Mimosa Wines & Restaurant

This was our second visit for lunch at Mimosa and we have booked again to take our family back as it is such a lovely place. We run our own hospitality business so really appreciate what goes into a beautiful dining experience! Gorgeous setting even in the rain, interesting and thoughtful dishes that celebrate local suppliers and an approachable, friendly service. We loved the elegant fusion of surprising ingredients from an inspired chef. A fantastic sommelier, (and well priced wine matching!) who is passionate about wine pairings. Well done team! See you again Sunday!

We stayed in the glamping tents at Mimosa winery and had the best time. The tents were spacious and bed was super comfy - the shared facilities were also kept clean and the shower was 5* hotel vibes!! Seeing the kangaroos at night hopping round the winery was an amazing experience. 12 min drive to bermagui with lots of things to do. We also ate at the restaurant which blew us away.. as foodies it is now one of the best places we’ve ever been, from the drink to start to the wagyu steak, squid it was all amazing. We’d definitely stay again!

Restaurant fixed menu (with choices) with paired wine. The food was excellent, except perhaps the wild boar, which was great, but perhaps too much pasta for the shredded boar juices. My squid tom yum was very different but excellent. The deserts were to die for - six out of five. The wines pairing was similarly fantastic - just perfect. The prices were very reasonable for us from Sydney, and the staff were excellent. I’d like to especially thank the waitress who described each course and wine pairing as it arrived. Of course, the ambience of the venue was outstanding. Totally enjoyed the experience. I recommend this venue to anyone travelling down the South Coast.

Was really disappointed with the food. The choice was limited, it was a fixed price but they added on $. I didn’t eat my entrée, deserts were average., the steak was good but no choice of condiments. Cellar door was closed and they had ran out of wine. Wines were stunning and service was fantastic . Overall crazy expensive for value.

We had a lovely family lunch at Mimosa Wines. I recommend the pasta al raggu which were delicious and the wine assortment which made me discover very nice wines.

I am so pleased to have discovered this place. We had a winter dinner here during a weekend away in Tathra. This is not your typical sleepy coast town restaurant. While it is still developing as a winery (vines only planted in recent years), the quality of food and service was as good as we have found anywhere. Treat yourself! And never fear - the wine list includes a range of other quality wines to match the standard of the food.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having lunch there today with another couple and we all agreed the location, food and service was amazing. We have dined at many top class restaurants around the country and this experience was up there with the best. Well done and we’ll be back

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Mimosa last weekend. Food presentation was excellent and each of the courses were delicious. Beautiful location and our absolute favourite fine restaurant in the area.
