I love love love it here. Highly recommended to try their catch of the day 👍. I had the seabass, which is their local fish. It was very good! My husband enjoyed his steak. Service is exceptional. They easily accommodated us to sit by the beach, and when we were done eating, the waiter even asked us to stay longer if we were relaxed and happy to just enjoy the view. Mariachi band came by to play a song for us. We drove to get there, street parking was not an issue when we went on a Saturday early dinner. Vendors are walking by the shore to sell local handmade bags, blankets, and bracelets, it didn't bother us. I even bought myself a cute handmade tote for beach use. Overall, I really liked it here. Highly recommended 👌

Google
Always outstanding! One of my favorite places in the world. The food, the service, the overall aesthetic of this restaurant is truly top tier in every way. From start to finish, magical delights throughout. Even coming from Puerto Vallarta, it’s worth the journey for a special night! When staying closer, it never gets old.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mina in Punta Mita, Mexico is absolutely incredible! The atmosphere is stunning, the service is top-notch, and the tuna tartar was out of this world. They prepared the fish we caught that day to absolute perfection—so fresh and flavorful! The drinks, food, and service were spot on from start to finish. If you're in Punta Mita, Mina is a must-visit! Highly recommend!

Google
Came in for lunch with some friends. Great service the entire time, very friendly servers. We ordered queso and sashimi. Queso was really thick, you couldn’t really dip chips into the cheese, you had to really pull a chunk out. Sashimi was good. Wasabi was strong - loved that. We all ordered margaritas - two skinny margs and one passionfruit. They serve the drink and then pour the tequila in the table - works when it’s an iced margarita but I got frozen marg and pouring tequila in it made it look gross and melted a bit of the drink.

Google
Had a better experience at sister restaurant, Pescadero, but the atmosphere here is spectacular—-especially at sunset. Magic! The queso fundido was excellent, the Mexican Combo was good (though the carnitas is much better than the cochina public). And the yellowfin tuna was perfection.

Google
BLUE EYE reviewer back! Thus might be the best Mexican restaurant i have ever been to !! From walking in, to the service, and the food!! I came here specifically to have the chicken Mole, who doesn't like spicy, slight sweet but savory food!! BIG Mama makes the most unbelievable blue tortillas ever!! If you can , get your butt in a seat here by the ocean! Oh yeah, also accommodates vegetarian meals!!! Cheers everyone and thank you Mina and staff!

Google
We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner on the beachfront at Mina & it was THE BEST DECISION!!! The food/drink, atmosphere & service was 10/10. We worked with Ana when preparing the contract & menu. She listened to all my concerns regarding service, dietary restrictions, overall experience & went above and beyond. There was even some live music that came by during dinner service that was a beautiful touch. We were thrilled with our experience here. THANK YOU THANK YOU! If you are looking for a place to host a small and traditional dinner, you can't go wrong with Mina.

Google
Look I won’t sugarcoat it, this place is a bit pricey even by Mexican standards. But it’s worth it. This was the best meal and service I had during my time in Mexico. My boyfriend and I shared the red snapper and it was incredible we’re still talking about it.

Yelp
The best margarita in Punta Mita! The pineapple ginger margarita had freshly muddled ingredients topped off with tequila at the table. Such a great view and setting to enjoy a wonderful cool drink. The funded with homemade tortillas is simple and delicious. The homemade tamales are a bit different but wonderful! The star of the show is the enchiladas verde and the churros! Great portion size for price and the churros are enough for the whole table!

Yelp
Service was good. Price was high for the value. Fish of the day was way over cooked. Nice setting. Mixed drinks were good. The chips were odd with the guacamole. I would probably skip but a few people in our party liked it. The carne asada was like rubber for one of our guests.

Yelp
We loved this place so much we came here twice for dinner. Service was exceptional both times. Great atmosphere with lively music and nice water views. We loved the table side salsa (which isn't on menu but we saw everyone else ordering it, and the table side guac) and drink. My Cadillac margarita was great. The Malaga's were so good, excellent mole!! My husband really liked his seafood pozole and the catch of the day was super fresh.

Yelp
Beautiful location perfect for watching the sunset; really great drinks, great ceviche, appetizers, and some of the best mole you're going to find in the area

Yelp
We had an incredible experience here. We sat right by the water. Service was excellent. Gustavo, the owner stopped by to personally make sure we were enjoying our experience. The food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Pretty sure this is my new favorite restaurant in Mexico. They have the ability to be Michelin stared in a few years, THAT good. We had the tuna poke, mushroom ceviche and shrimp appetizer. Salsa was made at the table and flavorful, spicy, PERFECTION. We had some tequila, a few margaritas and the best pina colada of my life. The service was above and beyond amazing, so kinda. The location was obviously 10/10 - on the beach and quite harbor. We just stopped in for drinks and apps but immediately wished we were pre hungry. We are coming back to Punta Mita in a few months and already planning our next lunches and dinners here!

Laurie L.

Yelp
Great staff, table side made fresh salsa, guacamole and our cocktails! Amazing food and staff. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Exceptional restaurant! Even better than what we expected, such a beautiful view, great service, and great food!

Yelp
Well-made Mexican dinner meals on the sand just outside the Punta Mita gates. Very fresh ingredients and amazing sauces served to outdoor tables. They'll parade the fresh catch of the day to your table before you order and before the mariachi arrive too. The ceviche is excellent, the three sauces to go with the catch del dia are awesome, and the chicken in mole is incredibly tasty!!

Yelp
DeMita was our favorite dinner during our stay in Punta de Mita! The margarita started off the evening and the waiter brings the bottle of tequila to the table to top off your drink so you can choose how strong you want it. The view is pretty hard to beat, especially when the sun is setting. If you come during high season makes sure to have a reservation in advance.

Yelp
FOOD POISONING ALERT! This place is now called Mina's. Unfortunately after a pricey meal spending $200 for 3 people, I got sick right after eating their food and drinks. We got ceviche, shrimp, vegetables and cocktails. My other two friends also got sick, but I got hit the worst that night and things only got worse the following day. I was in so much pain, I couldn't go out and my stomach is still having issues days later. It ruined the rest of my time in Punta Mita. They must be using contaminated local water to cook their food and drinks despite their high-end prices. They also own La Pescadoro and the only sushi restaurant downtown. I would avoid all of their restaurants at all costs!

Kelli O.

Yelp
Food was amazing, service was top notch, and the view was the best. We loved the mariachi's. We loved it so much we are going back tonight!

Yelp
Our family of 5 had a fantastic evening T Mona. The service was impeccable from the hostess to the goodbye, and our waiter Alejandro was fantastic. Beautiful setting, delicious authentic Mexican food (the mole sauce is one I'll be trying to recreate for years) and just a lovely evening all around. They had a mariachi band which was nice, and wasn't way too loud as we experienced in other establishments on our vacation. It was on the pricier side ...around $300US total for 5 regular menu entrees, 5 drinks and two desserts. I also recommend going to their website to make reservations- we were lucky they could take us. Would be a great spot to celebrate the last night of vacation or a special night out.

Jack S.

Yelp
Let's start with the good: the ambiance was very good but there was not many tables. The service was good if you speak Spanish but if not, it was hard. A few guys came around and sang song which was great. The food was fine. The guacamole was very good but the chips were questionable. I ordered carne asada with a side of tortillas and the brought out two skinny steaks that looked very questionable. I got one tortilla on the side which broke when I touched it. Overall is a as fine but it was pricey.

Yelp
$805 mx for 2 mezcalitas and one beer!!!??? outrageous prices, definitely not going back and not recommended.... before going there we had lunch somewhere else, La Rustica, and the bill was 1200 mx...pizza, 3 Mezcalitas and 1 naranjada.... Mina NO La rústica Si

Yelp
Loved, loved this place wish we had found it earlier on our vacation. It's tucked behind a hotel storefront right on the water. The decor is gorgeous and the lighting very calming. The food is legit Mexican with some specialties from across Mexico. It's kid friendly which we appreciated and they took our dietary restrictions seriously. Service was impeccable, our server made recommendations for dishes and was always around to keep the drinks and tortillas coming. We did get some mosquito bites here so wear bug spray.

Yelp
We staying in Punta de Mita over Christmas and I chose this restaurant for Christmas dinner based on a recommendation from a friend and the reviews. The service was amazing. Everyone was very friendly, accommodating and quick to bring anything we asked for. Unfortunately the food was slightly disappointing, perhaps because they were so busy for the holiday. We shared a salad and queso for appetizers, both were good but not great. My husband got the combo meal and I ordered shrimp chili relleno. His was piping hot and very good mine was luke warm which really ruined the dish for me. The restaurant is also pretty pricey, which we didn't mind, but a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. Nevertheless the service was impeccable which is why I gave 4 stars. We live in San Diego and am a bit of a foodie so the food I would give 3 stars as it was nothing spectacular.

Yelp
DeMita gave us easily one of the best dinners of our life. Truly a spot that we'll remember forever and already can't wait to get back to. Beyond the great staff, the views, being able to eat right on the beach, and the incredible food, it's going to be very hard to top this place. The queso is a must and the best we've ever had. Every single dish, the lobster, rice, guac, salsa was 5 stars and so we're the drinks. Can't wait to come back one day.

Yelp
The food was amazing! The location and atmosphere was amazing. The staff was so friendly and wanted to hang out and chat with you.

Yelp
There is a chain of these Si Senor across Puerta Vallarta, each a franchisee though and we happened to have the chance to eat at two of these during our trip. One in the Zona Romantica area in PV and this one that is north of PV in Puta De Mita area (beach). When we walked in the guys promised we would like this more than the PV one and we went with it. We ordered almost 8 items from their menu, yeah, we ate a lot that day! Each item was amazing, flavorful, delicious and plated really nice. We obviously mostly had the seafood items but also got them to make us a fresh salsa on molcajete and it was just some burnt chilies, tomatoes, garlic and onion but it was the best salsa I had during our trip that wasn't Hot or spicy but was perfect and amazing. The service is remarkable and prices tad higher than PV but we had a great time.

Yelp
Hands down some of the best food I've had while visiting. My must go to spot was "cafe de artist", but this place is my new go to. The service was fast, they were extremely attentive and they were very personable. All the food that came out was absolutely delicious. The fish and octopus were cooked perfectly. The scenery and decor at the restaurant was also very beautiful. Check the pictures out for your self.

Yelp
Service was amazing, the food was impeccable, the scenery and decorations were beautiful, and they brought soursop sorbet to our table at the end!

Yelp
This was probably one of my favorite dining experiences I've ever had. And I eat out a lot. Had a reservation for dinner but we were close by so we stopped in an hour early and they made room for us even though they were busy. We ordered some drinks at the bar while we waited and the view of the sun setting was breathtaking. The bartenders were super friendly and very generous with their pours, even asking us if we wanted more as they were adding in the tequila. Once we were seated, at a table right by the water no less, we were quickly attended to by our server. He was super knowledgeable, funny and accessible. He told us about the catch of the day and almost everyone got one of those. He even took close note of my wife's food allergies and had the chef make a whole menu of items just to accommodate her. Really one of the sweetest and most thoughtful things I've seen. I ordered the mole pablano and it was probably the best mole I've ever had. Super savory and rich with just a hint of sweetness bathed in spice. Incredible! They made salsas and guacamole fresh for us right next to the table and it was unreal. Truly special. If you find yourself in Punta de Mita or even Sayulita I strongly recommend treating yourself to an incredible meal.

Yelp
Ay Dios mío! Hands down the best meal we had on our trip. My husband and I won't stop talking about it. We arrived for lunch. The restaurant sign is actually MINA, which is a bit confusing but if you see that you're at the right place! The restaurant is set on the beach. The decor is stunning and relaxing. The staff is so friendly and hospitable. After receiving complimentary tuna tartare in a chip from the chef, we ordered the tuna sashimi. This tuna was by far better than we've had on Hawaii (and we lived there for three months this year). Incredibly fresh. The ponzu it came with was perfect. Then, onto the main course. I ordered chicken mole and he ordered the fresh fish - mahi mahi. The chicken was succulent and the mole sauce was the best I have had. I am still dreaming about it. My husband was also moaning over every bite of mahi mahi- again, he said much better than what we had in Hawaii (I was shocked!). Alongside our entrees, we enjoyed 4 different margarita flavors. All of them were AMAZING. So refreshing. Note that the staff give heavy pours of tequila and we were feelin GREAT walking out of the restaurant! Lol But before we left, we had to get dessert. We ordered pistachio flan with passionfruit sorbet. Again, it knocked our socks off. By this point, I think you get the picture. YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!

Yelp
I found this restaurant because my friends were staying at the adjacent hotel. I thought the place looked beautiful and authentic. It has a great vibe. The menu has a variety of things from fish to carne asada. I ordered the fish of the day Al arriero which the waiter recommended. It was the right amount of spice with a bit of a kick. The Tamarindo margaritas are great. The food was so good we went back for lunch and dinner. Over all the food here is amazing in fact I often think about it and want to go back to punta mita just to go eat here. I'm a world traveler and eat fish all around the world and this place is by far my favorite. I'm not one to do reviews but this one deserves it!!!

Yelp
So, my wife and I ventured to Si Senor for our last evening in Punta Mita. We had already enjoyed a fantastic meal down the street at Tuna Blanca, and Si Senor had similar Yelp reviews so we decided to try. The short version - the outstanding food was more than overwhelmed by a lousy atmosphere and poor service. We arrive for the early seat and the restaurant was fairly empty. We secured a nice table on right on the beach, which offered a decent view over the water. The table was in the sand, which creates a slightly unlevel experience. When approached by the waited, he was dismissive and I felt like he was scowling at us the entire time. The vendors who strolled up and down the beach trying to pawn their wares to use directly from the other side of the wall was annoying as well The amuse bouche that was presented was delicious, but we started to feel pressured to order. Very detracting and out of character for other meal experiences we had while in the area As the restaurant started to get more crowded, the noise level rose tremendously, the waitstaff became more distracted and, really it started to feel like just another Tex-Mex joint in the United States. Loud groups of tourists sucking down margaritas - not really a romantic or relaxing evening Again, the food was outstanding. The catch of the day was perfectly flavored and the seafood pozole was out of this world. It's a shame that we won't be returning because of all the other aspects of the experience

Yelp
Beautiful waterfront setting in punta mita. Excellent wait staff, delicious drinks. Came here for my birthday dinner with friends and we had a great meal, from queso fundido to chicken mole enchiladas, everything was very good.

Yelp
If you're in/near Punta de Mita you'll really be missing out if you don't have a meal here. Everything we had was fresh & delicious. The service is friendly & helpful. By far the best meal we had in Punta De Mita. The drinks are strong & the dishes are well executed. Can't recommend the garlic shrimp entree enough, it was so good & memorable.
google avatar

Christina R.

Yelp
Great ambiance and views of the water/sunset. I wouldn't come here if you're looking for an "authentic" meal but I would come here if you don't mind a place geared toward tourists with solid food and ok pricing. I would say it's bit pricey but everything we got tasted good and was cooked well. Also, the whole show with the margaritas makes it worth the price. All the tequila! Thank you. The service we got was excellent as well. Completely attentive with many suggestions and friendly smiles.

Edward M.

Yelp
What a tremendous, tremendous place. The food is fantastic, the service is so friendly and welcoming. The view and ambience are not to be believed. Just go here, and then go again until your trip ends.

Yelp
We arrived later in the day after a long day's travel, without clear dinner plans, but with empty bellies. Our travel mates had remembered Sì Señor and we set out to find it. Make a reservation if you want to eat at this magical gem. There's seating on the beach and not a bad table as far as I could tell. We arrived at 7:45 and they sportingly sat our table of 7 at the bar. The ambiance felt like a Disney set, in the best possible way, complete with an unobtrusive (at least to our party) mariachi band. Service was excellent-friendly and attentive but not obsequious. A standout was Jonah, the bartender, who probably squeezed over 100 limes while we dined. He responded favorably to our attention, making us feel welcome and livening the party. Food was good. The standout was the red snapper. Flavorful and enough food for two. I had the ahi special, a generous slab of grade A ahi, which was clean-tasting, but lacked sauce. My husband had the enchiladas, which were good. Tortillas were house made for the tacos and the report was the shrimp was good as well. Highly recommend Jonah's margaritas!

agnes l.

Yelp
Beautiful place for a sunset dinner. They also have a live mariachis coming to your table. Amazing prawns.

Yelp
If you are over the crappy food at your all inclusive and need a delicious meal for your soul then look no further. We have been so disappointed with the food where we are staying and so we decided to try our luck off the grounds. We came across this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did. My favorite dish we got was the chicken enchiladas. They had so much flavor! The queso fundido was also very good. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the carne asada. It was cooked perfectly but just didn't have a lot of flavor. The margaritas had a generous amount of liquor! Definitely give this place a try if you ventur

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food. Live music, great margaritas, beach side.

Yelp
This restaurant is now called MINA. I believe it's the same owners as La Pescadora, their decor/chairs/menu is all very similar, but sadly the food was not as good. We started off with guacamole, salsa, and queso fundido (my favorite part of the evening!). The cheese was fresh, salty, and perfectly melted to go on a chip or a tortilla. The flour and corn tortillas were all handmade and delicious. We tried the vegetable lasagna (skip it unless you're a vegetarian), the sea bass (fish was good and fresh but the sauce on top ruined it), and the pork carnitas (good flavor but very greasy). Overall, nothing fabulous. We also had the chocolate mousse for dessert (same as La Pescadora) and it was just as good. A bonus about MINA and La Pescadora - they bring the tequila to the table and pour until you say stop or the glass fills up!
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
We had a romantic dinner right on the water here and it was wonderful all around. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the all around vibe was relaxing and fun. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and enjoyed them very much. The lighting is particularly sweet, making for an excellent date. Loved it!

Jonathan S.

Yelp
Food was amazing, service was even better. If you're in the area, come here and eat, drink, & be merry!
google avatar

Jim Z.

Yelp
We have been dining here for years since it was called Si Seńor. The food and ambiance have not changed and it still remains one of the best restaurants in town. The service is amazing and very helpful in meeting your every need.
google avatar

Marc W.

Yelp
This place is a must! Table side salsa and guacamole is the best I've ever had and the Cadillac margaritas are delicious. Literally sitting 10 feet from the breaking surf, we enjoyed the fresh daily-caught prawns and red snapper. The service was great and the food delicious.
google avatar

Alex P.

Yelp
Now it's called MINA but the food is still amazing and the location oceanfront is wonderful. Great flavors that aren't pulling any punches for watered down gringo pallets. Definitely would go back!
google avatar

Ricardo S.

Yelp
Great food and service and ambiance. One of our favorites in punta de mita. Will come back many more times

Dani H.

Yelp
By far the best meal we've had on our trip - and we've been to some AMAZING restaurants while in Punta Mita. Splurge for the Cadillac margarita - delicious! The regular house margarita is good, too... but more on the tart side. We split three entrees: the seared tuna steak, the famous blue shrimp, and the pork shank in banana leaves (forget the real name). All were AMAZING! However, the best was the pork. We were blown away. It is served with a green sauce and homemade tortillas on the side... glorious!!!! Dessert were the churros and PISTACHIO FLAN YES PLEASE. Sooo delicious! We made reservations for our final night so we can try additional items. Ambiance was fabulous. Make sure to get a fan right next to your table because it's outdoors... but nice and shaded. This is a MUST GO!
google avatar

Lissa K.

Yelp
This was our favorite dinner in PM. There seems to be some confusion on Yelp about the name but it was called Mina when we were there. The ambiance is super charming and the service is top notch...cool, scented napkins are provided to wipe your hands when you sit down and the chef offers an amuse bouche before dinner and a sorbet afterwards. The prices are very reasonable for the amazing view and service. Don't miss this place when you are in Punta Mita.
google avatar

Gregg B.

Yelp
This place has a great vibe. Very populated and has a beachy club theme going on Right on the water with tons of palm trees, lots of seating and very casual We had a great waiter with a great sense of humor- Ricardo He recommended the spicy cucumber margaritas that were very good I like the fresh fish presentation of full fish hanging from a bamboo pole The queso fundido and blue fin sashimi were delicious The lobster tamales were very nice The snapper with piccata sauce was very good The blue shrimp were a drop under cooked but still fresh and tasty Overall I would come back a second time with a large party. Viva Si Señor
google avatar

Peter I.

Yelp
It's good here, very good. The setting is on the beach and sunsets are intoxicatingly beautiful! The sales people on the beach can be a tad annoying, but we did buy a bowl that we love... Now, the owner Gustavo is all over the place and is the passion and energy of Si Senor! He's fun and completely involved every night. The food (believe it or not) was the reason for the 4 stars. They bring out a pole of fish and do a whole show about it just came out of the water. Well, I worked at a restaurant in New Hampshire where the fish literally just came out of the water and these fish didn't. Fresh, but not right out. I had sea bass and it was good, but not life changing. The dishes are served simple and very farm to table. I love that. Wine list is really good, just remember you get stuck with a 16% vat tax after. I'll definitely go again and see if the elusive 5 is there.

Yelp
Excellent!! We are here 3 out of five nights. guacamole made table side and ceviche are incredible! Super friendly staff, reasonable prices, delicious food. The views from every table are amazing. Trust me, this is a must!

Yelp
After arriving from the airport late afternoon and not having eaten since breakfast, my husband and I were hungry. We decided to stroll through town and see what looked good. A friend of ours suggested this place, so we went in, and immediately were warmly greeted by staff. They even re-arranged a table on the sand by the water so it would be a place setting for two. Very romantic! While they were out of one of the items we wanted, Cochinitas, we will be back to give it a try another day. We ordered the ceviche (to die for!!), the carne asada, the best I've had with one of their spicy sauces, and the tuna. Definitely the best tuna - perfectly cooked seared with ginger. We are celebrating our 20th anniversary a year late due to COVID and the waiter brought us out a delicious chocolate dessert (I can't remember the name). As I said we will be going back before we leave. It is one of the best meals I've ever had and my husband and I can't stop talking about it.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in Punta Mita! Absolutely beautiful place with a stunning view of the ocean/sunset. Food is fresh and fantastic. Staff is personable and the drinks are strong! A must spot every time I'm in town. Shrimp, Tuna, Pork - can't go wrong with whatever you order.

Yelp
This is another restaurant that came highly recommended. This was an average Mexican food experience that came at an above average cost. Pros: Leonardo was our waiter and he made the meal memorable. He was a fun, affable, and gregarious waiter. He spoke Spanish with my son and was a joy to be around. This restaurant is located right on the beach with a great view of the harbor. Cons: As I already mentioned, the food was very average. I had carne asada. It was a plain skirt steak with very little flavor. My boys had enchiladas verde that was just so so and my wife had rolled tacos that were ok. If you are in a pinch and must have Mexican food, then this restaurant will do. If I were you, I would try my luck elsewhere.
