This store has been an incredible staple in my spiritual and gift giving journey for some time! The owner, Amanda, has the best curation and selection of jewelry, candles, scarves, perfume oils, crystals, Art, greeting cards, socks, tarot decks, buttons, stickers...so many amazing items to choose from!! This is definitely one of the best places to shop! It's located on a beautiful corner off Magnolia in Burbank! The owner really supports small businesses and I am beyond humble that she supports mine! A dear friend of mine visited the store today and took these beautiful photos of my perfume oils on her phone! I am so thankful for the owner Amanda and all the goodness her store has brought to my life! Definitely shop here and spend abundantly!! Lol! You'll make someone's day really special, I promise!

Great shop for unique finds by local artists and sustainably-minded gifts! The ladies in the shop are very friendly and helpful. I was so happy a neighbor recommended the shop to me.

The cutest place for small gifts, cute cards, books and even custom jewelry and more! If you haven't stopped by to check it out, you should!!! It's hard not to spend money when you go there, their stuff is just so awesome! All the ladies who work there are super awesome and kind too!

I love this store. It carries a bunch of different kinds of items: pottery, bags, stickers, jewelry, art, books, anything that the owners believe in or find cute. I was looking for a gift for my sister-in-law, but didn't find anything she would really appreciate. I did get some stickers from here and I could have bought the whole store, but I wasn't shopping for me. Haha! I have found really cute gifts here in the past for other friends. This is one of the stores that I need to walk into with a budget.

So glad a friend told us about this place. There was the best store ever in Sherman Oaks called Handmade, and like usual, lazy greedy landlords forced them out. Friend said the old manager has a store in Burbank, and her son works there! So cool, got some Christmas gift, always unique! That is why I used to go to Handmade for all gifts I buy because no one will have the same thing! Great selection of jewelry, paintings, prints, handmade items, art, etc.

An Amazing visit today taking my lovely Sister and I to the local art shope! One of many but this one is special in my personal opinion! The lovely ladies who work the counter are so friendly and the service is always top notch! Today we decided to splurge! I saved up for this day too to treat my sister to matching cozies for us (Cat Tarot not included but was from Catnip Coalition nearby) . All of the items we got today were very inclusive, welcoming, and also the man, the myth, the legend as a prayer candle . There is always something cool unique and crazy to find here! Last time I had found an old hotel Keychain tag of the Cecil Hotel! What a RARE score for me! Thank you for the amazing vibes and selection of amazing goods as always (like the fidget rings please I am OBSESSED) Value wise Id say that this is SO MUCH MORE WORTH IT THAN SPENCERS or any big branded gift/ novelty shop. This one has character, diversity, inclusion, and vibes! We love that !

I swear this stretch of Magnolia has the best and quirkiest boutiques and shops. We were strolling down Magnolia on a blazing summer day and decided to pop in here for some cool air and to peruse and boy what a treat. This is the type of place you can not only shop for yourself but also hit just about everyone on your gift list. Will definitely be back.

What an absolutely adorable, neighborhood store. Yes, it's another store that sells a bunch of cute, unnecessary stuff you don't really NEED, just want. This is the place to shop if you're looking for unique gifts for someone else or yourself, in my case. They sell jewelry, socks, stickers, patches, t-shirts, mobiles, etc. I purchased a few miniature glass figurines that I had to buy for no apparent reason. A couple chickens and a bird. $3.95 each. Service was great. Gal at the counter was friendly and didn't judge me for what I just had to have.

MindfulNest is one of those really fun and unique curiosity shops. What they have is a whole lot of everything. It's one of those shops that you really never know what you're gonna find. But, for sure, what you do find will be fun and/or interesting. The items that they have range across the spectrum. They have cards, they have stickers, they have jewelry, they have curiosity items, they have some occult items, they have a little bit of everything. It's one of those shops you can go into and find that really unique gift or buy that item that you never knew that you wanted. Overall, fun shop!

Drove here specifically to support a local biz in the City of Burbank, CA., I looked this store up because it wasn't far from 'The Crystal Shrine,' where I shopped quite a bit about a half year ago stocking up on crystals. Free street parking. I got some matches for souvenirs because of the box designs and pins to go....next time I'll spend more time browsing.

Such a cute artsy trinket and decor shop! I bought a darling Thank You card as well as a lip balm. Could have bought so many fun things but I was disciplined...this time. It's a great shop for unique gifts. Reasonably priced as well. Will definitely return whenever I'm looking for funsies.

I see this store every time but never stopped in. Finally had a reason to be on this side of Burbank and I was happily delighted They have such a wide range of items which also range in decent and affordable price ranges too. Definitely a place to go to find that spontaneous gift or even to get them to help you pick out a couple somethings. I'm so happy to actually have gone in and experience this store. It's definitely worth it!

Cute shop in Magnolia Park! Lots of different, unique gifts. I've come a couple times and they often have new items. Our most recent visit, we got an A to Z national park picture book as a baby shower gift along with a sweet little bib. Will come back!

I happened along this store while walking along magnolia park area of Burbank. The window displays drew me in and I loved the eclectic mix of items and gifts available in the shop. Prices are a mix from low to expensive it just depends on what you're looking to purchase. Definitely a great place to browse close to the holidays for gifts. There's lots of free street parking nearby either out front or residential.

I never fail to find just the right gift at this wonderful place! Amanda is wonderful and stocks both the unusual and the beautiful! Check it out, you can't go wrong.

A colorful shop with a colorful variety. Mindfulnest is more than just a play on words offering spiritual and speciality items of all varieties including palo santo, incenses, crystals, vintage tins, matchbooks, coasters and so on. They have great line of unique greeting cards for all occasions and a very spacious layout with plenty of room to navigate around every display, shelf and stand. A tad on the price side however these rare finds make up for the splurge you might find yourself in. A fun place to find a gift and/or gifts. Hands down some of the best customer service around. There is parking on the side of the building but spots fill up fast.

I love one of a kind stores and we need more around. I discovered MindfulNest via Yelp and also saw it many times while driving on Magnolia. I checked it out recently because I was shopping for gifts for my mom in law and I like to get her more like one of a kind items. The store is fairy tale cute, nicely decorated and has a variety of merchandise created by locals artist and I like that! The prices are on the higher side even on items that are on sale. The vibe is nice and the variety of products is pretty good - jewelry, home decor, a few books, socks, a bit of art. Also, the decor is very cute! I was disappointed by customer service. I picked a few items and wanted to buy them, there was no one at the counter, I was confused where to stand. The lady working was messing with boxes. Between her not being there and my confusing I wasted time while there were no other customers in line. She seemed distracted, I usually get better service in this kind of stores, she had no humor when we tried to exchange jokes and chit chat. I had to ask for separate boxes for the items I got and to exchange the bag for one with handlers, easy to carry that they had a bunch on the counter and weren't offered to me. Cute store, but the attitude toward the customer was kinda cold. Based on the Yelp reviews, I expected better!

This a great shop with lots of fun gift ideas. It's nice just to look around too. They are very conscientious about social distancing and always friendly and helpful.

Went out on the night for Food Truck Friday's in Burbank. I have never heard of this so it was nice to walk around and see what Burbank has to offer. Typically during the day, I pass these places but have no clue what types of businesses they are. What a difference nighttime makes! All the stores are lit up and Magnolia comes to life. A ton of cute boutiques, eateries and thrift stores! Even a costume store! I am definitely going to keep this street in mind when I just want to take my time and stroll around. Speaking of "mind", I entered the cutest boutique, MindfulNest, and bought a few candles that are going to become some of my favorite. Very friendly owner and staff!

After revisiting this store, I must update my review. They have a great selection of items, especially unique gifts. A lot of handmade and tongue-in-cheek humorous goods. Worthwhile checking them out!!

Absolutely full of so many finds! Earrings and stickers and local artisan goodies, oh my! And the ladies working there are so kind! You will walk away with so many treasures!

I've been going to this store for years now, and it's my go-to for unique and artistic gifts, although the best part is that I can always find some cool new jewelry for myself as well. There's a good variety of price points, and the quality is great because the owner knows the artists/artisans and stands behind everything. Oh and did I mention that they have the best greeting cards that you won't see anywhere else? Oh and also I buy all my little giftie stocking stuffers here as well. Plus everyone is always so cool and nice. I love it. A local independent store that I'm proud to support.

I'm so happy that this store is still around in these trying times when so many stores are closing. I love this place. The owner is just the best, so helpful and personable. And she continues to stock beautiful jewelry and gifts that you can't find in other stores. I appreciate the variety of price points, so I can get a nice unique gift for $35 or something really special (usually for myself lol) when I want to spend more. Honestly, it's not always easy to find cool stuff in the Valley, let alone Burbank, and so that's why this place has always been one of my favorites.

Seriously the cutest, most fun spot for unique gifts and other little treasures. I've gotten the coolest stickers, socks, bags, ext. from here. They have such an awesome array of items that are handmade as well. Highly recommend if you need a gift for anyone. I love going into MindfulNest everytime I walk by just to see what new items they have.

Great gift store that's always on my radar around the holidays. The staff and (presumably) owners who work at the shop are all really friendly and helpful, and they even helped me size my ring finger for my wedding ring (even though we didn't purchase anything during that visit). This store is so addicting! I've lived in Burbank for about 5 years and literally live under 1/2 mile from here but since I never walked Magnolia Blvd, I never paid attention. Since Covid started, I've been walking down different streets exploring my neighborhood and came upon this place. I peaked through the windows and it looked like there were a bunch of goodies for me to buy My addiction started with their curbside contactless pick up, and then now that the stores open I've gone a few times more. This is a small business, and like most small businesses you should expect to pay a little more than you would at Target, were you will walk into several people wearing the same thing you have lol. They offer unique gifts for everyone. So many clever things. Kitchen towels are only for the funny people, the sage is nicely wrapped, love the flasks. What made me love them more is their love for equality and blm. They will definitely get my money instead of a few places. They have a relaxed vibe which keeps me in a good mood there. Go check this store out for yourself

Love this little treasure! You can get all sorts of goodies here from beautiful handmade gift cards and artwork by local artists to jewelry and kitchen magnets! The owner is very nice and the woman who helped me today (Sage)? was super sweet. Great find!!!

Great little local boutique. I love coming in for the greeting cards, handmade items, and jewelry selection which is pretty expansive. They even let me curbside pickup during the height of Covid when we couldn't go into stores at all. Love them!

This store will never (ever, ever) fail you. It's got an adorable eclectic collection of all sorts of fun. They have all the things you always want to find someone to send them a unique or fun gift , but can never find. These guys actually have all the fun things! Also, super cute jewelry for all occasions. The store is bright, airy, super adorable and the team running it is next level awesome. Would also highly recommend for stocking stuffers as well - they saved our butts last year with last minute shopping.

Such an awesome little shop! So much to look at, you could easily spend an hour in here! The owner is such a nice person and the vibe is so peaceful! She will even gift wrap your purchase free of charge. There is also an essential oils shop attached. I didn't really go in to explore because when a woman came out and started helping me, she abruptly just walked away from me when I wasn't interested in the couple of fragrances she showed me. I continued to smell the rest on my own, but at that point wasn't even interested in seeing what else they had. How she acted was very rude. This has no reflection on the Mindfulnest or the owner who is awesome!

Cute, cute, cute! We wandered in on the way back to the car and I ended up finding gifts for my sister. A cute drain stopper with a cow handle and a cute coffee mug. Okay, so maybe I'm not doing them justice with its description but it's something I've never seen before that I had to take home. It's a nice place to find that "something different".

I visited this store during a community event featuring stores and food trucks on Magnolia. I loved this store! It had a lot of fun, quirky, witty products like candles, bags, and jewelry with funny quotes and snarky social commentary on them. I loved looking around!

What a treasure this place is. Apparently open for 10 years, and I'd never known! Hailey helped me out by reserving an item i called about. Her service was beyond exceptional, and she made sure the present was presentable. They've got really amazing crafts and pretty much everything has a unique, authentic touch. Fairly priced as well. Cant wait to return for more gifting!

Absolutely adore this shop! Cool as S#it items, so much so I bought 2 friends gift cert's for their birthdays here. It's not 'Cheap' so please don't go in thinking 'Oh, I'll find some cute, cheap tzotchkes here' .... maybe, but doubtful .....the majority if not all the items are ART. Totally worth the money ;)

I am obsessed with all things handmade and I've not been to a better store in Burbank! There isn't anything in this store that isn't well made and absolutely beautiful.

After my previous review stating the unsatisfactory and less-than-neighborly customer service at the Burbank location of MindfulNest, I received a message on here from the owner/manager apologizing for the lack of customer service, the prices which I complained about being too high for the local demographic, and for the fact that I didn't even know about the personalized perfume mixing station because the employees were too busy gossiping amongst themselves to acknowledge me. She was very kind and didn't blame me and offered a free customized perfume service. I called the other day to make the appointment (as she advised). They were able to get me in that same day. When I arrived, everyone was very kind and welcoming me on a first name basis. I know they were laying it on thick because of this Yelp situation and I recognized some of the overly-sweet behavior but either way it was nice to finally be treated with some respect. The actual perfume mixing station was tons of fun. I came prepared with what base scent I was searching and first got to smell bottles of different "notes" to see which I liked/disliked. Scents vary in category such as "Clean" (linen, cucumber), "Floral", and even "Dirt" which smelled like a wet forest mushroom after a heavy rain and was actually quite lovely! We then proceeded to mix the notes and add drops as pleased my nose. When I finally had my desired mix, the "ingredient" list is recorded with the name of the person you are gifting it to (or yourself) which they keep on file in case you want to come back and purchase more of the same scent. The next step involves naming your perfume (another part of the fun customization process) to which they make a printed label and put it on the bottle. The entire process is like 7th grade science glass but WAY more fun (and better smelling). I made the small roll-on bottle but various perfume bottle sizes are available. Overall, the process was enjoyable and MindfulNest displayed solid judgment to try to satisfy me and make up for their unsatisfactory service. I still wouldn't shop here because the damage has been done, I still think the prices are much too high, and I know they they were overly kind to try to get a 4 or 5 star review update; but they get ample credit for their updated service. Hopefully they take this as a lesson and treat their next customers better so this doesn't have to happen again.

I came here today excited and looking forward to this place after reading the Yelp reviews, but left disappointed. They do have nice items here, all hand made, but nothing that I felt really compelled to purchase. There were several items actually that I wanted to buy, but I immediately put them down after I found our their prices. I knew I would get 15% off by mentioning Yelp, but even then the prices were too high for me. I understand that these items are one-of-a-kind and handmade, but they were just not worth the prices to me. I did enjoy walking around the shop looking at the items however, and I do agree that this place is definitely worth a look. But whether you walk away with a purchase or not, that's really up to you. I'm a currently unemployed cheapo, so this place wasn't for me.

Totally awesome shop! I've been driving by here for months saying I need to stop in and check this place out. Finally, on Tuesday, while Mary-Alex A. and I were driving around after work, we flipped a U-Turn and stopped. They have a fantastic selection of local art, switch-plate covers, doorbells, jewelery, bath and body products and a little bit of clothing too. The setup is great. Very shop-able, very accessible. They have lots of Dragonfly jewelery and home decor, which is one of my favorite things. The owner was very nice and helpful. When I asked about a specific scent amongst the bath and body products, I discovered that the creator of the line was there, and she introduced me. Well, I'm a sucker for custom blended scents and body products, so into the back room I went. I ended up with a Patchouli Sandalwood massage/body oil. It is fantastic! Very moisturizing and the perfume oil is perfect. Not too heavy, but enough so you know its there, and it lasts all day. Delicious! The owner told us while we were checking out (and getting our 15% Yelper discount!) that she does not import anything, everything comes from the community or from around the country. She has truly found some beautiful and unique pieces for this wonderful little shop. I will definitely be back soon!

Yelp guided me here, as I was looking for an extra-special anniversary gift. I was not disappointed... This is a lovely shop, with lots of unique and beautiful gifts, including several that are locally crafted. Amanda (?) helped me, spending lots of time suggesting items to meet my rather picky criteria. Plus, it smells wonderful inside. Really good vibe. Highly recommended!

As an artist I create objects that speak to the buyer, make them smile, excited to have something that is a one of a kind piece, sometimes that may remind them of a place or person that they loved or feeling within themselves. For an artist its about sharing our creativity with those who do not possess artistic talent, it's not about the price tag it's about making a living at what we love to do every day. The money I earn from my art buys me supplies and time to keep creating new pieces. I'm disheartened when I read that people think it's a rip off but art supplies are very expensive and my time is valuable; imagine going to work and not being paid what you're worth. Look all around and see the clothing, jewelry, paintings, sculptures, etc. can you imagine sitting in an office with bare white walls? Those who buy our work, buy thousands of hours of trials and errors, failures and successes. See how expressive and unique we are, open your eyes and see all the beauty around you and see the artistry we share in our world.

Mindful Nest on the Magnolia; east of Hollywood Way is the mother load of this kind of gift. Located in the new, emerging Boutique Shop & Restaurant strip on W. Magnolia, Mindful Nest has ZERO cheap chachquee 'consumer' junk, made by automatons in Asia and chooses, instead, to support an increasing roster of local artists, who make beautiful, affordable, handmade and unique fashionable but not overly modish crafty gifts. These one-of-a-kind pieces include earrings (made from scrabble tiles), clocks (made from recycled 45-rpm vinyl records - I gotta an Eric Clapton for my friend), as well as votive candles and candelabras, distinct greeting cards, beautiful wrought-iron sculptures, (gorgeous) hand-bound journals, as well as a line of natural body and bath products, scented candles, diffusers and room sprays made by IN SHOP mix-ologist Jennifer (I think that was her name). It is really quite a place. The moment you walk in you know that you are not in Kansas any more and as your eyes float over the well laid out collections and wares, you are already doing the math (i.e. oh so and so would LOVE that), As well, and this is something that they should push more, Amanda, their shopkeep extrordinare, will fashion a beautiful artsy, fringe and ribbon ladened gift bag to package your unique yet tasteful, personal and thoughtful gifts. DEWD SIDE BAR: Guys...really, ay can;t go wrong in this joint. Seriously. Wanna shed the Neanderthal monicker your chic has placed on you? Do your shopping for her at Mindful Nest. Nothing says, "I feel your sensitive side" like a tube of Jennifer Klean lotion (perfect for the rubbing of feet) and a pair of colorful and comfy, thick & warm after foot rub socks with a matching scent candle topper. Seriously! The giddy "Oh My God" screams I got at Christmas for this EXACT package...let's just say I;m going back again and again. Mindful Nest is the antithesis of the Malls and Targets and whatever other cheap, shoddy junk stores filled with mass-produced items.

When I walk into Mindful Nest my eye's grow wide and succulant scents fill my nose and lightens my mind! I never know where to start and that is just the beginning of the fun to be had... Every table, wall, nook and cranny beholds specifically hand picked items that you can see and feel were made with thought, love and so much creativity. And once you make your way towards the back you are in for a real treat! Lotions, soaps, bath scrubs galore! Oh My! And the best thing about their body products? They are made right there!!! And they will leave you smelling delicious throughout the day. (one of my favorites... Satsuma! Sounds nice and juicy doesn't it?) Everyone who works there is so helpful- it's like having your own personnel shopper. They greet you with a smile- and you leave with a smile. The prices are also just right! Not too much but not to cheap. Because the items are ART- made by hand by individuals like you and me, you probably won't find many 'deals' here... but I actually prefer that. It's nice to know that someone put time and energy into what I am gifting or even purchasing for myself as opposed to gifting something that anyone on the block will carry. If you want a deal- then go to the Made in China section... wait! They don't have a Made in China section! Whoooo whooooo!!! MIndful Nest is truly a place to find the perfect gift for just about anybody. And there is nothing like a business that supports art and it's local community. I will High 5 to that!!! All day long....

I cant explain how much i love this store.. every piece of jewelry ive gotten here has not only made me feel great but i get sooo many compliments. The range is great and as a guy its hard finding jewelry- at least for me it is. I am very particular in what i wear but when i see something I love, I grab it. The store is definitely well curated. They have so much other goods from local artisans too. I highly recommend this place who is looking for something unique.
