Minute Suites DFW Terminal D

Definitely not worth the price. I rather sleep on the floor in the airport next time. There was no temperature control on the rooms. And then there was a constant noise that you couldn't stop from the speakers. The little couch or whatever they put in there for you to rest on is as hard as the floor. The shower was so pathetic that I could have gotten more water out of a 16 oz water bottle and took a shower faster. I don't know who owns it. The concept is pretty cool but $200 for 8 hours and a shower is just not worth it.

I would not recommend this for sleep. It may be ok if you need office space for a brief time. We booked an 8 hour slot because we were scheduled to arrive in DFW at 11:30pm and our departing flight wasn't until 9:50am the next morning. When booking, I was told that if our flight was cancelled or delayed, the reservation could be cancelled or modified. Our flight was delayed 2 1/2 hrs and the only option I was given was that my 8 hr reservation would be changed from 2am - 10am. The room we were given was frankly gross. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed deeply in awhile and was baked into the carpet. It seemed there had been moisture damage to the carpet as well, like a poor quality carpet cleaning. The trundle in the couch was nearly impossible to pull out and was torn on one end. The mini-fridge was mildewy. And the A/C wouldn't allow you to adjust so the 4 hrs we were in the room we froze, even despite the extra blankets they gave us. I will never return to a Minute Suites anywhere. I hope the others are better but the Terminal D Minute Suites at DFW I do not recommend.

VERY GENEROUS VETERANS/FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNT Really great place to stay if you have an extended layover. Wife and I actually spent the night when we missed a connection. Theres a couch/daybed that’s basically a twin bed with a back rest. Underneath is a slide out twin size “mattress”. They do not line up evenly. You get some pillows and some blankets. It’s not the most comfortable! But it is comfortable enough. The major benefit to this over a nearby hotel, is that we were already past security, and in our case, already in the correct terminal. This saved us the cost of transportation to a hotel, and transportation back (unless the hotel offers a shuttle) but that can also be a considerable amount of time spent. And since we had about 7 hours, and had already spent the entire day in another airport due to delays, we just wanted as much time to sleep as possible. This worked perfectly. We checked in and set up the “beds” and went to sleep. When we woke up, we freshened up and grabbed our luggage and headed to our gate. VERY convenient. The young gentleman working the desk was also very helpful when I called with questions relative to the room as well as when we checked in. The gentleman the next morning was also friendly although our interaction was brief. I gave the suite a 4/5 simply because they are small. I completely understand why they are and I don’t blame them for it, but it’s a little tight if you have some carry ons and personal items and 2 people. But it works. My wife and I were both very happy that we decided to do it. Well done Minute Suites in DFW Terminal A. You were one of few bright spots in a trip PLAGUED with travel difficulties!!

Had a 6 hour layover in the middle of the night. My wife and I ordered a sleep pod before we boarded our first flight, and I am so very grateful that we did. So much better than crashing on the floor of an airport with nothing open after hours.

Due to the overwhelmingly negative reviews, I almost didn't even bother with checking out Minute Suites at the Dallas Ft Worth airport, Terminal A. However, due to an 8 hour overnight delay, I just needed a safe, clean place to catch a few hours of sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised! The suite was exceptionally clean, the gentleman working was very kind and helpful, and I was able to get a little rest before my flight.

This spot saved my husband and I. We had been traveling extensively on almost no sleep. By the time we got to Dallas our connecting flight got delayed so we were stuck there for 6hrs. We grabbed a suite for 2.5hrs, slept, charged our phones while relaxing and taking a break from the chaos of the airport. A little pricey but justifiable, so glad it was there when we seriously needed rest.

I use the shower as well as the broom. The shower was not clean. There was mildew on the shower curtain. The showerhead had a leak. The towels felt so rough and the trash band had not been clean when I stepped out of the shower. The floor was so sticky very disappointing.

What a disappointment. The bed wasn't a bed - just a very hard bench and the quality of the room was very poor.|Unfortunately this is not a place where you can rest in between flights.|And especially for the premium price you pay this is a total rip-off.|I am not one to usually write such a harsh review but this is a sham.|The one thing I can say to their credit is that they are responsive to their emails.
