Mint Croft Luxury Self-Catering

We absolutely LOVED staying here. The setup of both the Blackhouse and the main Croft house were so nice and cozy with great amenities. We loved the peace and quiet and privacy of being on a secluded road and the views of the ocean were absolutely breathtaking. Hosts were very accommodating and communicative. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Would love to stay again!

Mint Croft is the most beautiful house!! We had a magical time exploring Skye and walking around Geary and luxuriating in the incredible space at the house (best kitchen ever). Thank you!!

The Mint Croft cottages have been tastefully refurbished to offer comfort and style in a location offering breathtaking views. There is an excellent pub and Michelin star restaurant in Stein, a nearby village. It is strictly self catering so stop to buy essentials at Portree on your way to the cottages as there are no shops nearby

You won't regret it! It's absolutely beautiful, cozy, charming and every detail is thought through. The perfect match to the beautiful sights you will see around the island. We stayed at the blackhouse for 3 nights and although it's far from the main tourist spots, it's the perfect excuse to wander around the island and have the chance to see and explore areas you otherwise wouldn't. The first night we arrived it was pretty foggy and there wasn't much visibility, but the next days we had a beautiful view of the lake from our room. Over the street there are a couple of honesty boxes where you can get eggs, cakes, cookies and marmalade and they're all delicious.

We had the great opportunity to be the first visitors to The Mint Croft May/June 2024! The new owners, James and Carolina, were warm and available hosts and have created an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable rental property on the gorgeous Waternish peninsula. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking of all kinds and the art work and ceramics that decorate the spaces are neutral yet inspirational. We especially loved the maps! We have booked again for next year and are telling our friends to do the same! The cottage works well for two couples and offers a lot of privacy. We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property! Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of for us and it was truly the best experience we have ever had renting a property. Such a gorgeous location - we saw deer, hawks, dolphins and even the Northern Lights! Close to wonderful restaurants and plenty to do in the area. Coming back to this cozy, clean and stunning home was the icing on the cake every day.

Greatly enjoyed our stay here! Especially enjoyed meeting the neighbors, visiting Donnie's delicious Tablet Shed, trying Jann's haggis and cakes, and so appreciated Marie's instructions on how to hike down to a nearby beach which we had all to ourselves! We have never seen so many stars in the sky, as we have at Mint Croft Blackhouse, a truly spectacular location! The host was also very responsive to our inquiries.

Beautifully and tastefully designed and furnished - this is a high quality holiday let set in stunning suuroundings. We had the most comfortable and relaxing stay before we carried on our NC500 tour. We would go back again in a heartbeat.
