After being quickly turned away at two other wineries for lunch (when they were not even close to full), we were warmly greeting promptly by Manager Elizabeth and she was able to accommodate our party across two tables on the patio. Elizabeth, Server Alexa and team took exceptional care of us - sharing information on the menu and wines, and making us feel VERY welcome, even though we were a last minute reservation. We started with cocktails, bubbles and delicious appetizers, followed by a delicious bottle of reserve Cabernet Franc from Tinhorn, pizzas, pastas and the pork chop. We ended with the chocolate budino, tiramisu and affagotos. Thank you to your team for the excellent service and food, and not quickly "dismissing" our large party as happened at other close by places. We will be very happy to recommend your restaurant and winery to others visiting the area!

Excellent spot! Great food! Friendly staff! Top-notch service! Option-filled menu. Great view from balcony! Tried it for first time for lunch on Friday of Thanksgiving Weekend 2025. Will be back! Compliments to the Chef! (Who happens to be the owner.)

Amazing spot for eats with a beautiful view. We came here for lunch before a tasting at Tinhorn and it really hit the spot! We got the Pancetta Pizza and the Black Pepper Carbonara—both so so so good. They were super kind to split our pasta into 2 as well. We'll definitely be back. :)

Google
Mirado is a fantastic spot, and in my opinion, one of the best places to eat in Oliver. The patio is brilliant, with beautiful views, so definitely try to sit outside if you can. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and despite the place being busy when we went, the food came out surprisingly quickly. I ordered the spicy pizza, which I’d say is the best pizza on the menu. The flavour was excellent, and while I usually enjoy eating the crust, I did find it a bit too chewy at this place. That said, the pizza overall was very good, and the experience more than made up for it. If you’re in Oliver, Mirado is well worth a visit, great atmosphere, good food, and an unbeatable setting.

Have dined here mutliple times and never been disappointed. Chef Jeff and his crew make for a great dining experiences. Their event dinners as well as their own house menu are filled with unusual and delicious dishes. I can always expect the best when I visit! EDIT: Just came back from my birthday dinner. Exquisite. Photos below. Oysters and bubbly, Gazpacho style soup, Pancetta pizza, A Spansh style cheesecake for dessert, Reserve Vab Save is superb. Had a Spanish coffee with dessert. Many thanks, gang.

Google
Generous portions in a beautiful setting and the food was good. The pizza was the highlight. The one bummer was that bottles of wine to drink was at a restaurant price, rather than the winery bottle price. And also sadly no EV charging opportunities on the entire property.

Google
My wife and I went for a vacation dinner. We got the table with the most remarkable veiw in the restaurant. My wife had the Carbonara, I had the pork Chop with Speck Risotto. Absolutely sensational. The service was attentive and friendly. The vintage wine was sublime. I would recommend Miradoro for a truly upscale experience.

Google
The food has improved from my last visit but still needs work. Mushroom pasta was over seasoned and needed more mushrooms. Bolognese was heavy on the nutmeg which reminded me more of greek pasticio. Salmon was good great but needed more seasoning. Gelato and sorbet very good. Service was nice and the view never fails to impress.

Yelp
We had a seat outside with a gorgeous view. It was a bit windy and cold but they did what they could to make people comfortable, including heaters and blankets. Service was slow to start as it seemed a lot of the groups were paying up all at once but once we had our orders taken everything was speedy. We shared their charcuterie board and I had the black pepper carbonara, which was as if carbonara and cacio e pepe had a baby and was delicious. The biggest surprise was when I ordered a wine flight and was essentially brought out three full glasses! We had a good laugh but don't worry, I definitely finished them all.

Yelp
Fantastic food!!! We got the funghi pizza and seasonal pizza to split as well as the grilled cheese and beet salad. All of the food was fantastic but oh my gosh the grilled cheese I think was one of the best we've ever had! The bread was perfect, there were crispy onion flakes and a jam - it made it like a monte cristo. The balcony and view was fantastic as well. Service was great esp since they had blankets for all of us since it was slightly cold. We were able to do a flight of wine which was great. Absolutely would come back next time!

Yelp
Great spot view of valley was amazing and a great spot to watch sunset. They were having a concert outside as part of the ir concert series, made it for a perfect night. The food was delicious as well, great portions and great service. Highly recommend this spot

Yelp
Okay for this area. Mixed up our reservation with another Asian party with similar last names, but not the end of the world. Sat outside since there was going to be another wait for an indoor table. they do have a heater so that works and offer blankets (watch out for blankets, one of them was stained dried with some pasta sauce). The view was pretty spectacular. The bread was flaccid. (Friend at the table states, "It was like wonder bread than the typical crusty robust bread you serve with oil and vinegar dish), except they used white vinegar instead of balsamic vinegar. No salt and pepper on the table. Similar to a wet blanket) Meatball- friend ordered. Octopus carpaccio- Don't. All you can taste is olive oil and fishiness of the octopus with some type of mayo. Didn't taste fresh. Would NOT order again. Waitress was able to swap it out with the duck pate which was very good. Would order again. Special soup (green soup with chirrizo)- friend ordered. He finished it, so good? Would order again. funghi pizza- friend ordered, woodoven, good. It was jam packed with mushrooms. Would order again. margherita pizza- woodoven, yum! I noticed how each ingredient was laid very attentively. Good job pizza maker! Can't go wrong with a Margherita, this is safe! Would order again. Duck entree- I was blown away by the crispiness of the skin and the flavor of the duck. I really liked it because it had the very, very toasted skin, some would've said it was a bit over toasted. The rub on this was fantastic. Inner meat towards the bone was good, more towards the skin was dry. But still surprised and would order again. olive appetizer- warmed, just not the usual cold, so it was different but good. Plot temprillo bottle- excellent wine, would order again. Sangria- No. Non existent. Wasn't on the menu, thought I'd ask the waitress, she said they had it (both white and red) then disappointed my friend. They use to have it but they do not anymore. Cod- friend ordered, he finished it, so good? Dessert- The chocolate peanut butter one. If you like peanut butter, you'll love this. The sorbet/gelato- lemon was strong but good palate cleanser. I enjoyed this. salted caramel is great. peach was okay.

Yelp
Have been here a few times. Mostly for lunch, the pizza is excellent. We went for dinner last night and loved it. I had the shrimp pasta, my husband had the flank steak. I loved the pasta and my husband couldn't stop raving about the steak! Throw in great service and incredible views, great night out.

Yelp
We absolutely love this place and look forward to the attention and care the wait staff and chef out into the quality that speaks for itself!

Yelp
Fantastic lunch. The setting is absolutely stunning. The service was great. The food was great. And of course, the wine was great. My only comment would be there is nothing really light on the menu if you are a light eater. However with that said, they had no issues at all with us sharing a salad (they even plated it separately) and a pizza. The pizza was absolutely divine (actually, the salad was too). We would highly recommend and will definetly go back.

Yelp
I was out of town and unable to my Mother's 60th birthday, but I knew that she had a reservation at Miradoro for her birthday with my sister. I called the restaurant in advance and asked them to pull out all the stops, have a great table ready for them with sparkling wine on ice waiting. Melissa and the team at Miradoro did an amazing job making her 60th birthday one that she'll never forget. My Mom was so surprised, and still has not stopped talking about how great the entire experience of the dinner was: excellent food, wine, and service across the board. Cannot thank you enough Melissa and team!

Yelp
Wow, what a disappointment! There's nothing fresh or natural about this menu. All you have to try to do is guess if the food was delivered by Sysco or Gordon's?? Home of the 21$ grill cheese sandwich which was a thinly sliced process cheese on whole grain bread. The duck pate had a consistency of a Dairy Queen soft serve and clearly the meatballs were just filler or who knows what but not beef. How a chef could attach his name to this menu is beyond me. Sorry for the bad review but this is pub food with a flare, at best. You're an "executive chef" with all the resources in the valley, use them. Miradoro is stuck with serving the tourist and not taking advantage of their lease attached to tin horn and serving good food from steps to the right and left of the property.

Yelp
I was here a few years ago. Had an amazing meal. Always loves the marinated olives. So my friends and I came just for that. None of us were disappointed. We only had olives but everything on the menu is delicious. Must try. Also the view is insane.

Yelp
Miradoro Restaurant at Tinhorn Creek is a picturesque restaurant with stunning views serving a locally sourced Mediterranean inspired menu. If the weather is nice, be sure to reserve a spot on their patio.

Yelp
This was my 2nd time dining at this restaurant as I enjoyed the pizza so much last year as we stopped during our wine tasting tour, I booked it again. This is at the Tinhorn Creek winery and the views are spectacular. This year, I had it booked for dinner but had a bit of an issue when we stopped for an Indian lunch after our wine tour tastings, we had to reschedule it for lunch the next day before our long drive back to Vancouver. I ordered the pizza funghi which is so delicious because of the caramelized onions, I craved to have it again. It paired nicely with oldfield Merlot. My friend had the pizza diavolo and added extra cheese but she felt it was not cheesy enough. She paired it with glasses of Gray Monk Odyssey Brut. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area as their mushroom pizza is very tasty!

Yelp
We both give the Service, Ambiance & Food a 10. Beyond a doubt the best dinning experience we've had in months.

Yelp
I'm so glad we dined at Miradoro. I was amazed by the view, and the food was delicious. The staff was also very friendly and informative. We checked in, and our host walked us to our table. I would say we got the best seat on the patio (see photos). We ordered a few things such as: charcuterie plate, grilled fraser valley pork chop, and a pasta feature? (i can't remember). My favourite was the grilled pork chop, it was tender, juicy, and well balanced. The pasta was ok it was a bit drier than I would prefer, I wish there was more sauce but the texture of the pasta was good. It had a good bite and chew. The charcuterie plate was a good introduction to our meal, and offered a selection of salty and sweet. We finished our meal with a basque cheese cake and tiramisu. I preferred the basque cheesecake over the tiramisu, it was more special and I loved the creaminess and how dense the cake was. The ambience is definitely five stars and the food was good. Definitely a place to impress a date, or to have special occasions. If you're driving up, I would recommend coming here just to try, and see how you like it.

Yelp
This is a must try if your in Osoyoos. Chef's daily soup with the Pancetta pizza. I was on the Wine Tour so didn't order any wine for my meal. The view was fantastic, paired with a nice meal. Soup was great and not over powering with spices. Pizza was thin crust and cooked in a brick oven. Would recommend if your in Osoyoos.

Yelp
Okanagen winery restaurants 1st of 3 Set overlooking the beautiful Tinhorn Creek vineyard, Midadoro is a fairly fancy winery restaurant with some Mediterranean flair. The menu is divided in to apps and mains for dinner so let's begin. Started with albondigas, a kinda Spanish meatball, in a savoury tomato sauce with Parmesan and arugula. They were incredible! Moist and flavour packed little balls of heaven. For the 19 dollar price tag attached they'd better be, and they were. The GF on the other hand was not nearly as impressed with her baby kale Caesar salad. It was so unbelievably under dressed she couldn't believe it. The only Caesar dressing was a pathetic little swoosh off to the side of the plate, hardly enough to add any flavour whatsoever. It just ate incredibly dry, she sent it back. Yikes Mains were both excellent! I had a steak that would rival any piece of moo you would get in Alberta. With confit potatoes and a red Russian butter sauce to tie everything together perfectly.. absolutely tremendous! The lady had the gnocchi with peas, scallions, garlic scapes, and wild mushrooms. She enjoyed it thoroughly! We then came to dessert, tough to go wrong with a classic tiramisu...or so we thought. I consider myself a bit of tiramisu connoisseur and this was the absolute worst I've ever had. I've crushed a few places on Tiramisu before, but this was epically brutal. Just mush, no flavour, and enough powdered coco on top to make you literally choke. I conveyed this to the waitress but seeing as she already took the salad off the bill she must not have felt taking the dessert off as well was warranted. Oh well The wine list is incredible at Tinhorn Creek. As a member of their wine club I get 3 shipments of their amazing vino a year and always look forward to that box landing at my door. High recommendation on the Oilfield Syrah...if you like a giant robust red, this is the wine for you. All in all pretty good, but the staggering fail on 2 of our 5 dishes along with the price you're gonna pay to eat there drove the star count down to a 3 for us. Probably would go again, seeing as I get to do wine tastings for free, otherwise I wouldn't go back.. Cheers Andy

Yelp
We've been to Miradoro a few times in the past and had great experiences, but definitely not this time! We understand COVID but our experience had nothing to do with that. We had reservations for our anniversary specifically on the patio. We arrived and were instead seated by the manager, at an awkward table inside, sort of facing outside. We were told that when "our" table was available we would be moved...no mention of timing. The waitress then gave us less than a minute with the menus for drinks...we hadn't decided yet so she said she'd "give us a few minutes". 15 minutes later we had to flag down the manager to put our drink order in! When I tried to tell him about the lack of service he talked over me...until I told him to let me finish! The waitress then came by, my wife told her we already put our drink order in...she goes "with me"?! WTF?! Nooo, you dufus!! G-d! They finally moved us outside...service changed with a new waitress and it was great. Appies were amazing but both mains were sub-par (except my pork chop which I specifically asked to cook medium which they did). My wife's pasta was bland and my polenta was terrible. We definitely won't be back!

Yelp
Beautiful setting and huge pasta portions. Excellent service and staff! We went on Canada day and there were no taxis available to take us home, a member of staff Sam offered to drive us home! What a legend. It's remote - I wouldn't go without a designated driver. Our night would've been ruined if it wasn't for Sam saving the day!

Yelp
For a delicious lunch with one of the best views that Okanagan has to offer try the patio at Miradoro. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and give our choice of table on the patio. You can't really go wrong sitting anywhere on this patio. The decor is higher end but sitting on the patio I didn't get to fully appreciate all the details that has gone into designing this space. I started off with a glass of Merlot which was a good pair for the House Salad which was one of the best salads I have tasted in years. It came with slices of Ham, blue cheese and pickled rhubarb, a winning combination. I then ordered the Margarita pizza and added Prosciutto to it. The dough was cooked to perfection and reminded of delicious Neapolitan pizzas I have enjoyed while visiting Italy. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants in BC and I'll be back for sure on my next visit!

Yelp
Had both lunch and dinner here on the same day. Lunch was good with the feature soup (cauliflower purée) and the pancetta pizza. Dinner, however, missed the mark with the fried chicken entree. As pretty as it seemed, the "fish-stick-style" breading was disappointingly bad. And I'm not trying to be mean here, but how does a high end winery restaurant such as this try to serve a dish with a shake-n-bake style crust on this chicken? On top of that, all the vegetable accompaniments on the dish were unnecessarily pickled. Maybe keep the pickles but the carrots would have been better as roasted, in my opinion. I was heavily disappointed to pay $29 for this dish. Miradoro, if you're reading this, please consider using a good buttermilk fried chicken over this concoction. I do not recommend this dish. Besides the food, their 2012 Pinot Noir was quite nice, the view and ambience is wonderful and the staff was very attentive.

Yelp
This was one of our favourite gems that we discovered on our first trip to the Osoyoos/Oliver region. On this trip, we made sure to include it as one of our lunch stops. As expected, they didn't disappoint! I had their chef's special two-course meal. The soup was delicious, but the pizza (fennel-chorizo) was par with what I can have locally in Vancouver. However, the true revelation was their risotto verde! It was light and refreshing, unlike any risotto we've had before. The green starch was paired with bright beet slices and candied walnuts. So delicious! If you are in the region, be sure to make a stop at Tinhorn Creek vineyards and take a meal at Miradoro! We know we will! PS. The chef used to work at Diva at the Met. Strong credentials backed by the food.

Yelp
We ate here as the last portion of a tour of the complete vinyard facilities as a possible location for our wedding, and while the tour of the event venue and the initial impression of the restaurant were very nice, the service and meal were underwhelming to say the least. I had the vegetarian lasagna, and it was extremely bland. It's not uncommon for vegetarian options out here to be lackluster, and this place is no exception. Worse, though my fiancee's fishcake came having been baked in the plastic wrap that held it together, and she almost choked on it. We complained, and the same staff member who took us on our facility tour took care of replacing it, but at the end of the meal they tried to charge us full price for their mistake. She told us it was merely a mistake, but I watched her pucnh everything in and print out the bill... They were not busy enough to have been confused for another table, so I'm pretty sure she was planning on not comping us for their mistake. Again, this is all after they knew we were potential clients looking to spend thousands beyond our mere dinner tab. Incredibly terrible service for mediocre food. Ya blew it, Tinhorn!
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
Two attempts to visit the winery and the Miradoro Restaurant were stymied this visit to the Okanagan by a full parking lot and limited space for winery guests. We were one of ten cars that came and were unable to park (on a Wednesday and Thursday) both times, so you do the math at the customers that are unable to come and taste wine here at Tinhorn Creek. Its nice to have the option to turn away customers I suppose, but if I ran this business, I'd be more than a little upset imagining all the potential customers that circle the parking lot each visit only to not eat lunch or purchase a bottle or perhaps a case, and potentially never return. Lots of lost business. Perhaps time to expand the parking lot? Provide overflow parking? Have employees out to direct and advise restaurant customers who come all this way with reservations to other options, rather than ignoring their plight in the parking lot and assuming they were a no-show?
google avatar

Winnie H.

Yelp
We were a party of 8 (4 adults and 4 children), and wanted to try Tinhorn because of previous friends recommendations. If you like to wait an hour and 45 minutes for your food and poor service then this is the place for you. We ordered a couple bottles of wines some appies and dinners for everyone, even the olives appetizers we ordered took over an hour. The food was okay but the wait and the service turned us off from ever wanting to return this place. After waiting nearly 90 minutes for our food we asked the waitress what was going on and that it's been over an hour and half she smiled and said she would send over the manager, who never came!!!! The food came about 15 minutes after that, after the dinner the waitress offered if the kids would like some ice cream... knowing that we were obviously not happy with the service we thought maybe she was offering as a sorry gesture for the kids, so we said yes to the ice cream, only to realize she charged for all 4 ice creams for the kids!!!! I rarely ever write any reviews but this one experience was awful, I get some restaurants could get busy and take longer, but we only ask for an apology or even a heads up so we could have ordered more appies to hold us over till dinner. We were extremely disappointed that we were told the manager will come twice, and he didn't even show up to say sorry. When you spend 400$ on a dinner you would expect some sort of service or sincere apology if things don't go right. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, and our experience was so bad we don't even know if we would try any other winery restaurants period

Yelp
Incredible view, amazing food, lots of wine, and delightful servers. It doesn't get any better than this for me! We always request the corner table on the patio; it gives you the best unobstructed view which is stunning come sunset. The food is consistently amazing and the menu is always changing depending on the season. I have been here many times, and will continue to come here every time I'm in the Okanagan. I've never had a problem with service -- in fact, I would say its some of the best I've experienced: prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The prices are not unreasonable, especially when you consider that they source most of their ingredients from local suppliers, and make everything else in-house from scratch. Try Miradoro and let the food and the experience speak for itself. It's worth every penny!

Yelp
Yet another wonderful wild boar pasta with arugula and a cab franc! Excellent service! Great food! Perfect Holiday!

Yelp
This place was atrocious.. we waited over 1.5 hour for a simple sandwich which they then ended up screwing up. The sandwich , the bread was burnt. The meat was average. Nothing memorable other than the wait. Felt sorry for the waitress she was friendly but no idea why we had to wait...

Yelp
Tinhorn Creek is an attraction. It has an amazing view, you can do a self-guided tour, and it has a large tasting room. If you are (or are hosting people who are) more tourists than serious wine snobs, this is a great choice. There is a lot going on here besides just tasting and buying wine. A feature vineyard with well-labeled examples of many different grape vines is located just outside the tasting room. Outside they have also gone to the trouble of placing informative plaques around with all sorts of interesting information about the area's nature. The wine here is produced at a higher volume than many of its smaller neighbours. It is kept at an accessible price point (most whites and reds under $20). If you can get your hands on their fairly-priced Kerner Ice Wine ($25), consider yourself lucky! It is some of the most affordable dessert wine on the market.

Yelp
I give tgec4 stars because of the location and staff. Beautiful grounds and scenery. The waiters were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We just weren't impressed taste wise with the food. We had four different plates and not one person was impressed. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad just blah. So the food in my view is a 3.

Yelp
We were back again last night, our third time in 3 years. Great food, excellent service. And a restaurant only exclusive Tinhorn Creek white Pinot Noir was outstanding.

Yelp
Only come to this restaurant if you are a masochist that wants to undergo obnoxiously rude treatment from the managers. We were the ONLY table in the restaurant between the lunch and dinner rush. Literally the only table. I was showing my friends a video on my phone, literally 10 seconds in the manager informed me in front of my friends that it was "poor etiquette" in the most snobby tone. We were the only table there! Bothering literally no one! You know what's poor etiquette? Informing your guests of poor etiquette. I approached the manager privately afterwards to explain to her my disbelief and displeasure of her rudeness. When I turned to leave, her and the other manager made rude hand gestures behind my back (witnessed by my friend). Unbelievable! One of the friends I was dining with also told me that she had been there a couple of weeks prior for a meal. During that service, her server was eating a meal with her family on the restaurant floor while also serving them. Talk about unprofessional for such a "high class" restaurant! The hypocrisy is overwhelming. Anyways, we ordered the pizza and chicken wings, both were, to be fair, well cooked and flavourful - but WAY overpriced for what they were. I would have gotten more enjoyment getting a takeout pizza, than having to deal with the rude staff. This restaurant seems to think pretty highly of itself... Between the snooty staff and the overpriced food. Definitely will not be returning, ever. Highly recommend you enjoy a meal at one of the MANY other restaurants/wineries close by than encourage the BS at Miradoro.

Yelp
Appetizers were delicious, very flavourful. The host was a bit rude upon entry and seemed absent minded and uninterested. Entrees had beautiful presentation but seriously lacked seasoning. Was excited to try the gnocchi which looked gorgeous but completely lacked flavour.. did they forget to add salt? Used to be our favourite place, probably won't return.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place and maybe we just ordered wrong, but I hate thinking that was what happened. We pre-booked and got the best table, which being birthday celebration made the meal. I had the halibut, cooked perfectly, it was with braccias (broccoli and cauliflower) which i assumed would be done in some fancy way, but they were just steamed and all on a tomato squash puree. My meal wasn't bad, but when you're in a region that's known for its' produce it could have been sooo much more. My boyfriend had the chicken with something and buttermilk. Again, cooked perfectly but i can't recall the vegetables as they were so forgettable. People beside us ordered pizza and they looked Italy worthy. I think that they should focus on pizza/pasta and not on fancy as that's where they seem to excel. Our waitress and the overall service was 5 star worthy, but the food not so much.
google avatar

Jannie N.

Yelp
This place is a pearl in these amazing surroundings! The food is well prepared, classy and the service is very friendly, (a rare feature in small towns!) and Tinhorn Creek wine is also delicious. The view over the vineyards makes it a favorite place for lunch and dinner. (Their roasted olives are simply amazing!!)

Ola M.

Yelp
This place was recommended to us by family friends and this was our first time there. The place is beautiful and looks elegant inside. The girls who greater us seemed odd: she asked us if we have reservations as we looked at her and an empty restaurant and half full deck. Looking back on it, she was out of it most of the time, but we didn't let that take away from the views, the food, and the wine. Prices are high. My husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs and the price was $24. I had margarita pizza. The food was delicious. The atmosphere for lunch calm and relaxing. The views are amazing. Definitely a place we will go back to each year we are in near Osoyoos.

Yelp
We ordered the charcuterie board, tuna to não and a Margherita pizza. The board was good with house cured meats and local pickled vegetables and cherry. They also brought warm bread with high quality olive oil. The tuna was delicious. Probably my favorite dish. I was a bit skeptical about the tuna ailing sauce but it tied the whole thing. Margherita pizza was really good. I have to say it was better than my Vancouver favourite place Via Tevere. The dough was fully cooked and it was crunchy and not soggy. We were there on a Tuesday and the place was pretty empty so service was on point. All that with great wine and amazing service. What's not to like? I thought the price was fair for the view and quality of food.

Yelp
This has to be my husbands and my favourite winery and restaurant in this area. Food is fabulous and the whole experience is wonderful. Staff is wonderful. And I love the out door theatre. Wish there was weekly concerts during the warm season. I would certainly go often with my family. And dine at the restaurant while there. I love the winery too. And special events. We did a Valentine's Day tasting and chocolate night with them. They had a harp player. Who was fantastic. And I don't know much about harp players. But she made the mood wonderful. And they had a great place for my kids to hang out and colour and they spoiled them with juice and chocolates. Even my kids enjoyed themselves there.

Yelp
Went here with our two young boys and the staff were very accommodating. They have a kids menu and the kids were very content with a cheese pizza and chicken strips. We had an excellent salad, pizza and pasta. surprised to see some negative comments on this board about service. The server and owners were very gracious and pleasant when we visited. Although the room makes it feel like a fine dining restaurant, the pizza and pasta are solid choice.

Yelp
Another stop on our oliver wine tour. Tin Horn was definitely one of the highlights. The staff was friendly and eager to provide free tastings and the ambience here was very relaxing. The view is beautiful and downstairs there is a garden with chairs where you can hang out, enjoy a bottle of wine and eat some cheese, crackers and such. That evening there was a concert at the outdoor amphitheater which looked like an excellent venue for a small concert (wish we could've stayed to see it!). As it was part of a number of stops on our wine tour we didn't have much time to spend but I would definitely like to return here to enjoy a bottle of wine in the garden and watch a good concert. Favourite wines at Tin Horn were the Cab Franc and the "Old Fields" Merlot.

Yelp
Not so long ago I went on a girls only road trip to Osoyoos, British Columbia. I've been to Summerland many times, but never to the South Okanagan Valley. I am still dreaming about the beautiful summer weather, blue skies and the meal we enjoyed at Miradoro Restaurant at Tinhorn Creek Winery. Miradoro and Chef Jeff Van Geest was recently handed "Best Winery and Vineyard Dining" winner of Vancouver Magazine; Miradoro topped best of BC and the best of the Okanagan Valley, beating Terrace Restaurant at Mission Hill. Miradoro Restaurant is modernly designed with floor to ceiling windows, large wrap around patio balcony with view of the lush wine and orchard valley. It was a hot and stuffy BC summer. We got the best seat in the house on the balcony to watch the sunset next to the amphitheatre. During the summer months, we highly recommend making reservations as tourist and locals flood this area. Tinhorn Creek Gewuztraminer is a refreshing classic gewurz. This medium weight gewurz is pale lemon color with flavors of rose petals, lychee, pink grapefruit, and spice. I love that it is balanced and not overdone. honey grilled quail 19: Soft tender and succulent quail flavored with hazelnut, prosciutto & cabbage cappuccio. Best paired with Oldfield Series Pinot Noir 2010. heirloom tomato & stonefruit panzanella 16: bread salad with basil, buratta, shallots, organic olive oil & mosto cotto. Best paired with Oldfield Series 2Bench White 2013. sloping hill pork belly 29: Fall of the fork pork belly with gewürztraminer glaze, chick pea fritter, apricot, jalapeño, cilantro, roasted carrots. Oldfield Series 2Bench Red 2010 forno roasted ling cod 26: puy lentils with braised greens, pine nut & raisins, garlic & bread fonduta, garlic chips. Fresh and light flakey fish and best paired with Oldfield Series 2Bench White 2013. wild boar bacon carbonara 26: spaghetti alla chitarra, black pepper, slow poached egg, arugula & parmesan. Best paired with Oldfield Series Syrah 2010. There's something about being on vacation. No matter how full you are, there is always room for dessert. olive oil & hazelnut cake 12: praline, summer fruit preserves, birch syrup, vanilla bean gelato. This was my favorite dessert. Soft sponge cake soaked with birch syrup. chocolate bundino 12: sponge toffee, blackberry, dulce de leche cream lemon crema 12: citrus mint salad & lavender sablé cookie I love that Tinhorn Creek has a top notch restaurant to match their vineyard winery. You can spend a good day here. Go a on Tinhorn Creek wine tour. Learn about their sustainable farming practices.

Yelp
The winery is excellent. You can sip your wine while overlooking the rolling hills of Oliver BC. The Winery staff were also extremely polite and accommodating. Sample some excellent wines, then take a nice walk in the exhibition vineyard out front, followed by some photos in the grassy amphitheater. Restaurant Mirodoro has an amazing view, especially sitting on the patio, and the decor is modern and clean. Food was mediocre for the price though as the flavors were not unique and portions unsatisfactory. However, that should probably change as it's still a relatively new joint. I'll definitely be visiting again this summer when I'm up in the Okanagan for my wedding.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I were on vacation through Okanagan wine country. Over six days, we visited sixty wineries. You can follow our various locations with this disclaimer. That's sixty wineries, not an exaggeration. We ended the trip with 120 bottles acquired. The closest major winery to Oliver, the furthest from Osoyoos, Tinhorn can either be a worthy climax or an early high point further wineries will struggle to measure up to. It's truly a magnificent representation of what anyone can expect if traveling to this region...and that can be as much praise as criticism. It's no secret that many of the wineries here look similar, as they all share the same off-yellow outer coat--it's like every business from Oliver to Osoyoos snagged the entire supply of Glidden's Mustard Seed exterior paint. I counted at least five wineries that share the same color or close to it, which is also why I consider these wineries part of Osoyoos rather than Oliver given the former matches much of that theme, that of an archetypal village in New Mexico. I half expected men with mariachi jackets, white ruffled shirts, red cummerbunds, and large hats playing guitars on the side of the road. I mean it's an amazing look, and Tinhorn is one of the better-looking ones, certainly the most extensive. After you've seen one period-specific custard-colored building... There's also an amphitheater and a massive wine shop. There's even a casual self-walking tour one can take including the storehouses and vineyards. However, the real high point is Miradoro, the lavish restaurant with walls of glass overlooking both the vineyards and the amphitheater. I'm jumping to the end, as after we took in the wine shop, my girlfriend and I finished with the other wineries before returning to Miradoro for dinner. The wine shop is certainly widespread, with bars on both sides of the main room. The wine itself is quite good, though not one single bottle sold me save for a nice Cabernet Franc. The décor is simple, with tan-stained wood covering every corner, though I found the entire wine shop surprisingly small given the expansive premises. Miradoro is the real jewel. With a restaurant erected on stilts, and our table wedged to the edge of the patio, my girlfriend was almost getting vertigo, as we could lean a few inches and look straight down. It's gorgeous and incredibly romantic. And the view, oh my god, if there's one place to go for the best view of vineyards...okay, there's about ten in this part of the country, but how many have views this good at dinner? Okay, there are at least four--THIS IS WHY Osoyoos/Oliver wine country is so amazing! The interior of the restaurant was vacant the day we went--everyone was outside. I had the albacore tuna putanesca calamarata, and one of those words I understood. It was seared rare albacore tuna with artisan pasta and putanesca sauce. I still had to look up what putanesca was. It's a combination of anchovies, olives, and capers. Also, it's spelled "puttanesca"--SPELLING MISTAKE. We'll excuse them and move on. My girlfriend had the grilled wild moon organic pork chop--you see, that I understood, with crab apple mustard, fried polenta, baby kale and charred leeks. We preceded that with the albóndigas, which is Spanish for meatballs. I mean...they could just call it that. It was served in a rich tomato sauce with parmesan and arugula. It was all amazing, so much so that despite almost getting tipsy at Road 13 earlier that day, I polished the evening with a flight of three glasses of white. They paired well. Yes, it's becoming old hat that every single winery in this region is amazing. Because they are. Tinhorn is barely a few minutes away from Hester Creek and Gehringer Brothers. This is foodie Disney. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Best of the 'sit down fancy restaurant' types in the Osoyoos / Oliver area. Beautiful setting outdoors, great presentation of the food. Flavors were excellent, server very helpful in making drinks and helping with special requests etc. Pork Belly - crispy, flavorful.. if it wasn't so heart attack inducing i'd eat more Flat bread - again not bad, not 'special' but tasty. If you're looking for a sit down 'fine dining' type in the region, this is the one to go to.. that or Terrafina is a close second. just avoid Sonora Room.

Yelp
Beautiful view, good food. The grilled octopus appetizer melts in your mouth :). Prices a bit high, but would come back for sure.

Yelp
Really looking forward to seeing the new restaurant!! Good wines in general, with a great view off the deck to sit and enjoy a glass from. We have never went to an event there, but have heard good things about it. Tasting room and grounds are some of the better in the area, and the staff is great, though sometimes lacking in knowledge. Price points are OK. Another to make sure you stop at while in the "golden mile" of canada. Update: While we quite enjoyed the new restaurant and view, we can't say the wines showed as well. The nose was nice, but it lacked any depth and was overly acidic in general. We're finding a trend in the West valley wineries for much higher acidity than the more sundrenched east side.

Yelp
I didn't know what to expect before coming here. Some reviews were a little mixed; but those were for weddings. We came to Tinhorn because we wanted to do some wine tastings then have dinner afterwards. We left very impressed. The salmon and halibut was some of the best we've had anywhere. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with amazing views. If you are visiting the winery definitely make the effort to eat here!

Yelp
Good amount of outdoor seating with impressive views. Tasting course was focused on local heirloom tomatoes and was mostly fantastic. Good wine and service.

Yelp
Best winery outside of Osoyoos. The grounds are beautiful and there's ton of space for parking. Once inside, the staff are extremely attentive. You're immediately given a glass of a feature wine. With your first taste in hand, you enter the main tasting room. The wines are made from grapes and not any pre-made juices or anything like that. They have very few blends (unlike wineries that mix blueberries and cherries and etc) so this is a true and pure winery. Excellent wines at excellent prices. Purchase a bottle or glass, along with some crackers and cheese, and enjoy the patio. After the tasting, feel free to take the self-tour and explore the deep and rich history of the family and winery. You can view the bottling line, the storage tanks, the pressing area and the oak barrel room. After the self-tour, head to the back of the winery to catch a Saturday evening music concert or just walk the mini-vineyard and sample the grapes. To end the day, stop at the restaurant for Tapas or dinner service with okanagan valley views. This is an excellent winery. Whether you're a first timer or have a lot of winery experiences, check out Tin Horn.
