Millennium Park

Went for a much needed walk and was treated to a beautiful rainbow after a short torrential rain. The park offers plenty of parking, a boat/canoe/kayak launch, soccer fields, a beautiful updated playground with multiple accessibility options.

Walking trails are both paved and unpaved, good for carriages and dog walking. Some paths have inclines, others do not. Paths circle around sports areas, limited parking during sports events. Forested dirt trails go through areas where you can see remnants of land fill from big dig and lots of waterfowl. Some painted turtles and lots of garter snakes on nice days.

Excellent place to walk the dog. Nice paved, scenic paths. Can get busy and lots of people with dogs playing off leash. But the lower trail is peaceful and not as busy.

I enjoy the walk along the Charles River. There is a canoe launch and animal life, including a family of otters, beavers, and occasionally, a great blue heron, as well as swans. The trails lead to meadows and glorious marshes! There are some truly magical views to be seen and every time I take that walk I am blown away by the pictorial magnificence on display in the city of Boston's park at Millennium in West Roxbury. The seasonal changes to plant life, and the water views are amazing. An update, today I had the pleasure of seeing an ibis, a type of crane often seen in Egyptian heiroglyphs. It was a truly a beautiful bird which I got to observe at length.

A huge beautiful park . It is well maintained and has a big parking lot 🅿️. You can come take your dog for a nice long walk .

Great walk today with Bali the dog it was warm and the park is clean and lots of trails and hills I don’t know why but Bali the dog had a really happy there

My Family love this park lot! It's huge and you can sit anywhere during summer and Spring. During Winter months they also clean the pathway and put salt so it's not slippery!

Beside the beautiful nature, you can enjoy a peaceful walk around the park or listening to the river. The best time of the year? All year round. This park has 3 levels, the upper one has a playground with 2 always clean cubicles with toilets, sanitizer and toilet paper. Walking on the bottom path there are other paths that you can follow but just be aware because one of them will lead you to a different place, out of the park...I think it takes you to another city. I have visited the park for more than 20 years and I have never had an unsafe or bad experience.
