We have stayed at Four Seasons twice now, and every time, we absolutely love the food throughout the resort! Mina Fish House is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers. Everything we tried was incredibly fresh and delicious. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, making it perfect for a special celebration or a romantic dinner. The service is excellent, and the stylish interior adds to the experience. We highly recommend booking a table inside, as the weather can be unpredictable, and it might start raining outside. Definitely one of the best places on the island for a seafood dinner!

Food was good but not great. Ordered the surf and turf, and my wife got the whole fish. Service was excellent and really enjoyed the fish sommelier, who explained different options. Views are amazing.

Google
Service and Vibe was great. Food was average at best. The tuna I ordered didn’t seem like it had seasoning on it at all, but was cooked correctly. The child grilled fish was overcooked and tough to eat. The Cod had a good mix of flavors and was cooked correctly.

Food was excellent, atmosphere was great with live music, we had a large group and billing got messed up but that was the only issue. Dessert was delicious and good wine selection

Came here for birthday dinner since I was staying at Four Seasons Ko Olina. Despite reading the mixed reviews decided to gamble and give Minas Fish House benefit of the doubt . The next day I wrote this review and didn't feel great about the experience and wanted to share it with people who are on the fence eating at Minas. Tuna and fois gras 2/5 Fois gras was perfectly seared but tuna steak had too much tendons in the muscle and eating it raw was a challenge. Noe's tuna appetizer just blows this dish out of the water. Can't recommend this dish..the attention to details and care is clearly missing . Spanish squid 3/5 Mediocre. The chunks of squid was cut too small. The seasoning and the greens were okay but it was thrown into a bowl and tossed around and visually plated like a salad. If you've never had Spanish squid before this one definitely ranks at the who bottom. I felt like the management decided to put it in the menu because it's a popular item at other restaurants. They need to rework the visuals and also the recipe. It's it's really lackluster. Nothing exciting. Tomato salad. 1/5. ( Terrible) Mostly arugula and a few chunks of flavorless tomatoes. Totally missed the mark. They should take this off the menu and not serve it. Bartenders special 5/5 Decide to take a gamble and go with a bartender special. It was a really unique cocktail made with mezcal. Hard to describe what salad it was terrible but flavor notes were complex. Smokey sweet sour umami. Final thoughts If you want to stay someplace close to your hotel at the Four seasons Mina's fish House is a great option for beachside views and livemusic. Set lower expectations for the food and of course you're going to pay resort prices and that's just the way how it goes. You're not going to recommend your friends this restaurant. Tips: If you sit on the lower level, you'll be eaten up by tiny biting bugs. They're so microscopic but there's a lot of them there. Try sitting up on the upper deck away from the upholstered patio furniture. If you come for seating around 6:00 p.m. The sun is still out and most of the customers sun shiny directly on their face at an angle. I noticed that the restaurant offers diners personal umbrellas as there are no actual umbrellas on the lower deck.

Had dinner at Mina’s Fish House in Ko Olina, the food was absolutely delicious, especially the fresh fish options. The setting is beautiful, right by the beach, perfect for a relaxing evening. Service was okay, nothing exceptional, but overall still a great experience thanks to the flavors and the view.

We were staying at the Four Seasons and decided to eat at Mina’s Fish House, and boy, we did not regret it. It was just wonderful. Here is a more detailed overview: - Food It was incredible. The Mahi Mahi was amazing, and the swordfish was to die for. My only complaint is that the Shirley Temple was a little weird-tasting, but after stirring it up a bit, it tasted good. - Service It was a little rough. We were at a table of 11, and our waiter had to make some of our drinks by himself. I think they were short-staffed, but they were still incredibly kind. - Views and Atmosphere I loved the views. It was right on the ocean, and it was just amazing. Also, the atmosphere was perfect. So overall, I would totally recommend Mina’s Fish House!

We visited for the first time while celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday and my sister’s birthday in Hawaii. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the drinks were excellent—a highlight of the experience. For food, we tried the Garlic Duck Fat Fries, Lobster Whipped Potato Purée, Mayo Mahi Dorado, and the Grand Char-Broiled Shellfish Platter, which included oysters, lobster tail, crab legs, and shrimp. The fries and potato purée were flavorful, and the oysters and shrimp were quite good. However, the lobster and crab legs fell short, given the price point. The lobster was overcooked, making it challenging to remove from the shell, and the crab legs were disappointingly small, with just enough meat for a single person to get a taste. While there was plenty of food for our party of seven to enjoy overall, I’d recommend managing expectations regarding the shellfish platter. It has a great ambiance, great drinks, and mostly solid food, but some refinements in the execution of the seafood would make it even better!

Yelp
Had an excellent time dining at Mina's Fish House! Wanted to take my parents here for a nice meal overlooking the beautiful views in Ko Olina. Though we've been to the lagoons many times before to swim, Mina's Fish House offers an elevated experience with great food and atmosphere. Parking is available through the Four Seasons via valet. The restaurant validates parking up to four hours, so we took our time exploring the hotel on the way to the restaurant. We did have to wander around a bit before finding their location next to the beach, so keep that in mind when making your reservation. The menu offers a variety of items specializing in seafood. For myself, I ordered the Chili Miso Glazed Black Cod. My parents went with one of the seasonal fish entrees which consisted of swordfish. We also got duck fat fries for the table to share. It's also worth noting that the restaurant gives complimentary pita bread and hummus for the table. The portions are deceptively small and ended up very delicious and filling. My cod was delicate but bursting with flavor. My parents enjoyed their dishes as well! We ended up sharing an Exotic Baked Hawaii which mimicked a Baked Alaskan but with Hawaiian staples like pineapple, coconut, and macadamia. Though pricey, we're so glad we got to try Mina's Fish House! We would definitely return for a fancier dining experience.

Yelp
Food so good, we stopped by 2 days in a row. We were staying at Aulani next door and had dinner twice here. It is just a 2 minute short walk along the beach to get to Four Seasons. The food is phenomenal. We loved the octopus appetizer, the miso glaze fish, and the rice pudding. That rice pudding is the real star of the show for us- we will gladly eat it over and over again! We are going to make Mina's a must have every time we stay at Aulani.

Yelp
Delicious food and amazing views...what's not to love? Located in the Four Seasons Koolina, Mina's Fish House offers an upscale meal with a laidback feel. To drink, my brother suggested his favorite which was the Puuloa's Keeper: matcha infused vodka, coconut, Thai basil, pandan, and lime. It was a refreshing drink and perfect to go with the picture perfect ocean views. For our appetizers, we ordered the Blistered Shishito & Sweet Mini Peppers, Broiled Spanish Octopus, and Heirloom Tomato Salad. Each dish was flavorful and the perfect light start to our meal. For our entrees, we ordered the broccolini, 40oz Tomahawk Ribeye, Whole Fried Fish which was prepared with a curry twist & chickpeas, and Steamed Chinese style fish with green beans. Everything was cooked to perfection and we definitely over ordered! The service was great. I would recommend dining here.

Yelp
Great foods everything was excellent! 10|10 Great service 10|10 And yes the ambiance its located at Four Seasons Hotel Koolina what else can we say? 1000000|10 We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Everything here was absolutely FABULOUS. Like one of the best meals we had and even better that it was part of the hotel. We were seated pretty quickly since there was a big group of us. Our server was perfect and made sure we were loving everything.

Yelp
My friend raves about Mina's Fish House, so when I needed to find a place for dinner to celebrate two birthdays in the family, I booked on Open Table. I loved the fact that I got to drive in the opposite direction of "traffic." You don't have to deal with parking as it is all valet service, but comped by the restaurant for four hours! The staff are all very professional and friendly. I was a little bit early; but they sat me anyway. Not as other restaurants where you need to have your entire party present before they seat you. It's open air seating, but there are tables under cover, which I needed for my elderly parents' comfort. Later in the evening there was live music- nice! Our server, I think his name was Ryan, was spot on! Great service always checking in. He inquired of food allergies-which I have a couple and assured accommodations with be made on the orders. Do you know- you can choose what type of water you want to drink?! Bottled, sparkling, or filtered "house" (tap). Their house bread was a naan bread with hummus! Yum!! Although it was a fish house, half of us chose pork chops. Wow! Large double cut and moist! Then they even brought complimentary dessert for the bday celebrants. Great food, excellent service, beautiful venue- how can you go wrong? Beautiful night! Thank you!!!

Yelp
We had a good experience using trusted YES reviewers to guide our decision making. We came an hour before our reservation and got lucky with two end seats at the bar. That was perfect for the two of us and the keiki, with no pushback about an almost 4yo at the bar.;) We went off menu for some whiskey cocktails and the bar staff delivered on point with expected Four Seasons pricing. By sticking with the read advice and past experience, we ordered pupu's at the bar and 1/2 a charbroiled lobster and oysters at the table along with broccolini. I knew not to go with oysters on the half shell because I trust my Yelp peeps plus the wife will only eat Rockefeller style or the like. All three dishes at the table as our mains, were properly seasoned, cooked and quite good. I'd say the bar staff, Scott and his partner, know their trade and perform as good as anywhere! They were a pleasure to chat with and without the keiki, we would have remained at the bar. Overall, this was a good dining experience with expected pricing and service. I do believe you have to watch what you're ordering and go with trusted advice!

Yelp
Located at the Four Seasons in Koolina. Validated valeted parking. The staff is top notch. The food was delicious(just check out the pics). Mixed drinks were good and the beer was cols. Can't ask for more. Give yourself a treat and check them out. Alooooooha and happy eating.

Yelp
Dinner... My son treated our family for my birthday celebration. We were seated outside. The weather was perfect with beautiful blue skies. Our meal? I felt like my son ordered a lot of things from the menu - from 2 different types of fish (steamed and fried), tomahawk steak, heirloom tomato salad, broccolini, mushrooms and more. For dessert, I got a chocolate cake for my birthday and we ordered malasadas. My favorite dish was the tomahawk - the flavors were epic! Actually, all the dishes served to us were really amazingly satisfying. In fact, I think I overate, but it was worth it. It was such a wonderful meal for the 4 of us who were able to enjoy.

Yelp
The view from this restaurant is amazing! You get the whole view of the ocean and beachfront. Service was amazing and our waiter and fish sommelier had great recommendations and were very knowledgeable. Everything we ordered was good and tasted really fresh! Kids loved the octopus so much we had to get 2 orders. The black cod was delicious and full of flavor. The lobster pot pie was so good and fresh, their sauce was just so divine. Pork belly was also good and not just full of fat, although a little salty. Duck fat fries was crispy. Oysters were also really good, we ended up ordering more. Their whole opakapaka was moist and flavorful and their beans were also good. Whatever you order, you almost can't go wrong

Yelp
Had dinner here the second night we were in Ko Olina. The service and food were incredible. This restaurant went over and above to take care of my gf hubby. We ordered the smoked marlin and Maui onion dip for the table, the kabota pork chop for the son and the half of fish with a Mediterranean flavor profile for hubs and I to share. The staff made sure our water glasses were never empty, hubby had gf bread for dipping /eating and explained how to eat and debone the fish. Warning- the prices are rather high ( it's Hawaii after all) but you really do get what you pay for here. If you are looking for a fantastic dinner, great flavors, good quality - visit this amazingly beautiful place !!

Yelp
Mina Seafood looked perfect on paper and in pictures, but the reality was quite different. The food was mediocre at best, and the service was subpar. This so-called high-end restaurant charges high-end prices but offers low quality meals and low-end service. The only good thing about this restaurant was the beautiful scenery, which looked like something straight out of a movie, and the attentive valet service provided by the Four Seasons. Ironically, the valet staff was more attentive than our server, who was disinterested and inattentive. After our experience at Mina, my husband swore he would no longer feel obligated to pay the standard 18% gratuity. If the service is subpar, it should be reflected in the gratuity.

Yelp
Prime location with an amazing ocean view. Our server, Damon, provided excellent service. Our party of 4 opted for the "Flavors of the Fish House" which is their prefixe menu. This included the Ono Tataki which was seared Ono, Hamachi Crudo which was a sashimi, Spanish Octopus, and Shishitos. For our entrees we selected 2 Chili Miso Black Cod, a Filet Mignon, and I supplemented my entree to the Lobster Pot Pie for an extra $85 in addition to the $110 for the prix fixe menu. We ordered broccolini and garlic fried rice for our sides. Everything we ate was tasty and there was nothing on the prix fixe menu that we didn't like. Therefore, I would say it is worth its value and we all got to try a little of everything. The Lobster Pot Pie was truly amazing. The creamy sauce complemented the lobster well and the pie crust was flakey. The presentation was notable as well. It comes out as you would expect a pot pie to, but the server reconstructs the lobster on top of the flakey pie crust on a plate and pours the sauce over it. I was a huge fan of this dish. The Spanish Octopus was delicious as well. Cooked perfectly so the octopus wasn't chewy and the flavor was good. Would strongly recommend these two dishes. The only downside was that they didn't have fresh or pickled wasabi, only wasabi paste.

Yelp
Eating at the Mina's Fish house - expect open air beach front seating, prompt friendly service and great fish. We were greeted by our fish sommelier that told us all about the texture and flavor profile of the different types of fish. Based on his recommendation we opt for the local Kampachi, steamed with black beans and scallions. The fish is fresh, super moist and flavorful. For a half fish that can serve 2 people and cane with green (string) beans - that was perfecto! The other dishes we ordered were the pork belly that was in the dryer side. The fish definitely is the star of the show! If you like fresh fish that is the dish to get!

Yelp
Parking: valet at four seasons, Mina's will validate. We requested outdoor seating, and the benches with pillows were very comfortable. You get a great view of the ocean. Bathrooms are inside, all the way in the back to the left. Very clean. Apps: 1) Pork belly: flavor was good, but we had a few hard bits. It is not like your soft, melt in your mouth pork belly that you would get in a bao bun. I would probably skip this. 2) Smoked Marlin dip with Taro chips. I was worried about how much smoke flavor would be present, and was pleasantly surprised. This was a favorite of the table. 3) Petite Char Broiled. We got this plain with clarified butter. If you have someone with stomach sensitivities, Mina's can accommodate. Typically this comes with their miso butter, garlic and yuzu koshō. Do look at your shrimp before you eat it to make sure it was deveined. We had some that were not. No one likes poop. Mains: 1) Chili Miso Glazed Black Cod. Adored by the person who ordered it. According to her, the fish was perfectly cooked, flakey and moist. 10/10 would order it again. 2) 14oz NY strip. BOH thank you. Steak was cooked to temp as ordered and her sensitivities were taken care of. We appreciate it! 3) Surf and turf: 8oz tenderloin with crab. Perfection on a plate, 10/10 would get again for special occasions like this evening. Sides: Lobster mashed potato. This shareable side is smooth, flavorful, and decadent. Desserts: 1) Malasadas with caramel sauce and strawberry guava gel. Fried fresh to order, these tiny pillows of joy arrive piping hot to your table beautifully plated. Dont skip. Order them. 2) Dark Chocolate Mousse with Kona coffee ice cream, salted caramel, and cocoa streusel. Wow. Have this with a cup of coffee, it is amazing. If you like dark chocolate, you will love this dessert. Get a little bite of the mousse with the streusel, whipped cream and ice cream. Heaven.

Yelp
Awesome high end restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was a perfect end to a great vacation. The grandsons had their drinks in a Spam can, which they thought was incredible. Service was excellent. We ate outside and enjoyed the ocean in the background. The seafood tower was yummy, with a lot of choices for all. I had the deconstructed lobster pot pie. WOW! Everyone was wishing they had ordered what I got.

Rebecca T.

Yelp
So disappointed. We spent over $400 on a meal in exchange for disappointment. You'd think it's Four Seasons and they would really take care of you. I'd rather take my $400 elsewhere or even on a plane ticket to fly to another Four seasons restaurant... First of all, everything was going great up till the entrees. Our server was friendly and attentive. The whiskey and the cucumber mocktail tasted very good. We loved the appetizers too including the octopus, smoked salmon dip and even the complimentary hummus. I think if we had just come here for their apps and drinks, it might have been a 4 star experience. However, unfortunately, we ordered their entrees. My biggest disappointment was the $115 lobster pot pie. After reading reviews of how good it tasted, I decided to take the plunge. For $115 I expected a perfect dish. Sadly it's far from perfect. The lobster was so rubbery that it's almost inedible. I understand it's a pot pie and the chef had to cook everything together. If it's not feasible to make a pot pie without making the lobster rubbery, then come up with another dish so the $115 can be justified. I've had home cooked lobsters tasting better than that. The sauce itself was delicious, but it wasn't something that a home cook couldn't make either. So I actually told our server that I didn't enjoy the lobster. He just said "I'm sorry. I'll let the kitchen know." That's it. Didn't even offer to recook it or a partial comp on the check! It was a bit unbelievable to me. Onto next entree. The special fried fish and mashed potato $65. The fish was overcooked, again. It's a fish house and they have an extensive menu of fish prepared in various ways. Looks promising, but the delivery isn't there. The fish wasn't flaky or soft at all. The mash was good but it's the easiest thing to make in that dish. Another disappointment. The only entree that was enjoyable was the black cod, which was the safest choice to order because of its high fat content. I don't remember a time when black cod was overcooked and chewy unless you wanna make fish jerky. It's a delicious dish but many places make that well. At that point, I didn't even wanna order dessert because we're already underwhelmed and pretty deep in our bill. It's OK when things don't come out perfect. I get it. But when you charge someone $115 and $65 for a dish, which is the cost of an entire meal in other restaurants, there's certain expectation to be met. I hope the management can make some improvements to keep this restaurant going.

Victoria N.

Yelp
I worked with the catering department to book our Companies holiday event. Everybody I worked with was extremely professional and helpful. We booked the semi private dining hallway. It was a great setting for our holiday party. Food was ono and so were the drinks. The drink served in the spam can was a big hit! I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasion.

Johnelle C.

Yelp
What an experience. Did you know you could get a table down by the beach and feel the sand in your toes while you enjoy some yummy food and drink? First of the spam can drink was really good and strong. It was just about the cutest thing. You can pick what kind of alcohol you want in it. We got the seafood platter and I think that was the best thing we ate. There was a miso butter sauce that you can put in the oysters, shrimp, crab, and lobsters. Oh my goodness I could have honestly just eaten that haha. There was also really good seaweed on the bottom that provided a salty and crunchy break from all the rich seafood. We tried 4 of the fish dishes the mahimahi, ahi, and the special. All were really yummy. Even the desserts we hand the chocolate cake and the mini malasadas with the guava sauce was super unique. Our staff was fabulous and answered our questions well and made us feel welcome. There was a 4 hour parking validation so not to worry. This was a great place to celebrate my moms birthday.

Ellen D.

Yelp
Dinner with a view :) Great place to enjoy pupus & drinks. We came here to celebrate my birthday & I was taken by the view mostly. We went on a nice day, not to hot or too cold. Service was good although it was our first time and didn't get a clear run down of the menu. A lot of the dishes were over priced considering its portion size. The petite seafood platter definitely for 2. Cocktails starting at $20 & up Complimentary Birthday cake was a nice touch. They also served us 2 pieces of naan bread with hummus. Otherwise, we had a great time overall but I think once was enough.

Malia V.

Yelp
Thee best restaurant on the island. The ambiance is beautiful and the hospitality it top tier!

Audrey S.

Yelp
This is my new favorite restaurant on island. If you love fish this place is for you. The ambiance is so calming and relaxing over seeing the lagoon. If you go at a right time you can witness the conch being blown. The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly and our server was great. We got the opah, big eye tuna, chocolate moose, this coconut lime baked cake. Everything was on top par and more. Also valet is free up to four hours. I highly recommend this place.

Jeff M.

Yelp
One of the most beautiful places to have a dinner. My wife had whole fish and I had with tuna with foie gras. The spam fried rice was the best part of the meal.

Kau'i N.

Yelp
We were staying at the Aulani and we ate at Roy's the night before but they didn't have lobster. The next day, at around 11am, I called Mina's to make reservations for that same evening. We arrived about 10-15 before and were seated at our reservation time. The staff were so friendly, attentive and great communication. The food was awesome - there was a miso butter sauce for the seafood platter that was amazing!!! The water they served was so clean and also tasted good (this is super important, lots of places have terrible water!!) We definitely will eat here again,

Phil H.

Yelp
Wonderful service. The complimentary hummus and pita were incredible and set the bar for the rest of the meal. The meal rose above and was delicious! I had the crudo which was well balanced with a contrast of citrus and savory and I liked the added crunch of the tobiko. The endive caesar salad was good as well, however the crab meat was tough and unflavorful. The miso black cod was delicious and the sauces were delicious and perfectly portioned as well as the fresh caught Ono which was moist and perfectly cooked!

Jenny K.

Yelp
Absolutely loved everything about this place! The restaurant and the view were spectacular and the service was really great! We were taken care of so well! We had a variety of appetizers and they were all so good. I had the miso fish as my entree and it was probably one of the best miso fish that I've ever tried! If you're ever in Hawaii, you need to try this place! You won't be disappointed!

leimomi k.

Yelp
ambience: great! simply done, relaxing atmosphere. On a humid night like our dining night outside, it was quickly jackets off and drinks all around! food: -deep fried fish with chickpeas curry sauce - whole chickpeas in sauce ended up soaking in all the great sauce for the fish. Now that we know, highly recommended to ask for extra sauce on the side (with NO chickpeas). Curry Sauce is very light and a delicious complement to the crispy outer coating of the fish. - Steamed fish with blackbean sauce. Too salty for me. The fish was dry. I do commend the chef on removing all the bones prior to cooking. Truly appreciate the tedious task. he'e / Octopus on the Appetizer side : sooooo goood!!!!!!! Lobster/shrimp/poke/oyster tower: The accompanying oyster sauce is SPICY. Cold Jumbo shrimp a little raw but palatable. Poke (meh) if fresh but a bit mushy (poke eaters know why, if it doesn't bother you, know that its really fresh!), cold lobster cooked to perfection. Smoked Ahi dip was a winner for us. I mashed it up more to incorporate the smoked ahi chunks and seasonings with the mayo based. i would return here for the ambience and to try other items on the menu!

Emin A.

Yelp
Service was good and the ambiance is immaculate with the beach view and the live music. Octopus, duck fat fries, and the salads were very well made. However, the Lobster + Potato Purée was an easy 10/10. The Tuna with Foei Gras, and the curry inspired Fish for 2 people were excellent. Especially the pineapple frozen cake dessert was delicious. Highly recommend this for families.

Brent O.

Yelp
Fabulous food a setting just above the lagoon at the Kapolei Four Seasons. They had opakapaka cooked whole (serves 2-4 persons) - perfectly cooked and very tender and meaty. Fantastic. Drinks are creative and fun and nice wines by the glass. We also ordered a field greens salad which had flavorful greens and a nice light vinaigrette dressing.

Vanessa A.

Yelp
We've visited Mina's and enjoyed our experience during those happy hours and dinners. We had a larger party for this visit, which we had in the past and we were seated at a picnic table instead of a table for dinner. The restaurant wasn't busy, so when we asked if we could have a table with chairs that had backs, we were a bit surprised that the request couldn't be accommodated. We started with the pork belly, which was phenomenal and then I had the ono and my husband had the cod fish. I'm not sure if the team was short staffed that night because it seemed like the meal came to a halt after we had our appetizers. The restaurant was starting empty and still we were waiting for our entrees. Once our meals arrived, enjoyed their entrees, with the cod fish and ono being stand outs to us. Hopefully the team has the right amount of staff to avoid an experience like this in the future. If we come back again, we will make sure to request seats with backs to avoid a picnic table experience for dinner.

Charlene S.

Yelp
We walked over to the restaurant from Aulani using the beach path. We arrived a little early for our reservation but we were seated right away. Got a great table with a great view of the ocean on the patio. Damon was our server for the night and he was super funny and chatty with our group. All the staff were friendly which added to the pleasantness of the evening and enhanced the dining experience. There were 4 of us in our party and we elected to do the prix fixe menu at $110 each. Note that if one person elects this then the whole table must get it and Damon mentioned it is available for pairs- not single diners. One of our dishes we selected was the lobster pot pie which is an additional $85 on top of the prix fixe price- but worth every dollar. Would highly recommend this rest 1. Ordered an espresso martini. A little on the stronger side. I originally ordered a Carajillo but they didn't have the liquor needed for that drink. Still good and finished it! 2. Chef treated us to a mini taco. Don't remember what it was but it was super good and a nice treat before we ordered! 3. Started with Ono Tataki - good flavor and nice consistency. 4. Japanese Hamachi Crudo & Pacific Oysters - very light and slightly citrusy. One of my favorite dishes of the night! 5. Spanish Octopus - had a little kick and was super tasty. Octopus had a good consistency and not chewy. Another favorite dish! 6. Shishito peppers - this was one of my favorite dishes! Nice consistency and not too spicy. They were perfectly seasoned! 7. We each got to pick our entrees we shared family style- ordered 2 Miso Black Cods, Filet Mignon, and Lobster Pot Pie. Miso black cod and filet were both good. Cod was perfectly cooked and flaky while the filet was also perfectly prepared at the requested medium rare temperature. However, the dish of the night was the lobster pot pie! It arrived in a copper pot with a nice flaky outer crust. They plate the dish table-side. First the crust is cut off and placed on the plate then they reconstruct every part of the lobster for you on the plate. Lastly, the remaining contents in the pot are placed onto the plate. Hands down the best dish! 8. With the prix fixe you get either the garlic fried rice or broccolini however since there were 4 of us, they gave us both sides. The garlic fried rice was so good! 9. Ended the night with a complimentary chocolate cake since we were there to celebrate my FIL's birthday.

Yelp
Our second time here, and I've rated them up a star! With no reservations on a Sunday night we got sat inside (outside tables were full). Ambiance is still nice inside, especially after sunset. On this visit, we ordered the octopus appetizer, a mahi mahi entree, a butterfish entree, and a spicy lobster shrimp Thai soup. Once again, the octopus appetizer kind of stole the show. It was SO good, a symphony of flavors. It was sweet, salty, savory, with capers and tomato. Ask for a side of house-baked taro chips (or more complimentary naan) to scrape up all the sauce leftover, you don't want to waste a drop! The butterfish tasted like butter, so tender it literally melts on your tongue. The ginger rice was succulent and delicious, as was the bok choy, but I didn't care for the large amount of stringy seaweed at the bottom of the dish. I tasted my husband's mahi... and WOW. I have never had mahi this good before. I'd always gotten mahi on the tougher side, but this mahi was super fresh and flaked beautifully. Our other dinner companion enjoyed her Thai soup, and mentioned it was VERY spicy. Service was fair. We had 4 or 5 people waiting on us, including the assistant general manager. However, I was only having water to drink and I noticed my glass not getting filled as often as I'd hoped. It remained empty for long stretches of time. It also was room temperature water, and I think it would be more refreshing chilled or at least have some ice in it. Price point is still blindingly high, but it's to be expected at a resort such as this, and alongside the beach as well. If we come a third time I'm going to use my experience to just order 2 or 3 of whatever octopus dish they have and call it my dinner haha.

Yelp
Cuisine is amazing and staff is friendly and attentive. Pricey so prepare yourself but worth the price.

Yelp
Mina's Fish House at the Four Seasons in Ko Olina is a must-visit. We indulged in the lobster pot pie, grilled mahi mahi, and the beet salad. The lobster pot pie is a showstopper, limited to just 10 per day. The table-side preparation is a highlight: they lift off the filo top, revealing a whole lobster, which they then reconstruct on your plate. It truly lives up to the hype. The grilled mahi mahi was perfectly cooked, resting on a bed of black ancient rice that contrasted beautifully with the white fish. Every bite was a delight. The beet salad was equally impressive, featuring a mix of red and gold beets with arugula, slices of grapefruit, all served on top of creamy marscapone. The ambiance of Mina's Fish House is serene and elegant, perfectly complementing the exceptional food. If you're staying at the Four Seasons or nearby, this place should be at the top of your list.

Yelp
The View, oh what a view! we live here and still It surprises us each time we see it and eating here is such a treat. The pork chop is always cooked to perfection and so is the lobster

Yelp
Superb service and great location. We had a reservation at 7:30pm and we got there 30 minutes early. Was great getting seated after 10 minutes at a nice table overlooking the lagoon. They started us with some fresh pita bread and hummus and then we ordered the appetizers and entrees. The octopus was cooked just right and the poke very fresh on top of the rice. The wahoo fish I ordered was seared and very tasty.

Yelp
While great ambiance the food was very underwhelming and very high price. Various fish dishes including whole fish had little flavor. Service was unbelievably slow and mistakes made. No manager came over and just poor experience.

Yelp
The service was fantastic. The cocktails were fantastic. The live music was great. The views were spectacular. And the food was fresh and delicious. Absolutely such an amazing experience and highly recommend this spot when you're in the area!

Yelp
Andrew was our server. 10/10. He was excellent. The ambience was classy but casual, romantic tiki torches lit all around - our table was almost directly on the beach. It was breezy but didn't rain. The tables were decently spaced apart so we felt like we had our privacy (except for one loud guest sitting near us.) We changed tables for dessert and sat at the fire pit which was so intimate and cozy. All the food was delicious, especially the hamachi crudo starter! We ordered one each of the dinner specials, both fish. I give the restaurant 4/5 stars because of the portion sizes. When it's $60+ per entrée we feel like both plates should automatically come with rice and a vegetable. When we realized the rice was missing, we ordered a side of garlic rice which was pretty good. My phyllo-crusted fish special came with a small portion of lobster mash potatoes that was so yummy; I wish there was more! The drinks were great and the presentation was fun - in an actual SPAM can. The desserts were beautifully presented as well but not as noteworthy as the previous courses. If we came back we would both order the hamachi crudo again with a side of white rice. Even though the menu doesn't cater to kamaʻāina, we felt very welcome and loved our special night.

Yelp
Food-After eating fish since we landed myself and another on our table ordered chicken and pork. Should have ordered the fish. Double pork came out dry and grainy and the 1/2 chicken was just ok. Everyone else had the black cod, ahi with foie gras, and salmon which they loved. The crudo and octopus appetizers were tasty too. Next time we'll stick to fish. Service was ok. The main dinner courses came out at different times. The waiter was overwhelmed by a table of 15 and didn't check back to see if we received our order. Needless to say the honoree didn't receive her meal until 30 minutes into dinner service and sides didn't come out until most of our dinner was near finish. If it wasn't for our fabulous bust boy I would have given this one star. For a Michelin star chef at the 4 seasons we expected a little more of a fine dining experience. This was not. Ambiance- restaurant over looking the bay is always beautiful especially with the sunset.

Yelp
We had such an AHHHHMAZING dinner our first night here, we came back on our last night in Hawaii for all the deliciousness that Mina's Fish House offers! Service on both nights were good and we had the best table in the house in my opinion, right front and center on the deck overlooking the ocean. I never knew there was such a thing as a Fish Sommelier. This gentlemen introduced himself as one and proceeded to explain all about the different types of fish they offer and the different preparations you can choose from. For this particular evening, he recommended the Whole Chargrilled Red Snapper and let me tell you that it did not disappoint. Other items that were ordered by the table were: King Crab & Endive Caesar Salad (soooo good) Hamachi Crudo Broiled Spanish Octopus Chinese Long Beans Spam Fried Rice Chili Miso Glazed Black Cod (melt in your mouth, so good) NY Strip Steak The Ring of Fire cocktail was my favorite. If you like Mescal, you'll love this drink.

Yelp
The worst dining experience I've had at all of Hawaii over the six times I've visited. We were so excited to try this place with my family who is visiting Hawaii for their first time. As a disclaimer, our complaints were not about our server who was very sweet. We were sat at a table that was meant for lounging and possibly drinks if you held on to them. We were a party of four adults and one baby. I had requested a high chair ahead of time. (1) they sat at us a long table that was slanted which made sharing appetizers very difficult. My brother's drink fell all over my mom's phone because the table was not meant for dining. (2) they did not set my daughter's high chair beforehand. We had to ask for the high chair and move it around a few times ourselves because the only places to put it was either a slope or by tiki fire. (3) our food lacked detail and flavor. (4) When we explained to the manager how we disregarded we felt, he completely gaslighted us. He made us feel unheard and super disrespected. What hurt me the most is that my mom seemed very very upset. She is usually the easy going type. We dined at Monkeypod for lunch and the experience was excellent. Here, she left sad and hurt from being treated like a second class citizen. Do better.

Yelp
This is a MUST if you are in the area. Four of us shared the grand seafood platter - sooooooo delicious! We also ordered the filet mignon, lobster pot pie and lobster mashed potatoes. All were amazing! Our server was Ricky and he absolutely killed it. Service was amazing and the views of the ocean were beautiful too. Don't sleep on this place, it's awesome!

Yelp
The food and service here were incredible! You can't beat that view. The minus one star is just for no more happy hour menu even though it's still listed on their website. We ran over from our hotel to try and make the happy hour time which used to end at 5pm but apparently is no longer a thing as of July 31. Perhaps take that off the website so people don't get confused m? Even though I was sweating through my makeup, I picked a really delicious cocktail that cooled me down quickly- the Puuloa's keeper. It has matcha and pandan yummm. Our waiter Micah, was very friendly and came to check on us continuously. He even told us Michael Mina dropped by a day early recently to taste the food on the down low. We ordered: Lomi Lomi octopus- delicious, octopus texture was a little chewier but very well balanced with micro greens and other veggies Hawaiian butterfish puolo- this was the star dish! Apparently this dish resembles Hawaiian food and flavors the most of all the other dishes and it comes with a show. They will assemble the dish table side. The butter fish was melt in your mouth delicious and paired perfectly with the soup and veggies *chef's kiss* Wild mushrooms- honestly a little on the buttery side for us but we dipped it in the butterfish broth and it was perfect. The miso sauce is really good! You'll have a perfect view of the sunset and easy access to the lagoon to swim. There was live music at 6pm and they also gave us complimentary hummus/ bread and a wedding anniversary chocolate dessert.

Yelp
Gorgeous setting (sunset on patio) - celebrated our 40th anniversary. Superb service and fabulous food. One of the best meals ever. Red snapper, king crab endive salad, spam fried rice along with a fantastic Hawaiian take on baked Alaska for dessert. Such and end to a splendid evening.

Yelp
Went on Wednesday, 2/28 for a celebration. Arrived early before sunset, took beautiful pictures of my children near the Koi ponds. Not my first time here since I do have family members who no longer live on this island who stays at the 4 Seasons Resort. The waiter was very pleasant, didn't catch his name but was the Filipino guy in his 30s. We (as in my dad questioning and always making jokes) kept making any kine to him but he was awesome! Everything was delicious.. My son's ahi looked epic, I couldn't even take a pic cause was almost gone. Wish I got my youngest her shaved ice but we were so full already. There were many staff, not including the server who took care of us. The live music was a plus as well. Parking can be validated. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for quality, but able to dress casual.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Fantastic ambience and service. The food is so so. Solid- Tuna tartare - interesting to service it on white bread toast. Good flavors with pine nuts and Asian flavors Shishito pepper - solid. Not too spicy. Great balance of shishito and regular peppers. SKIP: Steamed butterfish - the rice is overcooked. The seaweed' taste is too strong. Even though it was recommended by the waiter, we didn't like the dish. We ordered two cocktails and tasted two white wines by the glass - new Zealand Sauvignon and a vermintino.
