A true gem in Fremont, the food is outstanding, the portions are generous. The menu is unique and outside of the box to what you would find at a regular old bar. Jane is such a sweet and lovely person. She always makes us feel welcome and at home, even when we’re with a large group. She is always willing to accommodate for food allergies or sensitivities. Highly recommend checking out Mini Bar for amazing food and a cozy atmosphere!

Amazing atmosphere with great service. Drinks are presented beautifully and taste is 10/10! Food is great as well overall a great place to come in and play some board games, get some drinks and eat. Owner is very sweet and inviting definitely coming back.

Wow, one of the most delicious meals I've had since moving here. Was standing in a crazy long line at Evo waiting to get skis, around this gem on Google Maps and can't wait to come back. I had the Korean Curry Chicken and damn it was so flavorful with a generous portion of chicken, savory curry sauce with stewed veggies and brown rice. Delicious! The staff was super friendly, even after dealing with one of the most obnoxious customers I've ever seen. Loved it!

The chicken Katsu was over cooked, dry and had burnt cooking oil flavors. The side dish of white rice was tough, hard and dry. I wondered why online reviewers rave about the Katsu dish. The Mermaid lemon cocktail was sticky sweet. I wondered where is the lemon flavor? The service was great and I liked the friendly vibe. For 1 dish and 1 cocktail plus tip, expect to spend about $50. The food and cocktail deserve 1 star for presentation only. The taste was disappointing.

Good people, good food and good drinks! It's a fun spot to come watch sports and hang out with friends. They have tons of games here too! Jane is so attentive and kind. We're so glad we have found this spot and can't wait to come here in the summer. They have garage doors that open up to get a great breeze and you're next to the water. Overall such a fun spot, support your local small businesses, especially this one. P.S. the kimchi fried rice and Korean curry are BOMB!

Mini Bar is hands down our favorite business in Seattle. The owners and staff are incredibly thoughtful and kind and make you feel at home. The food is consistently creative and delicious, the drinks are great, and their music playlists are second to none. We love this place and are sure you will too!

This was my first time at Mini Bar to watch the Seahawks game with my partner and 2 friends and right away the manager was so friendly and kind and welcomed us stating that she remembered them from last time. We were treated to a free bottle of soju as an homage from the last time my friends were there. We ordered the kimchi fried rice, korean curry, katsu chicken, bibimbop and the the rolls and all the plates were licked clean!!! We also loved that there were card and board games everywhere that we used during halftime, super sick. At one point the waiter acknowledged he had forgotten to put in one of our orders for us and he gave us another free bottle of soju as an apology. We love an accountability King. All in all it was a fantastic afternoon with my best friends at Mini Bar and suffice it to say they have found themselves their new regulars!

This place is such a hidden gem!!! Every single bite of food absolutely HIT. We couldn't stop eating it. A little pricey, but the vibes are good, the staff is nice, and the servings are large. Truly, everything was so umami and seasoned well. The drinks were also outstanding. We really loved the bulgogi fries and the roll. Just so good. Now that I think about it, we also really loved the pork belly too. Just such a good fun date night spot! Perfect to eat here and then have a little sunset watch at gasworks park. There is parking out front, but not free :)

We were a table of 4 and got seated pretty quickly. The waiter was training someone and did her best waiting all the tables. For food, we got the tteok boki and street fries to share and each got an entree. The portion size is HUGE and dishes are pretty authentic. The drinks were also really good! I especially liked the lavender lychee collins. Just a note though the prices for drinks aren't listed! The marg (kinda mediocre) and lavender lychee collins were $17 each and that flight was $40 Overall I would recommend the food and drinks there. Maybe not the marg and flights (only bc it was so expensive).

Weird location, weird shaped building, but a pretty great environment! It's situated right off the Burke Gilman trail, but the front door points towards trail not towards the road. This building has had quite a bit of turnover over the last few years, so I think a lot of people don't know about this bar yet. The menu seems kind of fusion-y which isn't usually my favorite, but the thing that stood out to me the most was that they have actually really good beignets. They're big, fluffy, and just the right amount sweet. Bartender was super nice as well. Overall this was a fun new discovery for me!

Got sake flight, kimbap and tteokbokki. Wonderful service and excellent quality food and drink. Really excited to return!

Where do I start? My husband and I have been coming to the Mini Bar since they opened. I can never say a bad thing about our experience. They go above and beyond to make us feel like family. It's a couple who runs the restaurant, best food you'll eat. Cocktails are so good. We haven't had a bad dish! We went in last night and we recently got married, they remembered and brought us a special treat to celebrate. I always forgot to take photos of my food, but I will attach the times I have taken photos. There's also loads of games you can play while you're waiting for food. It's our favorite place to come. Thank you for adding a restaurant like MiniBar to a community who needed it!

Came here on a weekend and was able to get seated fairly quickly. We were able to sit inside with our dog. We shared 3 food items across 2 people. All of the dishes are very large and are great for sharing with other people. We got an order of street fries, that comes with curry on top of fries and chicken katsu. The tteokbokki was also very good with a mild spice. The ssam pork belly plate was my favorite because the pork belly was nice and crisp and I liked the freshness of the lettuce. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and service at Mini Bar. I would definitely come back here and highly recommend this place.

Be careful with the good reviews. It's very high on both Google and Yelp but this is more likely because the owner would actively appeal to Google/Yelp to have the unfavorable reviews removed. They also have a dishonest 3% surcharge if you pay with credit card, which was not advertised anywhere. If you are going to add a surcharge, at least tell your customers about it. The food is mediocre and no where near what some of the reviews made it sound to be. The food itself is 3-4 stars but I'm giving the business a 2 because of how the owner made very snarky comments to me on Google then have Google removed my review. The owner seems to have a pattern of identifying customers who made unfavorable reviews then making snarky comments--before asking Google/Yelp to remove the reviews. I seriously doubt how authentic the high ratings are. Also be aware of the parking situation nearby, especially if you arrive at night. This is not a suburban strip all, all parkings are paid parking and you'd be ticketed if you don't pay. -- Edit: (response to owner) where did you see me say you "paid" to get the review removed? We all know there are many tactics you can employ to get a review removed from public----be it appeal with your business account or mass report it. I don't think it's a coincidence that my review disappeared from Google Maps right after you snakily replied there. I wouldn't have this "hatred" if you didn't personally identify me, insulate my review (or any other negative ones you saw) was unfair, then try to get my review removed. People have different tastes, different standards--businesses get subpar ratings all the time. What's so hard of being a completely honest business instead of nurturing a fake "community" with a fake perfect review score? "Report" or even sue me all you want. I don't care. It will only make you look even worse. Please at least point out which part is "false" if you want to accuse me of slandering. I'll be happy to delete this post if you swear to god that you never tried to get my review removed.

Never knew this was right across from Fremont brewery and in such a neat area. Great place to stop by after a lake day, trip in the city, or chill evening with pals. The teriyaki wings and Katsu surprised me and were flavorful and prepared well. I was excited for the fries, but wish it had more sauce and filling. The fries themselves were really good. we were the first to arrive around 630 and it quickly got packed and filled with many groups. You may need to remind them to refill water as the staff was busy and low staff. Got to chat with the owner and she was super friendly. I'm happy the business is doing well.

Unassuming spot with the best food. Easiest parking is the paid lot. I think it's next to a laundromat because it smelled strongly of laundry detergent the entire time. Drinks were yummy - Watermelon-Rita ($13) and Prickly Pear Mule ($13). The food is INCREDIBLE. This Chicken Katsu ($15.95) is pounded very thinly, perfectly crispy and not greasy at all. The Bulgogi Kimbap ($10.95) was delicious too - loved how it was scrappily assembled. The staff were so accommodating and sweet.

I cannot wait to come back! Stopped by to order some takeout and the bartender offered us water while we waited. They have a few different cocktail flights that I am eager to try. I ordered the bibimbap and my friend had the kimchi fried rice. Both were delicious and filling! The location seems a bit random but it looks like they have a nice outdoor spot for a nice day. I will definitely back to eat in!

Located across from Fremont brewery, Mini Bar is a great easily accessible restaurant. Came here for a double date on a Wednesday evening. My group planned to order a few appetizers on the share section of the menu but ended up ordering and sharing more plates half way into the evening because the food was so tasty and portion sizes were generous. The cocktails were fun, flavorful, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is super caring and the food is delicious - it feels like a mom and pop shop that I will easily come back to. We even got to meet the owner :) The next items on the menu that I look forward to trying is the fried rice, sliders, and stone pot.

I went to this place with my family summer of last year because of some Yelp reviews. Their place is kind of hidden and not the easiest to find. The interior was pretty small but had very cool ambiance. They had a limited menu with fusion cuisine. I would say the food was average. Service was pretty good. My husband enjoyed the pork belly dish though.

The owners were super friendly. If you're looking for street food/ drunk late night kindda vibe, this is the one.

Great experience until I got the bill and saw the drinks (which didn't have prices on the table tents) ranged from $17-$20! They were okay, but even for my favorite cocktails I'd have trouble shelling out that much. The rest of the menu is very reasonably priced, so I didn't see that coming at all and definitely wouldn't have had a second round if I'd known! Not enough to keep me from going back for the delicious food, but will not be having my cocktails there.

This place was the best food we had in Seattle. The Korean food is authentic and delicious. (We should know because we are Korean and live in NJ.) The vibe is awesome and the service was friendly. Took a bit to get served because it was so so busy! The owner was very friendly and lovely. We even considered coming back the next night to try out the other items on the menu. Would give 6 stars if we could!!

You must try this amazing find in Fremont, the dynamic duo Jesse and Jane are preparing elevated street food with mama's blessing in all the dishes. Passion and attention to quality ingredients make this an experience to remember. Don't be fooled by the name, while they do have a mini bar, they are mighty in their food offerings. Come and support this local establishment and taste the passion they possess. In the spirt of Seattle come on down to support this restaurant.

Loved this place. We called ahead because we were coming with 10 people and they accommodated our group with a couple hours notice. But I will say the space is small, and better for small groups. The food was surprisingly good! It's a mix of Asian foods, and everything the group ordered was delicious. Curry was flavorful. Katsu was nice and crispy. Pork belly was tender. Bulgogi kimbap was filled and the meat was flavorful too. We also got Seoul equites and that was also delicious. I don't think you'll won't be disappointed with anything you get.

This place is GREAT! Food and drinks are DELICIOUS. Owner is so friendly and a hard worker. Ambiance is laid back, a no fuss local joint to hang out and enjoy. Highly recommend coming here.

Jane and her team are the nicest people I've ever met. Also their food is solid!! Most come here for their comfy vibes, yummy bites, and great drinks. We love bringing our friends here to show them why we love it. Dumplings are I'm my FAVORITE item on the menu. But dang. The cheese curds slap. Seriously, you won't be disappointed. Bring your boo here on a first date, birthday, treat yourself. Can't wait to come back!

Jane and the chef were truly incredible and made our trip to Seattle all the much better! Their hospitality was unmatched and the food and drinks were amazing across the board. I would be a repeat customer if I lived in the city! My fiance and I are recently engaged as well, and they made us feel so special and celebrated the occasion

I really don't know where to start, because I'm so full. First, you really should rename your place, Jane. Not Mini Bar, no, no. It should be Awesome Mini Bar. The food? Wonderful. Here's the thing: Gimbap is one of my favorite foods. I have eaten a lot of it, if you can imagine. Awesome Mini Bar's Gimpab is LEGIT. How legit? WAY BETTER THAN Korean Tofu House Express' on the Av. WAY BETTER than the one that my friend's Mom makes down in Olympia (sorry H *peace* Love you Oma). Way better than the ones in K-Town Los Angeles. I went to this sweet place after a little concert. Not expecting a lot I guess, but that turned out to be a good thing. I don't care what anyone says, but this Gimbap is more than spot on - it was absolutely delicious. From now on, I will only get my gogi Gimbap fix HERE. Now, Korean Tofu House Express Gimbap doesn't even come a close second. I don't hate KTHE. I'm just saying why go there where parking is terrible when I can easily drop by Awesome Mini Bar? Don't listen to the whiner Schleprock who complained about the parking here (el cheapo wants free parking lol). There is ample parking here and I was so pleased. I highly recommend this sweet place and will be back soon. I also had the Tokyo Fries and whoa. Yeah, that's another hit right there. Jane and the gentleman that I so wish I asked his name were so welcoming. Good peoples :) What a great menu. Yummy, yummy, yummy food. I Love the layout of the place. Great vibe, too!

The food is so so good. I cannot recommend this place enough. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area where there is really good food; and Mini Bar Seattle can compete with the best in the bay. My husband and I accompanied our son to his go-to place. He was raised in the Bay Area, lived in NYC, now Seattle. He knows his food. Mini Bar really is incredible. From the moment you arrive you are taken care of in every way. Owner Jane couldn't be more welcoming and gracious. The food is amazing! Fresh ingredients, incredible large portions Everything was so tasty and fresh...we finished every last morsel. We had... Pineapple Fried Rice - fragrant, fresh and delightful mouth-taste. Chicken Katsu: Came out steaming hot, lightly battered, perfectly seasoned, melts in your mouth. Bibimbap: Hearty portion, well-balanced ingredients, super fresh, delicious Kimchi. We also had beautifully aromatic Curry, fresh Fish, and rounded everything out with Beignets which were crispy, deliciously cinnamony and some of the best I've ever had. Great service, great vibe. If you're in Seattle and you can eat here - you should. Can't wait to go back!

I'm a vegetarian and had the mini bop with tofu and absolutely loved it. There was so much going on and so many flavors that were just perfect. The drinks were so good and the people were so amazing, and very dog friendly. It seems like a great neighborhood spot that I want to come to over and over again.

I am from Sacramento CA and I'm fairly new to Seattle. I have quite honestly had such a hard time finding a place that checks off all of my boxes. Food quality, service, vibes & parking were all 10/10 here at the Mini Bar. This has honestly been the first place I have truly enjoyed during my stay here. Do not pass this trendy bar up! (Pictures not included of the delicious shrimp tacos & outstanding Bloody Mary that were ordered)

Minibar is such a hidden gem in Fremont. It is sandwiched in between Fremont brewing and Burke Gilman trail. Snag a seat right next to the bar's garage doors, and the owner, Jane will welcome you and open those doors to reveal an incredibly scenic, oceanic feel - a little escape from the busy streets behind you. I came here with a colleague and Jane and Jesse, the owners were incredibly down to earth and took care of us like we were part of the family. We had Kibo sake cans which were fitting for a "minibar" but don't be fooled, this menu is not mini at all. Expect an unbelievably large menu, and I mean I just don't know how they do it with two people in a small kitchen! it's like magic! The food that comes out is incredibly high quality, and the homemade kimchi was BOMB! We suggested that she sell it and apparently she did once but it got too popular! You've got to go just to try that along with her epic pork belly - some of the best I've ever had. Seattle, please take care of this precious spot. It deserves so much love because you can tell, they put a lot of theirs in it. I am def coming back and bringing a crew!!!

Excellent. If you want healthier bar food and a place closer to the lake this is a very good place to go. Prices are reasonable depending what you like to order. Staff does a great job. We were able to find Korean inspired fires we missed very much from SF. This is very comparable to it. Would love to revisit!

When we saw this place had a full five stars on google with over 100 reviews, we knew we had to check it out, and we were not disappointed!! It looks like kind of a hole in the wall, but the food and drinks were incredible and the service was excellent. We had the potstickers, esquites, taquitos, street fries, mule flight, and lavender lychee collins and no complaints about any of them. The street fries were a highlight for sure, and I loved all 3 mules. It was definitely a little too much food for 2 ladies so we took some home I'll definitely be back to try the other things on the menu!

My new favorite restaurant in Seattle. Jane and team are probably the most hospitable hosts I've ever met, and their food is incredible. They go out of their way to make us feel at home there every time we come. I've turned a number of my friends on to them as well, mini bar is a main hang spot for my group now. (EF is a tool for that review).

An absolute gem in the outskirts of Fremont and a safe haven for those in the know. The food is amazing, drinks are delicious and creative. And if I could relive the first time a tried their kimchi I might cry.

This little spot opened about 9 weeks ago and is a 2 person show. Jane the owner is incredibly friendly and chatted us up about her passion for the business. I only had the street fries, extra dirty (add pico and Mexican corn) with Bulgogi. You can also get the street fries with spicy pork. The fries were delicious and I look forward to going to back to try more of the food, everything on the menu sounds great!

Had a few drinks, including a delicious spicy margarita, and shared plates here. Wasn't expecting the food to be as stellar as it was - fried shrimp and the bibimbap bowl. Yum. I will be back.

I'm so happy I live close to this place. The owner is so fun and engages with her customers and the community! This time we just got drinks but we're eyeing another table's katsu orders that looked about like a pound of meat each. Our drinks were delicious and a misunderstanding of the menu turned into a mule flight and that was awesome too. We've had great food here before and can't wait to come back for breakfast!

This place is awesome and the service is even better. Small little place with a kitchen with some big flavor! This is the second time going and we made sure to bring friends. Their shared plates menu is great for a night out and there hasn't been a menu item that isn't less than spectacular. The owner Jane provided great service and you can tell she has a passion for her menu. Would absolutely recommend stopping here for a bite!

Super dog friendly!! They gave a complimentary "pup cup" of turkey and white rice to our Samoyed puppy. And our human food - chicken katsu - was delicious. Great selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. Very convenient location. Will be back!!

Could not recommend this place more! The food is fantastic, I've gotten the Mini Bop bowl twice now and it is so so good!! I can't wait to come back and try something new. Jane is so friendly and does such a great job engaging with everyone. She is not only kind to people, but also so kind to our dog. She brought him some treats and his own little rice bowl we will be regulars for sure!

FIRST! I'd like to say everything that I've got here was amazing! Me and my family came out to eat @mini bar Seattle and we feasted family style! Everything from sharable items to our entrées where f#%*ing amazing! The star of the show was one item that I hope no one misses! The KIMCHI!!! I've had a lot of kimchi out in the 206 but this one you can just tell the love was made with it! 5 stars for me and I hope everyone that comes here falls on love like I did. My only regret............... is that I didn't take pictures before I ate it looks like you'll have to find out yourself
