We stayed with our 4 year old and had a wonderful experience. Staff were lovely and helpful, room was big and it was so nice to have a kitchen. The 7/11 across the road was essential! Cute playground around the corner to the left as you leave the hotel and up a big hill. Lovely little set menu lunch restaurant just across from it at the bottom of the hill. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores/grocery stores around. Subway station was a quick walk. Definitely out of the way for some of the major attractions but it worked for us as it was quiet and nice to walk around the neighborhood. Only issues are there was some loud banging in the middle of the night a few times, we couldn’t work out what it was. And if you are a sensitive sleeper, the beds and pillows are extremely firm. Not sure if this is a cultural thing or unique to this hotel brand.

Great location. Close to subway, restaurants and convenience stores. Fantastic neighbourhood. Exceptional staff. Very friendly, courteous and helpful. Large and spacious room with all necessary facilities. Negatives - Mattresses are hard. If not to your liking ask staff for mattress topper. Our room was extremely light. The blinds are very thin and there is a lot of ambient city light at night. When the sun rises the light is extremely bright. Bring garbage bags to tape in the windows!

This was an amazing five night stay. We had a room on the seventh floor overlooking the street and it was perfect for our family of four. Akasaka is a great area to base a trip|To Tokyo. It’s a relatively calm oasis away from the manic bustle of Shibuya or Shinjuku and it has a huge number of lovely restaurants and cafes. Special mention should go to the front desk staff who are brilliant. They made the process of forwarding on our bags to Kyoto a doddle. Highly recommended!

Lauren and Isaac went above and beyond to help with a luggage issue. THANK YOU! Mimaru was great for our family of 4 (our daughters are 8 and 11). Despite the room being smaller than we’re used to, it had everything we needed! We stayed in the room with sofa beds and they were great for our girls. The bathroom is well laid out and like other Mimarus. (We’ve stayed at Mimaru Kyoto Shinmachi Sanyo and Mimaru Tokyo Hatchobori). Also, the Akasaka location has a rooftop terrace where you can see Tokyo Tower. It is conveniently located near a subway station and many local restaurants.

We really enjoyed the spacious room which accommodated our family of 4, as well as the amenities inside such as the sink, fridge and oven. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The 7-eleven across is very convenient and the hotel is also a reasonable distance to the subway. The coin laundry machines at level 1 are convenient and essential. The hotel's location is convenient to explore areas such as Roppongi, Shibuya and Tokyo Midtown.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay here for 8 nights. The location is convenient and close to the subway. It was only a 10 minute walk. Directly across the street was 7 eleven and Lawson. There is plentiful of restaurants and shopping in the area. The staffs were very welcoming from beginning to end. They paid such close to details. Super friendly. Rooms were very spacious. Highly recommend for families. We loved having a kitchen and large fridge.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Mimaru Akasaka and definately recommend this place if you do like to have more space (app has 40 qm). The staff was always welcoming and helpful. The cleaning staff as well. The app. has got everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We always did our own breakfast. The beds were very comfy. The shower excellent. Despite the Mimaru itself we loved the 7Eleven just across the street. Plenty restaurants around the area. A German Bakery just around the corner! How great is that!. Akasaka Station just a few minutes away. We will def. stay here again, when returning to Tokyo. Thanks for a very pleasant stay ... oh, btw the restaurant at the entrance was very nice too... Ukranian and Usbekian food!

Such a great location. Very friendly helpful reception staff. A quiet but central area. 7-11 across the road… railway station a few minutes walk away. Harry Potter… Temple at the end of the road. A great spot. Room was big enough to accomodate two large teenagers. Recommend.
