Mills River Brewing Co

We love mills River brewery! The back area is gorgeous with plenty of seating whether you want to be close to the regular musical acts or back a bit in the woods. Come if it’s chilly as they have out door heaters or come if it’s hot as they have lots of shade! The beers are great, MR Light is my favorite as I am basic but they’ve got may others as well as cocktails. The food on site is great with some standard staples as well as seasonal fun! Oh, and doggos are welcome so you see lots of fuzzy buddies. Can’t beat it!!!

Brewery 34 I’ve visited in the WNC area and I really liked the experience. Huge parking lot, huge-r inside space, and even HUGE-R backyard space (no pictures sorry). It’s a really pretty venue. Service was fast and friendly. I tried two beers (a Lager and an Oktoberfest) and I thought both were fine. I’ll try a few others to see if I can get it up to 5* on my next visit. I will definitely go back because this place is great

Got here on a cloudy chilly day so did not get to enjoy the outdoor area. However the inside was great. Really enjoyed the beer and their burger was HUGE!(make sure and get the fries..). Bartender was super as well, just wish they did flights so we could have tasted all of their beers.

Mills River Brewing is an awesome place to hang out! The food is top-notch flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. There’s plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Parking is super easy with lots of room, which is always a plus. The live music adds the perfect vibe great sound, good energy, and a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re here for a meal, a few drinks, or just the music, this place nails it all. Definitely one of my favorite local spots!

Great customer service and amazing food options. Clearly someone knows and loves to create food. Hands down best salad I’ve had in a long time. Tossed and every bite has every bit of goodness. Blood orange bourbon is on point as well.

This brewery has been on our list to visit for some time, but unfortunately, this will be a one-time stop for us. It might be a good fit for some, but it just isn’t for us. The beer was just okay—maybe a bit too plain for our taste. We ordered the $14 fries, which were a total letdown for the price. There was a live band playing that day, so it was pretty noisy with nowhere quiet to sit and relax or have a conversation. The staff was friendly, and the grounds are beautiful, but overall, we feel there are better options in the area.

My wife and I made our first trip to the brewery on May 10, 2025. Absolutely fantastic. The beer and wine were delicious. Mount Mitchell burger was awesome and my wife enjoyed her Asian salad as well. We will be back and will bring friends with us!!!👍👍👍

Full Bar...beer, wine and liquor! Great staff! The band was really good. The food was wonderful! Great burgers and chicken sandwich! The fries are awesome. Great spot for families and friends. Dogs are welcome. Nice indoor space and a huge, beautiful, outdoor space. Would highly recommend! Get yourself a BLT!❤️ Dog friendly.
