"Miller Brothers is a tiny, seafood shack off the water that's easy to miss on busy Forest Avenue. The overstuffed lobster roll is available in two sizes (small or large), and either traditional (mayo), Connecticut (butter), or dry. This is truly a local spot, and won't bring the tourist throngs of a Luke's or an Eventide . Miller Brothers is a great choice if you're looking to surprise a Portland food tourist with something that's truly off the beaten path." - Joe Ricchio

Had an amazing dinner at this small order-at-the-counter place that had great reviews and didn't disappoint. For three people, we split the Miller Brothers platter, which we upgraded to add more -- and we got a mountain of fried scallops, clams, shrimp, and haddock. They have numerous sauces available for dipping, which makes the food even better. Chef Mike was very helpful in making sure we had a great experience. Can't wait to go back!

Had the lobster roll, which was incredibly large and delicious; the scallops, which were the best I’ve ever had, and the home made onion rings that were as good as they are large. Get place, great guys working in there, and our first stop from the airport whenever we come to Portland in the future.

I'm from Baltimore, Maryland, where we think Old Bay is king. Let me tell you that these scallops were the best I've ever had. What a jewel in the rough. This firecracker scallop dish should be served in all of the top restaurants! Fantastic! Do not judge the place by the storefront!

The austere surroundings of this hole-in-the-wall betray its vibrant flavors.  A 4 oz lobster roll was dressed perfectly with shredded lettuce, letting freshness and flavors shine. Scallops were seared to perfection, delivered to apply lemon or salt as desired.  Even the batter and fry of onion rings hit just right.  No filler!  Prices pair fairly with the quality of ingredients- lunch for 3 was $60.  Locals came and left with their orders, smirking at the pleasure on our faces: Forgive us, it's been a while since we tasted the real deal, no hype.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while visiting Portland and I think I found my new favorite restaurant. Everything we tried today was super fresh and cooked to perfection. The star of the show was the seared scallops, which I can safely say were the best I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned, fresh, juicy and simply amazing. The clam chowder is great, not too creamy or thick. All the side dishes had the freshness and quality as the main dishes. Potato salad, onion rings, even the fries and roll were all awesome. To top the the whole experience off the owners are super nice. Thanks for the awesome lunch.

Absolutely delicious! I got the small lobster roll and it was stuffed to the brim (and more). Such a great deal, and the food is quality. The onion rings are well seasoned, and the fries have the fish-batter style that I love. Would definitely recommend Miller Brothers Seafood if you're in the Portland area.
