MIMARU TOKYO AKASAKA

Excellent family stay. The area is filled more so with locals than tourists which means that after a busy day it's nice to come back to the area.|Plenty of nice restaurants around which are reasonably priced.|Choice of trains within 10 minutes walk. We had a stroller and lifts were easy to find.|The room itself was fab. It had everything we needed for a family stay with a 4 year old and 8 month old for feeding. The kitchen is stocked with the usual and you can request other things from reception.|Reception here are fantastic. The icing on the cake for this hotel really are the excellent friendly staff. They were really helpful with luggage forwarding on the last day it was so quick! |I would choose to stay here again if coming back to Tokyo with any group.

Recently stayed in this hotel for four nights with my husband and two children (15 months and 3 years old). We had a wonderful experience! We stayed in the Japanese-style apartment, and it was very comfortable. We had a bed guard/bumper provided by the hotel, since they did not have any cribs available for us during our stay (they do have cribs, they were just all in use already when we got there). We loved eating at the low table with our kids. The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. The hotel itself is in a great area - we loved staying in Akasaka. We were right by a metro station, had a 7-Eleven directly across the street, and also had many other restaurants nearby. There were also a couple of parks close by with kids’ play equipment. If we return to Tokyo (which we would love to do someday!) we would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful time staying at the hotel. It is the second time staying at the hotel after my last trip to Tokyo about 6 years ago.. still the same amazing service from the staff. Love the away from city buzz atmosphere but still within walking distance from Tokyo mid town and Roppongi. A few nice food places around the hotel too including 7-11 just opposite the hotel.. the luggage delivery paid service is an excellent choice as I can start my holiday immediately after reaching airport without having to drop off my luggage’s at the hotel. Same for sending the luggages to the airport too. Highly recommended who like a bit of quiet neighborhood during their stay..

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We loved this location for proximity to a bunch of different sites, closeness to a subway line, and excellent nearby restaurants and conveniences. The rooms were incredibly spacious, well equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lot of gracious touches that make your stay easy and comfortable. Loved how close it is to 21 21 Design Sight, Mori Art Museum, etc. Would definitely try to stay at a Mimaru hotel again!

This stylish hotel is in the heart of Akasaka, close to the main attractions such as the Mori Art Museum and the Roppongi Hills district. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a lovely Japanese-style room which comfortably slept 4, 2 European beds and the 2 futon mattresses being rollable to allow eating at a table on Tatami mats. There is a cook top, microwave and separate shower and toilet. There is a European Cafe with live music down below but they're quiet by 10. Slept so soundly in the luxurious beds.

Stayed as a family of 3 with a 4 year old. Service was great and all of the staff spoke english. Rooms were great with everything that we needed. Location was good with a short walk to many eateries, supermarket, train station and convenience store. Would definitely stay again. Would recommend Akasaka as a good base to explore Tokyo.

Really great family hotel! We stayed here for the convenience of the family room and having a toddler run around. He loved it and the room! The room was great, although the beds were slightly hard. The staff were phenomenal! Mark was amazing and always available for assistance. He needs a promo as he could be the manager there, he knew everything. They also provided cute activities for the holidays. The location was central to many tourist areas and the station was less than a 5 min walk. Definitely recommend and will come back again!

This hotel was perfectly stocked and laid out for our family of 4. The shower set up was great as well as room lay out that had a table and beds. The location was even better we could walk and train everywhere we wanted to go. It was quiet at night and always felt safe. We will be back.
