Me and family loved the food here. The portions were ok, people working here are really nice, and the price was okay too. No complaint!! Both pasta dishes were amazing, and overall we would gladly come back again!!

We had a wonderful experience at Mimi Restaurant while celebrating a birthday! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service truly stood out. A huge thank you to our host and waiter, Mudillo, who was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. He went above and beyond to help us organize a surprise, making the evening even more special. The food was absolutely delicious — the octopus was perfectly cooked, the ravioli were rich and flavorful, and the tiramisu was the perfect sweet ending. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Highly recommend Mimi Restaurant for both the amazing food and the exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!

We had this restaurant recommended by our hotel reception on our arrival at the Hotel il Sole in Bergamo alta citta. The service is great and the staff are welcoming. The menu is small and is mainly local dishes, which meant we had to experiment. The result was an excellent meal in a great traditional restaurant exuding a super vibe. Great night, enough said.

Ah, Mimi. It’s a charming spot nestled within the Città Alta, where the warmth of the exposed brick and the inviting glow of candlelight create a truly lovely atmosphere. They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into showcasing the best of Bergamasco cuisine, with dishes that highlight the region's rich culinary heritage. The *casoncelli* were a delightful example, plump and flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each plate feels like a carefully composed tribute to local ingredients. And the wine list? A genuine highlight, a curated selection of Lombardy’s finest, each bottle telling its own story. It's a place where you can relax and truly savor the flavors of the region, accompanied by excellent wine and a genuinely welcoming ambiance. Mimi offers a lovely, refined experience, perfect for a memorable evening in Bergamo.

My first meal back in Italy and what a delight it was. Trying something new is always a bit daunting, but it definitely paid off. Excellent service and great food - a brilliant combination.

Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the many positive reviews. Despite the restaurant’s branding, this is much closer to a fast food outlet than a proper dining experience. Food came flying out of the kitchen in less than 5 minutes, which reflected in the quality. The pulled lamb was served as a semi-dry burger, lacking flavour and finesse. The “homemade ravioli with truffle” had no trace of truffle flavour — deeply disappointing. We mentioned this at checkout, and to be fair, the ravioli was removed from the bill. The bread and olive oil were very good, but that was the only highlight. Sadly, the whole place felt like a tourist trap: rushed, impersonal, and lacking in authenticity. Easily the worst meal we had during a 7-day trip in Italy.

Ate a late lunch here around 3 o’clock yesterday. Food was delicious; Parmigiana di Melanzane(aubergine/eggplant) followed by Spezzatino di Cinghiale(wild boar stew) for me and braised beef for husband. My portion of main course was enormous! Cute place with checked tablecloths and cosy atmosphere. Not a lot of space between the tables, but not a problem for us. Service was friendly and efficient. All in all a good experience.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. The tables are a bit small, but everything fits just right – the ambiance is exactly what you’d hope for in a cozy Italian restaurant. Portions are perfectly sized, allowing you to enjoy an appetizer, main course, and dessert without feeling overwhelmed – and they truly deserve to be tried! Service was outstanding – attentive, patient, and quick. Highly recommended!
