Lazy Weekday Brunch at Millie’s Lounge, The Ned Doha We went to Millie’s Lounge for a lazy weekday brunch, and honestly, the ambience alone deserves its own five-star rating. The outdoor seating looks like the lovechild of a tropical resort and a Pinterest board — wooden furniture, lush greenery, and those iconic white-and-green striped cushioned chairs that practically whisper, “Sit. Relax. Pretend you’re on vacation.” I could happily live there for a few hours… which I did. The vibe is peaceful, quiet, and just the right amount of bougie without feeling intimidating. Even the breeze felt like it was trained by The Ned. The staff were genuinely lovely — kind, smiling, and attentive without hovering. The sort of service that makes you feel welcome, not watched. Food-wise, the menu is limited but decent. We ordered the fish & chips, chicken paillard, and the cheeseburger. Taste-wise? Let’s say it wasn’t life-changing, but it was comforting enough. If you’re looking for fireworks, this isn’t it — more like soft fairy lights. The drinks, though — the passion fruit mojito and fresh orange juice — were refreshing and perfectly done. And the tiramisu? A sweet little finale that saved the day. So overall: Food: 3.5/5 Ambience + Peace + Aesthetic Therapy: 10/5 Would I come back? Absolutely. Not for the culinary adventure, but for the calm, the quiet, the greenery, and that effortless relaxing vibe that makes you feel like you briefly escaped Doha without actually leaving it. Perfect spot for a slow brunch or a long, lazy conversation.

I would like to highlight and thank Ayman for his extraordinary service and dedication to his work his hospitality was above and beyond any other employee that we met before , such a nice guy and kind person I would like to inform the management to keep employees like him because he’s excellent in dealing with people such humble and kind and respectful person you guys are lucky to have him, he made our night unforgettable . Otherwise the cookies dessert that we took wasn’t like we expected 6/10 Victoria cake was 9/10 atmosphere was great quite and wonderful but I will definitely come back

Nice place for brekafast outdoor And indoor looks nice in a very nice hotel classic Egg benedict Sajuk Hallomi Shakshuka Foul and humous All tasted good espacially hallomi abd benedict But u need to salt it up My note the waiters shall give more attention to guests for their needs

The entire hotel is like a time capsule. Great retro feel. The live band adds to the retro experience. Seems very popular among the local citizens .The coffee at Millie's lounge was a wonderful experience. The outdoor sitting has good views of the Doha Skyline. The staff is very efficient and helpful.

5 out of 5, it’s on the expensive side but the atmosphere is out of this world! Especially in the outside dining, the view outside is the best and at night it has dim and subtle lighting which is delightful. Not to mention it’s also good for breakfast or just for dessert or for a birthday dinner, I went here on my birthday and it was okay. But if you wanna go at night, I recommend between 8-10 or make a reservation so you have an available seat. Overall this place should totally be in your list of where to go next.

Excellent spot overlooking doha skyline. Although it was packed on Thursday but Kawthar managed to change our table. Saw and Andrey were very helpful too with our orders. And finally can't forget Nilsema whom escorted us out with the big smile.i advise to go for the afternoon tea as they replenish your sandwiches for free.

For a place that claims to be a luxury hotel and fine-dining restaurant, this was absolutely unacceptable. Waiting 40 minutes for a menu, then being told they’re too busy to take orders, is not “busy” — it’s poor management. A so-called upscale place should know how to handle guests properly. Extremely disappointing experience.

We would like to thank the staff at Millie’s Restaurant, especially Mohammed. We had an amazing time from the moment we sat down. We were warmly welcomed, and he was very engaging and attentive. He helped us choose from the menu and gave great recommendations, as it was our first time here. We will definitely come back. Thank you!
