Millthorpe Motel

The hosts were extremely accommodating and very friendly. The room was modern, very clean. It was a pet friendly room and they had a clean dog bed and bowl ready, we came with parrots and they were excited to interact with them. Would not hesitate to book there again, with our without pets.

So worth the drive. Millthorpe itself is a beautiful old, very well preserved township, surrounded by beautiful Australian countryside. The Millthorpe Motel reflects the chalm of the town, with a modern style. The rooms are beautifully appointed and quite large. Each room has a small but well appointed kitchen, so if you don't feel like dinning out, a well stocked famous provider is right opposite, the Slow Wine shop is next door, and the new local IGA is just a few steps away. So eating in can't get much better. 100% recommend. Enjoy!

We stayed over New Tears Eve in the quiet town of Millthorpe. The Millthorpe Motel is a gem. It is a pet-friendly motel and unlike other pet-friendly motels, the hotel room is not run down. Clean, comfortable and we appreciated the dog bed and food/water bowl for our furry companion. Orange is only 20 minutes away, so a great alternative for those seeking a quiet, budget friendly room in a historic town.

Millthorpe Motel is a lovely place to stay if in the need of a quiet country stay! We stayed again in the New Year. They are pet friendly and welcomed our dog , rooms excellent, close to local eateries. Always welcoming. We will always choose to stay here than in busier, less personal bigger towns.

We stayed here for two nights as an alternative to Bathurst or Orange. Good base for exploring the area. Lovely town with a village atmosphere and historic buildings. Accommodation was excellent - good sized room, comfortable king sized bed, good shower. Very quiet so slept well. Only minor issue was that the blinds let a lot of light in early in the morning at this time of year, but I wouldn't let that dissuade me from staying again. Note that eating out options are limited on Sundays and Mondays as only the pub is open.

Fantastic little motel in a great location. Very clean, really comfortable beds, friendly and lovely hosts. We stayed in the loft room and had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We love visiting Milthorpe and no doubt will book in again.

What a lovely little Motel, easily the best country motel we have stayed in. Comfortable, spacious rooms and a normal sized bathroom, not a broom closet with a shower. To top it off there is a king size bed. The only downside is that the room was a bit noisy when people are coming and going from other units and you didn’t see anyone from the motel not even when you check in, We will definitely stay here again when in town.

What a great little gem this place was. In a cute little quiet town, the room was clean and spacious. Staff friendly and make everything easy to check in and out. We brought our 2 dogs who loved it as well. Highly recommend.
