The walk up is a bit of a climb, but the payoff is absolutely worth it, with a sweeping panoramic view over the city, the river, and the surrounding hills that feels both peaceful and unforgettable. It’s less crowded than some of the more central viewpoints, which makes it a great place to slow down, take photos, and simply enjoy the moment. Whether you visit at sunrise, during the day, or at sunset, it’s a beautiful spot that truly captures the charm and character of Lisbon.

This viewpoint offers one of the most beautiful and expansive panoramas in Lisbon. It’s quieter than many of the other miradouros, which makes the atmosphere more relaxed and enjoyable. The view stretches across the entire city — from the castle to the river — and is especially impressive around sunset. A peaceful spot to take a break from the busy streets below and appreciate Lisbon from above. Definitely worth the walk.

A stunning view of the city. It's a bit of a tiring walk uphill but if your prepared for it its nice to explore the area. There's plenty of space for pictures when you reach it. With lots of nice cafe's and restaurants close by if you need a break. I'd definitely recommend checking it out for an atmospheric view and pictures if you have time.

An amazing viewpoint looking over the city and towards the river. Lucky enough to have such a beautiful day, in the middle of December, to see this panorama. Well worth visiting for the WOW factor alone. Plenty of photo opportunities from here.

One of the best few points of Lisbon. Gorgeous photos of a sunset and there’s a beautiful church right next to it so that you can go in at no cost, but you can make donations. I took an electric bike to see the place since it’s very uphill, so I don’t recommend walking. I suggest taking the tram 28 up.

4.5 stars. Miradouro da Senhora do Monte or "Viewpoint of Our Lady of the Mount" is the highest point in the Graca neighborhood and offers beautiful panoramic views of Lisbon. It is named after its statue of Nossa Senhora do Monte, the Virgin, which is in front of a chapel that was built in the 1700s. When my husband and I were on vacation in Lisbon, our tour guide drove us here on a tuk tuk. We spent many minutes viewing the surrounding city--the 25 de Abril Bridge, the Sanctuary of Christ the King, Sao Jorge Castle, the Tagus estuary, the orange rooftops of buildings, and much more. The only negative aspect of this area was two women who were pressuring us to purchase jewelry, and they refused to accept our no's. Our tour guide, however, intervened and told them something in Portuguese to get them to leave us alone.

Senhora do Monte aka Lady of the Hill is Lisbon's ultimate mic drop. This view is raw and unfiltered Portugal. You've got the entire city at your feet. Feels like San Francisco got jealous and tried to copy it, same architect as the Golden Gate, no big deal. But instead of fog and fleece jackets, here you get tiled rooftops, pastel buildings, and a sun that doesn't ghost you by 3 p.m.

Great viewpoint in Graça near Alfalma. Also know as the Lady of the Hill viewpoint. I think the best free viewpoint of Lisbon with some shade and sun and places to sit. Only negative is some ladies trying to hock some cheap bracelets don't lime to take no for an answer, but eventually left us alone. A cute Tuk tuk food truck was there as well selling coffee and snacks. Definitely worth the hike up!

This viewpoint popped up during my research of things to do in Lisbon. It's free and you get spectacular views of the city. I believe there is a tram that you can take up to the viewpoint but taking an Uber will be quicker and probably cheaper (especially if you have multiple people). We ended up walking to our next destination and it's A LOT of steps to get back down. Luckily, it was going down because going up all of those steps would have been a struggle. It's worth a visit but if you're thinking of walking up, you may want to think twice.

One of the highest points in Lisbon with an amazing view of the city, facing across the Tagus valley to the sunset. It's a bit of a challenge to get here - the walk from the 28E tram stop on Rua da Graça is steeply uphill for two blocks. If the sidewalks are even slightly wet, walk in the street. At the top, there are some concrete benches for sitting and a good amount of room for standing. I was here in the off season and it was still a little crowded. During the summer, I'm sure it's bonkers up here. There is a convenience store near the tram stop if you were planning to have an adult beverage or a snack while you watch the sunset. A couple of kiosks are here - the beer one was closed but the booze lady was operating. She has mojitos and caipirinhas with fresh mint and fresh ice. If you're lucky, there might be a good musician or two. Please tip them for their work. A few parking spaces but don't depend on them being available or legal. Please be considerate of the neighborhood as far as noise and litter. [Review 16647 overall - 161 in Portugal - 159 of 2022.]

This park was truly a surprise. We took the funicular to the top and were amazed to hear music playing, see dancers, musicians, a fountain, statue and a huge terrace with marked views of the city, castle and ocean. There was even a woman with a blender and pineapples serving cocktails.

This was my second View point stop. It's about a 15 minute walk from Miradouro das Portas do Sol & definitely at a higher elevation. The View is different as you get the other side of the city with Abril bridge, Tagus river, Sao Jorge Castle and panoramic view of the city neighborhoods. Probably the highest viewpoint in the city & has a mini park with some street vendors. Take the walk up for amazing views, sit back, reflect and & take in this beautiful city-you won't be disappointed!

Service was quick and efficient (however please book online through your phone otherwise you will have a small, short line to get in). This is an amazing place to take pictures. I see there was plenty of carts to buy drinks (including cocktails) however they were closed for the day I visited (i'm assuming it has been closed since the pandemic). Nonetheless please visit here if you are touring Lisbon!
