Mimpi Resort Menjangan

The hotel is located on the north west tip of Bali by a lagoon. This is the only hotel that has its own natural hot spring pools which are pretty amazing. We chose a patio room but were shown the villa rooms which are basically the same room but with its own little hot spring pool in a gated courtyard area outside the room which you may want to consider but we were happy enough with the room given (room 229). The room was massive with vaulted ceiling, outdoor bathroom and shower and a very lovely outside sitting area. My only gripe for the room was the poor air conditioning. Was not at all effective in the 30 degree temperature. Theres loads of water stations dotted around the area where you can refill your bottles with safe filtered drinking water. Two main pools and plenty of small spring pools for you to use but do not just jump in , check the temperature first as the water is naturally heated from the volcanic area nearby. Very pleasant grounds with a few mins walk down to the lagoon facing restaurant. Both breakfast and the times we had dinner was excellent. Good food, reasonably priced for a hotel of this calibre. Lovely staff, big shoutouts to you all, especially Sam the restaurant manager and Tata and all the lovely staff. There’s no beach directly outside the hotel, rather a harbour for the many boats. The nearest beach is called White Beach which is a 20min walk from the hotel. Not many things outside the hotel, but a couple of excellent warungs and a small convenience store right opposite the entrance.

Mimpi Resort Menjangan was absolutely wonderful! The resort is beautifully located by the water, peaceful and surrounded by nature — the perfect place to relax after exploring Menjangan. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The highlight for us were the natural hot springs inside the resort — such a unique experience to soak and unwind in warm, mineral-rich water with a view of the lagoon. The pool area and gardens are also lovely, creating a truly serene atmosphere. It’s the ideal base for snorkeling or diving trips, but also a destination in itself if you just want to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!

I think this is our fifth stay here - always amazing. We were sad to leave - the hot springs are a wonderful bonus, the pools are so beautiful, the gardens outstanding & the view from the restaurant, fantastic. We splurged on a spa/pool villa & no regrets. |The bed is a little firm for our liking, and sun lounges on our little deck would have been nice; but really nothing to gripe about. We love it & will be back time & time again.

The Mimpi resort exeeded our expectations.|We had a villa and a 2 bed room seperately for pur kids.|It was very nicely equipped, the villa with a private Terrasse, and hot tub. We loved it.||The resort is very nice Set up with the nature. |We did a snorkeling and a diving Tour in the near by Nationalpark. It was greatly Set up with a really nice crew:-)||Also the food was delicious. If you stay more than 3 days, the breakfast could get repetitive.|All staff was really nice, very natural always having fun.||The monkeys living nearby in the mangroves are also a Highlight and kept us busy at the pool sometimes:-)||We can only recommend!

We absolutely loved our three-night stay at Mimpi during our honeymoon. ||||We stayed in a courtyard villa with the pool and hot spring; comfy beds, clean and beautifully decorated for our stay. Having our own pool and hot spring was super relaxing to move between the two of them, and the outdoor lounge. We also appreciated being able to refill our water bottles as regularly as we liked. ||||The standout at Mimpi is the staff - especially at the restaurant, who were warm, attentive, and welcoming every time. We loved the Indonesian food that was served, especially the bebek goreng kering, pisang goreng and breakfast cakes. We were very lucky to be treated to a special spot, reserved for a romantic dinner to celebrate our honeymoon - the service and food was fabulous and made us feel very special. ||||The snorkelling was exceptional and very easy to organise directly at the resort. Ketut was an excellent guide, pointing out specific species and making sure we were comfortable in the water. The variety and abundance of marine species was fantastic. ||||Perfect way to end our trip was with a relaxing afternoon of bike riding followed by a scrub and massage at the day spa.

Totally enjoyed my stay there. Room is ok but felt the walls a bit thin, able to hear neighbours. Other than that the property have a very beautiful garden, nice pools and they even have hot springs. Top notch awesome service by all the staff. Made the stay all the more special. Restaurant has a great view overlooking the bay with the volcanoes in Java in the distance. Like to also get the dive Centre staff a shout out as well and special thanks to Sri, our dive guide for our dives while there. He worked really hard spotting and looking for marine life to show us. He even brings down a large slate to write the names of the marine animal he is showing us.

Another great stay at the Mimpi Resort, this is our 4th and it never disappoints. The resort is beautiful with sprawling grounds, hot spring pools, swimming pools, spa, everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay, even local monkeys.🙊 |The staff are fabulous, very friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to make your stay special, we recognise faces from our earlier visits which is great. The restaurant food is very tasty and varied and we stayed 4 nights and had some very nice dishes, well presented and very reasonably priced.

A very beautiful resort with lovely pools and hot tubs. A very spacious park, lovely cottages, and well-maintained gardens. Conveniently located if you're planning to visit Menjangan Island. Delicious breakfast buffet, good lunch and dinner menu, and very friendly service in the restaurant.
