My family of 4 are on our way back home after an amazing trip to Japan. We had the pleasure of staying at the Mimaru at Akasaka. The rooms were extremely clean, roomy, and comfortable. We had all the necessities (stove, microwave,
refrigerator, kitchenware). The location was extremely convenient being only a 5 to 7 minute walk to the Chiyoda line, Akasaka station. Akasaka is in the center of Tokyo so all areas were easily accessible ( Shinjuku, Shinbuya, Ginza, Asakusa). Another huge plus was 7 eleven being right across the street making all your last minutes needs (food, water, ATM) super convenient. It was also nice that the hotel was in a quiter part of the city, so you could come "home" to a calmer, quieter, and more relaxed environment after the hustle and bustle of the city. The front desk staff was superb. They were all welcoming, friendly, respectful, and pleasant. They were also extremely patient and helpful with anything we needed assistance with ranging from help with restaurant or taxi reservations to recommendations for eating and activities. Another huge plus for us was they were all fluent in English making communication easy, effective, and efficient. Thank you Mimaru staff for making our first visit to Japan a pleasant and memorable experience!
