Probably one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in 2 years of travel. The owner is next-level kind — TOP 1 in friendliness! The most friendly hostel owner I’ve met. She makes you feel like you are her favorite celebrity. Legit breakfast with fresh local cheese, veggies and real bread enough to feed a village. French presses of coffee too. And there's a fridge-curious cat. She sneaks her face into the fridge 🐱 Cute warning Plenty of showers and toilets, curtains on beds for privacy. A few spots for parking for someone with a car. Extra 5 euros for parking. Plenty of seating areas. 2 hammocks.

This hostel is honestly the greatest we have been to in Albania. We stayed our first few nights in the country here, and after 2 weeks of traveling around the country we went back for a last evening to say goodbye because we loved it here so much. The staff and volunteers are friendly and super helpful! We immediately felt incredibly welcome. The raki is also the best we’ve had! One of the staff members even went out at night to get us a bottle to take home! All together, great hostel that will make you feel safe and welcome. Thank you Milingona!

The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is great! We had booked a 12-bed mixed dorm, but we didn’t really like it. One of the owners spontaneously offered us a 6-bed room with AC instead, which we really appreciated. Great experience — thank you!!

Unfortunately, my stay here was disappointing. The room was not clean, the bathroom was in poor condition, and the overall atmosphere was not inviting. It seems like regular upkeep and attention to cleanliness are no longer a priority. A particularly frustrating experience was breakfast. We arrived on time, as we had plans to head into the mountains early, but breakfast was not ready yet. We politely took just a small bite – not to interfere with the guy to finish the setup. However, when we returned a bit later, we were told we couldn’t have anything else so that the other guests would still get their share. To be clear, we’re talking about toast and egg. From older reviews and photos, I had the impression that this hostel used to be much better. Maybe it once had a different standard, but sadly, that no longer seems to be the case. Great location and garden, but that alone isn’t enough. I hope the management takes steps to bring the place back to the level it may once have had. Positive: they helped with pickup from the airport.

The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our room had bed bugs. While we did get a refund the manager told us 'you should be careful where you stay' and implied that we had brought the bed bugs to the room! Given that none of us had had a single bite until we got into bed that night, I call BS. Also, if you read some of the other low star reviews here you will see that other people had also had bed bugs. Avoid this place!

The property is located far outside the city, Upon entering the room, I was met with the intolerable noise of a broken air conditioner. The room was filled with a heavy, damp, musty odor, making it nearly impossible to breathe and creating an environment unfit for accommodation. Remaining there any longer would have posed a risk. Despite having a free cancellation option and the right to be charged only for the first night, I was pressured to cancel my reservation myself. I was later informed that no refund had been issued via Booking.com. Days later, the property unilaterally canceled my reservation. Such behavior is not only misleading but completely unacceptable. Charging for nights in which no stay was made is unfair and shows a total lack of integrity. The property's actions were dishonest, broke any sense of trust, and made it clear that this is absolutely a misleading and unsafe place to stay. Because of this experience, I find this establishment completely unreliable and would strongly warn others against booking here.

The most amazing hostel ever, and I have stayed in loads over many years! Staff feel like a family and treat you like one also. Fresh beers, homemade Raki and free breakfast everyday! Would defiantly recommend this hostel if you want a social and friendly family run, wholesome place to stay and explore Tirana. I will be back!

Good for a hostel. Beds have privacy curtains built in. Bathrooms are standard hostel quality (low). Nice garden and social atmosphere
