It's a cool landmark that has a milk bottle on top of it. Also, I got an added bonus of an Oklahoma City mural on the side of the building.

If you like seeking out "giant" structures on Route 66, this is a must-see. It isn't huge, but it's definitely the biggest milk bottle we've ever seen! A cute photo op on a Route 66 road trip.

Can't enter it. Love the bottle though

Another stop visiting historic places around the city.

Just good for a quick drive by picture but a quirky piece of route 66 Americana history.

Only the realest in OKC know! The Milk Bottle Building is iconic. A huge part of my childhood especially when it was 'Banh Mi Ba Le' would walk here often for delicious $2 Vietnamese baguette sandwiches.

It’s on a busy intersection so slowing down to take pictures could be challenging. Also no parking right near it since it’s at an intersection.

Yelp
A quirky, historic Route66 stop that delivers on charm and photo-worthy appeal--but don't expect more than a quick visit. Enough reason to explore if you're nearby, but not worth a special trip. Three stars seems fair.

Yelp
This building located in Asian Town in Oklahoma City. Is off a bit from Route 66. This building is part of attraction along the Route 66. This is a triangle building at a small triangular intersection. Very strange. The building has a giant bottle of milk display with Oklahoma Braum's milk. It is a grocery store built in 1930. It is a registered historic place. Now the grocery store is close. It has been open as Nail Salon before. Now also close.

Yelp
Milk bottle grocery was constructed in 1930 and the milk bottle was added in 1948. The bottle was designed to draw attention to the store and served as an advertisement for the dairy industry. Due to its triangular shape, the store was known as the Triangle Grocery from 1940 to 1948 before it became the Milk Bottle Grocery. The Saigon Baguette, a Vietnamese sandwich shop, occupied the space for several years. It's currently a private nail salon. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 5, 1998.

Yelp
Roadside America/Route 66 brought me here. "The Milk Bottle Grocery, located at 2426 N. Classen Boulevard in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is a grocery building with a large metal milk bottle atop its roof. The store was constructed in 1930, and the milk bottle was added in 1948. The bottle was designed to draw attention to the store, as the tall bottle would be visible to automobile traffic along Classen Boulevard, which was part of U.S. Route 66 at the time; it also served as an advertisement for the dairy industry. The store is also one of the few triangular buildings in Oklahoma City, as it occupies a corner lot in an area where Classen Boulevard cuts diagonally through the city's street grid. Due to its shape, the store was known as the Triangle Grocery from 1940 until 1948, when it became the Milk Bottle Grocery due to its new statue. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 5, 1998. The Saigon Baguette, a Vietnamese sandwich restaurant, occupied the space for several years. In August 2014 it was announced that the building would be restored to its original appearance."

Yelp
We stopped off here on a nice clear day November 2018 strictly as a tourist attraction on our eastbound I-40 trip from California to Indiana
