My personal experience with the camping left me with mixed feelings. Upon arrival we were informed about the facilities, timetables and everything else we might need to know. The staff was polite, helpful and pleasant. We set up camp, and went exploring around the facilities. They were good, including a pool, a restaurant, a bar, a mini market, a common kitchen and public bathrooms (which were clean and tidy for the most part.) We visited the restaurant the first night, having been informed that we "would not find better prices in the whole island." The food was mediocre at best, with the prices of a regular tavern, the staff odd, making us wait while they played around on their phones or chatted between themselves. At a later date we commented on the lack of ice provided by the camping to one of the camp's receptionists, and the overpriced six-packs of water at the mini market, and instead of her admitting the obvious problem with the lack of ice "plaguing" the whole island, she was ironic and continued being so throughout our whole stay there. Over a simple comment, which we made in good spirit to help them better the experience for future clients. All in all, the only staff members that treated us decently were the two workers at the pool bar, Kostas and Marouso, as well as the mentainance guy, Panagiotis, and one of the cleaning ladies, Olga. The camping is decent, the price as well, provided we brought our own tent, and it is a good alternative to booking a hotel room. It would be excellent if the staff was more polite and did not take critiques to heart.
