Minzifa Boutique Hotel

I recently stayed at Minzifa Boutique Hotel and it was absolutely phenomenal. The building itself is full of character and history beautifully preserved with traditional architecture and a peaceful courtyard that used to be a madrasa. It’s one of the quietest and most relaxing spots I’ve found in Bukhara, perfect for morning tea or an evening rest after exploring the old city. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of local and fresh options. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. A special thanks to the wonderful staff, especially Ali, the night-shift receptionist very attentive, speaks excellent English, and made me feel truly welcome. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bukhara. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an authentic, peaceful experience in the heart of the old town.

A lovely intimate hotel in the heart of the old city. Very close to the main square and the market. Only about 10 rooms surrounding a lovely courtyard. Substantial and tasty breakfast. Lots of choice. Check in and check out was very efficient. The rooms themselves are very tastefully decorated and, most importantly, the beds are comfortable and large! Very good WiFi. |I would highly recommend this hotel!

The Minzifa Hotel listing is confusing and misleading. There are actually two different properties: the main Minzifa Hotel and a separate Minzifa Inn located nearby. The latter doesn't have their own address on Google and all bookings for the Minzifa Inn are handled by the Minzifa Boutique Hotel which is why I am posting the review on the hotel page. This distinction is not made clear on the website or booking platforms, and the confirmation email only briefly notes the Inn in small font while displaying the main hotel’s name and photos.||||The Minzifa Inn offers a much lower standard than the main hotel and more close to a hostel than the hotel. The facilities and cleanliness were below expectations — our room had visible dust, towels were stored in a shared area, and the courtyard contained building materials reflecting ongoing construction. We also had to have curtains on all the time as people from the neighborhood could see our room. The Minzifa inn property did not have a reception area and main entrance was lacking a lock which significantly impacts the security. Payment was also cash only at the inn despite the advertiser card payment. However, the breakfast for travelers staying at Minzifa Inn is served in the same area as the breakfast for Minzifa Boutique Hotel.||||After posting a factual review highlighting the above discrepancies, the owners confronted us in person multiple times, and demanded we remove the review, and threatened to evict us at 6 p.m. if we refused taking the review down. They also offered free services in exchange for a better review. This behavior raises questions about the authenticity of many positive reviews and about the guests safety.||||Travelers should be aware that the two Minzifa properties differ significantly in quality. There are more transparent and better-managed accommodation options available in Bukhara.

This is a great choice from a hotel in Bukhara. The staff are really helpful and welcoming. The building is an old Jewish merchant's house and the rooms out the back garden are in what used to be an old madrassa. The peaceful garden is a bonus. Rooms in the house have a lovely local design. There is also a fabulous shop downstairs with exquisite, quality embroidery etc.

A hidden gem in the heart of Bukhara! I stayed at Minzifa Boutique Hotel yesterday and was fully satisfied with everything. The hotel feels like a peaceful oasis quiet, elegant, and full of authentic charm. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful surrounded by traditional architecture, greenery, and the gentle sounds of the old city. The courtyard used to be a Madrasa during 16th-19th centuries. It’s the perfect place to relax with tea after a day of exploring. The Hotel itself is just 3mins walk away from main attractions and the city center. So, you don't have to pay extra for a taxi or delivery. The staff were kind and attentive, especially Sherzod (with good level of English), the room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere made me feel truly at home. If you want to experience the real Bukhara spirit, this is the place to stay!

Very beautifully decorated room in traditional silk road style. Loved the decorations on the wall. The washroom was so spacious. Breakfast was great. Only complain is the shower water is lukewarm and not hot enough, I was shivering when I got out, not a fun experience in early November when temperature is close to 0 celsius at night.

Nice cozy place to stay. It’s just a 2min walk from the main square but very quiet. The building itself is old and converted into a hotel. I liked the courtyard. The room is clean and bathroom is large for the offer. A/C works very well. Nice breakfast from 7:30, you’ll eat in the room where Suzani exhibited on the wall… the owner has Suzani collection for sale. You can ask the reception if you are interested. All originate from Bukhara and quality varied by pieces, but I think the design is more unique compared to the works in the bazaar.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Worth writing about and be grateful for my quick 2 day trip in Uzbekistan!|This hotel was recommended as a top hotel on other social platforms and I booked it with no further advice or knowledge. Even prior to arrival I was able to easily connect with hotel staff and get airport transfer as well as agree on necessary personal accommodations. Upon arrival, smooth and fast check-in, clean and spacious room, variety of foods to choose from during breakfast, overall atmosphere of calmness and peacefulness leading to an amazing sleep experience (this is an historic structure, previous madrasa place). Hotel staff recommended tours/guides in Bukhara and the area, transfer back to airport, and advised me on any other personal requests I came up with during my 2-night stay. |Thank you again for everything and I hope to see you sometime again in the future!
