Mint Santa Teresa

We just stayed at Mint for 6 nights with another couple and had an absolute blast! The staff is wonderful, location is great, no complaints! We really enjoyed the daily breakfast and nightly sunset cocktails by the pool. Highly recommend! We will be back! Also, special shout out to David for all his hard work and nightly dinner recommendations. He hit the spot every time.

My daughter booked this hotel for Mother’s Day., and this experience was one of the best among all my travel experiences!! The owner Jonas and Johanna were so kind and caring and ensured our stay was perfect. Their property was so clean, nicely decorated w/ a great European touch, and I just don’t have enough words to describe the property! The breakfast they provided was incredible from A to Z! I want to come back to Santa Teresa just to stay at the property again!!! You won’t regret every minute of your stay at Mint!! 💜💕 I already started dreaming about the place!!!!

Spent 5 nights at Mint and had an incredible experience. Our room had a world class view along with 2 patios that were private and breezy. Shared space around the pool was beautiful and spacious. Daily breakfast with coffee was the perfect start to everyday. The staff were delightful and helped us everything from bookings to local recommendations for food, surf and solitude. The hillside location is ideal and provides a sanctuary from the dust and noise of town. Recommend an ATV for checking out the best sites in the area. One of the finest accommodations you’ll find in the area.

We had the best time on our honeymoon at Mint— the breakfast is just as amazing, and delicious as referenced in other reviews, and sitting there by the pool looking out at the beach, drinking our coconut water quickly became one of the things we most looked forward to. Everyone we interacted with (both staff and guests) were lovely, and incredibly helpful in navigating our trip. The rooms and plunge pool were exactly what we were looking for, and were very tasteful and relaxing. Would absolutely recommend!!

We had an amazing stay. The room is big and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, always ready to assist with a smile. What truly sets this place apart is the peaceful atmosphere—it’s a serene oasis in the middle of a bustling and dusty Santa Teresa. There are several cozy spots around the property to sit back and unwind. Finally, the ocean view is amazing. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a very price worth relaxing retreat in the heart of Santa T!

Had an amazing 5-night stay at Mint. The owners provide an incredible concierge service and have tons of recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and activities. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed, plus a patio with stunning views. Even when it rained we had a great time sitting in the lobby with a glass of wine, enjoying the view. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious—a perfect way to start the day! Can’t wait to come back!

With a lovely "common area" at parking lot level and five private bungalows up a hill, Mint is a clean, modern boutique hotel well suited for adults who want to experience the hustle and bustle of surfing town Santa Teresa with a quiet place to go when the sun goes down. |The rooms are simply furnished with comfortable beds, a small storage area for your clothes, a room safe. The bathrooms are clean. A window in the bathroom opens to give you an outdoor showering experience if desired.|Breakfast is served in the common dining area and consists of fresh local mangoes, papayas, passion fruit, bananas, yogurt, eggs, zucchini biscuits, and as noted in other reviews, their delicious banana bread.|Jonas and Johanna are wonderful hosts, onsite for most of the day, to make sure guests have everything they need.|Each bungalow has a rooftop deck with great views of the town and ocean. They happen to be along a treetop path for howler monkeys, and if you are lucky the monkeys will entertain you in the early morning. Take your binoculars and camera to catch site of some of Costa Rica's many tropical birds.|Be aware that from the parking level it is 60 stairsteps up to the Deluxe Double Room, but again, the view is worth it.|Our family took advantage of the onsite bar (available until 8:00 p.m.) and the pool. We enjoyed our visit to Mint and highly recommend it to travelers to Santa Teresa.

This is an absolute gem of a place, all at an amazing price. What a slice of heaven this was. Views are like a green screen, the staff goes above and beyond and they care about each guest. I recommend to everyone I speak to and I'm dreaming about when ill be back.
