If you love Greek food and have never been here, make sure you go as soon as possible. We have never had a bad experience the many times we have gone here. I am an extremely picky eater and this is the first Mediterranean restaurant I had ever been to and their food is absolutely delicious. The staff is always phenomenal. If you don’t know what to order, no worries, their recommendations are always on point. Today I tried the fried fish plate for the first time and it was the best fish I’ve ever had. They had a vast selection of yummy desserts and adult beverages. Bonus, on Fridays they have a really entertaining belly dancer. We love this place! The only downside is that since it’s a cozy establishment it has a tendency to get packed quickly but well worth any wait.

This place is absolutely delicious authentic Greek food! Staff were extremely friendly. Service was fast. We can only a slow day? But it’s usually quite busy. Their prices are great, especially compared to how tasty everything was as a whole. The Feta fries were perfectly fried to order. The Gyro had the perfect ratio of ingredients and their peta bread was top notch. Overall if you’re looking for authentic Greek food that is absolutely delicious then this is the best place to get the real experience.

Google
I enjoyed my experience dining here. The location is fairly small, so we had to wait a bit, but the staff were very kind and the wait was worth it. The food was delicious, with many options for dessert. I’d recommended this Greek restaurant to my friends!

Google
Great Greek spot with lots of options. I accidentally ordered spanakopita before remembering I’m vegan, and they quickly swapped in a delicious falafel sandwich. Fast, attentive service and a lively vibe. Busy at lunch but quick turnaround—worth the wait. I’d go again.

Very good greek food. The place was packed but they seated us quick. It was an authentic atmosphere with helpful staff and they had a belly dancer. I got the lamp chop special and it came on a skillet and smelled and tasted amazing my phone smells like it.

Google
Holy hidden gem! Saw a random Facebook Foodie group review & decided to try it for a late lunch on a Saturday. It might have been our first visit but won't be our last. The good: The food is absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was so full of flavor & the feta fries are my new favorite guilty pleasure. The staff is so friendly, even when so busy. The menu had options for everyone. My 5yr old ate his entire chicken on a stick. The bad that's not a deal breaker. We're a family of 5 & it's a small establishment with limited seating. You order before you sit & by the time we finished ordering, a table opened up but as I mentioned it was a late lunch. It's small so it's loud, which with toddlers we prefer. Can't wait to go back.

Google
Best Greek food I’ve ever had hands down! Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and the food has a flavor like no other. The restaurant has an authentic vibe, feels like I got transported to Greece. Not only were the entrees delicious but the dessert selection is incredible. Second time here and will keep coming

Google
I am completely blown away with this place! I'm sorry to say this but all other Greek restaurants in San Antonio are dead to me, this place not only has very reasonably priced for, but man! The flavor! Everything is very well done and the opposite from fast food, fresh ingredients, well served plates, the serve Greek coffee! Which is like Turkish coffee, they make it fresh once you order it (see pictures), the fat gyro I had so much meat and was perfectly put together, the pita bread was gourmet and soft but thick, the have a huge variety of cakes the likes of which you will not find anywhere else, like baklava lemon cake ( which I had) boy oh boy! It was to die for! The only feedback I could provide to this place is that the wall on the right side of the lobby is a little too cluttered with notices, decorations, a bubble gum machine, drinks in their plastic wrapping piled up, the aesthetics of the lobby is a vary important part of the dining experience, I would recommend to the owner to tidy up that white wall a little bit (the one parallel to the entrance) , in contrast with That, the wall on the other side of the lobby, that one is aesthetically more pleasing, the one painted Orange, yellow and blue, But all in all this was the best Greek food I've had EVER! and I've lived in 5 different states and tried Greek food in all of them... I am extremely happy I found this place, big kudos to the owner for running such a great place 👏👏👏

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by for dinner today. I can't remember our servers name, was a very friendly guy and did such a great job making us feel welcomed. We ordered the lamb shank special, also came with gyro, blistered tomatoes and onions. We also got side salads, generous amount of taziki, feta fries (were seasoned so well!!) and dolmas. The food was amazing, you can tell the staff here truly cares. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves food that makes you feel right at home. Thank you so much!! Got way too excited and forgot to take a picture. Came out to 60 including tip. Worth every cent and even had a good amount of leftovers.

Yelp
What a great experience!! Place was packed at lunch but we ordered and got a table right away. Our first time there so weren't sure about combos etc. but staff were very helpful. Food: Solid 5/5 - soft grilled pita gyros (lamb, beef souvlaki), Greek salad and fries. Wife upgraded to feta fries. She loved them but too rich so couldn't finish all. Huge portions. Service: 5/5 - staff were friendly and seemed to know a lot of customers (always a good sign) Ambience: 4/5 - only reason for the rating was the noise. A small dining room full of customers and loud music. Wife and I have already planned our next visit and highly recommend!

Yelp
I by no means am a "Mediterranean or Greek" food expert, in fact I tend to stay away from anything that isn't tacos or bbq. But let me tell you!! This place changed the way I completely look at Mediterranean cuisine! Their meats for which I had many of hit all the right flavor notes, but especially their Lamb and Lamb shank!! It's only a special, so you gotta keep an eye out for it, but it is DEFINITELY worth the price and wait! I've had #1 rated Beef ribs and pork ribs and let me tell you, these shanks DEFINITELY Hold a Candle to them! Our server was great he always had another glass of tea ready for me before I ever needed to ask. And as far as Ambiance, well, it's a mum n pop restaurant so they got interior decorating on tap big time!

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here for a while but I lived across town. Last year we moved to Alamo Ranch and this was my lunch destination today. A fabulous choice. First it was busy! Staff greeted us the second we walked in. Every table was full. The staff were helpful with recommendations. My husband got the gyro which was fantastic. I got the beef Slovaki. It was delicious. The staff recommended the feta fries and I love feta but they were very rich for me. My husband had plain fries I thought they were great. He loved my fries so it worked out perfectly. Everything was fresh and the service was great. Food was coming out of the kitchen quickly. They definitely do it right. Check them out ... you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
IMO, these are the ratings: Food: 4.9/5 Service: 4.9/5 Ambiance: 4.2/5 Total: 4.66/5 Probably the best greek food i've had. If you can eat (like me), try their Hercules Plate! The flavors hit the spot. We definitely recommend! And the price? PRETTY SPOT ON! And yeah, we are coming back!

Yelp
Mina and Dimi's is one of those places that you hear about when you live in SA - always positive things but it's so far from my usual area in the NE. We came to visit and met up with the newest Air Force grad in the family at Lackland, and M&D's made the perfect place to grab dinner together. The location is packed with tables and they were busy even on a weeknight, the decor is nice with murals on the walls. The menu is large with lots of options. We shared the Taste it All appetizer sample for 2 with a good variety - dolmas, spanakopita, olives and feta, tzatziki and more. I also ordered a Greek salad with gyro meat and pretty much only picked at it because the apps were so filling. The guys enjoyed their gyros and Hercules platter - def upgrade to the feta fries, they were so good! Service was great throughout our visit. We had our toddler with us, and they were understanding about her and had a high chair ready. This place has been around for ages and it's easy to see why - they really have everything dialed in here, great spot if you're in the area but also worth going out of your way to try!

Yelp
The food is AMAZING. The feta fries are my new favorite. The lemon/herb sauce on them along with the feta and parsley makes for a delightful side. The service is great! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The ambiance is relaxed, the room is a little tight so there may be a wait. Totally worth the wait though.

Yelp
I had wanted to try this place for awhile but wasn't sure due to the location . I finally stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. There was a steady stream of customers, super friendly staff and my food was brought out quickly. Everything tasted great. I was really surprised at how many homemade deserts they offered. They're open late so this will be an end of night desert stop for sure . If your doing it right word gets out there and location isn't a hindrance. Definitely going back to try more dishes and desert.

Yelp
Food We got the Hercules platter and WOW it didn't disappoint! 5/5 It came with 2 plates full of salad, feta, tzaziki sauce, pita bread, honey mustard, choice of fries or oven roasted potato (looks like a pickle lol). Totally need to add the feta on top! Furthermore a hot skillet platter full of chicken skewers, gyro, beef ontop of a bed of tomatos and onions (so flavorful). Enjoyed it bring a friend or 2 to share. Costed $44. Totally worth every penny. We also tried some deserts like the cheescake and raspberry cake. The raspberry cheesecake was very delicious! It was fruity(not too sweet), and paired well with the jam on the plate! 8.5/10 Service Was GREAT! Looked after us to clean up plates and refilled our waters as necessary! Ambiance Chill and relaxing vibes for family, date, friends. The area is not that great (so be aware) but this is a great gem!

Yelp
This place is so amazingly delicious. It's located in a a kind of rundown strip mall location but do not be discouraged. It's very clean and quaint with a home-like feel. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by the friendliest staff and the most amazing aroma. Our server was Adrienne, and she was phenomenal! All her recs for food were spot on, but honestly I don't think you can go wrong with anything from the menu. This place is a must!

Peniamina P.

Yelp
Food was really nice. I will definitely eat here again. Mediterranean style food is one of my favorites.

Yelp
Let me tell you! The food is delicious here. I recommend the feta fries! Our server was polite, and even though she was hustlin' all over, she stayed attentive and friendly! The restaurant is small, and even though seating is close; it somehow didn't feel crowded! Also, there's tons of desserts to choose from! Be careful, the salad olives are the real deal and have the pit intact.

Yelp
This was the most delicious feta cheese fries i have ever tried for the first time as well as from Mina & Dimi's, the food portion was very good and the flavors were very well balanced. Hungry, get the platter

Yelp
Short story - 5 worthy! We will be back. Stumbled on this gem. The exterior is not an indicator of the delight that awaited inside. From our delightful waitress to the funky decor, Mina & Dimi's was delicious. Give it a go any time you're in the area.

Yelp
Fantastic Authentic Greek Cuisine. Cordial staff. Owner stopped by to chit chat a numbers of times. We will be in SAN ANTONIO this weekend and is our Anniversary so I imagine we will dine here. Love it and the ambiance.

Yelp
Came in for dinner with my boyfriend and had the best time. The food was fresh and full of flavor. Our server Manny was very kind with the best service. If you want traditional Greek food I would definitely stop in. :)

Yelp
I scheduled to pick up my new Fiesta wreath yesterday in the west side of town. I chose to visit @agreekhouse (Mina & Dimi's) since I've heard great things about it. It took about an hour drive with traffic from the Stone Oak area. We went in and the place was packed for dinner. We grab the last available table at the time. Dad had Lemonade, and Hubby and I had Mythos Greek beer. We started with the Taste It All Combo, which had huge dolmas, feta cheese, olives, pita, and much more. Good thing we got the smaller portion! We then shared the Hercules Platter (Single for 2), which had gyro, beef and chicken kabobs, Greek salad, more pita. The side of fries and oven potatoes were added for an extra charge. We tried the Baklava and Chocolate Mousse Pie. Then got the Chocolate Temptation and a complimentary baklava to go. Hubby accidentally hit the beer bottle and it shattered. Everyone shouted, "Opa!" Alexis came to sweep up the pieces and recognized Dad from my food posts. She was so nice to check in on us a few times. Good to see a family-owned business supported by the local community. There was definitely a stream of steady customers. Food and service was great so you'll have to stop by.

Yelp
Don't be fooled by the exterior in the run down stop mall. Step inside this little gem and you're greeted with lots of color and happy smiles. The wait staff is super friendly and helpful. They seemed genuinely happy to be there. The food is flavorful and filling without being heavy. We started with the flaming saganaki- delicious. Who doesn't like melt cheese. But this was some of the best, especially with the lemon juice. It didn't make sense in my head, but we trusted the server and it worked so well. I had Pastosio and my partner had The gyro plate with feta fries. Every single one was a hit. Perfectly flavored and tender. Would eat any of it again happily. Partner said his tzaziki was done of the best he's ever had The desserts are sweet but not cloying. So delicious!! There's enough selection to please a lot of tastes- meat lovers, pasta enthusiasts, vegetarians, everyone! We will be back to this charming delicious place.

Yelp
This is the beast Geek food I've ever had! Ingredients were fresh and flavorful! The service was outstanding! You gotta try the Feta Fries - best I've ever had! I was in town for Thanksgiving week and had to go back twice because it was soooo good! It's a must try if you're in SAT!

Jill W.

Yelp
This authentic Greek restaurant offers the freshest most delicious food in San Antonio! The service is unbeatable and the desserts are to die for. A must try is the spicy feta with homemade pita chips! You will not regret a visit to Mina & Dimi's.
google avatar

Lillian S.

Yelp
Another great meal at Mina & Dimi's! I had the gyro for the first time. It was excellent! I wish the place was bigger. It feels a bit claustrophobic and difficult to move through without disturbing other diners. I think they keep adding chairs and tables to accommodate their big lunch crowds. Rumor is that they may be moving next door; I hope so. The service is always great!
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
Can't believe I've never tried this place before! Truly a hidden gem This will be the only place I go to now for Greek food. The lamb was delicious and had so much flavor. I loved how soft the pita bread was and the spices they used. The feta french fries were amazing. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Service was excellent. The restaurant is not very big and the chairs were not comfortable but the quality of food and service made up 10 times over.

Yelp
In town for our son's USAF BMT graduation, and not in the mood for the usual burgers, pizza, or tacos. Found this place, and it was absolutely wonderful! We had moussaka, pastitsio, and a gyro, and everything came out quickly, hot, and incredibly delicious. My husband said it was the best gyro he's ever had. Highly recommend!

Louis L.

Yelp
This Greek House has friendly staff and good food. The dining area is a bit crowded. You order at the counter and then have a seat. The food is prepared relatively quickly and brought to your table. The owner was on site and was easy to speak with. There are belly dancers on Friday and Saturday, unfortunately I was there on a Tuesday. This is a good casual dining facility.
google avatar

Tracey Z.

Yelp
What a cute hole in the wall, but definitely a local favorite! This place was bustling on a Wednesday for lunch. We were happily surprised by the menu, having a lot of authentic dishes. The decor is super quirky and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I got the vegetarian Moussaka. I have never had this before but it reminded me a lot of lasagna. I loved the potato layer but I thought it overall could use more seasoning. This is definitely a healthier option meal. I was happily surprised by the feta fries. The sauce was delicious on the fries, although I did think it was a bit too salty!

Yelp
What a wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I tried Mina & Dimi's after hearing great recommendations. We must have arrived just at the right time because we were seated right away. Our waitress was so kind and welcoming and did an excellent job suggesting what to get as first timers. We shared the Hercules Platter for two with feta fries. It was all phenomenal! As we were dining the restaurant became packed and there was a line of people waiting. Worth the wait for sure!

Riley S.

Yelp
Always great service. Always great food. Always great entertainment if you go at the right time. Love this place! They never miss.

Yelp
Always great service and the food is fantastic. It's a must when I travel to JBSA Lackland! If you like Mediterranean Cuisine, you HAVE to make this a stop.

Matt A.

Yelp
Was great food and good service would def go again if lived in San Antonio! And the food is well priced for what you get!

Yelp
Great first time experience, service, and awesome food! Will definitely be returning and recommending to family/friends.

Yelp
Im currently in SA for an Air Force school and my class decided to stop here on a whim, just looking for regular Greek food. This spot was not regular. It was delicious! It's small, but intimate and authentic. The staff were all so nice. Genuine smiles all around. I didn't catch the name of the lady who took my order but she was sweet as could be. I don't normally tip at the counter but I made sure to add 20% because she was just that nice. Our group was large, about 10 of us, but we all received our food pretty quick. It was honestly impressive considering how many of us there were, and we all ordered different things. The food is to DIE for. I ordered the lamb and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly, tasted great, and was tender. The feta fries are out of this world good. You have to get them. There wasn't one person in our group who wasn't satisfied with their meal. Bottom line, I'll be going back before I leave this schoolhouse. I wish there was a Mina and Dimi's everywhere.

Yelp
If you love Greek food music and culture then you're going to love Mina & dimis great Greek food have been getting my Greek food experience here for several years now great location

Yelp
My first time having a gyro and they exceeded my expectations! The proportions are amazing and they really give you lots of food! Super filling gyro they really stuff it with delicious and tender lamb meat! Super fluffy and soft bread and the tzatziki sauce is to die for! The feta cheese fries are loaded with feta and it's pact with flavor! I also enjoyed the side salad they give you its like a ceasar salad with a vinaigrette salsa and it makes me feel healthy after a hearty meal. The baklava cheesecake is a must try, very different from your regular American cheesecake! I like the flakey texture and the cheese is very light not as dense as American cheesecakes. It also comes with a sweet sauce that you dip or drizzle the sauce over the cheesecake. I got my food for pick up and when I went inside I really felt at home! Super cozy spot with lots of memorable decorations. The staff is super nice and friendly and invited us to come in next time and I definitely invite you all to come in and stop by as well! Overall I love this small local business! Definitely a hidden gem!

Tammie R.

Yelp
Exceptional food and service! My Honey ate here with some colleagues and loved it so much, he brought me two days later. This is now my favorite Greek restaurant. I positively recommend the Gyro Platter which has gyro meat made with the perfect blend of lamb and beef, scrumptious frita fries (substitution option), fresh pita bread, and a Greek salad. They also had an abundance of ravishing desserts that were not even listed online. Rumor has it they are moving across the street to a bigger location. Lunchtime gets crazy packed, they are so good.
google avatar

Adam P.

Yelp
The food is amazing!!!! We came to the restaurant 2 days in a row! It is an amazing casual dining experience. The friendly service and our wonderful server Brandy made the dining experience even better. If I could give more than 5 stars I would give them 10!!
google avatar

Stephen C.

Yelp
My food was completely undercooked and took 25 minutes to get, plus the 30 minutes to order, also they tried to charge 75 cents to make it to go. It's crowded as in spacing as they're just trying to make money and not serve good food, there's next to zero customer service in one of the most friendly states in the country
google avatar

Gabriel S.

Yelp
Everything we got at this restaurant was 10/10, including recommend getting baked spinach pie as a appetizer, and the hercules plate if your with someone. And we also shared a blueberry cheesecake it was fantastic. no lie its the best food ive ever had. the waiter was also amazing quick with everything and very sweet.

Yelp
Mina & Dimi's is the perfect hole in the wall favorite! The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it's so cozy and cute! The service is amazing every time and the food is to die for!!! Everything is cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly and portioned perfectly! If you like Greek food you would love this place! I can't recommend it enough!!!

Yelp
Greek is not my fav but the misses loves it. It's an acquired taste for some meals I have yet to achieve, yet she is the champion of it. Olives no gracias, dolmas no gracias, fried okra no gracias. Yet she raves about it. She says a 5 I say a 3 so we met in the middle. All joking aside, they do alot of things great. I'm not judging by my preferences, it's the execution of some items. Let's always start with the numerous positives. The food came out promptly and hot. We started with the taste it all combo. The bread was great with the oven potato and the sauces. The better half of course loved the olives, dolmas, and okra. I think she is part Greek just doesn't know it. It was all great. We had the lamb souvlaki platter with fries and the deluxe gyro with feta fries. The feta fries are delicious!!!! Dang they were good and wish we had ordered double. My lamb was cooked perfectly!!! I love lamb and it was perfectly seasoned and not too gamey. The gyro meat was also very flavorful and not dry. The few negatives....The bread that was served with our platter was alot better than the bread for the gyros. We have visited 3/4 years ago and it wasn't the same bread. This was thicker and seemed more store bought, like what you would find in a grocery store. Also, which was confusing was the ordering procedure. It was crowded and you have to order at the counter. It is small, so if you go during any rush hour, be prepared to be cramped or wait for a table. We are definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu and order more of those heavenly feta fries! Bravo to the amazing service even though it was crowded!!
google avatar

Louis T.

Yelp
The food is great! My first got the chicken kabob platter with feta fries and I got the gyro platter with baked potato. Was so on point. Service was fast and very friendly. It was busy but not overly packed but everyone was enjoying themselves. Always a great place to enjoy good food. So worth it.

Yelp
Food was Delicious. Friendly & Quick service. Place is clean and nice. Sorry no pics again. ‍

Yelp
Food is Amazing!!!!! Best Feta Fries I have ever had! Everything we ate was soooo goooood. Would recommend to everyone.

Yelp
Brandi WAS A BEAST!!! She was so kind and knowledgeable over the EXTENSIVE menu. I came and ate here on a whim a few weeks back and since then I have been anxious to introduce my family to the great flavor, phenomenal ambiance and overall experience that can only be had in a restaurant that has been open since 1993! Love this

Yelp
OG San Antonio. This restaurant is a city staple for delicious Greek food. Regardless of whether it's lunch or dinner time, people are coming here to eat. Yes, the restaurant is considered a hole in the wall, but those are the best places to eat. As soon as you come in, you are greeted and treated like family. The prices are more than reasonable for the portion sizes, and you can taste the love that went into your food. This is a legit family owned business, and it is worth the drive across town.

Yelp
Food was average. Place was really busy with locals during lunch rush. Feta fries were okay. Gyro salad and gyros okay.

Leo A.

Yelp
Everything went well we were visiting our son that is stationed there in the Air Force. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the ambience was outstanding. If you're ever in San Antonio and looking for a unique dining experience, please try Mina and Demi's of Highway 90 San Antonio. texas.

Yelp
Came here to pick up some Greek food a couple of months ago. This was the closest place and saw great reviews. The service was good. The ambience was nice. Place was crowded on a Friday night. I ordered the gyro sandwich, which was outstanding. Highly recommend coming here if you are in the mood for some Greek food.

Yelp
When I moved to San Antonio, I found this place. Food is great and always has. Today I came in for lunch and introduce my friends to this wonderful place. Upon ordering, I was very disappointed. I ordered exactly off the menu and my food was wrong. I order a gyro combo with a salad and the order was wrong. I told the waitress she said it would cost if I wanted a salad. When you make a mistake you own up to it. My chicken gyro platter combo was wrong. I asked for Tikki sauce bcuz I don't like the honey mustard. The waitress was rude. I been going here for the past 2 years. I'm very disappointed how the whole situation was handle.

Yelp
My husband and I love this tiny restaurant! While it may be small, it's big on flavor!! The pita bread is so fluffy and soft. It just melts in your mouth. Our server, Marie, was great, too. She brought us some dill sauce and told us to use it on our chicken. She also recommended the feta fries and asked us to vote on them as best fries in SA. She did tell us to wait until we tried them before voting, but man, she was right! They were delicious!! We ended up putting that dill sauce on those too! We actually put that sauce on everything!! We ordered the Gyro platter, and it reminded us of how fajitas are served. It comes out sizzling hot on a comal. The gyro meat was delicious, and the chicken and beef were just, but the salad and fries put this meal over the top! Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert, but I definitely plan on trying that baklava next time.
