Milky Bay Resort

The new set up and design is absolutely splendid. Being a big fan of South Africa obviously helps that. The staff has always been so friendly and they continue to be wonderful human beings, making your stay here - either at the resort or at the restaurant - so wonderful all the time.

Lovely resort in a good location. The room itself was really nice and had character and the whole resort was appealing to walk around. The pool and beach together was great to sit around in the day and we even got a free cocktail from the bar.Only one thing I could say was a negative was there was a slight smell coming from the drain in the bathroom in the room we stayed in but that’s if I’m really being picky.Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

lovely listing on booking.com with a lovely pool and a beach etc….|we arrived to no pool and no beach. you can see the sea but it’s also where the guys building this pool are washing their cement bowls out.|Ann is a great receptionist and really polite.|We were offered a free trip to a pool at a sister hotel which they couldn’t offer a room at despite there being rooms listed on booking.com and it being near empty when we got there.|We were told if we found another place to stay we could have a full refund. So we said okay let’s go to the pool and discuss our options.|We came back to the hotel and told the staff we’d like to leave and have our refund. the room had not been used, nothing in their hotel had been touched by us.|We were told because we arrived back after 17:30 we are going to be charged one night even tho we were literally with our bags checking out. Our taxi was also taking other guests to beach parties etc before our drop off which delayed the time we arrived back. they also tried to get us to pay 600 bhat for a cab when outside they’re 300 …. lol|Honestly the cheek of money grabbing scammers misinforming guests online to profit off of their disappointment.|Anyway, another trip in a shared taxi is always exciting and we gonna go party on haad rin instead.|don’t bother booking this place.|Waste of time and money and also spending on taxis to get here.|not good.

We stayed at Mily Bay Resort in August 2024 and have only great memories. We had a beachfront bungalow with a terrace. It wasn’t very large or luxurious, but it had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the food at the restaurant was delicious, and a nice bonus: the hotel offers a shuttle to and from the Full Moon Party. We would 100% recommend this place!

We didn't stay there but we had dinner there. It has a great atmosphere. The place is very beautiful. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The western food was good but I am not sure with Thai food. Great time at sunset.

Beautiful stay at Milky Bay I honestly couldn't fault any part of the experience. The self situated rooms were absolutely spotless and with so many little extras that blew me away. Perfect for anyone, families, solo travellers and couples. Not much of a beach but theres a nice spot with some loungers and then you can swim off into the sea just off from their restaurant area for any of you ocean lovers

Location superb! Food ok! Staff at the restaurant especially Lily...outstanding. Cleaning staff excellent! Staff at reception not friendly at all...they think highly of themselves. Why 2 stars for service...they charges us 400 bath for a so called bloodstain on the sheet wich was not so. In the reviews I saw that occurs frequently...be careful with that kind of little "rip offs" Milky bay. Can cost you a 🌟.

The rooms are very nice and the hotel backs onto the sea. The bar and restaurant, and cleaning staff are friendly. However the reception staff are quite cold, lacking the warm welcome you would expect from this level of hotel. They seem purely transactional, like they are working in a 711. I recommend sending the reception staff on a customer service training course.
