Exceptional facility. I liked how you have to leave your phone behind, so no one is taking photos or videos while you’re enjoying the facilites. The views from the main outdoor pool are breathtaking. However I skipped the top section and focused on the adults only area downstairs. Smart move. Was more relaxing and quiet. Be prepared if you use the sauna to go in naked. Swiss 🇨🇭 rules 🤓 I really enjoyed the steam room. If you go, I suggest taking a couple of towels and also, shampoo, body wash and whatever else you need after a day at the spa. The end of trip facilities are fantastic.

Excellent modern installation, with awesome architecture and incredible view. Offering several covered baths, an external pool. Steambath, sauna, relaxing rooms and special treatments complete the offer.

Outstanding facility of a little pricey! Lots of options from pools to jacuzzis inside & out! When the weather’s clear enjoy the views!!

A must-visit if you are in the area! Great views and a nice facility. I had booked appointments that got mixed up (partially my fault and partially theirs), they handled it nicely but I was disappointed. But still relaxed! And of course the location is unparalleled. Heads up, I was expecting shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers, and then some sort of products in the locker room, like lotion, hair spray…. There was nothing except for hair dryers. So bring your own!

A nice thermal bath located at the iconic Rigi mountain in central Switzerland. Nice ponoramic views from the outdoors pool, cozy warm water. There is also a SPA section with sauna and steam bath and massages (for extra cost). The site is easy accessable by cable car from Vitznau village.

A must visit place! Go at 4pm for a discounted rate. So relaxing and an experience of a lifetime. Warm waters with built in hot tub bubble areas. Swim outside too in the cool Alp air and swim to the edge for a beautiful view!!! We went twice during our 2 week stay. Ride the funicular (cable car) up in about 10 minutes you will be there. Gift shops and ice cream and other shops available during business hours.

This is my second twice visiting this spa. Great swimming pools . A tip if they could put water on the main pool area as the lady wouldn't let me go down with my child.

You have to read the bad reviews of this place. They're hilarious. Here was great. The prices are what you expect for being up a mountain in Switzerland. Great friendly staff , a clean environment and well-behaved clientele. The local beer is great.

Yelp
If you're gonna spa like it's your job - the Swiss style and method is the only way to do it. We crushed 7 hours here after weather on the mountain prevented us from our previously chosen activities of tobogganing & hiking mountain side trails were rained out. Under a layer of drizzling rain and fog however, you still very much can enjoy the Mineralbad indoor and outdoor pools for a day. We got lucky and were able to also book spa services since there were open appointments. All facilities are co-ed, a bistro and bar are on site, so you really can spend an entire day. They will rent you robes, towels, sandals, and lockers - do nothing but show up. The view is exceptionally magical, the facility is a maze of wellness activities, the thermal mineral waters are restorative and healing. Absolute "don't miss" experience.

Yelp
Wish the water was a tad hotter. Everything else was great! I mean, the breathtaking view? check. Various water spa areas in the pool? check. Steam sauce with a view? check Naked dry sauce? Umm, check. Fresh tea? Check. Changing rooms to showers to pool is a great two way street. There are doors on two sides of the changing room, so you can enter from one side and exit to the showers and lockers. After the showers is the pool. Great set up for families and couples, as well as for individuals. The pool is gorgeous and wonderful, both inside and outside. The waterfall provides great massage, but don't overdo it. Bring sunglasses to hang out at the outdoor pool, as the view is gorgeous, but also very sunny! It isn't cheap, and the price only includes admission. Bring with you: towels toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion) robes sunglasses They do have hair dryers! Thank you!! After a go-go! tight schedule for 3 days straight, we really needed this relaxing time, especially after a wonderful hike up the Rigi. Breathtaking views and total relaxation!

Yelp
This place is beautiful and tranquil. Yes, some of the mountain views are blocked but the spa itself is still very wonderful. This is a once in a lifetime experience for most people. My husband and I visited the spa as part of our honeymoon in Europe. Absolutely no regrets. The indoor and outdoor pools both have a handful of different types of water and seating features (smooth & calm, energizing & vibrating). There is lots of comfortable, dry seating on both levels. The steam room is also relaxing. There are so many features; regretfully, we did not have time to try them all. You can rent towels and comfortable swim suits. There are showers and medium sized lockers. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Spa website is: http://www.mineralbad-rigikaltbad.ch/galerie.asp

Yelp
Compared to the sister property in Zurich (Huerlimann Spa), this newly-renovated (3 years ago) hotel and spa property were surprisingly poor value. The only upside was the hotel restaurant. For a single night with spa access both days, expect to pay 450 CHF. Compare this to around 260 CHF for the same at the far more luxurious spa in Vals (both include breakfast). At Rigi Kaltbad, however, you also get a plastic cone full of Prosecco and a 25 minute massage included in their price. Mario Botta is evidently an internationally-reknown designer but I couldn't help but notice how badly he missed the mark on simple design elements. For instance, there is only one sliver of space (comfortably room for two people) in the entire spa from which the wondrous view of the mountains to Vierwaldstatersee is even possible. The whole rest of the spa is designed such that there is no mountain view! All of the window areas face directly into the back of a shoddy apartment building or into granite construction elements. Indeed, all of the lounge chairs on the sun-deck face into these same granite half-walls as their only vista. Granite is used extensively for the outdoor pool but an unfortunate smoosh-finished blue paint on plaster dominates the interior decor. The cone-shaped seating in the steam-room is impossibly uncomfortable and ensures a maximum waste of space, limiting the seating capacity. There is no snack bar / refreshment area (that's right, make sure you're not expecting a light spa lunch at any point and bring some apples instead!) I could write extensively about how the 25 minute massage in question made me feel deeply uncomfortable, but I'm sure this is variable based on who you get. None the less, my therapist was about my height and the ill-conceived massage tables were too high off of the floor so that he could not help but press his sweaty upper body onto my head as he leaned over to massage my back. Yuck. The original Hotel looks like a replica of the Grand Budapest Hotel. It's picture hangs in the restaurant. It burned down in 1961 tragically killing 4 elderly people and one 22-year old. The current hotel was supposedly renovated but to my eyes still looks like something sad and dated from the 60s built on the ashes of something that must have once been wonderful. Your room will feel like a University dormatory (unfinished, white-washed concrete finishing). The hotel restaurant was the big surprise. The food was spectacular by any standard. Tasty amuse-bouche, fresh bread, inventive compositions and classic recipes were executed with equal quality. The service and decor were spectacular. Overall advice: skip this place for a spa weekend and go to Vals instead.
