A fantastic spot for authentic local cuisine! The restaurant uses a variety of Indian grains to recreate traditional dishes with a healthier, fresher twist. The dal bati churma (made with millet bati) and the millet khichdi were both absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy flavorful, wholesome traditional rajasthani food.

I will recommend this place if you want to have one of the best dal bati churma. The blue ambience is very aesthetic and calming. If you want to add lunch plans to your itinerary, this restaurant is just outside the Udai palace, follow gmaps and you will find it. The staff was also nice. Another recommendation for here is their millet khichadi. It is very delicious and also the chaas is mind blowing.

Tried the fried rice here, and it was decent—not bad, but not particularly outstanding either. The flavors were okay, but nothing too memorable. That said, the place seems worth trying for other dishes, as the quality is reasonable. If you're looking for a casual meal, it could be a good option. Service and ambiance were fine too. Will likely explore more from the menu next time!

Millets of Mewar is more than just a restaurant—it feels like home! The food is absolutely divine, made with so much care and attention to detail. The owner is very kind and genuinely understands what customers need and customizes dishes to perfection. When we requested a South Indian-style curd rice, they prepared a millet and curd version that tasted out of this world! The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with the friendly and polite staff, makes dining here a truly comforting experience. After eating here, there’s no chance of feeling homesick—it’s like a home away from home. A must-visit in Udaipur for anyone who loves good food made with love! Whether you’re looking for healthy options or just amazing taste, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended! Thank you very much sunny for making our stay at Udaipur memorable 🙏🏻😇

The Unफेंक Reviewer Beautifully delicious food with decent service and calming atmosphere The thoughtfully curated limitedly enough options menu is fantastic! The chef recommended dishes are must try! Salad, Millet bhel, Dal Baati Churma, Thai Noodles or even Brownie are all exceptional at reasonable price given the use of healthy and delicious millets! Their concept of cooking and serving millets is a whole new approach towards our Indian cuisines from a health perspective. In terms of service, there is a one man army which sometimes may not be enough. Although he doesn’t make you feel short of anything. But, his absence is felt sometimes. Having said that, we were told that 2 employees were on leave and new employees are being trained. Since the name includes “Mewar” ambiance / atmosphere is where it falls slightly short. Yes the decor feels good Rajasthani but twerks are definitely needed given you are located in Udaipur, which is such a creative and artistic city! O.S. The prices do not burn a hold in your pocket :)

Tried the Dal Batti Churma thali at Millets of Mewar and really enjoyed it, flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. The place has a nice vibe, but the prices are definitely on the higher side. Good food, just be prepared to spend a bit more than you usually would for this thaali.

Update after going here for a year : This place is one of those few restaurants that stays consistent in their taste and quality, this is and probably will always be our top favourite, the best food and service in udaipur. Original : Wanted to try something new, so we went to millets of mewar, near Jagdish mandir. There are two seating options, one is rooftop and second is AC hall, we opted for AC hall as it was a bit hot out. Atmosphere is warm nd cozy. Now the main point, Food. We tried lemon coriander soup, millet veg tikki, millet wrapand on suggestion of Ajoy, we tried Pad thai noodles. The soup was okay, full of veggies. Tikki was very delicious, wraps were made of millets and had a filling of veggies in some kind of Chinese sauce. Nd the Pad thai noodles, which they make from scratch, were really a new and fresh taste for us. Ajoy gave us a very warm welcome and lead us through the menu, overall it was a really good experience.

We ordered 2 things and both were good, the tiki and pizza , however would have loved the tiki and chutney to be separate. The food was interesting and quite nice
