10 of the cutest dessert cafes in Tokyo - SilverKris

"A star- and galaxy-themed cafe offering sandwiches, desserts and drinks decorated with celestial motifs; the ice cream selection is varied and visually appealing, with toppings such as cheesecake pieces, waffles and chocolate stars, and large windows provide good people-watching in the lively Ikebukuro neighborhood." - James Wong

The drinks were ok, but the pastry/dessert was nice. Service was prompt, and the place was clean and tidy. However, there was a mosquito flying around, and I got bitten. Had to make a hasty retreat and leave the place.

Bit of a wait to get in, desserts looked just as good as they tasted. Drinks were just OK.

Love the zodiac sign based parfaits! We also had the Takoyaki Gratin - don't reccomend that one just because the mix of pasta, egg, and takoyaki was a bit odd. The Libra parfait was amazing though & the drinks were tasty too! Really reccomend this place on a hot day and when you're out with friends

The drinks and desserts are a little pricy but very tasty and worth the wait. There is a waitlist outside where you are requested to put your name in katakana so I recommend figuring that out before you go, but there is an english menu

There was a bit of a wait to get in and to order, because it was crowded. We had to wait outside and write a name on the reception book. Google translate can help you write your name in katakana. They call out your name when they're ready. Once in, we were seated and continued to wait until a waiter came to get our order. At first I thought they were avoiding us because we're foreigners but I think they were just really busy. It just seemed odd how long we were waiting, so we almost asked if we could order. They only take cash. Considering the prices it would've been better if they took cards. The food was pretty good. We got two parfaits based on the constellations. We also got the fries and pork katsu. The pork katsu wasn't great but the fries were nice and crispy. They also give sauce on the side; we got ketchup. The interior was really pretty with stars on the ceiling and walls. The side towards the street was full glass with a nice view from the second floor. They had an English menu as well. After ordering they gave us a sheet with cool horoscopes based on your astrology sign.

For those who loves to post foods on social media, this is the place for Insta-worthy desserts. As the shop name insists, the theme of the desserts are based on Constellations. Can see alot girls are here just for the dessert.

The Milky Way Cafe was definitely an amazing experience. The interior and decor are incredibly beautiful and gimmicky. You definitely feel like entering a little dream land. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Sadly, the Parfait was underwhelming. It looked beautiful but the flavor of the ice cream was lacking, it mostly just tasted like milk, and in my opinion there could have been a lot more whipped cream. For that price i expected a little more. I still don’t regret coming here though, the ambience was very nice and for anyone who enjoys cutesy food and decor, I definitely recommend this place.

I came in after shopping and it wasn't too busy. The cafe is the perfect spot to relax. It has a great view of the street below, which makes it a nice spot to watch people go by. They have an English menu with pictures. They had desserts based off of the horoscope signs, so I got the one based off of my own. They had drink options as well and I went for the apple ice tea. The presentation of the food is great. The cafe based off of the Milky Way had really cute items. The food tasted good too! This cafe is perfect for a break from shopping.
