Thank you for having us as guests and for the wonderful stay. There were several things we loved about our room that I would like to share: Room: 1) It was very spacious and nice to have a room with separate beds for our entire family of four. 2) Mini kitchen: having a room with a fridge, freezer, microwave, and stove seemed a litte excessive at first but we ended up using all of them. 3) Room was clean and nicely styled Service: 1) Our interactions with the hotel staff, especially the front desk were very positive and felt very personalized. They provided great recommendations for both dining and activities. The hand drawn profiles in the elevator is a creative way to introduce the staff. Thank you to Dong, Aika, and Uraru for helping us with recommendations, activities and helping set up our luggage delivery to Narita Airport. Location: 1) near multiple main train stations 2) near police station which made it feel very safe 3) near great dining options all within walking distance 4) near activities such as Ueno zoo or department stores for shopping and dinning. Overall: We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Stayed here in January with family of 5 in one of the family rooms. The hotel was well appointed and clean. Only thing was the beds were a little on the hard side for my liking. The Location was within easy walking distance to Ueno food district. Really appreciated how friendly and welcoming the staff at the front desk were. I would definitely stay here again.

Just perfect for us. Location in Ueno was great - lots of restaurants super close, lots of transport options, close to department stores and Ueno Park. The addition of the little kitchen in the room was a gem, having been to Tokyo before with three kids this made it. The best thing though was the staff. Love the food recommendations (we took two and they were awesome), love the friendliness and familiarity of the small hotel. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Great location and very close to couple of train stations. We stayed here before flying home and catching the Skyliner to Narita Airport, which made the journey incredibly easy. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated their activity and eatery recommendations. Like other Mimaru properties, it’s a fantastic option for families. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone at the front desk was so kind and helpful in every way. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a great view from our room. We stayed in the ninja room. The coin operated washer and dryer was on first floor and extremely easy to use. There were a lot of convenience stores, shops and restaurants in close walking proximity. Can’t wait to come back again!!!!

I really can't overstate how incredible it is to have a kitchen and dining table in your room in Tokyo. Sometimes you just need and want a place to sit and plan the day in peace and quiet while eating breakfast, or you'd rather order Uber Eats and have it in your room instead of going out because you've hit maximum human interaction for the day. The room was overall comfortable and very large and the facility is well located by three stations that can get you to anywhere in the city. Beds were a bit hard for us Americans who are used to quite plushy pillowtops but we got used to them. I liked the very deep bathtub for soaking after a long day of walking! The front desk staff was also second to none. They were all very friendly and had great advice from day to day. They even helped arrange the luggage delivery to the airport of our 4 large bags so we wouldn't need to manage them on the trains or our way out. I would definitely stay again!

The stay was perfect for our family of 5 in a one bedroom apartment. The location was great and the staff were extremely helpful. They also helped organise ski luggage transport which was a huge help. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I had a great time at Mimaru Tokyo Ueno Okachimachi. We stayed in two Mimaru locations in Tokyo and one in Osaka. All were a great place to stay. The hotels were extremely quiet and the perfect size for a party of four. They had friendly and helpful staff. Luggage transfer services were super helpful. I would highly recommend the hotel for anyone and the apartments are the perfect place for a group larger than 2.
