Milk Run Premium Ice Cream & Boba

First time at Milk Run at 17th Ave and Camelback Rd. let me tell you it was packed. It is really a great place for Asian teas, Ice creams, smoothies and such. I strongly recommend the Vietnamese Coffee Freeze it was really good. From now on instead of Starbucks I will be coming back for one of these for sure 👍🏼

Hey MilkRun, do I have to ask or pay extra for normal amount of bobas now? Cuz I ordered a large thaitea with boba but I didn’t expect my bobas is this little… kinda disappointed.. look at that portion.*sigh* inflation I guess🤷🏻‍♀️ Reply: so you’re confirming the bobas is not proportional to the cup size aka ounce’s: small, medium, and large. Maybe you should put a sign to inform your customer “bobas is by scoop so your cup size doesn’t matter the amount of bobas you gonna get. If you want more bobas pay extra” That’s more common sense!!!! I mean, you are a BOBA shop.. 60%+of customers is there for boba!!!

Best Thai tea EVERRR! I always get the biggest one and for $5 you can’t beat it. My friends love boba and they do have ice cream but if you want a classic Thai milk tea, this is your spot

Delicious small ice cream and boba shop attached to a Vietnamese restaurant. The restaurant is mostly separate (you can just come for the drinks) They have Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee flavored ice cream all made in house. Very delicious! I recommend the floats.

Service was fast, and the workers were kind, but the flavors are not it. My Strawberry Milk Tea w/Honey Boba was nearly white, barely pink and almost flavorless and my sisters Boba was similarly lacking any flavor. We left disappointed.

This place is really good. The vibe is chill and the staff are SUPER FRIENDLY/CHILL. Definitely worth the hype. Their Boba flavors are on point and the ice cream is good too! I recommend the Taro which is my fave!

This place was a great date place! I work at a boba shop back in Ireland, so it was interesting too see how they are run in the states. The shop was SO well kept and tidy, staff was very fast and friendly and helpful. Great menu choices. The AZ sunset drink looked beautiful although I wasn’t fond of the flavour, I was still impressed. I got two scoops of ice cream and the scoop sizes are really generous! Amazing atmosphere :)

We came at 5 on Sunday it was very packed. Line was nearly out the door. Anyways, we got the classic milk tea which was an 8/10. Then the AZ sunset and that was not good at all. Filled with artificial flavors and sweeteners to the MAXIMUM.

Stopped by on a Thursday evening craving something sweet and opted for their ice cream made in house, specifically a single scoop of Cookie Monster. The ice cream was dense but soft and creamy, which I found to be PERFECT! I ate it so quickly I forgot to take a picture of my cup, which I found to be a perfect portion size for single scoop-- not too big or too small. They offer an impressive variety of flavors, shown in my photo. Their overall menu is also impressively large. I am excited to come back for a casual friend hangout and try out more ice cream, milk tea, or blended drinks!

Love this place. We enjoy all the variety of ice cream flavors (black sesame is my fave).. Line goes fast, never wait long. Small place, only a couple tables. Never seen it jammed packed. Worth every penny!

Milk run was my favorite boba spot when I was living in Arizona. It is next to a Vietnamese restaurant that supposedly is the same owner as this shop. Parking is tough because the lot is very small. Service is very welcoming and friendly. The milk tea is super delicious and creamy. The boba is super fresh and chewy. They also have ice cream and they have Asian flavors like black sesame, ube, Thai tea.. so cute! Their ice cream is super yummy and not overly sweet. Loved this spot so much! Would definitely recommend.

This is one of my go-to boba places in Phoenix. The price is in line with most other comparable places, their hours are convenient, and the service is consistently good. When it comes to ordering a milk tea, they have the usual suspects for flavors. I think their strengths are in the fruity and sparkling drinks. Their Arizona Sunset tea is more than just a pretty picture, and I also love the jasmine tea with cheese foam. They have a range of sizes and ability to customize. The boba quality is solid. If you live nearby or come often, it's worth it to give them your phone number for the loyalty program. They also do ice cream, but it's a little on the pricier end and not really a stand-out to me.

One of the tastiest milk tea I've had in the US. It had genuine flavor of Thai tea, a gorgeous deep orange color, chewy boba that stayed intact for hours. In fact, I saved some of the tea for the next day because I didn't want to drink it all in one go and the boba was still perfect. That is amazing. And seriously, look how pretty that tea is, sigh! Service was quick and friendly. We got a table and stayed for a bit, it was a chill ambiance. The store is located in a bare lot, not much to see, but it's bright and inviting inside the store. Plenty of parking outside.

This is the place to get boba tea! They have such a diverse menu of flavors. And they actually have some great ice cream as well. Their customer service is great too-since I had originally asked for a flavor they no longer had so they offered to handcrafted something similar for me which I thought was great.

Updating my review! It's been a few years since my last one and I've had more visits here. I like to be on this side of town so I can redeem some discounts and freebies, and this time I had 25% off so I stopped by. I ordered their Vietnamese iced coffee with less ice and honey boba. I thought about getting less sugar too but I think I needed it today. It was made fairly quickly as there was only one person in front of me. My drink was good, very sweet as expected and the boba was made well. They have a few tables and chair available and decent amount of parking during off peak hours, but I can see the lot getting full on nights and weekends. I'll probably be back!

The drinks were great and we were happy to see dairy free options as one of us in our party has a dairy allergy. The service was fast and simple and the menu has a little bit of everything. The workers were kind and patient as well. There weren't many tables to sit at and the one that was open was pretty sticky so we ended up drinking our drinks outside. Next time we'll get our drinks before going to the restaurant so we can have them with our food!

Service was good, and we got our drinks really fast. I got the strawberry matcha but the strawberry overpowered the matcha and it wasn't my fav. Overall nice place and would go again just wouldn't order the matcha

I tried their classic milk tea, and it was balanced just right--not too sweet but still incredibly satisfying., The texture was smooth., and the tea wasn't overpowering, which is often a challenge with many places./

Milk run.. Never change! Even though I can't come here as often anymore, this is still my favorite boba spot in the valley. Me and bae got two floats and they were just seeensational. This spot is still as cute as ever with continuously phenomenal service. Love it here!!

The honey vanilla ice cream in the classic float was so good with strong honey flavor. The prices for the quality and size of the drinks is great. Will be coming back to try other drinks!

This boba shop was quite far from me and decided to take the journey as I heard a lot about this place. The shop is not just a boba shop but also has ice cream. Their ice cream is just as good if not better than the boba! The place was a little slow to serve our order but there was plenty of seating. The boba I got was really good, I got Thai tea with ice cream. The combo of ice cream float in my boba was amazing and highly recommend.

I love a good classic milk tea and I can taste the bit of Taiwanese from this tea! Had it with oat milk! Their ice cream flavors are also amazing but because I'm lactose I'm limited here. It's clean and bright inside. We enjoyed our stay here as our drinks also came out fast.

Stopped in specifically for their cold Matcha Milk Tea, no ice, extra tapioca pearls; found them via a Yelp search because I wanted a liquid treat and they have great reviews. The Flavor was quite good, nice vanilla tone, and the boba were smooth - not overcooked and stuck together - with a subtle sweet taste to enhance the drink. This shop is a restaurant in one, I'm assuming, based on the thru-way to the others side of the space and people sitting eating in the large dine-in area.

Milk run is one of Phoenix best kept secrets. Those that know, know. The iced Vietnamese sea salt foam is amazing. Has to be one of their top sellers. Other coffee shops could never come close to this delicious drink. The ice cream is freshly made. Be sure to ask for a free sample. They also have an amazing selection of boba, shakes, of many custom refreshments to choose from. They all look amazing. The store is clean and the staff is super friendly. There is limited seating, so most customers take their orders to go. Also If you like pho (Vietnamese soup) there is a restaurant conveniently connected right next door. Pricing is decent, I feel you get your money's worth. It's worth a trip to visit this hidden gem of deliciousness.

Great variety of drinks. Parking lot is small/busy. I had the Arizona Sunset with boba and crystal boba. Flavor was okay. The mango strawberry smoothie was much more enjoyable.

Milk Run is my now my favorite go-to spot for cheap yummy boba! My boyfriend and I decided to check out Milk Run after finishing up dinner. Surprised that there was a line late at night, but I can def see why. The boba here is way cheaper than in California for $4.75 for a 24 oz and $5.25 for a 32 oz. We ended up getting the Tropical Iced Tea and Thai Tea. The Tropical Iced Tea was super refreshing. It's a peach, mango, pineapple iced tea with peach/mango bits and your choice of either black/green/jasmine tea. We got it with green tea and it was super yummy. The Thai Tea was also great as well. The only compliant I would have was that I wished the custard pudding was just as is and not chopped up. It was a different texture then what I'm used to when I add pudding to my boba. Overall, not bad! I def would come back and try their other drinks.

I love Milk Run! A bit of a whole in the wall spot in a small plaza with some other Asian businesses so if you drive too fast you may miss it! We hot the Thai Tea Freeze and the Passionfruit Green Tea and both were delicious. Service was friendly and even though we took our drinks to go there was plenty of seating inside and it was very clean and inviting!

My green tea was great, loved it! Will try again for sure. I took my order to go and everything seemed fine but I can't comment much on the ambiance and service further than that.

Milk run never fails to impress. I've lived in North Phoenix for about 3 years now, and this is hands-down the best boba spot here (and in Arizona). Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a HUGE menu with lots of unique drinks make Milk Run a standout. Some highlights are the milk tea floats (ice cream and boba!), the sparklers, and the Vietnamese coffee, but *everything* here is phenomenal. You can change the sweetness levels and customize your drinks as you wish. Milk run has phenomenal taro, Thai tea, and matcha flavors for those who know their stuff. This time around, we ordered the sea salt jasmine tea and the AZ sunset. Both were delicious. Please visit milk run and don't forget to thank your bobaristas!

I got the taro float with oat milk and vegan coconut ice cream. My friend the jasmine milk tea with soy milk. The boba float was so good and made the perfect treat to start off the summer. I'll definitely come back to try another drink and get something from the Vietnamese restaurant they're connected to!

First time in. They are connected to pho thanh so we stopped by after lunch. My son and I both got the sweet gold smoothie. I got the large with boba. The boba was fresh. You could still feel it was warm in the cup. Once it cooled down it was super yummy. The smoothy had good consistency of smoothy to pieces of fruit.. though it did melt a bit at the bottom due to the warm boba. The service was quick and friendly. There aren't a lot of places to sit though... So be aware of that. Also, with dome lids, the boba straw wasn't tall enough for the large so I couldn't enjoy it on my way home. Service 5/5 Quality 4.5/5 (kind of wish my drink hadn't been melted as much as it had...) Seating 3/5 (3-4 tables and two small benches. The benches were by the pick-up area) Enjoyment 4/5 (loved the drink... But the straw issue... Not so much. Need to do a flat lid for larges with boba.) Overall experience 4/5 Would I go back? Yes.

Love love love this place! This has by far been my favorite place to get a Thai tea (their Thai tea floats are also amazing). I also like that they have a reward system where you can easily get enough points for a free drink. It can get pretty packed and the place itself is on the smaller side but I've never had issues with getting my order quickly.

We absolutely love this place because it serves our all-time favorite ice cream flavor....Taro. It's definitely worth the trip from Surprise to get not just one or two pints, but a whole GALLON (although you won't see it in the picture) to take home. As an added bonus, we also tried their milk float, which is like a milk tea with the ice cream flavor on top - a delightful combination! We couldn't resist getting several taro milk teas to-go for our parents and sister. My nephew got a scoop of Cookie Monster ice cream with colorful sprinkles on top (not shown in the picture), and I decided to try something different today - the matcha milk tea with boba. It was incredibly refreshing, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We're already looking forward to our next visit to try another mouthwatering item from their menu. P.S. - They do military discount as well. Definitely supporting this establishment.

Got a lychee be peachy which was lychee/peach iced tea blended with jasmine tea and bits of fresh peach and lychee jelly. It was light, cold, and sweet, decent enough to drink. The jasmine tea taste was not noticeable though the iced tea taste was.

The Arizona heat is no joke! It was still warm out during the evening, so we went to grab a few refreshing drinks before heading back to the hotel. Milk Run is in a small plaza on the corner of 7th and Camelback. The parking lot was mostly full, you might have to wait until someone leaves. There's another lot behind the building if you give up. Just a short walk away. They are connected to the neighboring restaurant Pho Thanh. Inside you'll find a handful of tables and benches. Surfaces were sticky and not very clean, have your wet wipes ready. Good variety of milk teas, coffee, sparklers (carbonated lemonades), slushies, smoothies, sweet teas, and ice cream flavors to choose from. You can even get milk tea topped with ice cream. Toppings and dairy substitutes are available for additional charge. Peach Mangonada - a salty, sugary, sour slushie! Perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. The tamarind straw adds more spiciness and tartness to the drink. Classic Milk Tea - okay tea flavor with a decent silky consistency thanks to the milk The boba was chewy. Somewhat unsweetened though, I suspect it should've been soaked in the sugar syrup bath for a bit longer.

So happy I found this place! So many good Asian flavors and the ice cream looked DELICIOUS. I sampled a few flavors and they were super rich and creamy. The drinks were great and better than expected. I wish there was more searing, but that's my only complaint!

"DRINK CENTRAL!" Staff is helpful and accommodating. You pay for what you get so expect to spend $$ (I spend on average $8 per drink that includes tax) Location is clean and ambience is nice. Both drinks were good. No complaints. Refreshing and delicious. Definitely coming back to try more drinks!

I love their sparkling refreshers and their Thai tea with sea salt cream! I enjoy how the flavors balance so well in the refreshers and the taste of the fruit bits and jelly is great too. Service is always good and the place is so cute itself, it's fun to sit and drink your drinks right after!

These people have been here since they left Roosevelt Row in 2016.. they are excellent!! if midtown needs boba in the Camelback sector by the mall and 19th and down through 7th avenue towards the Fry's this place is it.

Taro Boba I got an it tastes so good 10/10 the best yet dose not fast bad or anything so sweet an yummy I recommend coming her more often if I come back

This place is amazing it's so delicious and they aren't selfish with their boba compared to other places this place is very good and not as expensive like other places, for example two large drinks were only 17$ and service was so quick, the workers there were nice and the drinks were ready in minutes, amazing and again so tasty!!!love it would definitely come back 10/10

I never had Vietnamese iced coffee with almond milk before. Menu choices are vast. So much to choose from.

The best boba shop I've been to in Phoenix! Affordable and a great variety. There was a long line when I went but it moved really quickly. Easy to see why this place is so popular I got the mango milk tea and chose jasmine tea as the base (other options were green and black tea). The boba itself was soft and chewy, it tasted fresh.

I was next door at Pho Thanh having lunch and decided to just walk over since they opening to Milk Run. I got the green tea with boba. It was very good and the large size was LARGE. They have ice cream and teas. It was clean, cute, and you can hang out in there too.

I stopped at the pho restaurant today. After I decided to stop into milk run. It's a tea house with boba options. They are nice and drink came fast. Got the AZ sunset & with mango boba. Pretty good.

Good bubble tea next to pho Thanh in Phoenix! Spacious inside, and the drinks came out fast. Prices are very reasonable and they have a big selection.

While at Milk Run Ice Cream, I sampled different ice creams and boba. The honey lavender ice cream stood out positively, but I wasn't a fan of taro or boba. The matcha boba and Tiger boba flavors didn't appeal to my taste. Despite the cute ambiance, I suggest improvement in the boba-making process, as it seemed the proportions and flavors were added randomly.

The teas here are great! Tbh there have been a few times I've gone and gotten the wrong order or the tea was worse than usual. But most of the time, it's great! I'd recommend the the Vietnamese coffee or the az sunrise!

I LOVE this place! I love being inside Milk Run, it is so fun and cool-looking and I enjoy it a lot. Their tarro drink is amazing, and I love their ice cream as well! I recommend this place to everyone because it's just so good. The service is always great and my drinks are always made quickly, even when it's extremely busy. I love it here.

My local Boba shop that I always hit up when I'm next door at the Asian Market, on camelback. Their UBE and BrownSugar are my denote go to's, though I'll flip to a Thai Ice Tea Boba to switch it up occasionally Their prices are good and they are reasonably fast, though the staff lacks and energy or true customer service engagement, not even a smile most days. Their counter order pick up is backwards so picking up you're clustered with people ordering. Maybe a pep talk on customer involvement and enthusiasm like Dutch Bros or In n Out both do extremely well Quality is very good though

This is my favorite boba spot. I've tried for 3 years to look for a good boba place and have found it! This is not your average boba place, it's more unique in what flavors and drinks they offer. I always want to try their different drinks but end up ordering their Matcha Float with lychee jelly. You can never go wrong with matcha + ice cream! The employees are always welcoming and happy to help each customer. I really wish they had a bigger place for everyone to hangout at because the line sometimes goes out their door!

Great menu from drinks to snacks! The space is always nice and clean with welcoming staff offering suggestions. This is my go-to whenever I'm in the area but you must come early enough as they do close early if you're craving a late night snack!
