Mini-Europe

Mini-Europe looks fantastic! Unfortunately, I couldn't go in as it was closed during my visit, but I got a great view of it from the Atomium. The detail in the miniature landmarks is impressive, even from a distance. It seems like the perfect place for families—kids would love exploring all the tiny versions of famous European sites, and adults would enjoy the craftsmanship and nostalgia of seeing familiar landmarks in miniature form. Based on what I saw, it’s definitely a 5-star attraction. I’d love to visit properly next time!

Walking through the park feels like a quick trip across the continent, with detailed miniature replicas of iconic landmarks from various European countries. Travelled to Brussels but saw all Europe :) very nice park with educational purposes too. Nice cafe at the end. Very interesting and pretty accurate miniatures of buildings and monuments.

We visited Mini-Europe in Brussels, and it was such a cool and unique experience! It’s like taking a quick trip across Europe without leaving the city. The detail they put into each miniature landmark is impressive – from the Eiffel Tower to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, they’ve got all the big highlights of Europe covered in one place. The park is really well-maintained, and it's a fun spot for both kids and adults. Walking around, you get a little sense of adventure, exploring the different countries and recognizing famous buildings. It’s also pretty educational with signs and info about each monument, so you can learn a bit as you go. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We spent a good amount of time wandering through all the displays, and it was actually pretty fun to see everything up close. There’s even some interactive parts with moving trains, boats, and small features that add to the experience. If you’ve got kids or you just like quirky spots, this is definitely worth a visit. It’s a perfect way to spend a couple of hours, especially if you’re into travel and architecture!

Very detailed replicas of locations throughout Europe. I thought it was a very cute place. The booklet is very informational about all the sites. If you’re in Brussels and are visiting with children you should definitely go here.

Mini Europe gave me the opportunity to have a glimpse of all major landmarks in Europe without having to spend money on flights. The interactive nature made it more than sight seeing. You get to have a feel by clicking buttons and heaving sounds and twisting wheels that steer ships on water. Worth every penny

Amazing place worth visiting! You can see beautplaxes across Europe and decide where do you want to travel next. ;) A lot of parking spots available. The tour is well organized, you can take a paper guide and just follow the arrows. The exposition is super interactive, you can make objects move, listen to national anthems, learn about history and presented objects. There is a really nice surprise for space enthusiasts as well (Ariane 5 launch :)). I will visit again in a few years to see what's new!

We really enjoyed the visit to mini Europe. We bought a combi ticket online for here and Atomium which seemed to be the best value. We were given a booklet when we arrived which gave us information on the park. There was lots to see and fun little games in every country. There was a cafe located at the end and it's certainly better than the one at Atomium. Plus the toilets are free (which seems to be a luxury in Belgium).

We had soooooo much fun here. Perfect gem just a short walk from the Atomium. Also a great place to grab a picture of it away from the crowds. We were able to get here from the guided bus tour, drop off and pick up close to our hotel. We were able to get around the place in about an hour and some change. It's a great place to learn about the different countries around and take some fun pictures.

The details of the buildings were on point and everything was basically perfect except for some minor color problems. It was interactive as well for the kids! I would recommend! The only thing bad is it got a little boring and I wish there was like a tour guide or something like that for free that could explain the building a little more in depth.

Brussels is a wonderful city and has so much to offer. Yet, Mini Europe quickly became my favorite part of the trip. We booked tickets to the Atomium and apparently, booked tickets that included it, Mini Europe, and a nearby museum. I am so glad we did. They are all in walking distance and a good half to 3/4 of a day trip! In just getting started on my Europe bucket list, but it was awesome seeing some of the places I've been and some that I dream of going in a mini version. Everything was so detailed and realistic. While the choices are extremely limited, they do have a cafe in case you get hungry or thirsty while there. Make sure to purchase something at the gift shop too.

Mini Europe is a pretty cool park next to the Atom building in Brussels, Belgium. I liked it overall. It was very well-kept and clean, and I was lucky enough to come on the slower season so I didn't have to fight throngs of tourist to enjoy this attraction. I was expecting the structures to be better built. As it is they look like they are built somewhat cheaply. Some of them are well-made but some of them you can tell they are nothing more than plywood structures I was actually expecting it to be exact replicas of their counterparts, made out of concrete and professional building materials, but they are close enough. I guess I need to set my expectations a little lower. Overall this is a very nice place it can be done in an hour or so. It is not very big and follows a well structured path you can easily follow. Lots of picture opportunities here!

Weather wasn't too great (37 degree and rainy) but we still decided to go inside. Entrance wasn't expensive in my opinion, 15€ per person. Kids 6 and under free. They have combination tickets with the Planetarium, Atomium and other attractions. My kids loved running around and seeing all different cities from all over Europe. The views of the park are very very pretty and you can see the Atomium clearly. The displays have cities, people, boats, trains, airplanes. I noticed some water slides in another area but I'm not sure if it's part of this park or not. They do have a cafe/restaurant where you can grab a drink and bite during your visit. I really enjoyed our visit here and will be returning in the near future with better weather.

Really cool place. Many countries and cities in Europe. Pretty much had all the major cities and even some smaller ones I had never heard of. We spent about an hour in there. And that's going through it pretty quickly since they were closing soon. Went at about 3:30pm and there was no line in September. Bring your student ID if you have one so you can buy the combo ticket with the Atomium for much cheaper than the adult price.

It was a combo ticket with Atomium for like 22 Euros or something, so we figured what the heck. After having our minds blown by Atomium (not literally) we headed over to Mini Europe. We took the train all the way out here from downtown which was about 30-45 minutes, so since it's kind of out in the middle of nowhere, you want to get your money's worth. It appears best to enter on the side closest to the train station as we exited Atomium and had to walk almost all the way around the block to enter where the waterpark starts. Anyway, we came in the off-season (september), so it was super dead and not crowded so we really could get a good look at things. People have mentioned that when you come in, they make you take a picture with this man dressed up in an orange dinosaur costume, which they try to sell to you later. It's really actually kind of awkward. It was even more awkward when my sister thought he was holding his arms out because he wanted a hug and she went full in and hugged him and then he had to spin her around toward the camera all the while motioning me in to his side to get in the picture. I resisted at first but then I saw that they weren't going to take no for an answer until they got the shot. Anyway, after the preceding torment, the rest of the park is a breeze. It's actually kind of lengthy and there are a lot of countries represented here. The miniatures are really well kept and you'll see all the key sights like the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben/Parliament, the Grand Place, the Tower of Pisa & the Berlin wall. The water on the other hand isn't well kept so watch your kids so they don't trip into the algae swamps. I thought it was nice to hear the anthems of all the countries and see the smaller scale versions of sights we had seen prior to making it to Belgium. It's a cute place for kids and even adults can learn something here. It was worth buying the combo ticket.

Good place to view europe in few hours It has most of the Europe countries with their popular buildings. They are working models as things move when you press a button. Good for trip planning to which country to go to. Each miniature scale is really good as compare to originals. Next to train station and atomium so easy to visit but be ready to walk a lot.

Why is this place so expensive? Everything was old, the water was all gross and filled with mosquito eggs, and the food prices inside were exorbitant. If you're in the area for the Atomium or something, I guess you could consider going, but it's probably cheaper to buy a train ticket and go to these European countries instead. Also, when you enter, you'll be assaulted by this creepy orange turtle-looking mascot to take a photo. I said no the first time, but then had to forcibly move its hand away and push the thing aside before walking into the park.

Upon entry, you take a photo with the orange turtle mascot - they have their own photographer and when you try to take pictures with your camera, the turtle walks away. You'll find your picture for sale before you exit for 6-10eu. A picture with a creepy turtle and I have to pay for it? No, thanks! Here you'll find scale models of European landmarks. Nyhavn, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur complete with a funicular, Arc de Triomphe, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Venice canal, oldest bull ring in Seville, Belem Tower and many others. You'll see a lot of Belgian landmarks - this is in fact in Belgium! This is an outdoor setting so you are subject to elements such as sun, rain, snow, cold, hot and what have you. So, go here when it's nice out. There is a button you can push to make certain things move or maybe play the national anthem of a particular country. It was my idea to come here and I dragged my sister along. She was not too thrilled about going here as we've already seen most European landmarks in person. My inner child still wanted to be amused. My sister ended up enjoying this place in the end. This place brought back memories of the times we've visited certain countries. There are restaurants here including a Brazilian steakhouse which is not European but Brazilian and Argentinian steakhouses are popular in most European countries. There is also an area about European history, languages, musical instruments, etc.

Very nice place: you can look at all the main buildings in Europe in one single place. Of course, with internet access nowadays, everyone in the world can look up all buildings they want, but it is still fun to walk among the miniature version of them, seeing them from all sorts of angels in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Cool place to learn quick facts about different European countries all in one spot. When they say mini, they mean mini. I was expecting slightly larger models, but I did enjoy that some of the models were interactive (sounds and movement). Take the booklet at the entrance to read the history of each location while you visit the models, you'll appreciate the views much more. If you follow the trail, you'll get a quick rest stop at the cafe before you finish your mini tour. Great place for kids.

It's interesting to see what they decided should be included for each country. It's fun to press the buttons to hear the sounds and animations. However, the mini buildings do look a little run down and some models were built better with more attention to details than others. Looked like some of the models were outright broken. Oh yea, dont forget to read the pro-europe literature haha.

Having read the reviews I made a concerted effort to avoid getting accosted by the man in the teddy bear costume for a photograph as we entered. I failed miserably and he actually chased us down and brought us back to the entrance while proclaiming we would cost him his job if we made it through without our entrance being documented. He then proceeded to try and direct us for the photographer who was busy capturing the momentous occasion for posterity. When he began to push us closer together suggesting we savour the romance of the situation I could take it no more and broke it to him that I was actually in the company of my daughter. At this point he very quickly became désolé and left us to explore the delights of mini europe. As I look at my review now I realise I'm going to struggle to write as much about the whole attraction as I have just written about the outlandish teddy bear man experience. It was just a collection of scale models of landmarks, there were a few boats which moved around in the various water features and then the real highlight which was the earthquake simulator. If they built this in my home town I would never go, it was OK for a tourist activity to kill an hour or so but don't expect to be blown away by anything they have to offer, except maybe the enthusiasm of the teddy bear guy.

Although it was a frigid, cold day I had a blast at mini Europe! Furthermore, the weather conditions kept the crowds away and my two travel buddies and I got to explore the attraction with like 5-7 other people. I went in December if that helps with temperatures of about 5-13 Celsius. I just happen to live in Madrid where there is another park similar to this one, but I seem to be weird and really like miniature sized things, so mini europe was on the top of my list to see in Brussels. In my opinion these replicas aren't mini, such as tiny Town in Colorado but they are intricate. Go on a nice sunny day perhaps if you hate the cold but you may then miss out on all the fun, interactive buttons to press. Many of the landmarks have buttons that play the national anthem of the country and/or a button that makes a volcano in Pompeii erupt or simulate the fall of the Berlin Wall. This is an adventure for all ages and I highly recommend it! Did quite care for the activities they had inside, the movie you can watch was not functioning and many of the ear pieces were no exsitant. Other than that small qualm...I loved mini-Europe!

Seemed pretty worn down and tired looking. Definitely past its prime. When compared to bright and clean Mini Netherlands in The Haag I can only give this place two stars.

My wife and I spent a good portion of our day trip to Brussels here, I went as a kid while living in Belgium for a school trip and I honestly didn't remember much. However as an adult and seeing kids there, it does seem interesting to all ages. It's basically a nice way to see the EU without having to pay to get everywhere. I also love how there were things not just of famous buildings but of some political satire/current events. I went in October and didn't realize I hadn't reviewed it. There was people protesting outside London parliament with signs about Bexit, military around the Grand Place as this was not too long after the airport attacks and a few others dotted around. I really liked that it wasn't just showing buildings but kind of giving an insight to the political climate on the larger scale in Europe.

Mini europe is basically a small outdoors space that shows you miniature pieces of famous places in Europe. If you're a kid, you'll prolly love it. The prob is I came here as a 21 year old in December, so it was cold, and it had already snowed, so a lot of the pieces were kinda snowed in. I'd pass if you have limited time in the city.

This place is interesting, They have all the castles and famous building from every European country all in one place. It is outdoor so rainy days won't work. It's very kid friendly and safe. The buildings are well made with the national song of each country playing. They also have a indoor food area and and outdoor food area.

Great potential but in need of maintenance. Excellent representation of many of the landmarks and gives you just enough of a taste to want to visit many of the member countries. A bit pricey for what you get though.

We found this an enjoyable and interesting way to pass a few hours. Kind of expensive, but not too bad. We went when the weather was pleasant (about 70F), but definitely were searching for some shade along the paths (very little to be found). Definitely recommend bringing sun protection and something to drink.

Monday seemed like most the other museums I was planning to visit so decided to venture up to North Brussels. Mini Europe and the Atomium on a deal seemed worth it. Anyway the park was pretty interesting, nice interactive features that would entertain kids. Also the ability to take a photo of m crushing where I love via clever camera angles is worth it
