Mimosa Wines & Restaurant

Restaurant fixed menu (with choices) with paired wine. The food was excellent, except perhaps the wild boar, which was great, but perhaps too much pasta for the shredded boar juices. My squid tom yum was very different but excellent. The deserts were to die for - six out of five. The wines pairing was similarly fantastic - just perfect. The prices were very reasonable for us from Sydney, and the staff were excellent. I’d like to especially thank the waitress who described each course and wine pairing as it arrived. Of course, the ambience of the venue was outstanding. Totally enjoyed the experience. I recommend this venue to anyone travelling down the South Coast.

I am so pleased to have discovered this place. We had a winter dinner here during a weekend away in Tathra. This is not your typical sleepy coast town restaurant. While it is still developing as a winery (vines only planted in recent years), the quality of food and service was as good as we have found anywhere. Treat yourself! And never fear - the wine list includes a range of other quality wines to match the standard of the food.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having lunch there today with another couple and we all agreed the location, food and service was amazing. We have dined at many top class restaurants around the country and this experience was up there with the best. Well done and we’ll be back

We had the very great pleasure of a lovely long lunch at Mimosa a few days ago. We had arranged it well in advance as a special get together for a few family and friends including some first-time-in-Australia UK visitors who we have known for 50 years, seem to have been encouraging them to visit for ever ! We were given a lovely table, the service, meal and wine list were just delightful, the Mimosa team were generous with their time and conversation, and the setting at Mimosa was as lovely as ever. As always, Mimosa managed to produce a few (live !!) kangaroos for the visitors to ooh and aah over. We are so lucky to have Mimosa in our neck of the woods. We also engaged Bermi & Beyond for group transport - very happy with all arrangements.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Mimosa last weekend. Food presentation was excellent and each of the courses were delicious. Beautiful location and our absolute favourite fine restaurant in the area.

Our experience at the restaurant was superb. The staff were professional and friendly, the ambience was lovely and the food was exceptional. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful - so many kangaroos!

Lovely setting a few kilometres South of Bermagui. The menu is 3 courses with a choice of 4 options for each course. Initially I thought $110 was a bit steep but the food was really tasty. You won't get a typical pub meal here.
