Millthorpe Motel

We stayed here for two nights as an alternative to Bathurst or Orange. Good base for exploring the area. Lovely town with a village atmosphere and historic buildings. Accommodation was excellent - good sized room, comfortable king sized bed, good shower. Very quiet so slept well. Only minor issue was that the blinds let a lot of light in early in the morning at this time of year, but I wouldn't let that dissuade me from staying again. Note that eating out options are limited on Sundays and Mondays as only the pub is open.

What a lovely little Motel, easily the best country motel we have stayed in. Comfortable, spacious rooms and a normal sized bathroom, not a broom closet with a shower. To top it off there is a king size bed. The only downside is that the room was a bit noisy when people are coming and going from other units and you didn’t see anyone from the motel not even when you check in, We will definitely stay here again when in town.

What a great little gem this place was. In a cute little quiet town, the room was clean and spacious. Staff friendly and make everything easy to check in and out. We brought our 2 dogs who loved it as well. Highly recommend.

Fantastic little motel in a great location. Very clean, really comfortable beds, friendly and lovely hosts. We stayed in the loft room and had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We love visiting Milthorpe and no doubt will book in again.

The second time we stayed here, fabulous location in a cute town. The rooms are spacious, very clean and well equipped. They have contactless check in which worked very well and they sent a message with places that are open for dinner which is great. Definitely will stay again

Pleasant surprise, I got the studio, was perfect for one or two people, like a bed sitter. The motel is handy to the IGA, and five minute walk to the pub, for pub grub, which was pretty good food, couple with glass of local wine you can’t go wrong, it was that good ate their both nights of my stay. Milthorpe is a one street, block, village, very nice and a pleasant surprise. I stayed cause it was between Bathurst and Orange, so was perfect for what I was doing. Beds were comfy, and rooms were clean 3.5 star, is my rating, had tea, coffee bar fridge, all you need for a cuppa and snack. Also had a mini bar for temptation. But the IGA is a one minute walk.

This is a sublime, quiet place to stay in this beautiful old town. Large rooms and king bed, aircon and well appointed bathroom. Very quiet and walking distance to everything. Parking off street .

Highly recommend the Millthorpe Motel. First time guest, staying at the Loft Room. Cosy, abundant amenities, huge modern bathroom with spa, great size lounge with kitchenette. Bedroom upstairs is pure luxury. Two televisions. A lounge area by the window makes for a great place to sit and read a book. Friendly staff, going above and beyond. Located centrally, it is a mere few minutes walk from everything. IGA nearby, plenty of dining options as well. Plenty of parking too. Excellent service. Will stay here again next time.
