I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Minzifa Hotel, which was my second time staying at your hotel. Unfortunately, this experience was far from satisfactory for the following reasons: 1. Strong Chemical Odor: The sheets and pillows emitted an extremely strong chemical smell that caused significant discomfort during my stay. 2. Worn-out Amenities: The mattresses and towels were old and worn, failing to meet basic hospitality standards. 3. Unprofessional Behavior Upon Arrival: Upon our arrival, we were asked to provide positive feedback about the hotel for promotional purposes! This was highly unprofessional, especially as it was requested immediately upon arrival, without having experienced the services!!! 4. Inexperienced and Rude Receptionist: The night receptionist was inexperienced and behaved rudely, which made the experience even more unpleasant. 5. Unreasonable Payment Request: On the night before check-out, we were told that the payment needed to be made immediately and in cash. When I paid and requested a receipt, the receptionist refused and stated that the receipt would only be provided the next morning. If the receipt was to be issued the following day, why was it necessary to demand payment at night? This was highly unprofessional and confusing!

A good hotel - the street had the appearance of being a bit run-down and shady, but there was actually no issue safety-wise. Minzifa was a great hotel, beautifully maintained authentic interiors, and a couple of very helpful staff members in Nasrallah and Azamat who helped us and guided us with whatever we needed. The hotel is walking distance from the main attractions in the town, and it turned out to be a great stop in our visit to Uzbekistan. Highly recommended!

Good boutique hotel, very close to Labi Hauz- good rings and helpful staff. Lovely rooms. Safe city. Visited a nightclub too with a staff member. Excellent experience. The breakfast was sumptuous and it’s a reasonably big hotel with a madrasah type rooms in one area.

Stayed here for two nights in September 2024.||Pros: |1) The room decor is exceptional. |2) The rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious. |3) The front desk is manned 24 hours and the staff spoke excellent English.|4) The location is great. It is a 2 to 5 min walk to the heart of Bukhara. Almost all sites can be visited on foot.|5) The place is quiet at night and the sleep quality was great.|6) There are plenty of restaurants within a 5 min walk|7) The breakfast is served reasonably early (7:30 am) and the spread was great with a lot of vegetarian choices.|8) The WIFI was free with great speed and connectivity|9) The tariff was reasonable.||Cons:|1) The hotel is short on parking space. But that is true for all hotels in the core area.

I traveled to Bukhara with two girlfriends, and we had a fabulous stay at Minzifa. The property is lovely, and the location couldn't be better. Most importantly, the staff took care of us like family. They made us breakfast boxes for our sleeper train and proactively made one with gluten free items (and even checked with our gluten-intolerant friend to make sure it all worked!). One of us left a coat behind, and they arranged a driver to have it delivered to us in Tashkent. We were so grateful, and I can recommend this property enough!

I didn't actually get to stay here as the room we booked turned out to be occupied when we arrived, an unpleasant error in the system, but the owner quickly spoke with us and arranged for our stay at another nearby location. A very generous gesture that made a good impression of the place. From what I saw of the hotel while figuring our situation out, it is a beautiful and spacious place with an antique charm to it. If I ever come back to this city, I will be looking to stay here.

Really beautiful rooms, with a pretty courtyard. Can get a bit noisy when people are heading in and out for breakfast, or when they are checking in or out. There is another wing to Boutique Hotel Minzifa which used to be a Madrasah as well but I didn’t stay there. Water provided daily, and heaters in the lavatories and bedrooms. Very comfortable and huge beds as well. Location is really good as well, very near to all the attractions and restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boutique Hotel Minzifa. There is also a Minzifa Boutique in one of the trading domes, and a Minzifa Cafe along the walking street.

Staying here was an absolutely amazing experience. They have 2 different kinds of courtyards with each their own style of rooms. The rooms in the wooden building have an amazing interior. My wife and I are both rough sleepers and sensitive to heat; the staff was so kind to listen to our worries and even changed a room (for free) in order to have sufficient airco and sleeping space. In other words: the staff really went the extra mile! They were always available and even provided an extra for my birthday (even though I only mentioned it accidentally). Moreover, the location is very close to the city center yet still very well tucked away in a nice enclosure. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’ll be back in Bukhara! Heck, these guys are one of the reasons we want to come back to Bukhara. The staff is one of the friendliest we’ve ever met. In short, highly recommended!
