Military Community Museum

A museum of the Military Dependents Village in Hsinshu City. The museum tells the story of the dependents of the military. Telling the reason of moving here, the lifestyle in the past and displaying the stuff with photos in the past. Showing the environment and history of the Military Dependents Village. Free entry, not crowded on weekdays.

We drove to the museum, the place is hard to parking the car. The museum was fun is shows the old time military villages. Include how do they lived in old what do they eat and what do they for fun. If you are interested to know their old time life it is good to visits there. And there is for free. Not much people going there.

Not really interesting for the kids but the adult will be more interested on stuff there.

Nostalgic and free. This museum preserve the historical memory.

Well maintain Small museum but there are quite a few things to see, jus visit when u have time.

This museum has a lot historical relics and is preserved well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a very good place to go to with your family. This museum doesn't charge any admission fee. You can also take some pictures and admire this paintings outside. This place is definitely worth you while.

Cool place to learn about the old army compounds where members of the ROC army forces used to live.

Highly recommended! In order to understand the importance of Hsinchu to the defence of Taiwan against communist China invasion ever since 1949, it is a must visit! It is also a look of history in a nutshell.. I would start the visit with a look of the Hsinchu city map dotted with lights each marking a military village! They are filling the whole city! And not limited by the air forces at all.. They are all branches of the military services in order to protect Taiwan from military attacks! Our post-war generations cannot appreciated the sacrifices elder generations made without a visit of this museum! 飲水思源！ 我大力推薦您來此一遊！I highly recommend a visit of the Hsinchu military community museum when you are in town!
