MIMARU Tokyo Ueno Okachimachi

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone at the front desk was so kind and helpful in every way. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a great view from our room. We stayed in the ninja room. The coin operated washer and dryer was on first floor and extremely easy to use. There were a lot of convenience stores, shops and restaurants in close walking proximity. Can’t wait to come back again!!!!

The best hotel I might ever have stayed in and perfect for this trip (a family of 5 first timers to Tokyo).|It might not be the fanciest hotel, the rooms are great and it is cosy. The location is excellent and everything is nearby and transport for getting around Tokyo is very close and easy.|But what makes it exceptional is the staff. Beyond kind, friendly and pleasant. Just so lovely all round to all the family. We were always greeted with smiles and any query or need we had was met with above and beyond service. |I genuinely couldn't recommend higher for families especially. |Ueno is also a great location if It's your first time in Tokyo.

I really can't overstate how incredible it is to have a kitchen and dining table in your room in Tokyo. Sometimes you just need and want a place to sit and plan the day in peace and quiet while eating breakfast, or you'd rather order Uber Eats and have it in your room instead of going out because you've hit maximum human interaction for the day. The room was overall comfortable and very large and the facility is well located by three stations that can get you to anywhere in the city. Beds were a bit hard for us Americans who are used to quite plushy pillowtops but we got used to them. I liked the very deep bathtub for soaking after a long day of walking! The front desk staff was also second to none. They were all very friendly and had great advice from day to day. They even helped arrange the luggage delivery to the airport of our 4 large bags so we wouldn't need to manage them on the trains or our way out. I would definitely stay again!

My family and I had a great time at Mimaru Tokyo Ueno Okachimachi. We stayed in two Mimaru locations in Tokyo and one in Osaka. All were a great place to stay. The hotels were extremely quiet and the perfect size for a party of four. They had friendly and helpful staff. Luggage transfer services were super helpful. I would highly recommend the hotel for anyone and the apartments are the perfect place for a group larger than 2.

We had a 4 night stay as a family. The staff were so friendly and helpful giving us recommendations for food. The rooms were spacious and modern and it was lovely to have the apartment as opposed to a hotel room after the big days out sightseeing. I highly recommend staying in this area, it was very accessible to all of the areas in Tokyo. I originally booked to stay in Shibuya but after reading many travel blogs decided to go with the other “quieter” spots in the city. Fabulous for families

Fantastic base for a family vacation. The staff were all wonderful to deal with, the rooms were surprisingly large for Tokyo, and our kids especially loved the bunk beds. Location is great, just a short walk to multiple rail lines, shopping and restaurants. Meanwhile, as it's a block back from the main road, it's quiet with regard to traffic noise even on lower floors. We would happily stay there again.

The place is very convenient, easily access to many restaurants, cafe and shopping Mart. The room is clean , neat and quiet. The front desk is very helpful, in particular the one named Wing, she introduced us to restaurants which were tasty and economical. Other staff members were very helpful as well, they helped us to reserve table for dining at different restaurants. In all, they are all good and are good assets to the hotel. I would not help but recommending this hotel to my friends. I will consider staying in this hotel for my next visit.

A great place to stay when exploring Tokyo! Perfect for us and our two kids with lots of room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Bathroom facilities were excellent. Beds very comfy. Very well located to food and transport. Would stay again.
