Oh my gosh, I was so pleasantly surprised to find such good ice cream during our Big Bend trip. The owner was working and was very friendly and comes from several high end restaurants where she was the dessert expert. We got the Tiramiso Parfait and the Mango madness and a pint of honey lavender ice cream to go. Both sundaes were fantastic and we were both so happy. We do wish we had gotten a different to go ice cream as it wasn't bad but not as good as the other things we had there.

Really hit the spot after hiking all day! The Tropicana was my favorite with pineapple soft serve, fresh berries and candied lemon peel. We loved it so much we came back for pints of the grape sherbert and the Vietnamese coffee. You gotta give them a try when in town 😋

Best ice cream in town! Soft serve is homemade. I got the Hot Fudge Birthday Brownie because it was my birthday! So so tasty. Extensive menu to choose from and the woman who helped us was so friendly and passionate. Note: if you are taking your ice cream sundae home with you instead of eating it on the spot, it will melt and likely leak all over your car 😅 in the brown paper bowl it was served in (pictured), the melted ice cream leaks through the corner folds. Didn’t take away from how much enjoyed this place! Highly highly recommend!

Cute little ice cream trailer serving dessert in the desert. They even have dairy free options! I had the Tropicana which consisted of dairy free strawberry soft serve, fruit, candied lemon peel and a berry sauce. It was delicious and a super generous portion, you could probably split one between two people. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Grabbed a beer at Boathouse and noticed the truck. 10/10 would recommend!!! The vegan strawberry was the best and I didn’t expect them to have an option for me since I’m dairy free. My boyfriend says the normal vanilla is a 9/10.

Hands down one of our favorite stops in Terlingua! Milky Way Treats is a gem in the desert, and the woman running it is as sweet as the treats themselves. She made us feel so welcome—like we were stopping by a friend’s place for dessert. We tried a few flavors and loved them all, but the tiramisu ice cream is bomb—so creamy and rich, with just the right coffee kick. And the blueberry cheesecake? Absolute favorite. Perfect balance of tangy and sweet, with real blueberry flavor and that cheesecake swirl… we’re still dreaming about it. If you’re anywhere near Terlingua, do not miss this place. It’s small, friendly, and full of heart (and amazing ice cream). We’ll be back for sure!

MUST try when you're in Terlingua. She's also made a few birthday cakes for us that were so good. She even took the time to put a few special touches on my birthday cake just to make it even more perfect. Love all the different flavors - you can't go wrong with anything! And the service with all the smiles are the whip cream on top!

Out of this world ! Best ice cream in town! Only open sat-mon so be mindful of the hours 4-9 pm. Definitely worth it though, it's hand made ice cream so super decadent. Amazing stuff, staff and owner super friendly too. Great place, Definitely coming back to try more flavors 😋 😀 it was my birrthddday so they even added a candle 🕯🥳 🎉

Yelp
Fun converted food truck in Terlingua Ghost Town. We headed over here after lunch and a morning/afternoon of exploring the Ghost Town. We arrived 15 mins before they opened but we were kindly greeted and told they were getting ready but would open up a little earlier for us. While we waited a bit, we explored the ruins at the campground next door. Their menu consists of soft serve with lots of fun toppings and additions. Also have shakes and pup cups. The Sundae Specials Menu with fun and creative sundaes/"parfaits" drew me in. I had a hard time narrowing it down but decided on the "Tiramisu Parfait." Such a good choice. The layers of deliciously soaked lady fingers and vanilla ice cream dusted with cocoa powder was a dream. Their vanilla is so creamy and decadent. Days later and I find myself feeling sad that I live 7 hours away from this magical place. My five-year-old ordered a vanilla and chocolate cone with star sprinkles and had the time of his life devouring eh-ver-y bit. We enjoyed a Willy Nelson sighting, or a local cowboy who looked just like him sighting, who dropped in while we were there and ordered a vanilla cone and shared a friendly greeting. Great local vibe. We took our ice cream across the street to enjoy it while we explored more ruins. A must-stop if you're visiting Terlingua.

Yelp
Best desert in the dessert! Cute little ice cream trailer. Loved that they had dairy free options. 10/10 recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
I loved the ice cream. I got a medium soft serve and I think it was a good size. A lot of options for toppings and there are example combinations for people to choose from as well. The view was amazing. The woman we spoke to was very nice and inviting l. I will say though their hours are kinda random depending on what week it is. Like spring break they're open every day but I think they're only open three days a week other than that. I'm not honestly sure. But amazing place.

Yelp
We loved being able to visit this spot to get ice cream while we were staying in Terlingua. We went two nights in a row! The servings are huge and the staff is friendly. Although they only had vanilla soft serve while we were there (besides the flavors you can buy by the pint), there was a ton of toppings to pick from which is so fun. They have an area where you can sit and eat or we took ours and ate it while we walked around town.

Yelp
Delicious, super creamy soft serve, and super friendly vibes. The dairy free pineapple soft serve was so refreshing, and I loved the funfetti sundae with upside pineapple funfetti cake! One of the most fun food stops on our road trip.

Yelp
Our local Jeep guide recommended this soft serve food truck. There's some parking and a few cute tables and chairs. We went yesterday and tried both the lemon crazy sundae and snickerdoodle sundae, both delicious. Their topping combos are great and the homemade soft serve tastes like a rich vanilla ice cream. Liked it so much we went back tonight and tried the strawberry shake and caramel shake. They were just as good, if not better. Service was quick and friendly. Wish we could bring them back home with us!
