After a disappointing hotel experience the night before — the kind that almost made me want to get on a plane and fly straight home — arriving at MIMARU Osaka Namba Station felt like a breath of fresh air. The very first thing that stood out to me was the exceptional service standard. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team made us feel truly welcome — especially Josh, who assisted with our check-in that day.||We were traveling as a large family of 23 people with 37 suitcases, but Josh handled everything with an effortless smile, flexibility, and a calm, friendly attitude that made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He gave us helpful tips on how to get to the airport, how to send our luggage, and patiently answered every question we had. It may sound like something small, but after a long trip, that kind of service makes a world of difference.||I was also pleasantly surprised that the staff delivered all of our luggage directly to the rooms. This is something I’ve never experienced at other hotels in Japan — such a thoughtful touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. And it wasn’t just Josh — every staff member we interacted with maintained the same warm and professional service.||The location is also excellent. We arrived from Nagoya via Shinkansen and needed taxis due to the size of our group, but if you’re coming from Kansai International Airport, you can take the Nankai Airport Express directly to Nankai Namba Station, which takes about 30–40 minutes. From the station building, it’s just a short 5-minute walk to the hotel. The property is tucked slightly away from the busiest streets of Namba, making it peaceful and quiet while still within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and all the main attractions.||Our family stayed in a two-bedroom apartment-style room, and it was spacious, clean, and well-equipped — with a small kitchen, fridge, microwave, washing machine, and even two separate toilets, which is perfect for families or longer stays. The only small inconvenience is that bottled water isn’t provided in the room, but there’s a water dispenser on the 2nd floor.||Another lovely detail is the board game area, which kept the kids entertained while waiting to check in or out. You can also borrow games to play in the room. Plus, there’s free coffee in the mornings and soft drinks in the afternoon — such a simple but thoughtful touch that really adds to the experience.||Although the hotel doesn’t serve breakfast, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés just a short walk away, so finding food in the morning is never a problem.||In short: everything about our stay at MIMARU Osaka Namba Station was wonderful. The rooms are spacious, the location is perfect, and most importantly, the service is outstanding. My family and I will absolutely choose this hotel again the next time we visit Osaka — and I highly recommend it to anyone, especially families, looking for a warm and comfortable stay in Namba.
