I visited Ministry of Crab in Bangkok, and overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. The interior is stylish and modern with an open kitchen, allowing you to watch the chefs at work. The atmosphere feels both classy and casual, making it comfortable whether you’re on a date or with friends.
Food:
The seafood was fresh, especially the crab, which is their star ingredient. Presentation was top-notch, and the dishes looked appetising. That said, while the food was good, it didn’t completely blow me away for the price point. The flavours were enjoyable, but didn’t have the wow factor I expected from such a renowned restaurant.
Drinks:
The passionfruit drink was refreshing, vibrant, and a great palate cleanser between dishes.
Service:
The service was superb—attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. Staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to explain dishes and recommend pairings.
Sustainability Touch:
I also appreciated their focus on sustainability, such as their “Guilt Free Water” initiative, which uses filtered water and reusable bottles to reduce waste.
Verdict:
If you’re a seafood lover, it’s worth visiting for the freshness, presentation, and excellent service. However, if you’re expecting mind-blowing flavours to match the hype, you might find it just “good” rather than “extraordinary.”
