Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse

We celebrated our engagement here and what an amazing time! We had great service from the host to our server, Cole, she was amazing! We were seated and ordered a glass of wine each. From there we were brought dinner rolls and then our meals. I got the grilled steak tenderloin it is to DIE for. Best steak ever. My fiancé ordered the bison flank steak, it was a little tough but still good. We shared the truffle fries and mac and cheese. Your pants will be needing to be unbuttoned by the end of this meal. We finished it off with the brownie for dessert and some very full belly’s for the drive back to the hotel.

The best service you could ask for! Came in without a reservation and the staff was able to find a space. The waiter was AMAZING! He was super friendly and gave good recs. Attention to service was top notch, very keen eye on small details. Food was 10/10, everything was fresh and good quality and tasty. The whole vibe and energy was so great. This place is fantastic!

Scrumptious!!! Our server gave us awesome recommendations:) my friend and I tried a bit of everything. Our favorite (besides our mains) was definitely the Mac and cheese! Hopefully will be able to come back and try more sometime :)

Giving this a 4 instead of a 3 just because it is such a legendary spot. This restaurant is right in the heart of Jackson. You can sneak into the cowboy bar after your dinner via the restrooms (the bar and restaurant have joint restrooms) Food was average. For its price, it was below average. It was on the expensive side. But the whole town is pretty expensive so if you’re okay with that you might disagree with me. The steak was good but nothing special. The restaurant had lots of options, including nice fish options. Fish and steaks come as a single piece of meat, so make sure to order sides (this also does not help the pricing). Otherwise, great atmosphere and cool spot. Love that it gets you access to the bar which is worth checking out.

The servers are very attentive. The ribeye was 10/10 fantastic. The risotto with mushrooms is heavy on the mushrooms, but good. The mixed berry cobbler was mind blowingly good. Highly recommend!

Wow - huge contrast to the bar upstairs. The atmosphere is “upscale steakhouse”. The service at the bar was incredible and the food was delightful. We had a great time celebrating our anniversary. The bartender told me they’re known for their cast iron ribeye, so of course I ordered that. It was very good, although I’d probably try something different next time. The Brussels appetizer was phenomenal. My husband had the lobster tail, which he said was so overcooked it had the consistency of chicken, but then again, maybe we shouldn’t have ordered lobster in Wyoming. He loved the grilled corn! The bartender brought us a complimentary bread pudding dessert in honor of our anniversary, which was very kind. Overall, it was a positive experience and we would return.

A much quieter experience from all the events of the bar upstairs. The food was flavorful and delicious, although both cuts of meat were undercooked. They did take the steak back and fire it a bit longer, but for the price we paid, it should have come out perfect the first time. Service was excellent, and an enjoyable atmosphere.

What an experience! Feels like an old western steakhouse but upscale and sophisticated. Hakan K served us a beautiful meal and had lovely conversation. They had a special of wagyu coulotte which was absolute perfection. Everything was high quality.

I had such a lovely experience here! I ordered the NY sirloin and French fries. The food was so good! The servers were very attentive and helpful. The place is SO cute! It's so spacious, definitely a place for gathering and socializing.

Recent dinner before Christmas and dinning room was full. Our waiter was excellent explaining special dinner and drink items. Although this can be a touristy place, it works well for a family outing. Our entrees were prepared as specified medium rare. The fish was done well too. The side items can definitely be shared amongst 2-3 people. The beets were overflowing with cheese and the arched bacon did not add any flavor, just too much. We paired these with a nice cab and enjoyed the evening. PS:: get you hand stamped so you go upstairs and listen or dance to music.

Fun experience, food excellent, service top notch. Stopped in this summer for a birthday celebration, thought it would be a good idea to make reservations and it was. Lots of people waiting for a table. The reservation process was easy and efficient, included a call back to confirm party size (7 adults, 4 kids) and time. Things happen, plans change so I appreciated the effort. The table ordered an assortment of entrees including steak, salads, kids meals, I had the burger, it was perfect. Finished with dessert and a candle to celebrate another milestone. Overall, very enjoyable, spent the rest of the evening strolling through town and taking in a memorable summer night in Jackson

When you visit Jackson Hole you have to stop by the Million Dollar Cowboy bar! Complete western cowboy experience with horse saddles for bar seating. Maybe not the most comfortable seating, but fun for sure. Especially with the great staff who not only tolerate tourists, but are happy to serve you. The food and drinks are above average, as well as the staff. These pluses along with the fun atmosphere make it worth the stop.

A must experience place in JH. Bar upstairs is a party full of colorful characters. Steakhouse downstairs is more refined with excellent food and service. Give it a go!

I'm usually skeptical about tourist destinations like this one. The food was good for a steakhouse but nothing impressive. I will add that the service was lovely. Everyone was very attentive and quick to fulfill our requests! Our experience was tainted by a loud bachelorette party but what else would you expect from Jackson. I'd recommend the restaurant just to say you've been there but other than that, personally I thought it was overhyped, especially for the prices.

It was a traditional steakhouse. The server was pleasant and knowledgeable. Steak was cooked perfectly. The table was a bit small and room was crowded. They are obviously a popular spot.

I made dinner reservations for a Monday night at 8pm at Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse. The occasion for dinner was to celebrate our friend's birthday, and I felt that the overall experience was fine. The Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse had the charm of a saloon but still felt upscale and elegant. Our party of 4 sat comfortably in a booth, which made for a nice, intimate dinner. Service was great. Food came out in a timely manner, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Making cocktails isn't their forte. I just felt that the consistency was off. I got the huckleberry lemonade, which was way too sweet. Then when I got the Midnighter Dram that was way too sour. I was better off getting wine or beer. The food was mediocre at best. We got lamb pops and mini crabcakes to share. The lamb was better than the crab cakes, and it had a great sweet dipping sauce. My husband got a ribeye for his entree, which was cool. Nothing special about the meat itself. Dipping the steak in a combo of fried garlic and bearnaise made for a delicious bite. I've had elk throughout my trip at Jackson and thought that this was the best prepared version of elk I've had. For a lean meat, I thought that the elk was incredibly tender. The huckleberry sauce was a nice touch. We had the banana bread pudding as the dessert for table. It was tasty but basic.

Bison Ribeye was the best steak I've had in my life. Cole is THE BOMB, ask for her. If you can get in, do it, you won't be disappointed

I ate at the Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse in Jackson and ordered the bison flank steak with chimichurri and Yukon Gold mashed potatoes. The steak was really good -- a little gamey, but that's what I expected with bison, and it was still tender and flavorful. The chimichurri went perfectly with it. The mashed potatoes were honestly amazing, super creamy with that Parmesan on top. The bartender was a great host and very knowledgeable. Overall, a really solid meal and definitely something I'd order again.

Came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Loved the huckleberry mocktail. I got the bison flank steak with mashed potatoes. My husband got the ribeye. They gave us free dessert of our choice- the brownie. Fun experience!

Found this off of TikTok. The Bar is upstairs (go early for a table) the steakhouse is downstairs. We were very disappointed. My steak was very tough (I had the ny strip) my husband had kansas city steak, it too was tough. Could barely cut it and it was so hard to chew. Service was ok. We were very rushed. Appetizers came before our cocktails. Judge for yourself, but I wont go back.

The atmosphere and service were great! I had the beef tenderloin which was cooked to order and had great flavor. My husband got the cast iron steak that he ordered medium rare and unfortunately it was a little overcooked for his liking. It was a good experience but not the best steak we've had.

If you're look for a fancy date night, come here!! Warning, long review! The restaurant is downstairs, and the area is bigger than it first seems. With lower lighting and comfy booths, it's a very nice atmosphere. It had a good sound level when we went there. It wasn't too loud, but it wasn't quiet to the point you felt afraid to talk. The staff were fantastic! Very attentive, and not just our waiter. If any staff saw we needed something (plates taken, drinks filled), they acted. They worked like a well oiled machine & were hustling but not frantic. We were there on Memorial Day, so it was likely busier than usual. They handled it like champs! Now.... The food. Oh my god. Definitely pricey, but DEFINITELY worth it. I have 0 bad things to say about anything we ate. It was probably the best food we've had in quite some time. Very hard to pick a favorite thing. Here's what we ate... Mini Crab Cakes - Must have appetizer. Small but wonderful. Breading was perfect and no overwhelming crab taste. Sauce that comes with it is good too; adds a little kick! It also comes w/ a grilled lemon. Definitely use it! Mac & Cheese - Husbands side for his meal. Oh my gosh. Delicious. Wonderfully creamy but not overly so. Perfect noodles, probably the best Mac & cheese we've ever had. Roasted Mushrooms - My side for my meal. Great texture, not drowning in sauce. Paired really well with my main course. They don't skimp on mushrooms either, there's more than I was anticipating! Cast Iron Ribeye - Husbands main course. You know when you taste something so good, you have to stop, close your eyes and look to the heavens? Yeah. This was it. He's pretty picky about steak & he LOVED it. Cooked to perfection (medium rare), hot all the way through. Great flavor, didn't even need the steak sauce that comes on the side. Beef Tenderloin w/ Added Bleu Cheese - My main course. Same as his, I was literally dancing in my seat as I ate it. Cooked perfect (medium rare again), so tender. Flavor was fantastic, even more pronounced by the bleu cheese. Which, by the way, literally best bleu cheese I've ever had. And they give you enough to actually eat some with every bite. I added some of my mushrooms to the mix..... Heavenly! Crème Brûlée - Literally the best I've ever had, I cannot begin to make you understand how good it actually is. I LOVE crème brûlée, but it's hard to do it right. The texture is off, or it tastes burnt due to the sugar layer. This one though... Amazing. Perfect creamy texture & flavor. Perfect crust to custard ratio. You can literally see the fresh vanilla in it. 10/10 Triple Chocolate Brownie w/ peanut butter marscapone - We actually didn't order this! They knew we were on our honeymoon and gave us a free one! So kind of them. Like everything else. It was amazing. Warm, dense but somehow fluffier than your average brownie. The PB marscapone was a lovely pairing, and tasted like peanut butter, but 10 notches up on the fancy scale. Made us wish we had left more room for it! Our meal was around $180 without tip, which I think was SO worth it. Way more expensive than most places we eat, but it's hard to complain when everything was this good. If we're ever back in Jackson, this is going to be the first place I get a reservation for.

Honestly I was disappointed! The elk tenderloin was good, but the filet that went by looked and smelt waaayyy better They are horrible at making drinks even tho theres a whole bar down there. My ranch water was awful and they WILL NOT make the drinks from the Million Dollar Cowboy bar menu upstairs (same establishment, but they apparently cant go up there and get drink or make the same ones - odd to me). There is not a ton of seating, so make reservations. you walk in the main bar doors then immediately down the stairs to the basement. Its typical steakhouse dip lit, comfy chairs and good ambience. Idk. I just thought for the price point I was going to walk out wowed. And I cannot say that happened.

If you're craving for steak, this would be a good place for you to try. Conveniently located by Jackson Town Square, the restaurant is directly below the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and only open for dinner. Besides the list of steaks, they have a good selection of appetizers as well as wine and cocktails. The service was also top-notch.

I showed up and sat at the bar on Christmas Eve with my family. After sitting down and ordering drinks, we were told that we had to leave because of a reservation although we were told that we could sit there without a reservation. We were two minutes away from ordering our food before they asked us to leave. The service is terrible and they were rude to my mother on the way out. I will never take my family back.

New Years Eve dinner Made a reservation for 9, they got us in early at 8:30. The ambiance was great, service was wonderful and servers were very attentive, especially nice on a busy night. We ordered the Mini Crab Cakes, Trout and Prime Rib. All delicious!!!!

This steakhouse is not just a meal, rather a true dining experience. The ambience is pure Wyoming and you feel immersed in the state's culture when you're here. The bar and wait staff are on top of it, ready to tackle whatever you ask of them. They make amazing drinks, chat with you, and make suggestions as you're ordering. I got the pork porterhouse and they told me exactly which sides pair well with it. The manager checked in multiple times as well. It's a bit hidden and feels away from the noise of the tourism town it's located in. It's expensive but worth every dollar.

I was hoping for a lot more. This place had great reviews on every website, but all in all I won't be coming back or recommending this to others. My NY Strip was cooked the way I ordered it, but it was not as tender (or warm) as a steak at that price should be. The brussel sprouts were cold. The ber aide I ordered was bland. The house steak sauce was very good, and the elk was fine. The service was nothing to complain about, but it was still not as good as other, less "high dining" establishments I visited the other days. Ambiance was nice, I can give it that. All in all, we should have gone elsewhere, and I think you should too.

We went in June 2025 with online reservations. We were promptly seated, then re-seated as we don't like tables where one person is on a long bench seat and the other is across the table (and they can stack multiple tables in a row). We were moved to a table in the middle of the room which was fine. The service was excellent. Our waitress Loretta took the time to chat with us (learning a little about us, and we learned about her! Hi to her golden retriever "Cody" by the way!). She gave great suggestions for the meal...from restaurant favorites to featured entrees (everything is A La Carte!). The meal was not rushed, and we had great service as well from the assistants make sure glasses were full and dishes picked up promptly when finished. The food was very good. As might see in our picture, we enjoyed elk tenderloin, a huckleberry sauce duck and grilled asparagus. All were excellent! Forgot to take a picture of the coconut shrimp! Wow! HUGE and tasty! Finally we need to bring up Chris, the manager. Ok, why the manager? Because he's good at what he does! He is at every table, several times during the meal, conversing with you but more importantly, making sure you are absolutely happy! (Since Covid, it seems the only time you see a manager is when you request them for a problem!). What's his goal? He wants you to come back!!! Fun to talk with and watching his work ethic was enjoyable (now who says that?!!!) Ok, I do have one negative. Again, I'm being honest. Pricing. The Elk tenderloin was $61. The duck was $39 and the 10 pieces of asparagus were $15. The 3 jumbo coconut shrimp were $18. The glass of fairly common Chardonnay was $16. A can of local beer was probably the most fairly priced at $8. Most entrees were minimum $40+ and again this is a la Carte. Will we return? Yes, but a little more prepared for prices (hence 4 out of 5 stars). There are a lot of restaurants in town. Some have better prices. Some the same. Your choice!

First time back in many years, & exactly like I remember. Food & service was fantastic. Got the skillet ribeye & loaded potato. Steak was perfectly cooked & flavorful.

My favorite steakhouse in Jackson. Love the ambience, food is wonderful, and service is impeccable. Look forward to eating here when in Jackson.

Food was great, wait staff was polite. Hostess, Cristina was less than ideal in service. We had a party of 7, we called and she informed us that we could be accommodated for our desired time, but a later time. We arrived prior to opening and after trading seating with Another group we were close to each other. At the end of out dinner Cristina asked if we could leave because the table was needed. Of note there were 3 tables, with the same capacity of our tables that were not occupied during our dinner. Poor hospitality

Food was fantastic. Service was wonderfully friendly and attentive. Non stop water filling- excellent. It was slightly too dark for me personally but I suppose it's somewhat common or expected in steakhouse. We ordered: Elk filet Bison flank Bison ribeye Filet Cheeseburger Mashed potatoes Mushroom Fries Mac n cheese Carrots Creme brûlée Chocolate brownie with peanut butter Flan Glad we stoped by and would return.

Arrived at 12:45 and my food arrived at 1:55pm. Not acceptable since I had to run to the tour bus.

The steaks were amazing. Perfect med. Rare One person at the table got trout and it wasn't what she was expecting. They offered to bring her anything else from the menu and comp the trout. Our server, Hakan, was incredibly nice and helpful. The Maitre' D was fun, helpful, and very informative. The ambiance is elegant cowboy.

Staff was nice, huckleberry cocktail was fantastic and my husband loved the trout. My steak was very undercooked and same with the person sitting next to us at the bar. For a steakhouse, getting temperatures correct when paying $40+ for a cut, you'd expect the chefs would have this down or at least use a meat thermometer. Not entirely worth it unfortunately, but lots of places are closed here in April apparently . Oh well....

Service was spot on. Served drinks appetizers and dinner with Minimal wait time. Ordered Wagyu steak and Tenderloin with grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. Everything else we cooked to order and great flavor. Would def recommend for dinner/drinks and good ambiance

Outstanding customer service. My brother and I on our annual "guys ski trip" went here. Sat at the bar. Were greeted right away with top notch service.. Poured the wine, the drinks, provided sound recommendations... All those things you want.. Service was snappy the whole time. We like to cap off our bro's ski trip with a nice steak dinner and this joint fit the bill perfectly! Thank you, and have a nice day.

This is Jackson Hole's premier Steakhouse dining experience. We booked a reservation online and the earliest available was 8:15pm, so I grabbed it. The Steakhouse is below the famous Million Dollar Bar, which is one of the oldest landmark Saloons in Jackson. We arrived a little early at 7:45pm, and found that the restaurant was pleasantly full. We were going to go to the Steakhouse bar for a drink, but the host said our table was ready and so we were seated. We were greeted by our server in a cordial and professional manner. The menus were quickly handed to us before we ordered drinks, so we figured we should hurry and order as they close at 9:30. Then I thought perhaps it's because the wine list is in the back of the dinner menu as well. So all good, I perused the wine list, and I was delighted to see that this was one of the best wine lists in town and a Wine Spectator Award (for 2024). Great global selections that appeal to all levels of wine enthusiasts. We scratched the cocktails and ordered up our first bottle. Our server did a lovely job presenting and serving the wine, and then went over the specials for the evening. We were settling in, and decided to order a few apps.. We ordered the Bison Carpaccio and Scallops over Puréed Parsnip. They arrived quickly, and while we started enjoying them he came back rather quickly to take our entree order, but we asked for a few minutes. The carpaccio was tender and tasty, but unfortunately a bit dry. We squeezed the lemon that came with the scallops over the beef, and that helped. The scallops (2 pieces U8's) were delicious. We ordered our mains, and they too came quickly. I had the 14oz NY Strip, and my guests ordered the 8oz Filet, and Tournedos of Beef with a Crab Oscar sauce special. The special was 2 - 4oz Filets with a creamy sauce, but not much visible crab. The food was all perfectly cooked medium rare, and the sides we ordered were all very tasty as well. We were ready for another bottle of wine as we were enjoying our meal, but didn't see a server. Took too long, and we were finishing up our meals by the time he came back so we opted for 2 glasses instead. We were deep into our meals and having a lovely time still enjoying our dinners, and the server came and dropped dessert menus at the table. We were all looking in shock at each other as we were still eating, and hadn't even had our entree dinner plates cleared yet. My guest got a bit worked up, and told the server to please take the menus away as we are not done eating our dinner. He was very apologetic, and I could see it was almost 9:30pm, and figured the kitchen must be asking for a dessert order before they close. Either way they skipped the standard dinner protocol for clearing then asking about dessert. Now they were hesitant to clear, and waited for us to say please clear. We were nicely offered complimentary dessert for the faux pas. The server continued to apologize, and we were like forget it please, and we ordered a couple desserts. I would've had a cappuccino or espresso, but was never offered coffee so we skipped it. The Berry Crumble and Chocolate PB Brownie were both served a la mode and amazing. We were clearly amongst the last in the house so it was time to go. The check came, and we were offered to get free admission to the bar upstairs which has a cover charge. We respectfully declined, as we had to get to work in the morning. But a nice gesture in closing with us. I will go back. The food and service (regardless) were amongst the best in town. This place is a cut above the rest, and the prices quite reasonable for Jackson. Stop in you'll be happy you did. Cheers!

I'm not much of a reviewer but I just had to make a review for this place! My husband and I came to Jackson for our honeymoon & we of course had to stop here for dinner one night, and let me tell you.... This place did not disappoint!!!! The service was great, and the food was phenomenal!!!! Definitely pricey but well worth the price! We will most definitely be making a trip back to Jackson in the future and this will be our first stop!!!

Overrated , expensive and food does not live up to the hype . Ambiance is nice , bar upstairs fun.

This bar is so cool, no wonder it's famous. I don't want to spoil anything but this is a must to stop by! We just had drinks which were standard for the bar. Seems like there's a lot of activities and things that happen here - pool tables, dance floor, stage.

The ONLY thing I wouldn't order again is the Mac and Cheese....meh. The steak was SUPER great. The other sides - fries, green beans, etc were extremely good. I ordered the skillet ribeye, as did my friends who joined me. The steaks were cooked perfectly. Drinks - I ordered a Manhattan, but only if Matt (the head bartender) did it for me. He did not disappoint. The drink was really good. And I believe we had dessert. My friend from college was in from Texas with his boys, so I chose here to eat. They were all super pleased.

Ok, it's a tourist trap but a Jackson, Wyoming must do. The food is great, the people are nice and it's so convenient.

We ate here our first night in JH and fell in love!!! Food was so yummy that we are going back tonight (last night of our trip). I got the NY strip cooked medium rare and it was phenomenal, along with their homemade steak sauce! Spicy marg was yummy. Mac and cheese was AMAZING. Highly recommend.

Unique bar that you should definitely check out. Horse saddles for seats at the bar. A few pool tables. Very lively bar it gets crowded.

This review is NOT for the food. The food was overpriced and looked very underwhelming so we did not order anything here. We only enjoyed the experience of the famous bar with saddle barstools, live music, and great energy. I wouldn't recommend going for the food alone but maybe for drinks, mingling, playing bar games, and the live music. It is, after all, a famous Cowboy bar that is a must see while in Jackson Hole.

Food was really great. Not a single thing we tried was less than 5 star: steaks, sides, shrimp, salads, and dessert. Truly 5-star service.

My family and I went here on our last night of our trip to Jackson and it did not disappoint! We did have a reservation, which I recommend. Our waiter Vincent took amazing care of us and was so nice! My husband and I both had the N.Y. Strip and we shared the mashed potatoes, which were phenomenal. The glazed carrots were also very tasty and my husband also got the mac and cheese, which he enjoyed. Crème brûlée was enjoyable as well. Definitely recommend this place!

No reservations but they let us in. The waiter was real nice My Caesar salad had too many croutons. The bread they gave us was stale ( waiter replaced it ). My wife's Filet was cooked to perfection My Ribeye was a little overcooked and chewy. The place was clean but had weird decor. Very expensive , but now a days everything is.
