My recommendation would be to avoid this hotel. As youncan see from my profile ive left alot of 5* reviews to help businesses but this is a 2* review due to how we were treated.
When you check in, you have to leave 1000 baht, this will then be held to randsom, as other reviews have pointed, they will aim to find damage to then try and take your deposit... 4* hotel?!?!
For us it was raining very heavily during our stay. There is no cover by the front door so when we got to the room, each time we took our shoes off at the door and then walked to the bathroom to hang our clothes. We then used a handtowel to dry the floor.
There was very, very light mud marks on the towel, 100% would have come out in the wash within a couple of mins. I wish I had taken a photo to show how little mark there was on the towel.
As we checked out, we werent allowed the 1000 bhat back, you have to wait for them to do a thorough inspection of the room.
The receptionist told us we then had to pay 250 bhat cleaning fee, to clean their towel?! (Not to replace, as she noted it would wash out). Flabbergasted I told her I was not paying cleaning fees for a hotel. She then said our only other option would be to take the towel to be washed and then bring it back clean and then we could get our money back.
There are lots of signs all over the hotel explaining how much damage for any breakage will cost. Next to the pool table there are two signs for pool damage costs. If you damaged one of the balls, it was roughly a £100 charge. Gives the place a very cheap feel.
We also asked for our room to be cleaned second day, wasnt done.
We asked for toilet roll as we started with just one, half full, wasnt done.
If youre happy to pay higher prices, I would recommend visiting the restaurant, its open to the public. Food was very good, staff were very attentive and the cockails were great
