Millets of Mewar is a nice and cozy place with polite staff. It’s very close to City Palace, so it’s a convenient stop after sightseeing. We ordered Dal Baati and Pizza. They use organic and gluten-free ingredients, which is great if you like healthy food. But as a core Indian who loves strong spicy flavors, the Dal Baati didn’t have that traditional Rajasthani taste we were expecting. The pizza was good though, and we enjoyed it. We also tried watermelon juice, and it tasted pure — no extra sugars or artificial flavors. Overall, a good spot for clean and healthy eating, but don’t expect the usual spicy Rajasthani touch.

Being an outsider finding a good & healthy food in udaipur is a big task. They don't use maida in pizza 🍕 , pad thai noodles were also too good , we did alot of experiments as a tourist but coming here was a great experiment!! A must visit place in udaipur

This place is one of the best you can find near City Palace, after a tiring session of long walks and taking pictures 😄 As evident from the name itself, try anything based on millets. I ordered pasta and millet veg biryani. Pasta had less vegetables than expected but millet biryani was unique and very tasty.

Sunny - the owner of this restaurant shared his experience about running the place. His story of resilience in this industry is amazing. The food is fusion between the modern and traditional roots of Rajasthan. Must try place if you are looking for a good ambience.

Update after going here for a year : This place is one of those few restaurants that stays consistent in their taste and quality, this is and probably will always be our top favourite, the best food and service in udaipur. Original : Wanted to try something new, so we went to millets of mewar, near Jagdish mandir. There are two seating options, one is rooftop and second is AC hall, we opted for AC hall as it was a bit hot out. Atmosphere is warm nd cozy. Now the main point, Food. We tried lemon coriander soup, millet veg tikki, millet wrapand on suggestion of Ajoy, we tried Pad thai noodles. The soup was okay, full of veggies. Tikki was very delicious, wraps were made of millets and had a filling of veggies in some kind of Chinese sauce. Nd the Pad thai noodles, which they make from scratch, were really a new and fresh taste for us. Ajoy gave us a very warm welcome and lead us through the menu, overall it was a really good experience.
