Miód Malina is not just a restaurant – it’s a culinary fairytale brought to life through flavors, aromas, and an exceptional sense of detail. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere embraces you: warm, cozy, and wonderfully inviting, like being welcomed into a traditional Polish home. The interior, the beautiful oven, the seasonal decorations – everything creates a sense of comfort, authenticity, and soul. Time slows down here, and you simply enjoy the moment. The food is outstanding. Classic Polish cuisine elevated to perfection – rich, hearty, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The meat is tender and succulent, the sauces are deep and full of character, and every side dish is thoughtfully balanced. Each plate looks like a work of art and tastes even better than it looks. Desserts and drinks complete the experience flawlessly – the kind of ending that makes you smile and think: “This is exactly why I travel.” The service deserves special praise: professional, attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. You truly feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. One important tip: a reservation is highly recommended. The restaurant is very popular – and for good reason. I strongly advise booking in advance to make sure you don’t miss this exceptional dining experience. Miód Malina is one of those places that stays with you long after you leave Kraków.

We had a wonderful experience at Miod Malina restaurant. The service was excellent the waitress was very kind, friendly, and professional (I don't know her name, but she was a medium-height blonde lady). We had a table for three, and the service truly deserves 5 stars. The food was outstanding, fresh, and beautifully prepared. A special mention goes to the apple pancakes absolutely delicious! Big compliments to lady number 2 in the kitchen, amazing job in Well done to the whole team, thank you for a great experience. We will definitely be back!

We regularly visit the beautiful Miod Molina when in Krakow. Definitely book a table, as it's much in demand. The food is very well priced for its quality and it also looks stunning. The food was excellent (especially the cauliflower!) and the team very welcoming - particularly Sebastian who was very helpful with recommendations for my daughter. We have been many times to the above restaurant and will return .

We had an amazing dinner at Miód Malina in Kraków, and it quickly became one of the most memorable dining experiences of our trip. First of all, the atmosphere was absolutely stunning. We visited during the Christmas season, and the festive decorations made the restaurant feel warm, cozy, and genuinely magical. The lights, the details, and the overall ambience created the perfect setting for a special evening—inviting, intimate, and full of that holiday charm that makes you want to slow down and enjoy every moment. The service also deserves real praise. We were a group of nine people, and yet the staff welcomed us with such kindness and professionalism. Everyone was extremely polite, patient, and attentive—always available, always ready to help, and genuinely focused on making sure we had everything we needed. Even with a larger group (and all the small requests that naturally come with it), the service remained smooth, friendly, and reassuring from start to finish. That warm welcome made a big difference and instantly made us feel comfortable. But the true highlight—the real “diamond”—was the food. The cuisine at Miód Malina is something special: unique, carefully crafted, and full of incredible flavors. You can taste the love and attention behind every dish, from the quality of the ingredients to the balance of the seasonings and the perfect cooking. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, refined, and honestly of a very high standard. A special mention absolutely goes to the pierogi—without exaggeration, the best we tried in the city. Soft, flavorful, and perfectly made, they are an absolute must-order. If you visit Miód Malina, do yourself a favor and try them—you will not regret it. We would wholeheartedly recommend Miód Malina to anyone visiting Kraków, especially if you want a cozy, festive atmosphere paired with outstanding Polish cuisine. It’s the kind of place you’ll remember long after the trip ends.

Google
I’d give this place more than 5 stars if I could as it stands out compared to some good restaurants I’ve been. Food was exceptional, the soup served in bread had a very strong taste, the potato waffle dish was well balanced and the pierogi were delicious. The waiter was very well educated and pleasant to deal with along with an ambience that makes you feel at home for some reason. One thing is that I wouldn’t have seen this restaurant by just walking past. It was a Polish friend of ours that suggested it and we made it there, in fact it wasn’t full of tourists. I’d suggest having some signs on the glass windows as the restaurant logo isn’t so visible from the street. I’ll definitely visit again!

We been to this restaurant 10 years ago and it was a must to re visit this gem. The menu is different of course 😋 haha. The food we ordered was great, service was good too. Overall enjoyed our lunch.

Google
The service was deplorable during our visit on November 8th. At first entrance when we got sited we were already wondering if we should leave. We were four, there were 2 tables booked for 4, and when we asked for have the other table of 4, the waitress replied in an unpleasant way that we couldn’t. It took ages to order and decades to pay. The food was good, but overall experience mid.

Google
The food and its presentation, the atmosphere, the service- everything was perfect. Really a nice classy restaurant with tasty food. Absolutely a must if you are in Kraków. The only thing you need to book a table in advance, at least one day before your dinner. They are usually fully booked

Yelp
Why doesn't Yelp have more than 5 stars? I didn't think I had another Polish meal in me but I was wrong. Miod Malina isn't your typical pirogie, potato pancake etc. meal. This is a wonderful dining experience. Explore the menu, listen to your server and get ready for what will surely be one of your finest win Krakow.

Yelp
We have been here twice. Once during our first visit it was late in the evening and it was very crowded. We were able to be seated, despite the large crowds. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. The recommendations for food and wine were excellent and our entire 4-person party all enjoyed their meals. The second time we came we had our dogs with us. The waitstaff asked management if we could bring our dogs in. They agreed, as it was not busy during that daytime (around Noon). We sat in the front, near the door and had a pleasant experience again. Overall excellent staff, beautiful people, and great service again. The waitstaff spoke English and were helpful again with helping our friend with certain allergies, select a meal that she could enjoy. Again, wine recommendations were excellent paired with the meal of choice. Our 3-party person enjoyed the meals and the dogs remained steady. We appreciated this business very much and look forward to a third visit very very soon!

Yelp
Located in the heart of the Old Town, we enjoyed our dinner here. Was service friendly? Absolutely not, but we were a group so I understand the frustration. The food and drink were delicious! The white wine was refreshing for a hot June evening. The fettuccine with mushrooms in a cream sauce was filling and satisfying. To start, the meat dumplings in beet soup was amazing. The broth was unreal. (Though, note that's different from borscht in other countries as it's just broth and dumplings v. veggies like carrots and onion.) The cheesecake for dessert came with a little dab of chocolate fudge and raspberries, pairing nicely.

Yelp
Excellent meal in Krakow, suggested by our hotel concierge. Enthusiastically recommend.

Yelp
A must visit in Krakow! Food and service were most excellent! Both of the servers, Borgdon and Marcello, are some of the nicest, genuine, and most personal people you will ever meet. We came both days we were in Krakow! For traditional Polish dishes we loved the fermented rye soup in a bread bowl and the fried pancake with very tender beef.

Yelp
This venue is undoubtedly one of the best dining experiences we had in Kraków. Just a stone's throw from the UNESCO-recognized downtown, it offers authentic Polish cuisine in a charming setting. The staff is courteous, and while it's not the most budget-friendly option, the quality is exceptional. Both the żurek in bread and potato pancakes with hunter stew were outstanding, but the pierogis are arguably the best in town--which is saying something. This place is a must-try!

Yelp
So we were recommended to go here by our hotel, we tried several other restaurants but for a Saturday night everyone was busy, we were able to get a table here and we are so glad we did, our waiter was Jacob and he was attentive and helpful with everything, the food amazing, I wasn't sure exactly what to order but the pierogi potato pancakes were some of the most delicious meals I've had here in Krakow. Excellent, please give this place a chance . The atmosphere was nice and a great list of drinks.

Yelp
THAT TRADITIONAL POLISH SOUP THOUGH! ugh so very good. It surprised me in all the best possible ways! Crusty warm bread bowl filled with polish sausage and a boiled egg. I was planning a progressive dinner but decided to stay put and have dinner here as well! A GOOD MOVE! The atmosphere was very lovely, I was tucked away in cozy corner with a window view of the bustling streets. Ideal! The server offered wonderful recommendations and was very friendly.

Yelp
Classic Polish Cuisine (and classically slow service) This is about as classic as polish cuisine gets - right up to the zurek that comes in a hollowed out loaf of bread. Don't let that mistle you though - the food is really quite good, with flavors that are spot on (the afore-mentioned zurek is *excellent*, as is, well, everything. The only thing holding the place back is the spectacularly slow service - but hey, if you have enough beer, that's ok too

Yelp
Recommended by our guide, this restaurant is a treasure. Well located, friendly and efficient staff, and wonderful food. We had the beet soup with dumplings, goat cheese and pear, duck confit, beef tenderloin with gnocchi, and apple pancakes. All were well prepared and much appreciated.

Yelp
Perfect atmosphere and service. Loved the potato pancakes with meat goulash and the bigos was our favorite.

Yelp
This place was recommended by our awesome chauffeur. It's about a block off the square and not as touristy as the ones there. It will offer the same type of Polish fare, but we felt there were more choices here. One thing to note: -You will have to ask for every thing. A nice "przepraszam" with a smile goes a long way to getting good service. It's not that they don't want to give you service, they don't want to disturb you. When you're ready to order, want more woda, take the bill, etc., just ask. - they may require a reservation. Or just eat fast and get out. Things to order: - Beetroot soup with dumplings. OMG so good! - cabbage rolls ( comes with 2. If you like Cajun boudin, this is its sister) - Deer loin with cherries and mushrooms. It's 4 chunks of deer steak. Yum. - the pretzel was like a pretzel meat sandwich. Pretty heavy food. - Apple pancakes, it's like heavenly freshly made fritters. Mmm... - Tatanka. It's off menu, but it's Żubrówka with apple juice. The waitress will know. :)

Yelp
One of the finer restaurants in the city center. The servers are so friendly and speak english. You can sit inside or outside. Menu offers polish and Italian dishes. It is not a cheap meal but is amazing. The Italian wine list also hit the spot.

Yelp
Great restaurant! My family was looking for brunch and spotted this place in Old Town. We tried a selection of their breakfast items and really liked their fluffy pancakes with sour cream and apple pie pancake. Also the price was very reasonable! Each breakfast meal was between $5-7 CAD and included a drink.

Yelp
MIod Molina is one of my fav restaurants in Krakow. The combination of great atmosphere, good food and people serving it is key for me and they offer all of this. Well deserved 4 stars and a recommendation for people visiting Krakwow. I recommend making a reservation as it is often fully booked.

Yelp
I came here for the stuffed cabbage, and it was delicious! I had to wait quite a while for the food, but I'm pretty sure they made it fresh and had to bake it freshly too. The tomato sauce was quite delicious and the food was quite filling. The inside was full of meat and rice, and I wish there was a bit more tomato sauce than there was. Very delicious nonetheless! The seating inside is a bit fancy-looking and they have outdoor seating as well. Would recommend, it's near the Old Town so very accessible to anywhere you're going!

Yelp
I just so happen to wander by this restaurant while I was looking for a nice place to get dinner. When I walked in, I was told I needed a reservation, but since I was dining solo, I got a table in 15 minutes. The service was great, and the food arrived quickly. The only downside was waiting for the check, it took at least 20 minutes before I had to remind the waitress. I had the stuffed dumplings and mushroom soup. Both dishes were delicious! Great vegetarian options for someone like myself. I also had the Trebbiano white wine, fantastic!
google avatar

Devin S.

Yelp
My polish friend ordered some mushroom soup which she said was bland and and lacked real mushrooms. I ordered the duck, which was over cooked, and very bland as well. The tuna appetizer was the only thing that was good. The prices are extreme for Krakow considering it is in a high tourist area, but definitely the food was not on par with the price.

Yelp
We wandered in around 6pm and were happy to get a table. We started with pierogies and caprese salad (very good!) Soon thereafter we were presented with bread, fresh from the wood-fired oven. For dinner we ordered the potato pancake with meat stew and a sauerkraut dish. Both were very well prepared and of ample size. We left without getting dessert as we were both stuffed. The only drawback was speed of service, we seemed to wait FOREVER for our check and had to ask for it multiple times.

Yelp
Pretty OK. I could also give this 4 stars but the ambiance was a bit missing. Too many English business people. But it was a Saturday lunchtime. I had the fried sheep cheese salad which was tasty and fresh. Then the duck which was pretty tender and nice with a side of cooked red beets. Overall a very pleasant lunch.

Yelp
Delicious restaurant! I ordered the pancakes with mushroom sauce, my husband ordered a delicious meat, an the apple pie was amazing! I highly recommend this place! It is one of the best dinners we had in krakow. The restaurant is really lovely! Great ambience, and very charming!!!

Yelp
First time in Krakow and not familiar with polish cuisine but I do know what a steak is supposed to taste like and this place did a horrible job. My sister ordered ribs and she was equally unhappy with the food. The service was very slow which is not a big deal as long the food is great or least tolerable but this place is not it. Save your money and go somewhere else.
google avatar

K. D.

Yelp
Cute restaurant and food was tasty. Service is slow, but not due to laziness, the wait staff was running around like crazy, just very busy. I had the perogies which they did a half order for me which I appreciated. Then I had the chicken, little dry but tasty. To finish off had the Apple pancake, which was to die for! Had to force myself to stop eating it!
google avatar

Magda V.

Yelp
The most enjoyable food in Krakow. They try to make dishes more creative and try to branch out a bit of the typical culinary experience. The waitresses have an attitude of superiority, almost as if they are doing one a huge favor but if one can overlook it, the dining experience can be pleasant
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
The food was absolutely top rate and the atmosphere was nice. We had a beet root soup that was nice followed by a goat cheese salad with pear, walnuts, and greens that was exceptional. That was followed by a truly wonderful cherry venison dish, and an excellent apple crisp for desert. Be sure to add potatoes and vegetables as they must be ordered separately. The staff speaks good English and provided excellent service.

Yelp
Really nice Polish food in an upscale yet comfortable environment. Pierogi are great. I do not like beets, but the beet soup with dumplings here was amazing and caused me to re-think my position on this controversial vegetable.

Yelp
We knew what we were getting into. Menus are in English, it's right next to the big touristy square, and yet, we just couldn't help ourselves. Therefore, we totally deserved this. It wasn't ALL bad - the server got a part of our orders wrong, and forgot our drinks until we reminded him, but he was really quite nice. The cabbage roll appetizer was ok. The lamb chops I had were horribly overcooked - I couldn't even eat them. I walked out hungry. At least there was wine.

Yelp
Touristy and polish by concept the food was ok and the service good. Nice courtyard.

Yelp
recently i visited this place hoping for a good polish food i haven't had for a while but zurek wasn't really what i have been used to and pierogi ruskie were made in a kind of sweet way. apart from that a bit overpriced for what you get.
