Here's the concise version: The front desk staff is very kind and considerate; the breakfast has a wide selection; the rooms are big and comprehensive; the rooms are high quality and cheap; the internet is fast.
Now the longer version:
We hit a deer and had to go to a Firestone in Sheridan. Next door was the Mill Inn. Being college students, we were apprehensive as we walked through the doors--this looked like a hotel that would charge $100-$130 a night, and we were only prepared to spend about $75-80. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we got a room for only about $75 (before tax)! Ah, we thought. There must be something strange about the hotel... But when we got up to our room, there were two neatly made beds in a rather large hotel room. There was a TV (which we did not try), curtains and blackout curtains, a vanity, a bathroom with a bath and shower, a fridge, a microwave, and fast internet. Everything looked so clean that I felt completely comfortable staying here.
We ended up staying two nights. I saw a review on here about the breakfast being bad and I have no idea where that person went, but it wasn't here! The breakfast was great. It's true that there weren't many people there, but the food selection was excellent. It had similar quality to other Continental Breakfasts, but they also included peaches, strawberries, whipped cream, and a donut maker (which I had never seen before and would be great for kids).
So our car was supposed to be ready today, but Firestone didn't give us an exact time that it would be ready. Checkout at the MI is at 11am, so we were understandably concerned about where we would put our luggage in the meantime. We talked to the front desk, and they gave us a late checkout and also offered a place to store our luggage in case the car wasn't ready by the time we checked out. They were altogether considerate and kind, working with us to the utmost of their ability. (The first day we were here, we mentioned we were without a car and they offered us a ride.)
