answered my questions, and verified that the bike was functioning properly. All in all a great experience.
google avatar

Matt L.

Yelp
Great way to see Denver! Monique has a great attitude and makes it easy. She took us everywhere, is extremely knowledgeable about each stop, and is more than willing to take photos and answer any questions along the way. When riding, her clear signaling and sense of direction also goes a long way keeping any group together to smoothly navigate any traffic and pedestrians. This is the ideal way to spend an afternoon outside exploring the highlights of a great city.
google avatar

Suzy S.

Yelp
We took this bike tour the first day we arrived in Denver. It was a perfect way to start off the trip and learn about the City. Brock was a fun and informative tour guide. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone coming to visi Denver
google avatar

T. P.

Yelp
Great deal. Super friendly. Charged less than quoted. Had a blast Note I went last summer and this was sitting as a draft but believe it is the same owners. Only way it could have been better is if there was a motor!
google avatar

Keri P.

Yelp
Our city tour lasted about 2.5 hours which we felt was about 30-45 minutes too long. The sights were somewhat spread out. Monique was energetic and sweet but unscripted so it felt like we got less information about the city than what we would have liked.
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
We were visiting Denver from Austin and looking for a fun and easy way to see the city so I booked the Bike & Brew tour my myself and my husband. The booking process was a breeze. The guys who work at the bike shop where the tour departs were really friendly. Monique the owner and mompreneur extraordinaire was our guide. Her love of her job and passion for it was evident from the moment we met her. Helmets were provided though optional along with water and raincoats (forecasted but never rained). The city was easy to maneuver through on a Saturday afternoon. The bikes were very comfortable to ride and easy to adjust. Loved the stop at the end for some beer tasting and visiting with Monique and our other tour companion! Highly recommended, A++

Yelp
Great ride! My daughter and I did the "Beer Tour" which tasted great after a 2.5 hour bike ride. The tour was informative, the art district (my first time) was unusual and interesting. The Union Station stop provided us with historic information on a still busy mode of travel and the refreshments available there were welcome.

Meredith M.

Yelp
During the planning of my trip to Denver, my bestie and I were looking for an activity to do after we landed in Denver in order to help us to adjust to the time difference and keep us moving after our early morning East Coast flight. I am so happy I stumbled across Mile High Bike Tours. The tour was very intimate and it was an amazing way to see the city. When we arrived we were provided with a cute bike (comfy seat) with a basket for our belongings, bottles of water and helmet (optional). I was nervous about riding the bike across the city, but once we got started I felt very safe. Great majority of the tour utilized the many bike lanes and the cars/trucks were very respectful of us. Our tour guide was energetic and very informative (not just the sights, but restaurants, bars and activities to do). She took us all across the city and explained the different sights. We were also treated to a bonus back alley tour of all the graffiti art. The next time I am in Denver, I would TOTALLY take the tour again.
google avatar

Lori H.

Yelp
A great way to see a city. We enjoyed the 10 mile City Tour, which took about 2.5 hours. Our tour guide, Monique, was terrific in leading the 10 person group through the city streets, bike lanes and also a nice stretch on a bike path along the water. We did the tour on our first day in Denver and it gave us a great overview of the city. Would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
My husband and I had a last-minute trip to Denver and were looking for a fun (and somewhat active) way to spend an afternoon in the city. I am so thrilled that we found Mile High Bike Tours! We joined up for the "Bike & Brew" tour and had a fantastic afternoon biking around parts of the city that we might not otherwise have had time to get to on foot.
google avatar

Debbie C.

Yelp
What a great tour! I'm a beginner/moderate rider and I had absolutely no prob with the ride itself. We do bike tours everywhere we go and this was one of my favorite!

Donna K.

Yelp
I took my staff to the American Dental Association meeting in Denver and we signed up for the Mile high Bike Tour. It was fabulous. We all had a great time. Monique was spectacular. I would highly recommend this tour. Denver is bike friendly and the street art was a bonus.
google avatar

Alyssa G.

Yelp
We rented two bikes for the weekend. Comfy, well maintained bikes with baskets, helmets, and locks. Super friendly service!
google avatar

Bill S.

Yelp
Roger is a great Midwesterner who made his way to CO and is a great tour guide and guy! Highly recommended!
google avatar

Anthony M.

Yelp
We loved this bike ride! We are new to Denver and saw so much! It's smooth and fairly easy. We had Monique as our guide and she was a sweetheart! I recommend the twilight tour! Left at 7 and were back before 9!

Stacy M.

Yelp
Karen was our guide. She did a nice job explaining sites and trying to personalize things for us.(Also helped me find a parking place when all easy to find spots were taken after new parking restrictions in the neighborhood lot has just gone into effect!) It was a super hot day, but the pace and stops were such that we didn't "suffer." Even the reluctant teenager enjoyed the ride.
google avatar

Kate G.

Yelp
Nice bikes, not a strenuous ride, covers scenic highlights with interesting information - would highly recommend! Great way to efficiently and actively get to learn more about the city!
google avatar

Judy C.

Yelp
Friendly and knowledgeable guide. Great introduction to the sites of Denver

Liz E.

Yelp
This tour was a fantastic way to see Denver! I'm not an avid bike rider and was pretty nervous for this tour but definitely was able if you are at an easy to intermediate level!! Bike lanes and trails the entire tour. Plus the beer at the end of the bike and brews was definitely well deserved after a 2 1/2 hr ride! Brock was a great tour guide, making sure everyone was following along. Had a lot of insider knowledge of the city, good for first timers.
