Best place to visit for a short to long stay. Excellent beaches pure white sand and clear blue water.

Menorca – The Quiet Rebel of the Balearics Menorca is the low-key sibling of Mallorca and Ibiza – an island where almost nothing happens, and that’s exactly the charm. The vibe is laid-back, a bit pensioner chic, and perfect if your idea of excitement is hearing birds instead of bass drops. The beaches? Absolutely stunning. Crystal-clear water, peaceful coves, and – best of all – way less crowd than the other Balearics. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, your phone stays in your pocket, and your blood pressure finally chills

1st time in menorca, we stayed in de'arneal. Nice and reasonably quiet, the hotel been right on the beach with a bay area that I've never seen before. The water was extremely clean for a beach with the bluest water. The hotel aquamania has alot for the kids but it has to as your out in the sticks and a bus or taxi journey to the nearest city centre. Taxi's are readily available, we ate at the Chinese restaurant round the corner from the hotel. I ordered 2 Taxi's and they were there waiting within 3 minutes so been from england that baffled me just how quick they were. All round the hotel is good, not the cleanest but definitely a decent hotel with alot of stuff to do with the kids, 2 pools plus a baby pool and also an only adult pool. Play park, mini golf, arcades etc..

The Osprey Minorca hotel Was wonderful. Minorca is so nice and easy. There are beautiful beaches and caves to swim in. This is the lesser known of the islands and I will always go back here! The water is a beautiful clear blue and green.

Menorca is a island in Spain on the Mediterranean Sea and is a part of the Balearic Islands. You can get too and from Menorca by plane or boat. The island also has many attractions to see and do from relaxing on its many and taking in the beauty of the beautiful turquoise water of the Mediterranean to hiking shopping site seeing sailing and more. Some of my favourite attractions and things to do so far on my trips here have been taking in the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea from around the area near Comitas Tramontana Hotel it has some of the most amazing views on the island and any where. The area also some grate walking spots and a hiking spot that is a bit of an adventure but my niece who is 2 did it. Binibeca is a great tourist town that has shops restaurants bars and some pretty cool walk ways around town. The town is pretty much all white. The Fortress is another place that is very cool and it has a lot of history of Spain here and is very historic. I recommend you have a lot of time to see this fort it is very large and can take a few hours to most of a day depending on how quick you walk. There is many cool attractions inside the fort from tunnels to historic guns and tanks and beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea just to name a few things. The city and port of Cuitadella is also a neat place and has a cool feeling to it. These are a few things that I have enjoyed. Menorca is an island that is up and coming and is most busy during tourist season from about may to September

Beautiful - but be careful if you think you can cycle around the island on the bridle paths. They can be very tricky and narrow. I would only recommend it if you are a serious mountain biker. And make sure you have a good map of the routes. Many people I met on the longer routes asked for directions and distances and were often surprised at how far they had to go and there's lots of side roads and paths that seem to be signalled on the maps but say 'privada' so it's unsure whether you can use these or not.

Absolutely magical on this hidden paradise among the Balearic island. An island full of authenticity and its identity. The people here are what makes his a magical place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I did’t have one bad moment here comparing when when I was in Italy. It is very relaxing, serene, and charming everywhere we go. We came here with a direct flight from Nantes. It only took us 1.5 hours to arrive in paradise. How convenient! Everything is well organized on the island. Tons of restaurants to choses from either inside or along the coast. The food is amazing here. I can’t wait to come back with the whole family and stay a few weeks here.

Stunning Island. Full of history. I would recommend hiring a car to take advantage of places off the beaten track
