Reception staff were exceptionally polite & helpful, specially Alaa & Alaa. The hotel facility is using an old ottoman house which has been renovated as a hotel. The view informs of the hotel looked amazing. It’s a highly recommended hotel when staying in Al Chouf… would definitely come back.

The buffet was very limited with almost no variety, and the service was slow — waiting nearly 10 minutes to get food. The shisha wasn’t good either, and overall the experience felt overpriced for what was offered. The only real highlight is the location and atmosphere, which are beautiful. Aside from that, the food, service, and value were disappointing.

Our first visit here and it will absolutely be the last. Service was a disaster from start to finish. We waited 15 minutes just for an empty table to be cleaned, only to receive an incomplete order. The missing items still showed up on the bill, which is unacceptable. On top of that, one of the older staff members was extremely rude and acted like he didn’t care at all about customers. During the meal, nobody bothered to check on us or clean the table, and when we asked for wet wipes, they never arrived. This place is completely unprofessional, careless, and not worth anyone’s time or money.

We had lunch today Sunday 6 July 2025, at the Mir Ameen restaurant. The food, the service and the setting was excellent. The buffet was beautifully decorated and arranged. The quality was very good. In summary the place is highly recommended.

The hotel is located in Beit Eddine village in the Chouf area at about 900 meters above sea level. It has an amazing spot that provides panoramic views to the sea. This also ensures a great weather in spring and autumn, but most of all fresh clean air. Great for weekend escape from the city’s air and noise pollution!

For a restaurant that claims to be 5 stars my partner and I were disappointed. The table mat was not ironed and the whole set up looked like it was done in a hurry. When asked, the waiter replied that they had a long day. Not an excuse. Regarding the food, we ordered a margarita and pasta Bolognese, I would say it was acceptable but definitely not 5 starts material. The items on menu were overpriced. $16 for a glass of prosecco. The fans were loud and the people in the pool were very loud. The DJ remembered to put some music and hours later from our arrival. The water bottle was at room temperature although it was super hot and you would expect to be served cold water. Sears are not comfortable. Overall will not be coming back and do not recommend.
