Google
Service was lackluster. Employees were not enthused. Told them it was my first time, gave no recommendations and zero energy, until I came back for a refund. The matcha was brown and the drink was literally just thrown together vs actually prepared in the way I’ve seen boba prepared at other boba places and it was lacking flavor very watery. I got the strawberry matcha with strawberry poppers. Do not recommend.

We drove 20 minutes with the whole family specifically to this location because it’s supposed to stay open later on Fridays and Saturdays. According to the posted hours, you’re open until 10 PM. We arrived at 9:50 PM, only to find the store already completely closed—lights off, doors shut, no one inside. Why advertise extended hours if you’re not actually going to honor them? It’s incredibly disappointing, especially when families make an effort to come out late expecting service. Please update your hours or make sure your staff follows the posted schedule.

Google
The employees are very friendly but overall this boba place SUCKS!!! I’ve went twice , the first time I had a milk swirl drink… it was straight up milk with a hint of boba …. Second time I had the strawberry matcha & IT TASTED TERRIBLE , the match wasn’t good , and the drink was watered down , the strawberry purée was okay but the boba wasn’t enough to even save the drink .

Google
I was pleasantly surprised to find proper milk tea in Charlotte. And this place doesn't disappoint. The selection of options is vast and the service is friendly and fast. I did find the boba to be not as soft (almost like they were boiled a while ago and not as fresh as I wanted) and the drink even at 50% sugar was quite sweet. I think next time I will go for 25%. This is especially necessary if you add boba, since Boba is often boiled in honey so that sugar level cannot be adjusted. Anyways, I'm overall happy, was a bit disappointed about the tapioca pearls.

Google
Always a have a great experience here, I love the fruity mango tea with lychee popping boba but today I tried the chocolate tea with boba and Oreo pieces. They even have games to set up and play with friends in store.

Google
Nice little spot with good flavors and helpful service. I was not totally familiar with all the options. I asked for some info on a couple that sounded interesting. The guy behind the counter took the time to explain the differences and help me decide. I ended up going with both :P A fun tip: the Chocolate Milk Tea is popular. They didn’t have chocolate, so they subbed in Oreos and it was AMAZING. It should probably be it’s own drink. Id suggest giving that a try.

Google
The tea was delicious and the price was reasonable. They were also quick. Very clean store and really pretty. I gave four stars because the two employees weren't friendly at all. I understand sometimes there's day we don't feel like talking at all, but not even a smile... The tea is very good, I will go back for the tea, but only in sunny 🌞 days...

Google
Charlotte really has a ton of options for milk tea and I'm always up to trying new places! This is the newest place I've been to and It wasn't a disappointment at all! The staff was patient waiting on us to decide what we wanted to get and helpful with a few customizations. The decorations inside was fun and clean and very modern looking. It's literally a great place to take a photo of your drink and then sit and enjoy it. After ordering it didn't take long for the drinks to arrive and for us to be on our way. A great place to stop if you're in this area and craving milk tea!

Yelp
I'm originally from New York and Milk Cha Cha is the closest to my favorite boba place. The staff is nice and willing to be patient with you even when it's busy. I always stop when I pass one.

Yelp
I have came into this location a few times. It is very bright, well decorated and gives off a great vibe. There is a large menu with a lot of varieties. Unfortunately the last few times I have been in here the customer service has not been great. At first, I thought it was just an "off day" but after these last two times I see that's not the case. A simple "hello" and smile can go a long way instead of looking at your phone and being irritated by taking an order. It's unfortunate because the drinks are good and this could be a great place.

Hani T.

Yelp
I ordered my boba tea with 20% sugar, but the bartender didn't follow my request and made the drink overly sweet. I hadn't even finished explaining my order, but she went ahead and made it her way without listening. When I complained, she refused to fix it--terrible service and disregard for customer preferences!

Yelp
This was a cute little boba spot my friend took me to for a little dessert after dinner. The place is absolutely beautiful and so cute with all the Boba decor. There were a lot of options so the staff was helpful in choosing options and explaining what certain drinks were. My go to is brown sugar milk tea and although they didn't have that specific one, I went with the brown sugar mocha and that was just as good. I usually don't get boba with mine but I did this time and the boba pearls added a nice texture and burst of flavor with the mocha. They were warm and were a strong brown sugar taste which paired perfectly with the mocha flavor. My friend got the Oreo slush which she said was amazing. For both drinks I paid about $15 which wasn't bad for the size of the cup. If you are in the charlotte area, please stop by and try it out!

Yelp
Stopped by here after lunch to grab some boba and I was a bit disappointed in my order. I got the blended mango and strawberry with popping strawberry boba, but it was quite bland. You couldn't taste the tea very well and the fruit flavors mainly tasted like ice. The service was fine and the ambiance was lax. Overall, a lackluster boba experience.

Yelp
The brown sugar milk swirl with boba still has me in a choke hold. I crave it frequently!! It's a great place to come for work or to meet a friend because it's nice and quiet. Friendly staff and convenient location with ample parking in the garage. Love this boba tea spot!

Yelp
Stepping into Milk Cha Cha Boba Tea felt like entering a secret society for boba aficionados, where the password is 'extra tapioca, please!' My family and I, newly minted members of the Charlotte boba scene, were on a quest for the Holy Grail of bubble tea, and oh boy, did we strike liquid gold. The Strawberry Matcha Boba for the parental units (that's us) wasn't just a drink; it was a culinary ballet, where strawberries and matcha performed a pas de deux in our cups, dressed in a tutu of tapioca pearls. It was so beautiful, I half-expected it to start reciting Shakespeare. Meanwhile, my 2 kiddos dived into the Brown Sugar and Mango Tea Boba like they were on a treasure hunt in the Caribbean, minus the pirates and scurvy, of course. The ambiance of Milk Cha Cha is what I imagine a unicorn's living room looks like -- clean, bright, and adorned with boba pillows and boba stuffed animals that I'm convinced come to life when the shop closes. It's the kind of place where you half expect the furniture to start singing about the joys of tea. In conclusion, Milk Cha Cha Boba Tea is more than just a boba shop; it's a whimsical escape to a world where the drinks are sweet, the ambiance is sweeter, and you leave feeling like you've just been hugged by a giant, friendly boba pillow. Five stars for the tea, and an extra star for making us feel like part of the boba aristocracy. If you're in Charlotte and craving some bubble magic, this is the place to be. Just don't blame me if you start speaking in boba puns afterwards; it's an infectious side effect of visiting.

Yelp
I wish they had more stars tbh. I usually don't like boba but the tapioca things be hitting different here. I also tried Taro.... Stuff taste like cereal milk! Plus it's cute asf, I seen Kimmy doin her big one here.

Yelp
Stopped by Milk Cha-Cha after church today. It's a nice spot for a refreshing drink. I tried the Strawberry Cha Tea. It's smooth and you could taste the freshness of the strawberries. The service was fast and Carlton was incredibly friendly and agreed to the photo. The atmosphere is relaxed and chic. I would definitely return.
google avatar

Yelp
For me personally I found their options alright for the price. It's a cute place and the service is fine. I think for the smaller size of drinks it should be a bit cheaper.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best boba spots in Charlotte! I came here for a short weekend and tried multiple places but none compared to milk cha cha! If the boba balls are good, that's when you know they're good! I ordered their brown sugar milk swirl with boba one day, and had to come back the next day to order it again! The staff is super friendly and even gave us suggestions on where to go and eat since it was our first time there! Definitely recommend!!
google avatar

Evangeline L.

Yelp
Some of the best boba in the Charlotte area! The tea is always extremely fresh and the boba is soft. Prices are a little high, but understandable considering that the tea is homemade and no powders are used. Ambiance is also pretty chill and there's free parking at the garage nearby. This is definitely one if my go to spots.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent selection of flavors, the classics as well as some of the new trendy tastes that you wont find in other boba shops. Cute and simple decorations and tables to sit and chat with your friends and/or loved ones. I especially appreciated that the staff ASKED what level of sweetness do I prefer. Most shops just make it FULL sweet and I get a headache... so this is very customer friendly service. AND they asked about ICE level too!! Definitely a boba shop I would recommend and come back to. The MISSED one star for: * NOT having any pastry items * Serving sizes/options are a bit small * No Music!
google avatar

Yelp
Fresh strawberry tea! Fresh fruit blended with green tea poured over ice. So refreshing!! Great flavor. The only thing I didn't love was the price. This sucker costs over $7. The staff was friendly. I asked the gentlemen who took my order a bunch of questions (because I'd never had Boba before) and he wasn't the best at answering them. He'd point at the menu and assume I knew what he meant. But I still enjoyed my choice!

Yelp
This place is too cute! Upon walking in staff were immediately alert and attentive. We were greeted and they were available for ALL of our questions. And I had a lot. I've never had Boba Tea so when I heard about this place I invited my niece to come check it out because she's been trying to get me to try boba tea. I had the chunky pineapple tea with pineapple jelly topping because I love pineapple everything, especially drinks. It was delicious. My niece had the Thai Tea Milk Tea with milk foam. She said it was great. Inside there are a few tables for 2-4 folks. There are games on the table. There's a color printer inside for cost. Menus are everywhere. Written on the wall, printed and left on the counter... Three people were working which was sufficient for the flow of customers which ranged from just us to heavy. Now I had already gotten my drink when I saw the time limited sign for the dragon fruit tea. Man!!! I so would have gotten that drink. Oh well, guess I gotta go back. I have to mention as I'm writing this review my husband is eyeing my drink (which he already tasted) and asking for the address. (It's in the South Park area on Piedmont Row) Easy walk from the free parking garage. I just gave it to him. He'll owe me. Check them out!

Yelp
Came here for a strawberry matcha latte and was thoroughly impressed with the drink I received! I loved how the strawberry tasted fresh and they gave a good serving of matcha. The staff is always so nice whenever I go here and there was no wait.

Yelp
I appreciate Milk Cha-Cha has great Brown sugar swirl ALL the time, this drink is perfectly balanced. It has just enough boba, I ask for light ice, the brown sugar syrup has a great flavor and it's also visually appealing. They recently added a printer, which makes it convenient if you are working remote or doing a school project. There is plenty of space and games to play while you enjoy a milk tea. The ambiance makes it where you want to go back. There is street parking also parking in the parking deck.

HonestTalk C.

Yelp
First timer. I was with my friend who loves Milk Cha-Cha so how could I not try them out? I ordered the mango matcha latte with boba. You really have to mix it... the drink was good but not spectacular. I may have to order another drink next time. The inside was cute tho

Yelp
I've been here several times before for events, but I was finally able to make it back on my own so I can actually review it now. On our most recent visit, my husband and I shared a Ube Slush and Mango Milk Swirl. We loved both of them. My personal favorite was the Mango Milk Swirl. Their boba is a bit too mushy for my preference, so I opt for their jellies as toppings instead. Their drinks always taste fresh. It's definitely worth a stop if you haven't been!

Yelp
A bubble tea lover's paradise. I love love love bubble tea spots that have matcha on the menu, and believe me, not many do! I recently came here for bubble tea, although, it was a treat by one of my friends, so I decided to try something I've never had before. I decided on a strawberry match tea with boba. Personally, I don't like sweet things mixed with my milk teas, so this wasn't something I enjoyed. However, I have gotten my usual order from this location before (Match Milk Tea w/Boba), so I know they do a good job. I would recommend this spot!

Yelp
I absolutely loved this Yelp Elite event! Today's adventure led me to Milk Cha-Cha. I visited the South Park location. Nestled in such a cute shopping center, Milk Cha-Cha is warm & inviting. The service staff was so patient & eagerly explained the many options available. I had the Banana Swirl and Oh M G!!!! This drink was so refreahing. I regret that i didnt get a larger serving. Super light & refreshing. The price pount is very reasonable. I'll definitley come back because this drink was amazing... I can't imagine what their other offerings are like. I encourage you to celebrate #APIHM by trying out Milk Cha-Cha.
google avatar

Lucas B.

Yelp
This place rules. They have traditional milk tea and a bunch of other milk teas for those who may not like traditional or if you want to try something different. The guys that worked there were really nice and helpful and whenever I'm in South Park I WILL be back.

Yelp
I found out about Milk Cha cha through a Yelp event that I attended. Then I got some things for the kids! These Mochi candies were inexpensive and super cool to try. My daughter wanted the strawberry tea dink pictured on the side of the counter, but it was too large. The staff helped us pick something else with a smaller size option: strawberry milk swirl with strawberry heart topping. The jellies in the drink didn't look like hearts (maybe I misheard) but they tasted good. The kids shared the drink (so fast I didn't get a picture). It was made normally but I didn't find it to be too sweet. We ordered it with light ice. They have some cute merch in store as well.

Yelp
Atmosphere: Milk Cha-Cha has a clean and inviting interior, perfect to escape into on a hot day. There are board games to play while waiting for or enjoying boba! Service: The workers were friendly and made our drinks quickly. Food: We ordered the fresh strawberry yakult with boba and strawberry matcha latte with mango star jelly. The strawberry yakult was refreshing and not too sweet even though it was at the original 100% sweetness. The strawberry matcha latte was yummy and met our expectations of a good strawberry matcha latte! Overall: Milk Cha-Cha has a welcoming environment with solid drinks. Our drinks did not overly exceed our expectations but also did not leave us feeling disappointed, so we would likely come back in the future!

Yelp
First off, the area that they're in is so cute so already the overall aesthetic of the location was super nice. The decorations and shop overall was very welcoming despite how big and open it feels, which can be helpful when boba shops get super busy and congested. I got the fresh strawberry tea which only comes in a large so I was a bit worried I wouldn't finish, but it was super refreshing and light so I had no trouble drinking it all! This is also the best tapioca I've had in Charlotte so far. I always love when the boba in your drink comes out warm, it makes it taste so fresh, so I loved this factor of it. Lastly, the whole cafe is super cute! Lots of cute decorations and places to take pictures. They also have games like Uno and Jenga so you can spend a bit of time there. I 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for consistent and great boba in Queen City! Definitely will be coming back next time I'm in the area.
google avatar

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Drove 30 minutes to try this bubble tea shop and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Hong Kong Milk Tea and they made it to our customization. Smooth and silky milk tea and perfectly sweetened and chewy tapioca. Can't wait to try other items next time! There's parking up front and around the corner.
google avatar

Laryssa S.

Yelp
This place is definitely one of my favorite boba tea places! I love the aesthetics of the place and the wonderful customer service in addition to the tasty drinks! I tried the strawberry matcha boba tea. It was so good! The drink had some kind of whipped strawberry purée at the bottom then matcha tea with strawberry boba at the bottom. So good!! I originally wanted the mango but I believe that was out of season which now I'm ok with since the strawberry was so delicious! They have tons of drink varieties that you don't normally see at a bubble tea establishment. Definitely a must try!

Yelp
This was my second visit to MCC and I was disappointed to find out that a year later, soy is still the only milk alternative they have. It's so weird to me that this establishment doesn't offer almond or oat milk. I digress. Since there were no milks I could consume I ordered a dragon fruit tea 25% sweet and added strawberry boba. I could have increased the sweetness to 50% without the boba, but the sweetness of the boba balanced the tea out just perfectly. It was good. I think the drink was 24 oz and I paid about $11. I had a bit of sticker shock at the register, wasn't expecting that. The staff was helpful and took time to answer my questions and explain items I wasn't familiar with. It's a small cafe but they have several tables to sit at and even games to play. It's pretty busy too, several customers came and went while I was there. The negatives. The trash was very obviously overflowing and had been that way for a long while, so when I asked where I could throw away my cup on the way out the staff was finally prompted to take care of that. But there were at least 5 people walking from the front to the back while I was there and no one attempted to empty the only trash can available to guests. I used the restroom while I was there, and I was actually shocked at how nasty it was. An extremely rusty chrome storage shelf that held random cleaning supplies and the roll of paper towels that weren't in the wall mounted paper towel holder, a tall black floor lamp beside the sink (seems the florescent lamp was out of order), plastic sheeting taped to the wall covering the outlet where the floor lamp was plugged, overflowing garbage and a free standing toilet paper holder beside the empty rusted double wall mounted toilet paper holder. And the toilet looks like it hasn't seen a good cleaning in a long time. This bathroom was basically appalling. And there were several employees who used it while I was there. It was pretty bad and not what I expected based on the decor and overall clean appearance of the cafe. Had I used the restroom first, I wouldn't have ordered anything.

Yelp
Such a cute shop with great ambiance! I love that there are merchandise shelves, board games, and photo ops sprinkled throughout the store. There are a lot of great options on the menu without it being too overwhelming, and the workers are all friendly and make the drinks quickly. I've tried a few of the milk teas here before, and found that they taste more like milk than tea...as someone from the bay area CA where boba is like our lifestyle, the milk tea here did not compare to ones I've had before. However, I switched to the strawberry yakult with boba and this has become my new regular drink!!! It's tasty and sweet and the boba texture is perfect. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of it but I swear by this drink and will get it if I want something non caffeinated but still sugary :)
google avatar

Yelp
Attended a Yelp Elite Event here, for a free boba drink and to see the store. It's a great store with a large variety of drinks to choose from. I tried the Uji Matcha Latte and it was pretty good! Inside, there are a good amount of seating areas. It's located in Piedmont Town Center, which is also home to a variety of shops - retail, food, etc. Parking is available on the street as well as in the two available garages.

Yelp
Yelp was running a promotional event, which is when I learnt of this place. Menu has pretty good choices - it was making my decision a bit tough to pick which one I want to order .. haha.. that only means I'll be back to try more stuff on the menu. For today I took strawberry mango tea with strawberry bursting boba!! Super refreshing, tasty and fresh. Place overall definitely had that "new" place / store vibe. Clean and spacious. They have couple of tables indoor for those who want to enjoy their beverage inside. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and several options available for customers. Definitely give it a try!!
google avatar

Yelp
Not my first rodeo at Milk Cha Cha! They did not disappoint. This shop is nestled in a plaza that continues to grow. There is not much seating, but the inside is so cute. Great for quick meets or just picking up. Although there isn't much seating, it does not feel cramped and the aesthetic of the inside has a fresh open feel to it. Not to mention, there are lots of spots for cute photos. Now on to the drinks! I ordered the mango matcha latte with boba pearls, and my friend got the brown sugar boba. This was my first time having a matcha and mango combo, and to my surprise it was delicious! The matcha was especially strong, which I love. For some, matcha is definitely an acquired taste, so maybe this would not be the right drink for you. The good news is that they have so many other drinks to choose from! A previous drink I've had that was super tasty was the Strawberry yalkult drink-- sweet and tangy in flavor and cold for a nice refresh for the Summer. Definitely put this on your list of boba cafes to try!!!

Yelp
Stopped by Milk Cha-Cha and didn't know where to start, but Olivia provided wonderful service. She was the most attentive staff member and explained the menu to me. I'm a big fan of taro so I decided on a taro slush. Who knew you could adjust the sweetness level on your drinks? I'm grateful for Olivia because next time I visit I will actually sound like I know what I'm ordering. Because of her, I adjusted my level to 50% and added lychee jelly which complemented the taro well. The list of drinks, flavors and toppings is extensive and there is truly something for everyone. Milk Cha-Cha has a fun and youthful vibe to it. There are games on every table which encourage community, as well as empowering and fun art on the walls. The neon "you look tea-riffic" sign is perfect for those scouting photo ops on a visit as well.

Yelp
Loved this!  Staff was super friendly. They made my drink so quickly and it was heavenly!   I haven't had milk tea before, so their recommendations and menu knowledge was super helpful. Lots of photos of drinks on hand too, so that also helped in choosing. They offered to adjust sweetness, answered all my questions, and made a fabulous drink! Strawberry matcha latte - go get one!  It was my lunch today. The strawberry jelly hearts were so yummy. The matcha really balanced the sweetness of the strawberry purée at the bottom too. I opted for soy milk over regular. It was delicious! I'll definitely go back- it's a short walk from my office and super refreshing yummy treat! Parking was pretty easy to get if you're driving though.

Yelp
This is such a cute little place! My husband and I visited unsure what to expect, specifically my husband had never even tried boba milk tea before. Definitely a life changing moment for him haha. Like most boba places there were several custom options to choose from, including sugar levels (beware, we found the default levels to be way super sweet and felt a 50% sugar request was far more palatable), but to each their own! The portions are quite large so if you're indulging... We ordered the ube (purple yam I think?) boba milk tea that was cold like a slushie, and another of coffee. Delish! Price wise was fair for the portion size. I feel we usually see these priced closer to $5.50 range, base order without too many additions. If inflation is any indication, prices have probably had to go up since we last visited. Probably the only thing I felt was a downer was how dark it seemed inside. We went on a sunny weekend afternoon, and it felt a little bit like entering a hole in the wall cave when we opened the doors. Hence the -1 star. Overall, would recommend.

Shley J.

Yelp
One of the few white guys that works there always looks dead inside but the boba here is good, thai tea is way better than kft. They have a few fun board games too so if you wanted to chill in there with friends you could.
google avatar

Brittney J.

Yelp
Wanted an afternoon pick me up so decided to visit Milk Cha Cha! I ordered the brown sugar milk tea and I really enjoyed it! It's a bit on the sweeter side for me but I would definitely order it again! Parking is easily accessible and overall the space was clean. I do feel there is room to grow as far as customer service, the girl at the counter was sweet and helpful when I was ordering but there wasn't much of a greeting or attentiveness to customers. That won't stop me from visiting again the next time I'm in SouthPark!
google avatar

Arya Z.

Yelp
Tasty milk tea! Good service. There's different sweetness levels, 75% sweet is the ideal level for me.

Many P.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to grab a refreshing drink from! Wether it's an iced boba drink in the summer or a warm one in the winter, this is easily a go-to if you're in the SouthPark area.
google avatar

Alexander K.

Yelp
Great boba drinks! Always consistent too! Their boba is always cooked properly and actually has a sweet flavor, compared to others that are undercooked and chalky in the center and plain. This place is always a good choice!
google avatar

Yelp
I stop bye to take it vantage of one of the specialty drinks featured by Milk Cha Cha. This was my first time at this particular location and although I was greeted by the staff when I walked in the only information I was given prior to ordering was "the drinks with the crown are our most popular drinks". I would've like a little bit more assistance with creating the perfect drink for me, but I did order a #85 which is a fresh pineapple tea with 100% sweet pineapple jelly which was quite tasty and refreshing.
google avatar

Crestin G.

Yelp
Daddy daughter day and they wanted boba so let's get some boba. This place has easy and ample parking inside of a parking structure. Really nice area, quiet and comfortable vibe. I'm not really informed on how boba works lol so they were helpful and resourceful. Once ordered it was ready soon after so no waiting period and it was a decent line that went quick. I got the fresh mango with strawberry boba and my taste buds went crazy like some bad ass kids on a sugar rush lol. I recommend it, it's for sure at the top of my list for boba.

Yelp
Milk Cha-Cha is legit delicious. MY CREDENTIALS: I am a HUGE bubble tea snob. I have gone to all the major chains (Gong Cha, Sharetea, Xing Fu Tang, Kung Fu Tea, Quickly, Ding Tea, Mr Wish, Tea Do, Moge Tee, etc.) and several independent bubble tea stores. Trust me. I know good bubble tea. And because I know what I like, I rarely go somewhere new. It's always too risky! But one late evening, my go-to stores were closed and/or out of bubbles (aka. boba aka. tapioca pearls). So I decided to trust Yelp and tried Milk-Cha-Cha. And wow, I was impressed. I got the Hong Kong Milk Tea w/ pearls. The tea flavor was rich and delicious. The bubbles were sweet, chewy, and just the right amount of soft. Absolute perfection! Will I be back? YOU BET! :)

Yelp
Speciality drinks are by far my favorite places and this one hits the spot. They have some really unique concoctions of matches and ube combinations. Super friendly staff and cool interior decorations to enjoy and sip on.

David G.

Yelp
I pulled a boba with a hair cooked into it out of my mouth. I always thought I could trust Boba not to have a hair in it, my heart is broken.

Yelp
I had the Taro slush it was delicious. Even the cup it Came in was cool. The service was fast and the staff were friendly as usual. Love the vibe of this place

Yelp
So Southpark got a tea spot and I'm in love. It's definitely a must try in the Queen City! I decided to try a couple of the fruit teas and the sparkling sodas during our visit. We got the famous fresh Strawberry Tea and the Chunky Kiwi Tea. I had never had sparkling soda with jellies so we got the Lychee Sparkling Soda with Pineapple Shelly, the Milkie Sparkling Soda with Milkie Popping Boba and Pineapple Sparkling Soda with Strawberry Heart Jelly. My favorite is the Milkie Sparkling Soda. It is a creamy consistency and has a fruity taste. I haven't tried a drink I don't like at Milk Cha Cha. The decor inside Milk Cha Cha is so Instagram worthy. They have all the cute plushies and photo worthy lighting and greenery. I had seen several post and pics online and this place really lives up to their photos. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They give me suggestions and know the menu. Also note that the tea shop is locally owned and they came up with all their recipes. Milk Cha Cha 4620 Piedmont Row Dr Ste 170A Charlotte, NC 28210 Wednesday July 8th, 2020 6pm

Yelp
I came across this brand new Bubble Tea joint in Southpark, so decided to give it a shot... More than anything, I loved the space...with some cute branding/decor. There was alot of room for folks to wait around (if need be) or hang out, without feeling too overcrowded. Given the current pandemic, they had a sign outside, which smartly asked for only 2 patrons at a time to come inside to order...and as expected, every staff member had on masks. BTW, they said this was a locally owned joint...a one-off (not a chain), so I really wanted to love the place. Seemed their specialty was the blending of Milk Teas w/ Fruit...so I decided to try their Strawberry Matcha Latte, with Boba! I must admit that it was quite expensive... a small sized cup was nearly 7 bucks. Not sure if all the drinks were pricey, or if I happened to choose a pricier drink...possibly due to the addition of fruits? Well, it was a pretty good, refreshing drink...a much healthier version of Bubble Tea, I guess? I can't say that it was all-out delicious as Kung Fu or Sharetea...but definitely lighter, healthier. Their normal sweetness level, for one, was 50% of Kung Fu Teas. Honestly, I thought my drink could have been a bit sweeter, and used a bit more Strawberry. The Matcha/Milk/Strawberry ratio seemed a bit off, but that's just me. Guess I was expecting an even tri-level split...as shown in their posters. My drink was most heavily Matcha. So yeah, I thought the mixology was a bit off. Still, I thought this was a great, new addition to the Southpark area... greatly lacking in Bubble Teas lol. Also, I know many folks are probably seeking a healthier Bubble Tea alternative, so this place may fill that void. In fact, I need to change my Bubble Tea habit...less sweet, less calories!! Again, a welcome addition...and I'm sure I'll return in the future, and maybe try something different.
