Inexpensive to visit, so you have money left to buy indigenous art for souvenirs. I really liked Alan Syliboy's work. There's a lot to read and everything is in Mi'kmac as well as English. Glooscap figures large here. He's interestingly portrayed in the 18 minute video, and of course out in the back, he is standing tall to awe and inspire visitors.

It's a small museum, we started by visioning a video. Then we could see the different installations. Some of the "stands" were empties. But it's only 6$ per person for the visit so we can't complain. The staffs are very nice.

Excellent museum with super-smart docents, anxious to tell the story of these First Nations people's thousands of years of history in the Maritimes. Very nice audio-visual presentation, great exhibits and super-cool Museum shop with native crafts at affordable prices. It's just off the highway and well worth a visit.
