Bad. Staying here feels like an excellent way to experience what it’s like to be a foreign tourist in the USSR. Completely not worth the price. Almost every time you pass with a backpack or suitcase, there’s a security check at the entrance. Outdated renovation, though I’d rate the overall condition of the room as average. The mattress creaks a lot. Few power outlets in the room. Cleaning quality is good. There’s a constant 24/7 humming sound from equipment installed outside the windows facing the courtyard. The cooling system worked poorly, and opening the window was impossible because of this noise. From time to time, you could also hear the rumble of subway cars passing underground. On top of that, the Wi-Fi connection kept dropping. The location is excellent.

I am very disappointed. Arrogant staff looking down on me from a high pedestal. A cold room where for some reason the window was open at 9 degrees. A room card that didn't work, then I was blocked in the hotel's Whattsapp support when I asked for help. Received no receipt, although I requested one. And of course in a 4 star hotel you first ask for the room number and unfortunately not what I want to drink. Paid a lot of money for a very poor service and a worn bed and a room with too few and inconveniently placed sockets. Have I already mentioned the arrogance of the staff? Not even fried or scrambled eggs for breakfast. It was a maximally bad stay! Thank you for this experience;)

The location I couldn't pay with my Visa card, like in all other hotels in Minsk. The reception staff looked down on me as if I were on a pedestal. The hotel was extremely expensive for the price, and unfortunately, there was no other option at the time. The breakfast selection was very limited. The SIM card didn't work, and the staff was unfriendly.

Stayed for four (3+1) non-consecutive nights in two different rooms (4th and 6th floor). The property is well located (within walking distance of shops, restaurants and attractions) and does its job, but looks tired and in need of renovation. Reasonably quiet.|Both rooms looked slightly gloomy, with dark decor and stained carpeting that had seen better days. Inconveniently located power sockets: at floor level both near the desk and near the head of the bed behind the curtains. A/C was old and difficult to adjust. Amenities included mini-fridge and electric kettle.|Reasonably comfortable bed and pillows. Comforter only without top sheet (not ideal in summer). Multiple mismatched lamps that had to be turned off one by one.|Bathrooms with everything in working order, but in the 6th floor room the water pressure was low.|Wifi was fine on the 4th floor, but poor on the 6th floor at the end of the hallway.|Free parking for guests, although getting in and out is a little complicated.|Friendly staff; most of them speak English.

Stayed for a night in the year 2000 and I hope a lot had been done since. Then it was a typical "Soviet hotel" with a lot of staff doing the same thing and one woman counting everything in the room when you checked in and out. Belarusian people were not allowed to eat in the same restaurant as me as a foreigner. As I wrote - my stay was in 2000.

This is my second stay in Hotel Minsk. The Superior room at level 5 (528) was old with a strange odour. The corridor has an even stronger odour which requires sanitation urgently. Check-in & check out was efficiently processed at the Receptions counter. For a 4-star hotel, hotel workers didn't greet no smiles, just cold looking faces. The only smiling face was the Reception lady at the Health Club. She was friendly and smiling warmly when registering my use of the gym. The breakfast buffet was as impeccable as last week's stay. The other advantage is the convenient location next to Capital Mall, Railway station, metro, bus station, Galileo Mall, walking distance to major attractions.
