My best and dearest friend goes to college in Easton. I am embarrassed to admit that I hadn't visited her at all in the 3 years since she started there. That changed this semester, when I visited her twice at school, with our other best friend. On the first visit, she told us that there were only two bars near campus. I may have audibly gasped. TWO bars? Is this a cruel joke? I used to live on a street in Philly with two bars on it. Anyway, I don't think either of us expected much from that night, but we agreed to go, probably mostly because we were told that smoking was allowed in Milo's. Now that is something I'm not used to seeing in the city.
So we headed to Milo's, and upon walking in it became clear that the people in this bar weren't the kind we were used to. If you can get past this, and the smell of smoke, then you'll like Milo's. We plopped ourselves down at the bar, ordered some Malibu Bay Breezes (which were surprisingly cheap), and asked for an ashtray. What a perfectly acceptable and awesome way to spend the night!
On our next trip to Easton, we made a specific request to go to Milo's before the end of the night. We did, and were not disappointed.
