"Created by Chuck Rozanski, this gigantic warehouse is a pop culture, media, and of course, comic book paradise. Inside, around 45,000 square feet are filled with nearly 10 million comics, as well as toys and other memorabilia. It’s believed to be the largest comic book store in the country. Rozanski began collecting comics in the 1960s and never lost the passion as he got older. During the 1980s, he was one of the first people to advertise back-issues of comics for sale in the back of Marvel Comics. That business would eventually become a very lucrative one, allowing Rozanski to purchase the warehouse. Colorado also presents the perfect climate for comic book storage. Items inside this mega store can range from $1 to well over $20,000. Mile High Comics also hosts various events such as conventions and even drag shows, it’s a very diverse space. Upstairs is the true hidden gem of the store, Rozanski created a small exhibit dedicated to his collection of Native American art." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

15 Quirky Places to Visit on Your Next Colorado Family Road Trip

Google
A cool place to visit and see things nostalgic and otherwise. If the plan is to shop there, make sure you are informed of the actual value of things. There's the enticement of the sales like 50% off. Its hard to justify when after the percent off, a book is still a significant amount higher than actual value of a book (included examples in pics of a couple). There is a lot of great product with what looks like a bunch of inventory elsewhere. I would of spent a lot of money there if the majority of price were more feasible. I ended up spending about 2 bucks on one book I found that I could justify picking up for the price. I would score higher if the prices were more reasonable. Staff was friendly enough and enjoyed walking around, but wouldn't make it my go to for filling holes in the collection.

Google
I have no idea how this plays has the rating they have. Don’t get me wrong. Staff was nice. Well mostly. But my god there prices are idiotic. No real collector would pay there prices for anything. Everything was over priced by X4. At a minimum. A giant waist of time to go there. They had books that sell for a dollar at any other store. They were selling them for 12-80 dollars. When asked to look up the real price of the book they say. Sorry that’s the best we can do. I went planning to spend a lot to get a few high end books. But no way I’m paying those prices. I think whoever prices there books need to learn how to look up eBay sold prices.

Google
Huge. And it can be a bit overwhelming with the amount of stuff they have. Wish it was a bit more organized and prices a bit cheaper (but that’s no surprise with this place). Wasn’t sure how safe the outside area was. Seemed a little sketchy, but overall a good experience.

Google
I simply cannot over state how amazingly awesome this place is. More than just comic books, they have every genre of character you can imagine. I really loved the atmosphere and helpful employees. I was here for hours and will be back!

Elizabeth Romero

Google
I went here today with my brother, I found a ton of things you wouldn’t find in any other stores! If your a my hero fan like me, and can’t find any manga or figures, this is the right place for you! I loved seeing all the figurines that were on sale. Even though certain figures were expensive, it was reasonable! They had a large/medium replica of Batman’s Batmobile as well that was for sale! When I tell you, I wanted to waste my brothers money on it! They also had many other things, comics, funko pops, manga, smurfs, five nights at Freddy’s, Star Wars, Domo, Pokémon, etc! Genuinely recommend visiting! I’m glad to be able to visit Americas largest comic dealer! Definitely going to visit again! Got 3 mangas and my brother got a comic book, reasonable pricing as well! I didn’t take many photos but I did take photos of things I found that was very exciting to find!

Google
This place is a nerds paradise. From comics, to cards, to figurines, this place has it all. It is a little overpriced on some items, but the selection can't be beat. The staff was friendly AND they have a store cat. There is really some unique stuff in this wonderful, huge store. Check it out for yourself, I'm not sure why I waited so long.

Mike Roudebush

Google
Great store for hard to find items. Very knowledgeable staff. Could spend hours if you browse through everything.

Sam Turner

Google
This place is Nerd-vana!! I mean that in a good way! As a comic collector, visiting Mile High comics has been a bucket list item for me. So I had big expectations going into my visit. It’s pretty remarkable that this place even exists, and the shear amount of stuff in the store is really mind-boggling. You really have to see this place to believe it, and so I would recommend to every kind of collector to pay it a visit if you have a chance. If you’re looking for it, there’s a good chance that they have it or can probably get it. While this place may be the largest or biggest store of its kind, it’s certainly not the “best” comic/collectible shop that I, or I dare say that you, will ever set foot in. There’s some things that keep me from rating it five stars despite all its uniqueness. The location is not in the best part of town, which I knew going in, and therefore didn’t have a big problem with. And, the feel and atmosphere inside of the shop is a little grungy, unpolished, and a bit rough around the edges..perhaps due in part to the warehouse locale itself. To be fair, that “feel” is not entirely unusual when it comes to shops of this sort. However, I was definitely disappointed that the sales staff that I experienced was not friendly at all. No one really greeted or spoke to me unprompted, was even slightly friendly upon interaction, or smiled — even at checkout. As a determined collector, that isn’t going to deter me a bit, but it is worth noting. More dissapointing was that their prices on their back issue comics are simply outrageous. They didn’t even reflect reality in the current marketplace. I don’t know if they are not really motivated to sell these books and don’t want to turn over inventory for whatever reason, but there were books that were overpriced to the point of being ridiculous. I realize that a lot of shops will price a book and never reprice them again, which I’m generally cool with, as it often works out in the favor of the buyer. But I saw prices that could never have been accurate. Again, this is a phenomenon that you do see in other shops. That said, during my visit they did have a big section of books that were $3.95 each, with a further discount based upon the amount of books you bought. (I did not see any $1 bins but I could have missed them.) So I did end up finding 3 nice key books for under market value which I appreciated. However, it took quite a bit of digging to find those few books, so it was a challenge. Lastly, despite the huge inventory, I still had trouble finding lots of key books or issues that I would expect to see in stock from the world’s largest comic book dealer. Again, I want to be very clear that this place is a genuine MARVEL, and I would gladly return. I would just caution collectors to temper they’re expectations somewhat and remember that bigger doesn’t always mean better. But by all means, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Here's a Dear Mile High Comics Team, I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the unforgettable experience I had at your store. My dad and I have struggled to bond over the years, and we haven't always seen eye to eye. However, the surprise visit from Lou Ferrigno truly brought us closer together. During that time, my dad shared stories about his childhood, which made me realize the true essence of growing up--creating memories together through comic books. Thank you for providing such a special moment for us! Warm regards, Just a fellow nerd.

Yelp
Unfortunately, poor customer service seems to be the norm here. Every time I visit, I'm met with zero acknowledgment. The employees are usually tucked behind the large counter, glued to their screens, rather than greeting customers or offering assistance. When I do manage to get someone's attention, it's not much better. On my latest visit, I asked about a specific character figure, and instead of checking a system or offering alternatives, the employee just pointed me to a small section and said they didn't have it. That was the extent of the help--thanks for nothing. I only stop by if I happen to be in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way--certainly not a 30-minute drive--to be treated like this. They earn two stars solely for the variety of items they carry. Hopefully, other customers have better luck with the staff, or at the very least, can find what they need on their own like I've had to do multiple times. It also says a lot about the owner as they don't acknowledge reviews whether positive or negative.

Casey D.

Yelp
Huge!! What a large, fun place!! You can find items from $5 to $10,000. I saw a lot of new and vintage items. Had fun focusing on old Transformers, He-Man, and Star Trek. Feels like going to a miniature Comic Con.

Michelle S.

Yelp
Really fun way to spend a couple hours! There's so much to see and the place is huge. Staff is also super friendly. Definitely visiting again for the cat alone.

Julia B.

Yelp
5/3/25-A massive comic and collectibles store. This is a place where you can find something for nearly every type of collector. They also support diversity in the community. Some prices are a little high so only buy if you are sure of the value of the item you are getting. They do have bathrooms. I've always had good service even when they are busy, like on Free Comic Book Day.

Deirdre M.

Yelp
What an experience! Huge space filled with comics from 1933 to present day; graphic novels; all sorts of collectibles; and more! GI Joes; Star Wars; Star Trek; Movie posters; it goes on and on! We added it as a stop on our Denver Adventure Bike Day Camp! No bike parking but they did allow us to bring one of our bikes inside. A great find in Denver! Worth the trip!

Linda J.

Yelp
Like what they had and is huge!! Service was good as well and they had WWE things. Their Value was great. And the Selection of things was good as well. Btw they had Sonny angels!!!!!

R Sean W.

Yelp
Incredible selection. Friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. This place is everything you could want in a comic book store. I can't recommend it enough.

Matt D.

Yelp
DENVER - Growing up as a comics-reading Gen X kid in Ohio, Mike High Comics entranced me, with its ubiquitous ads in Marvel and DC books, listing items for sale in teeny tiny type, catalog-style. It must be the size of a warehouse, I thought. In fact, it is. Walk in, it's sensory overload with so much merch and memorabilia to gawk at. Prices for back issues are so-so. MHC tees are on back order (unless you wear 4 XL, which are plentifully available). But just as an experience, this place is amazing in its bigness. One could easily spend an hour plus there, wandering. . Staffers were universally friendly and helpful. Bought two tpbs at cover price, largely because I'm at MHC, of course I have to buy *sonething.*

Spencer D.

Yelp
What a disappointment! Everything is INSANELY OVERPRICED! $15 books with $120 price tags. That's high even for 2021 pricing! CHECK ON EBAY BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING. You can buy a slabbed 9.8CGC for a cheaper price with shipping than they are selling raw. Everything is extremely unorganized as well. It's like being at a flee market sale with only the bad items left. The employees aren't experts by any means either. What is the point in having the worlds largest comic book store if it's filled with overpriced undesirables. Mile High Comics is the worst comic book store I've ever been to and I've been to every comic book store in California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, and New York.

Cassandra F.

Yelp
Amazing collection of comics, collectibles, and card games. A bit disorganized in places if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. And the older comics are priced very high. Super fun to just look around at the collection if nothing else.

Crystal R.

Yelp
Walking in here you are shown that it's a safe place where everyone is welcome and I love that. My husband and I spent a while just walking around and looking at this amazing place. We will come back when we have more time to look at it all. The place is huge and there's so many collectibles big and small old and new along with comic books and other things. People here were very kind and helpful and I was just blown away by how big the place was. They have so much to offer here! Please go check out this super cool place.

Jake C.

Yelp
Like many others, I could spend many, many more hours here. As it is, I was here for 3 hours and barely scratched the surface during a recenr visit to Denver. It is easy to tell when you've arrived. It is in a lower end business kind of area, but the building is huge and it has enormous murals of comic books on the outside of it. You enter through a red door and enter Narnia... er, Mile High Comics. Not surprising, there are a lot of comics here. They have some that are out to look through yourself. What you see isn't even all of it. Below the rows and rows of long boxes chock full of issues are more boxes in the cabinets underneath. What are in those? I have no idea. Suffice to say, if you are hunting for issues, you've reached the place to look. Staff waa friendly and ensured we knew the special they were running (issues with certain colored price tags were 60% off of that price), plus they pointed out some lesser expensive bins and a few other things to note. I wandered around for an hour trying to hunt for specific issues. I couldn't find all of them, but when I couldn't fins them, I checked their site. If it waa on their site, I could ring a bell and get someone to look through the motherload of all comic backstocks to pull it for me. Their inventory is pretty spot on. If you aren't interested in comics, they have everything else as well. Action figures, plush toys, collectibles, pokemon, cards, games, figurines, the list goes on and on. In 3 hours, I walked through most of it quickly, but only saw about 20% of everything there. Now, some of the prices on books canbe pretty high. I need a few Silver Surfer issues to finish my run and all they have are Mint Condition versions and they want over $100 a pop for those. Unless they were signed by the real life Silver Surfer, herald to Galactus, they aren't worth that much. Pretty decent copies of them are a fraction online, so you have to do some searching. That being said, some of the expensive issues werw offset by the 60% off for having the right colored price tag. You won't be able to get those deals online and must visit in person. The check out was super fast and I paid a couple bucks to have them box up my issues so I could put them in my suitcase for travel. They arrived home safe and sound. This place is a mecca for all things Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, GI Joe, Star Trek, Monster, Power Ranger, Dragon Ball Z, and on and on. You need half a day to have a shot at looking through the majority of it. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This place was on my bucket list and it did not disappoint. I hope I can make it back to Denver to come back again!

Christian M.

Yelp
Huge store with huge selection with everything marked up to ten times the value. A variant cover book that is $30 is $150 in Mile High Comics. A funko figure that is worth $3 in eBay, $20 in Mile High. I really wanted to get stuff but hell no, mark up is too high, totally ruins any collectors value you may hope to attain. Hard pass.

Lauren H.

Yelp
I could spend hours in this place. They have more comic books than one could fathom. Memorabilia and collectibles everywhere. Thousand to hundred thousand dollar comics. You could spend hours in here looking at everything.

David R.

Yelp
This is a fun and cool place to visit, regardless of if you're into comics or not; with that being said, I wouldn't recommend spending any money here: I've visited Mile High Comics several times these past couple of years ... and I've yet to have a single positive experience with their staff. Don't bother asking anyone a question, or for any assistance, because they'll just glare at you like you're bothering them and give you curt, lazy responses. For example ... I once asked an employee if they happened to have a trade paperback copy of "X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills" in stock. The employee glared at me like he didn't know what I was talking about (which I thought was a little ... odd for someone who worked in a comic book store) and just grumbled: "If we had it, it'd be back there..." Another time, I actually found a couple of things I wanted and went to check out ... only to find I'd brought the wrong credit card. I was so embarrassed and politely informed the employee who'd ringed me up that the purchase was going to have to be cancelled. Obviously, I wasn't expecting her to give them to me for free or let me go put them back myself ... but I also didn't expect her to roll her eyes at me and hiss "Whatever..." before walking away. I get it; working in customer service can be an absolute nightmare and everyone has their bad days ... but when I have that experience EVERY time I visit, I start to feel like they don't want my business and I need to go somewhere else... Everyone and their grandmother seems to have mentioned this, but everything in this store is ludicrously overpriced. I get that Mile High is a small business and likely can't afford to sell everything at Amazon rates ... but they are out of their minds if they think I'm gonna pay $40+ for something I can find for less than $20 from another comic seller on eBay... I wish I had more positive things to say. I remember walking in there for the first time and feeling my nerdy, superhero-loving heart burst with joy ... but I've just had it with this place and I don't think I'll be returning...

Paul S.

Yelp
The First word that came to mind when walking into this place was HOLY S&^#@% This place is absolutely MASSIVE. I'm not understating that at all. This is like Costco for Nerds! They have EVERYTHING. Comics,Funkos,Action Figures, statues. Honestly there is no limit to what they have. If you can't find what you like to collect here you won't find it anywhere. I particularly loved how they organized specific shows or comics into sections, I am a star trek/Star Wars fan and they had some AMAZING collectibles for sale I have never seen before. Pricing: As expected most things are priced at or around Ebay value, so i wouldn't say finding a deal is easy. But if you have something that's hard to find good chance they will have it or can get it. Overall: A worthwhile stop if you have any interest in anything collectible

Olivia S.

Yelp
Awesome place. You could easily lose hours in here. So many types of comics and collectibles. The staff was very friendly but also leave you to browse this huge store. Recommend to anyone who loves movies for sure.

Carolina H.

Yelp
I work with individuals who have developmental disabilities. We stopped in today with a group of 8 and we could immediately feel that the staff was bothered that we were there. At one point, we were standing in front of the display case looking around when an employee harshly approached us and told us that we needed to spread out. When we explained that we were looking at the items in the display case he replied "well do you need help?" And we said no, he then rudely said "oh, okay then." Very rude encounters here today. Our group honestly felt discriminated against.

Bart B.

Yelp
Service, selection were good. They could have had more free comics available than 4. At home at Metro Comics, it's all the free comics you want. Small store big value vs biggest store less value. I hope you stopped at other comic stores

Crystal G.

Yelp
OK coming to Denver Colorado let me to list the things that I like the best. I can't say the first one because it's a little personal. The second one is definitely the comic book store ! Honestly come here early there's snacks and drinks don't worry you're gonna be in there for a long time. Sweetest little cat greets you right at the front. Staff was super helpful. Biggest warehouse right next to the train tracks. You can see it right off the freeway too. Let me show you some of my favorite things

E P.

Yelp
What can one say about this place. It's organized and chaotic in the best way possible. An icon in comics for sure. Noah (hope i spelled it right) was a lot of help. Going into the stock for any book I wanted and hooked me up with some deals. I would have loved to spend all day there. Thanks for the books and help.

Brad S.

Yelp
Nostalgia wise, coming here was like a pilgrimage. Growing up reading comics and seeing the Mile High Comics ads made me want to come visit the almost mythical comic shop of dreams. Well it is mythical because as far as comic shops, I would not actually be a regular customer here. The size is impressive but thats about it. Oh also the resident cat is the most charming being there. I asked one of the floor people the pricing on one of the books way up high on the wall, he basically told me to check the website. They have the lesser valued books in boxes throughout the store, some along the sidewall and some in the middle on tables. You have to use their rather outdated website to check the inventory and if you cant find one in those boxes on the floor you have to go to the counter and ring the bell for service. There was a Spiderman issue I was looking for that said they had it, so I rang the bell and the girl, so enthusiastically lol, offered to help. She said she can go pull it, but only if I'm buying it. I said I need to look at the condition first. Yadda yadda yadda she brings the book. Sure enough condition was not near mint and I walked away. I'm glad to have made the pilgrimage with my son, pulled a couple of books on my list, got to see some cool books in the display cases and saw the life size X-Wing (looks like its on its last legs), but that's the only time i'll ever go.

Justine A.

Yelp
I love this place. A wonderful warehouse of all kinds of collectibles, comics, panels, and art. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they're extremely well stocked. Definitely recommend calling ahead if you're looking for current issues -- they can run out fast!

Richard N.

Yelp
After visiting this place for the first time ever last week I gotta say it was a disaster. They had all of their key books in display cases catching a nice fiery tan from the fluorescent lights inside the cases. Sure the prices were outrageous but so was the way they stored their comics. Unbelievable that nonone in the store sees what I saw in these cases. Tons of great books faded beyond repair. It was just awful. Stay away or at the very least, don't buy any of their display case books.

Matt D.

Yelp
First time visiting after hearing a lot of hype. All I'm going to say is that the staff was incredibly rude and aggressively mean. One woman in particular had zero patience for our small group of well-behaved high school students. From the moment we walked in until we left she did nothing but follow us around barking harassments at us. We finally left because of her. No wonder teens have negative views of "adults" like her.

Joshua R.

Yelp
Chuck I hope your reading this. Comic books are were a huge part of my life. I remember those mile high ads back in the day. And I remember asking my grandfather to order me some books. They seemed to take forever to arrive. I remember asking my grandfather to call and he did. I sometimes wonder if my grandfather was talking to chuck. They told us the books are the on the way. They eventually arrived and it made my week. To have some fresh books and too escape for a little bit. Fast forward to 2020 and the world has changed. There's a news story about a garage sale in the Bronx that specializes in comic books. I decide to visit just to get out the house. I pick up a few books. I get home and start reading them, and instantly I forget how messed up the world is. I see one of those mile high ads in the one of the books I purchased. I head to there website and purchase a few books. Well the order took longer then expected, I ended up calling mile high to check the status of my order. Just like my grandfather did when I was kid. The person I spoke to told me there on the way. Super polite guy btw. So I waited and waited. Then I got the package. I have been having a rough time at work and covid is always in the back of my mind. That package of books made me forget all of that, even if just for a few moments. I want to say thank you Chuck for all that you do. One my biggest regrets is not visiting your warehouse when I lived in Denver.

Mark G.

Yelp
This is an absolute TREASURE not only only of Colorado, but of the United States. I used to see the ads for this store in my comics of the 80's and 90's. Now that I live here and have so much easy access to it, I am in awe and gratitude of living so close! It has EVERYTHING you can dream of in terms of a comic book universe. You will relive aspects of your childhood here and uncover even more wonderful parts of your imagination inside the magic of Mile High Comics!

Niki H.

Yelp
I was running around LoDo looking for last-minute Christmas gifts and MHC was my last stop. When I entered the MHC address into Google Maps, it informed me that I only had 10 more minutes until it closed. I called them in a panic practically begging them to stay open for me. They told me it was no problem and to stop by! I'll have you know I took every extra effort to get there quickly. I understand that someone people want to get home and I didn't want to take advantage of them staying an extra few minutes due to my stupid time management skills. I got there and told them exactly what I needed. One guy helped me find it and I was in and out in about 5 minutes. NICEST people. BEST store. TONS of good shit there for a GREAT price. This is officially the only comic book store I will go to from now on. Thank you for being awesome!!!!

Rich S.

Yelp
I contacted them about selling my collection and they said they didn't give the first price. Sent them a list back with my prices only to be told they had 5 of one particular book and couldn't meet my asking price (didn't mention any interest in any other books, roughly 200 from the 60s-90s). Okay, fine. You don't want my books at that price. However, the condescending tone used in the email from whoever "Pam" is was ridiculously rude. I was just trying to clarify whether they had an interest in any other books or was my asking price just too high....it's sad that a company name that was such a big part of my comic childhood experience has such rotten customer service.

Steven W.

Yelp
Placed orders online weeks ago and nothing has been done from the business end as far as pulling or processing my orders. Three and a half weeks and nothing. This company seems to be one giant ego stroke for the owner and nothing else. They can't process online orders but they can send out nonstop newsletters that the owner uses to fellate himself. Don't waste your time with this business.

Jake T.

Yelp
Great place set up with a lot of variety and selection. Lots to choose from in comics, tons of Funko pops to browse, and a bunch more things people can browse

Kenneth F.

Yelp
I have ordered three times. And all of those times the main comic I ordered was not there but they tried sending the rest of the order, you know the stuff that was after thoughts to go with the real book you want. This has happened three times now. I mean do you have the books or do you not???? Anyways they don't tell you the bad news until it's to late to cancel. They don't answer the phones or emails so do I have to call my bank and have them get my money back?

David B.

Yelp
'Overwhelming' is a great way to describe Mile High Comics, especially if you're unfamiliar with comic book geekdom, but well worth the effort for anyone hoping to find that elusive missing issue or a collectible you didn't realize you needed. My exposure to MHC was limited to San Diego Comic-Con until I had the chance to put my nerd boots in the ground during a recent trip to Denver. I appreciate how much effort must have gone into accumulating so much popular media stuff under one ginormous roof. Nevertheless, it would be nice if the employees made an effort to better organize and present their wares; the prices can be outrageous and it's hard to justify paying them when the goods are crammed together in a dusty shelf. If you're a comic book nerd, you're sure to find something you want, but you should be sure to bring your wallet, fat with cash.

Yelp
There were too many negatives to post on one review so I'll just stick with the price gouging. $50 books on sale for $200, statues that retail for $125 broken with no box on sale for $500.....mind blowing!!!

Yelp
I can't say I'm a big comic book person... I maybe had 3 of my own as a kiddo because my older brother had some. But because our guests love comics and we had wanted to check out Mile High Comics... why not? This place is huge and has SO many options. The one thing our guests shared is they loved the selection but thought the pricing was high.

Yelp
This is the place to visit if you have any type of collectibles, or just want to see what a $100,000 comic book looks like

Yelp
This is the largest comic book store I have personally seen in a decade. The warehouse space is full of comics and memorabilia to fulfill every collectors fancy. Would give five stars, but the prices were fairly high in comparison with local competitors.

Yelp
I have been to this location several times and they have great merchandise however, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. No one is of any help here. You ask a question, you get a curt one word answer, you inquire about an item, it continues the same. The eye rolls and deep sighs make you feel more unwelcome to the highest degree. I work in the customer service industry and almost every staff member seems bothered to the point that despite the great selections, it makes you not want to stop in and shop.

Yelp
When I was just a teenager, back in about 1973, I had a sizeable collection of Marvel and DC comics. Chuck Rozanski came to my house and gave me, as I recall, two cents for the DC and three cents each for the Marvel comics. After he bought the comics from me, he gloated about what a good deal he had made. I felt ripped off. Yes, this was a long time ago. We were both 18 years old. Kids make mistakes. But this has stuck with me for all these years. If Chuck Rozanski has turned into a wonderful and fair person, then I hope he will forgive me for my negative review.

Yelp
Customer Service is awful. Large selection but prices are on the high side. The store on hot days is miserable.

Yelp
Both my husband and daughter are comic book fanatics so of course we had to stop at Mile High Comics during our vacation in Colorado. The size of this store can only be described as enormous. The trade paperbacks are sorted alphabetically so it's easy to find whatever you're looking for. They also have an incredible selection of paraphernalia of all genres including figurines, legos, and so much more! My daughter couldn't find a couple of comics on the floor so we asked an employee for help. While she was friendly enough, she did say that she could only bring the items from the back if we purchased them. That was slightly annoying because she just wanted to check them out. We ended up buying them but felt pressured because of that store policy. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed it here and will definitely come back the next time we are in Denver.

Yelp
I have been visiting Mile High Comics for well over a decade and today was the last time I will set foot in one of their stores. Post pandemic, I set aside a few bucks more than usual to spend at the Mega Store today. I planned repairs on my car near there so I couod ride my bikenfrom the shop to the Megastore and it would give me a solid hour to shop. Upon arriving I asked if I could lock my bike up. "As long as it's not too long" was all Lisa could muster between yawms and walking past me. No greeting A few minutes later I was barked at for my mask sliding down. No nice reminder or pleasant request. Just - "YOU NEED TO PUT YOUR MASK BACK ON IN HERE!" I saw I was the only one in the store, a chance to talk comics with the pros.... Do you have this!? No How have things been going? Okay You guys have sodas? Points to cooler, I over and grab one to find its room temp, so I mention it to Lisa "hey these are warm, any cold ones?" Lisa - "Yeah there warm, that's what the sign says" Never once was I greeted, offered assistance, engaged, or even looked at. There are too many other options, don't waste your time getting the same treatment.

Yelp
This place changed my life. Most unbelievable selection of comics, memorabilia, random oddities, kind staff. Turned me onto so many new comics that I wouldnt have seen otherwise. I would go back to Denver just to visit Mile High Comics again

Yelp
I have been a MHC customer for probably twenty years but only shop there when I can't find what I need elsewhere for cheaper. Their website is not user friendly and has barely been updated in years. Almost every order is either missing a comic, a comic is mislabeled resulting in unwanted purchases, a comic is nowhere near the stated grade (marked near mint, but have noteable damage like torn pages) or all of the above.

Yelp
Whatever your looking for in the comic book world, chances are you'll find it here. Very reputable business, great staff, store is a bit crowded, they've got a bunch of stuff, but it is clean. It's worth going in and see what they have.

Yelp

Yelp
Generally speaking they provide fast secure shipping but lately there discount codes are worthless. They seem to be price gauging to the extreme. Example: secret wars issue 1 sells for 375 dollars! So what good is a 60% discount. You can just buy the same comic book at CGC graded 9.8 for $144 on ebay. So sad Mile High has resorted to this...

Yelp
I gave this place a bad review but it was based on incorrect info. They aren't that bad. My apologies.
