We visited Milk Brunch · Tapas · Bar for breakfast and decided to try their pancakes. They were absolutely delicious — fluffy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. For us, it turned out to be a wonderful breakfast option, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant start to their day.

Absolutely delicious food and brilliant service from Carla & Rob. We ordered about half the menu and every dish was delicious. We had dinner with two young children and were made to feel so welcome, even adapting some of the menu to accommodate our 6 year old. Highly recommended!

Carla was a server and she was wonderful!! Seba was also amazing. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. Food was phenomenal. Do not leave without trying their Caesar, the Asian wings and pork tacos were also standouts. 10/10

We had breakfast at Milk to celebrate the birthday of our friend during a weekend in Barcelona. It was excellent. The food was delicious, we tried the eggs benedict, pancakes, granola, toast and even a virgin Bloody Mary. It was all very good. Fast service, very friendly, beautiful decor. The location is great to some shopping or go to some museums afterwards. It was a perfect start to our day! Thank you.

The dinner was very good! Food is delicious, Carla and Seba were really nice and welcoming to us, offered some great suggestions for the food. Drunken prawns are the best, gourmet hamburger is also really good as well. Would recommend for a warm atmosphere and friendly staff.

Best place for a brunch just 15 minutes walk from the beach. Friendly and fast waitress and a great offer of spanish and international breakfast. If you still feel yesterdays party ask for the house medicine against a hangover ;)

We’ve been there twice. The first time was a spontaneous evening visit. It wasn’t very crowded, so we had a great chat with the staff, got to try a free sample drink, and received a recommendation to check out their brunch. On our second visit, we came specifically for that brunch. There was a short wait — just about 5–10 minutes — but it was absolutely worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and the food is simply delicious.

We really loved Milk! It was such an excellent find and one that I highly recommend. The service was exceptional! Our server, Lucy was so nice, efficient and accommodating with a big smile no matter our requests. They offer an excellent variety of breakfast food, hamburgers, and delicious salads! Our teenagers were also very happy! This is a MUST stop!

My family just finished our dinner at Milk and I had to jump online to tell everyone how delicious it was! We were so hungry after a day on the water and ordered just about everything on the dinner menu. I can't say there was one thing we didn't like. It was all incredible! The drunk prawns were amazing and the citrus salad dip was so good. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. And the espresso martini was one of the best I have ever had. It's too bad we found this place on our last night here or it would be a regular stop!

Wow wow wow!!! It was out last night on Barcelona and we were on the hunt for a final meal in Barcelona. My wife found Milk Bar and Bistro on Yelp, and so we had to try it for ourselves. So she made us reservations, which I highly recommend. We arrived a little early, but our table was ready and we were quickly seated. The resturant is very small, with maybe about 10 tables or so. In addition, they also have a bar with 6 to 8 seats. It has a very cozy vibe inside. We ordered a hugh variety of items off of the tapas menu. Of the items we ordered I'd say our favorites were the drunken prawns, the croquettes with mixed seasonal mushroom truffle and a goat cheese cream, and the Japanese style chicken wings. We ordered several items and truly loved all of them. We did order the lazy peppers and padron peppers, and these items were good, they were just not exciting as the other dishes. The service was wonderful. There was never a long wait for any food. After our intial order our food started to show up in about 10 minutes. We had placed another round of tapas later in our meal, and it was also served very quickly. Everything tasted very fresh and was a wonderful combination of flavors. I'd return here immediately if I found myself back in Barcelona.

Great breakfast spot in Barcelona!! I found this on Yelp prior to arriving and happy that it was close to our hotel so we could walk. It's tucked away in an alleyway, but there is a sign outside. We arrived just before they opened and were seated immediately. I'm glad we did because it's fairly small inside, and about 10 minutes after opening, they were almost full. Hubby & I shared the pancakes with a side of bacon. We didn't want too much food as we were about to head to Cruise Port. The pancakes were delicious, and the bacon was good, too. No complaints... service was great as well.

Another great find using Yelp! They have a great variety of brunch options. Our choices, the Mediterranean toast, the huevos rancheros and a very banana smoothie, were all delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. The interior was colorful and seating was comfy. Check their hours; I think they close in the afternoon and open early evening.

Greet Benedict's. Awesome coffee. Waiters on point. Very cute place. We were missing home. Wife ordered huevos rancheros. While it was different than Oklahoma. It filled the Mexican food voids..

It was a great choice for breakfast! Not a big place so we waited 15 minutes and it was well worth the wait. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent! Classic Benedict, pancakes and Huevos rancheros all was yummy.

Milk bar is good- but it's just that. It's a cute spot for a very specific ice cream. If you don't like cereal milk, then go to an actual ice cream shop.

This place is really good , I'm not sure why this place is not busy as other , in my opinion this one of best breakfast I have, the food is really good , staff are so friendly , the place is just calm very good ambience it just nice and eat peacefully. I really don't mind people don't come in for me next time I come back I don't need to wait in the line. Hahahaha but this place have. Best food I been in Barcelona. Amazing, tried the Mediterranean toast and Turkish eggs. Family had pancakes, salad and burger. All amazing!

I took a long walk exploring the narrow cobblestone streets to find this restaurant and it was so worth the walk exploring the narrow cobblestone streets until I found it. The ambiance is very hip quirky, colorful and eclectic. Their menu definitely screams bistro and they have so many great things to choose from. I got their bacon eggs Benedict and it was one of the best I had. It came with a salad and potatoes. Their coffee was so good too. I got a cappuccino and it was perfect. The lady who was the waitress was very attentive and kind and we talked a little which I enjoyed. This is such a great establishment, I can't wait to be in Barcelona again and try one of their burgers and crafted cocktails.

If you're ever visiting Barcelona in the Gothic Quarter please stop at this local gem. The ambiance is amazing with chill music and excellent vibes. Customer service was amazing everyone from the server to the bartender was extremely friendly. Feels like a great family vibe. The food is delicious and the the drinks are amazing. I had the Porn Star Martini and it was everything, I highly encourage anyone to try it. Whenever I'm back in Barcelona this will be my first stop!

When I think of breakfast in Europe, I usually think of a pastry and coffee. However, this restaurant has some delicious breakfast dishes perfect for brunch. We walked in and seating was limited, so we sat at the countertop. The stools were comfortable and we were serviced promptly. The inside is very inviting with warm colors and cushion seats. First, I ordered the bleedin' bellini which was delicious. It was refreshing and perfect for a hot Barcelona morning. Then, I ordered the classic bacon benedict. It was perfect for what I was in the mood for that morning. They have a lot more unique options if that is what you are going for, but I just wanted the classic benedict. It really hit the spot. The bread was soft and pillowy, but still held up well to the eggs. The potatoes were seasoned well and the salad was crisp adding extra freshness to the dish. My husband got the chorizo hash and loved it. I wasn't even able to try any! This is a must if you are in Barcelona and want a classic breakfast to start your day... or in the middle of your day.

This was just around the corner from our hotel and it had a cool vibe and great food. It was one of our favorite meals in Barcelona.

Lovely vibe and good food. I haven't had eggs with yogurt before and though that might sound weird, I thought this was such a creative spin on the classic poached eggs and really enjoyed the Turkish egg dish. It was spiced to perfection. The mediterranean benedict was just as good. The place was packed, do make reservations to not be disappointed.

Stopped for a quick brunch around 1pm on a Sunday. Was slightly busy, but we found seating. The waitress offered us another table once cleared to allow us more room, which we gladly acquiesced. We ordered the Turkish Eggs and English Breakfast, both of which arrived swiftly. Both dishes were fairly simple, but they were tasty and scarfed down quickly. Very cozy atmosphere in an accesible location in the city.

I love this little gem in the barrí gothic. Warm friendly service, charming interior, and healthy fresh food. We went twice and had cappuccinos, smoothies, yogurt and fruit, and egg white omelette. All delicious!

Good not great. Service is bad...oh and slow, but the food is pretty good. We came early place had at least 3 or 4 table available but still had to wait for a good 10 minutes. The place is tiny but very cool as long as you don't mind tight spaces. We ordered several breakfast items and I ordered a Bloody Mary...Bloody Mary came out when most of us were mostly done. Food was good but then again most food in BCN is very good. With all of the places to choose from just good and bad service means don't go.

What a great find.. We wandered around and passed a dozen places, ultimately stopping at MILK. The food and service was beyond fantastic. Our Server Dahla made us feel like we were at her house for a dinner party. A few Tapas plates and full with a smile on our faces. I WILL definitely be back next trip to Barcelona

Came here for breakfast our first day in Barcelona. So good!! I got the Mississippi Belle pancakes and my husband got the Juevos Rancheros. Delish! Highly recommend!

We went to Milk this morning and had the most amazing breakfast! We walked up and were seated immediately, ordered as soon as we got our menus, and the food came out minutes later!! George was our server and he was extremely nice and on it. The atmosphere was beautiful and artsy. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Prices are amazing for the quality food that is served.

Great food quality and a very nice vibe here. We visited several times during our trip because of the great food. Drinks taste pretty good but are very small for the price, even compared to other places in the area. Drinks were also inconsistent. The same drink (Moscow Mule) was served 3 different ways on 3 different orders, two of which were at the same meal, or did not match what the menu said. The red sangria and bloody Maria were the best in terms of size for cost. Daiquiris and piña coladas are tiny cocktail versions, which felt overpriced given the normal size of these drinks, but it should be noted they are still strong drinks. Hope they can work on this small aspect because they are otherwise an amazing restaurant.

I ate here for Breakfast 3 days in a row. Outstanding food and service. Ambiance was great as well.

Yes, it has a touristy feel and is a bit over the top - however! - it's delicious, serves massive portions, and plenty of locals dine there as well. We got in very early for the weekend brunch and just beat the rush, so if you do go we recommend going early. Ordered more than we could eat/finish, but loved every bite. English breakfast, hues rancheros, 2drinks, and the Mississippi Belle pancakes were less than 40 Euros, so you definitely get good value. Lots of people taking pics of their meals (of course) but this place knows how to market and most importantly: has awesome food. We'll be back next time we visit for sure!

This is one of two of the best brunches we had on honeymoon in Barcelona. Staff was very friendly. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were funny and personable and recommended some good drinks. Not ashamed to say we had two cava mimosas each before brunch even came out and topped it off with some chocolate coffee martini situation. Better believe we stumbled out of there pretty happy. Brunch itself was delicious. My chorizo hash was hearty and well seasoned. For it being such a heavy dish, the portion was just right and it still felt indulgent and delicious. Came with a poached egg on top which JUST made the cut to be runny enough. I think it could've used two eggs on top to full envelope the potatoes and chorizo, but everything down to the cheese on top was sublime. Scott ordered a benedict and sadly one of his eggs was overcooked, however his meal was plated beautifully and ultimately the flavors made up for the egg. I wish we could've gone here twice during our stay! However, it has inspired me to try my hand at my own version of a chorizo hash at home!

Best brunch I had during my stay in Barcelona. We ordered the Mississippi Belle pancake stack and the chorizo hash. The pancakes were fluffy with delicious cream and berries. The potatoes in the hash were perfectly crispy and the manchego cheese topping added an extra layer of flavor. We also ordered the hot chocolate which was delicious. This is a must try in Barcelona!

Perfect place for breakfast.. whit couzy atmosphere and good coffee. I took dish with products, that I would never imagine to combine (turkish eggs with greek yogurth and chilli ‍), but it tasted SOOO GOOOD!! ‍ I would recomend this place!!

Milk is INCREDIBLE! I went one night and returned two days later to enjoy even more amazing dishes!! Highly recommend the french fries, gyoza, citrus salad, ceaser salad, and pan con tomate. Service was fast and staff was so sweet and accommodating, the restaurant itself was beautiful and had interesting art and a decorated bar, and I will most definitely be returning!

Milk Bar serves excellent drinks and menu items in a quiet Barcelona side street: FOOD (4/5): There are excellent options here ranging including burgers, salads, numerous brunch items, and rotating specials. The owner recommended the burger, chorizo scramble, and salmon Benedict as her favorite. SERVICE (5/5): Very friendly and prompt service. ATMOSPHERE (4.5/5): Inside seating only. The seats are very comfortable, many including cushions and pillows. Expect to wait for a table if you come during prime hours. Overall, Milk bar is an excellent restaurant to check out during your time in Barcelona.

Unfortunately, I didn't like what I ordered (which was 100% my fault). I should've ordered the pancakes which I saw everyone else getting. I ordered the American breakfast, which I'm sure is very good to others, just not my taste. I would definitely go back here, the vibe is amazing and drinks are good.

Had to come here twice, not because it was so good but because the first time we came, they were closed!! Hours said they were open but it was dark inside. There was another customer also waiting. We thought maybe they were still setting up to open or something so we knocked and waited for a while and someone came out saying they were closed because they had no electricity. They should have put a sign outside. Tried again the next day and they had electricity back on! It's really tight and small inside and you're really close to other tables. I ordered the huevos ranchero and my cousin ordered the crab Benedict and we both shared. My aunt ordered the chorizo hash. I wasn't a big fan of the huevos ranchero and the crab Benedict barely had any crab in it and I couldn't even taste the crab at all. My aunts chorizo hash on the other hand was quite tasty when I tried it. Wished I had ordered that instead. I also ordered a cup of coffee and that was good. Overall, this place wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

This is NOT just a brunch place! While I did send this to my husband to book for brunch and he booked it for dinner, we are thrilled with the mistake. Everything we ate was incredible!!! We had the citrus salad, ramen burger, vegetarian fries and croquettes. Everything was delish - including the sangria! Service was great and we loved the atmosphere. DO NOT wait for brunch! It is worth going for a dinner - maybe even better! Thank you!

If you're in Barcelona and missing some good ol' American brunch fare, definitely stop by Milk. When you get there, and you're lucky enough to not have a wait, great. The hubs and I, however, had a couple groups there waiting for tables before us. You have to flag a server down inside to get your name on the list. The restaurant itself is pretty small, and when it's packed, it's filled with all these yummy smells and the sounds of people laughing and enjoying life. Both the food and the service is great, and I honestly would NOT have complained if the hubs wanted to go back there another time before we left Barcelona.

I came for the dinner (not the brunch) but I was fairly satisfied with my meal. I got the kimchi wings and parmesan fries, and the cheese was grated freshly on top of the fries! I also asked for the aioli which was great- not too much mayonnaise. We also got the shaking beef which was delicious however the rice was a little too firm for my liking. My dad got the steak sandwich which I tasted, I didn't love it because it was spicy to me, but for him it was fine. I also believe the drinks are pretty good, I got the raspberry fizz and my mom got a bloody mary which I actually thought was really good. It tasted like a delicious cold soup, if that's even possible! Definitely a cute place to come with a few friends- be cautious though because there may be some waiting, outside perhaps, so you will want to plan accordingly.

Came here for breakfast and ordered a cappuccino and crab Benedict. The Benedict was loaded with crab meat, has 2 perfectly poached eggs, and was covered with creamy hollandaise sauce. This is a nice place for breakfast.

Milk had some great breakfast items on the menu. I ordered the Turkish eggs which provided a nice tangy taste to the runny yolk. The poached eggs were a bit under for my liking with still runny whites. But all the flavors of the dish were there and were awesome. I had the oat blueberry smoothie which I found very creamy and delicious as I'm usually nope a fan blueberry drinks and dishes.

We came back here twice during our stay in Barcelona because their cocktails were spot on and cheap. My wife got expresso martini wasted and I got manhattans because their vermouths are delicious. Also, dont miss their Prawns dish. I could literally bathe and wash my hair in that aioli sauce. DAM THAT SAUCE! If I were to recreate the sauce and since this is an asian fusion restaurant, I'd say it's a combination of Teriyaki, Mayo, and a little bit of paprika. It works. 5 stars.

This is a nice little spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It is a few blocks from the water in the Gothic district. Somewhat dark and cozy, lots of pillows. Cocktails are outstanding! My daughter really liked the Bloody Mary. The food has an American flair, the burger and hash were excellent. Beer menu was ok, missing American or Belgium choices. Service was good and friendly. I hope to return someday!! If you go be careful, a man bumped into once I got out on the street and took my wallet/phone. The pick pocketing in Barcelona is real.

We wanted to take a break from wine and tapas and try some local cocktails and American comfort food. Milk Bar was at the top of our list of bars in the Gothic Quarter. Bohemian, upbeat, yet a variety of customers ranging from GNO, families (even a baby) to couples. Great brunch and date night spot. We came here at night and started out at the bar, but got moved to a table as soon as one opened up. We ordered a few cocktails and dishes to go along with it. I thought the food was okay, but the cocktails were great. They can take a while, because most of them are handcrafted and there's only 1-2 bartenders. Not your typical authentic bar in Barcelona, but great change up from the usual places.
