MIMARU TOKYO ASAKUSA STATION

This hotel is a very nice quiet kid friendly hotel. I travelled with my family and the room provided a lot of space for the kids to play in. Upon checking in the kids were allowed to borrow board games to take up to the room and that was nice. The staff were nice and they had decent English. Our room had a great view of the Sumida River and the Asahi Headquarters which was a unique experience to wake up to. The room included four beds a mini kitchen and a full bathroom. During our stay, my child lost her Sanrio toy and we told them before leaving so they could look for it while cleaning the room. They couldn’t find it so instead they took time to go to the store and bring back two items for that kid of the same character. It was a really nice thing to do. Overall I would definitely come again.

My family and I stayed 10 nights at Mimaru Asakusa Station, and it was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had, especially while traveling with children. Our room was incredibly comfortable and well designed for families. It featured a bunk bed and a large bed, giving everyone plenty of space to stretch out. We also loved having a kitchen table and a full kitchen, which made breakfasts and the occasional dinner so much easier with kids. The location is fantastic, just a very short walk to Asakusa Station, making it easy to get around Tokyo. There are tons of fun activities and great food options nearby, and Sensō-ji Temple is right around the corner, which made sightseeing effortless. The staff was beyond wonderful. They spoke several languages, including English, and were always ready to help. A special thanks to Akane, who went above and beyond with thoughtful recommendations that made our stay unforgettable. Her kindness and attention to detail truly elevated our trip. I highly recommend Mimaru Asakusa Station for anyone traveling with children. We would absolutely stay here again. 1000/10 rating!

A stay that I never regret. Strategically location between Sensoji temple and Tokyo Skytree is already a bonus to shop and walk around the hotspot. If you are traveling around the subway is just nearby within short distance. My favorite is the family Mart convenience store which allow you to fill up your stomach anytime. The staff are friendly and respectful and always there to help. If you are traveling to another area like Osaka they are able to provide same day luggage delivery which I benefit from it which make my travelling to Osaka so much comfortable. Definitely will be back again.

We were travelling with 3 and decided to take a river view room in Mimaru Asakusa Station. There are twin beds and a bunk bed, so it was spacious enough for us. There is also a well-equipped kitchenette and sitting area, which is good for resting after a long day of walking and exploring. The hotel has an excellent location, right next to the Ginza line, making it easy to get to Ueno, Ginza and Shibuya. The staff are very friendly and helpful, much appreciated. We had so many questions as it was our first time in Tokyo and they so kindly and patiently found the answers for us. The hotel has a Family Mart (convenience store) right downstairs, and just across the junction are plenty of eateries, pharmacy and Daiso.

Amazing staff who were super helpful. The rooms were very clean and space. The hotel is very kids friendly and we saw lots of family there as well. Very centrally located with FamilyMart downstairs and TOKYO line 2 mins away. Even if you don’t take the train anywhere and stay local there was plenty to do, see, shop and eat with lots of food options that are 24 hours.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mimaru Asakusa station. Travelling as a family of 4 with two kids 9/8) The staff were friendly and very helpful. The apartment was very practical and clean and of a good size for us to be able to move around, manage luggage and not be tripping over each other. The room service was also great with fresh towels daily and when the full service was performed the apartment was spotless and very tidy with nice small touches of arranging our chaos. The location in Asakusa is very convenient and easy to find, and with very good access to the various subway entrancess. Heaps to see in Asakusa with the shrine district and shopping restaurants. Would defiantly stay here again.

Great facilities. The rooms are very big compared to standard Japanese hotels which was great for my toddler to move about in. Great staff who were very tentative and had some great games for my son to participate in to get prizes. Location is handy with a Family Mart right next to the hotel. But also many restaurants near by. Highly recommend staying here!

My family stayed at Mimaru Tokyo Asakusa Station in August 2025. Through our travels, we stayed at 4 different Mimarus across Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. This location was one of our favourites!||The staff are amazing. Always ready to help and having international staff who spoke English was comforting. We booked a Deluxe 2 Bedroom Suite and it was the best room we stayed in. It was large and each bedroom had 2 Twin beds + bunk bed. There were also 2 bathrooms (key when you have a teenage girl) - overall, plenty of space and the room was very clean and organized. ||Location is spectacular. The perfect mix of busy but not overwhelming. The hotel is literally steps away from Asakusa Station, 3 min walk to Sensoji Temple and the market district. I would highly recommend this property!
